but anyway (the post in question) it just... it would work REALLY well... all of the little wrongnesses about hisui that he never mentions bc they seem so trivial on their own... the much more major feelings about losing his memories and getting dumped here that he hasn't talked about with anyone because no really, who would he tell?... and then of course all the emotions he literally CAN'T express because he doesn't even remember what or why they are! just building and building like a runaway engine as he continues to unconsciously feed this garden...

i guess to make there be some plot to this i would probably set it at least partially post-canon. as in, after he goes home to unova. to emmet. but naturally, memories or no, the hanahaki doesn't just go away, not by itself—and also even if it did there are still all the side effects, right. he comes home gaunt and hoarse-voiced and exhausted and with audible difficulty breathing...

actually even better if he's refusing to talk about the hanahaki itself because he doesn't want it to be A Thing so he's just like. pretending to be fine. which is so obviously a lie but nobody's sure how to push him on it either. it's a vicious cycle

I'll miss you, too, Azure! I'm glad you felt something from Frank, especially since you're the one who first made me aware of what a fully functioning bot can be like.

(This is probably the least difficult part of shutting down Frank, and there will be a few more rounds of that over the next few days as I get a little further away from school and all the responsibilities that come along with it. But I'm not planning to just leave this blog on autopilot, I will definitely be back with something new in a few months.)
