Cipactli - the primordial crocodile monster from Aztec mythology. She has an insatiable hunger, represented by mouths covering her body and one located on every joint. The gods attempted to kill her and use her corpse to form earth, and yet she survived. She demands to be fed and sustained through ritual blood sacrifice.
Some progress screenshots taken in Unreal Engine 4.
At this point all the modular wall pieces that make up the main building and platform have been completed. Just might need to tweak the trim sheet in future.
Happy with the progress so far, just the roof, decals, plants, and props to go :)
This was my first D&D character who I played very briefly before the campaign was discontinued so I have been hanging on to this character since them with the intention to eventually use him again.
Tlalocoatl, or Tlalo is a Silver Dragonborn/Blue Half Dragon Paladin/Draconic Sorcerer.
He was raised by a Holy Order of Crusader Knights whose stated goal is to rid the world of all Monsters and being a Monstrous race himself they were not fond of Tlalo being among their ranks but Tlalo still believed that they were overall good people with a good goal and wanted to rise among the ranks as one of them.
Nearing the day he was meant to be officially knighted he discovered his parental guardian and mentor knight murdered and he was accused of the crime. Running from his former allies he seeks to uncover the truth and clear his name but he is not going to like what he finds...
Long story short the Knights are not the heroes he thought they were and killed his mentor in order to blame Tlalo, meanwhile he is starting to show powers and features from his Blue Dragon Father and is scared that he will become a monster.
My plan is that he needs to learn that he doesn’t have to be just like the knights he was raised by and he doesn’t need to be just like his dragon father, he has the ability to be his own kind of Knight and Dragon accepting both but doing it his own way.
I will be writing a knew story about my oc and our beautiful general Okoye from Black Panther. This will for sure be multiple parts and I hope my oc’s backstory isn’t too sad. I’ll start and the project soon as I have already been brainstorming the first chapter. :)
Details:
This story will be wlw oc is bisexual (confirmed later in the story)
Oc’s name is Valentina Siuapilli ( see - oo - ah - pilli) Valentina meaning healthy and strong, and Siuapilli meaning princess.
She is the age of 28
She is of Aztec decent
She has powers ( given by the gods) however she cannot control them.
She has a very happy and optimistic personality but she is very broken on the inside.
Basically Enemies to lovers
Story takes place at the beginning of Black Panther
W’kabi and Okoye are only friends in this story they are not together.
Most of the story will be fluff
I will try my best not to mess this up, I will do my research as best I can. Please give me feedback and tell me if I am being offensive in any way.
The name of the story will be “ Where red and blue meet in the East”
not 100% on the designs for the classic villains i might make separate unique villains inspired by aztec mythology and redesign them completely but i had fun drawing them anyways 😁
Man God of War has now taken toll on me so here’s my insert oc Queztal, the daughter of the serpent god Kukulkán who was banished from her home to the Norse realm and was saved by Freya. She stays along her side until he goes on adventures with Kratos and Atreus, titling them as her family with Kratos being a terrifying father and Atreus being her little brother.
I remember I do have a old Aztec oc I need to revive, her name being of Xochiqueztal who was close with Atreus. I’m probably gonna have to redesign to since I lost of my doodles of her
Inspired by a mix of Mayan and Aztec architectural styles, to create one impressive Mesoamerican pyramid! The idea was to create a sort of cultural trade center, for different cultures to exchange goods, art, and services peacefully with one another.
(what was tumblers policy on boobs again??? hmmm I can't remember but I think this is fine)
Mergo! A distant continent I barely talk about on here, (I should change that) these are two people from two of merges powerful southern empires.
this picture is of a magician of the mountain people and a noblewoman from the empire of the heavenly bodies (also known as euphoria).
though these cultures are geographically distant, there is a jungle in the way, they still meet up to have agreements of trade and diplomacy. the garnlan is a symbol of peace.
the magicians of Mergo tend to do the majority of their magic by the theory of Expression.
the Mountain people (their empire is not yet named ) gives their magicians a wide array of freedom as they are only ever asked to give one gift to the betterment of the empire. The magicians distinguish themselves from regular people of the empire by the “shield hat” that they wear. they are called by Pocilla (masc. pocillo)
the Euphorian empire is relatively modern and is seen as the successor to a number of empires that came from that region before their main competitor is the empire of jagandi, the empire of five kingdoms. Euphoria is ruled by a male emperor who is elected by the four Queens, the four queens are chosen from the nobility and are elected into their position by the different noble families. the queens serve for life unless they willingly retire. the empire used to have a dual monarchy, but that monarchy closed when the last rulers betrayed the other so the council of queens was formed instead. the Euphorian empire places a great deal of emphasis on gender roles,
Mergo is a distant continent located in the western hemisphere.its vast amount of cultures and technologies has been independently developing sense the fay folk fell. the continent is connected to endless forest. but it is surrounded by even more forest, and those few visiting fay do not stay long, and if they are seen they are usually thought of as ghosts or claimed souls of the forest.
the designer of the people are loosely inspired by the Aztec and Minoan civilizations, while the one on the left is entirely inspired by a tapestry I saw in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
Mergo is a large continent that is heavily inspired by the Americas, both north and south. in the far north you reach the fragmented, friged lands of ins-qua-rî which are more heavily inspired by vikings and slavic cultures.
disclaimer:
truth is one of the reasons I hesitate to share more about mergo is because it is so heavily inspired by the americas, and i don't have great confidence in my knowledge of mesoamerica and southamerica, there Is some cultural overlap between my tribe and some of the practices of other southern culture, and I don't seek to recreate South America one to one. simply I have a lot more to learn, though I do hope to do it well as mergo was created to mesh my cultural identities.
(Oops bit late posting, but better late then never!)
Hero Assets -
Modelling and texturing of the 4 hero assests needed for this building is now complete. They all use the same trim sheet as the rest of the building so that if any texture changes are needed they will continue to be uniform in apperance. In order to finish these assets, I now need to create the "Godess" and "Sign/Logo" decals.
Emissive Textures -
I changed the texture used for the inside of the windows to use "emissive" instead of "base colour" this simulates indoor lighting giving the building a lived in appearance. The effect is very basic but I'm close to the end of this project, so i'll work on the effect in the next one :)
my Aztec/Maya/Inca inspired girlie (and some other girls)!! her name is Augustine Dorian! she's not a furry character, just an anthro cat lady of a species for one of my stories I'm developing :)
