One thing i love about that generation is their "bookmark" format photos. As you can see all of these photos are longer than wider, and they hav some sort of text below. I like to call it the "bromide" format, like a poster basically. This could be easily printed out, laminated and then sold as bookmarks, especially in Korea. It was basocally the photocard of the 80s.

In Korea, American actresses Brooke Shields, Sophie Marceau, Phoebe Cates, Taiwanese actress Joey Wong (also known in Korea as Wang Jo-hyun), and other stars such as Isabel Azani were popular "bookmark goddesses". While on the international side, they were held to a more mature beauty standard, the Korean "bookmark goddesses" were picked based on how innocent and youthful their looks were.

The most famous ones are singer Lee Ji Yeon, actresses Lee SangAh, Ha Heera, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Mi Yeon, Choi Soo Ji, Chae Shi Ra, Choi Jin Shil and a lot more.

well not for much longer! i'm working on releasing it as a kniku body edit, and including it in my ports going forward! tentatively calling it scrunglied kniku, since i'm more or less doing the scrungly bibo chest by hafrun but on kniku

i was going to do some more testing and taking in game screenies today but given that i can't be in game for more than 2 minutes before getting booted that's not gonna happen

but i'm still excited about it so i wanted to show what i have so far!! in a little video under the cut, since you know. boobies.

i'm sure it's going to be very niche, but if anyone would be interested in trying it for their character please let me know!! i could send it to you for some beta testing if you're interested :D

Magma Hell Hound - CR6 Outsider (Hell)

A stronger variant hell hound with some additional elemental powers.

Hell hounds feel like they’re conceptually somewhere between devils and fire elementals.  Magma hell hounds are a sturdier breed of the same concept, imbued with a combination of earth and fire planar power.  Like normal hell hounds, they’re native to the plane of Hell and are used as attack beasts by devils and summoners.  They’re more difficult to control, however, and more likely to be encountered as wild beasts in Hell instead.

Also take a look at the Unlocked Hell Hound that I posted last week, which is just a different interpretation of a normal hell hound, and its daddy, the Alpha Hell Hound.

Magma Hell Hound - CR 6

This creature resembles a wolf with jagged rocks in place of its fur.  A fiercely burning heat glows from within its chest, its eyes are points of flame, and magma drips from its open mouth.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Ember Charge (Su) When a magma hell hound successfully hits a creature or object with an attack or combat maneuver at the end of a charge, it can choose to create a burst effect of glowing embers at the point of impact.  All creatures within 30 feet of the target must succeed at a DC 14 Reflex save or be illuminated as if by Faerie Fire for 1 minute.  The save DC is Dexterity-based.

Hell Howl (Su) Once per day, as a swift action, a magma hell hound can let out a fearsome howl that echoes with hellish power.  All lawful-aligned creatures and evil-aligned creatures within 30 feet gain a +1 morale bonus to attack rolls and a +4 morale bonus on Will saves against fear effects for 1d3 rounds.

Earth Glide (Ex) A burrowing magma hell hound can pass through stone, dirt, lava, or almost any other sort of earth except metal as easily as a fish swims through water.  Its burrowing leaves behind no tunnel or hole, nor does it create any ripple, though the area it passes through feels warm for 1 round afterward and often retains a strangely smooth texture, as if the stone had been polished.  A move earth spell cast on an area containing a burrowing magma elemental flings the elemental back 30 feet, stunning the creature for 1 round unless it succeeds on a DC 15 Fortitude save.

Lava Breath (Su) As a standard action, once every 1d4 rounds, a magma hell hound can spew a blast of magma from its mouth in a 15-foot cone, dealing 4d6 fire damage to objects and creatures in the area and leaving behind a puddle of lava that fills its space to a depth of 2–3 inches and counts as difficult terrain.  A DC 18 Reflex save halves the damage.  The save DC is Constitution-based.

Any creature that moves into or through this puddle of lava takes 2d6 points of fire damage.  This damage continues for 1d3 rounds after the creature leaves the lava pool, although then it only inflicts 1d6 points of fire damage per round.  The lava puddle solidifies and is safe to touch after 6 rounds.  At the GM’s discretion, this puddle of lava could start secondary fires.

Lore Primer: Welcome to Gaia!

The land of Gaia is a fantastical world full of diverse creatures, magic and gods. The gods in particular play a critical role in not only maintaining the world’s balance, but shepherding their mortal children. These children are the main inhabitants of Gaia, called the six great races. We’ll talk much more in-depth about all these concepts in their own posts so this will be more of a basic primer on what you can expect to be important concepts in this world and the tales it has to tell.

Having gods around is so key to life in this land that in the oceans beyond the shores of the earth gods and the wings of the wind gods, no life can flourish. No creatures or plants live below the waves, and it is widely considered a no-man’s land, traveled only by the desperate and the foolish.

It’s also not just life itself, but the things which make life worth living. Climates to support lazy days in the sun or much-needed rains, and cultures to keep alive the memories and lessons of days long past, these are also among the responsibilities of the gods.

For the mortals that make up the six great races under the gods, there are two important concepts that define life on Gaia: The Circle and the Rites. The Circle is a kind of blessing given to a mortal under the purview of a given god, it’s both a blessing of magical power and a promise of guidance.

Unlike what we’re used to, inhabitants of Gaia are born through magical rituals to beseech the gods for a child. The Rites are the umbrella term used to describe all of these rituals, which are unique to each race.

I’ll close this primer off with a quick introduction to each of the six great races:

Rorkar: Short and sturdy folk of the earth. Them and their gods share a strong sense of community.

Targa: Varied and independent shepherds of the wilds. Them and their gods share traits with beasts of the wilderness.

Azani: Colorful and boisterous people of the wind. Them and their gods maintain customs built around love and intimacy.

Ghel: Statuesque horned masters of flame. Them and their gods boast unparalleled mastery of their talents.

Ireli: Crystalline and empathetic casters of light. Them and their gods live in seclusion and practice a unique form of memory-based magic.

Midlin: Mechanical and ever-changing heralds of progress. Them and their gods seem to revel in defying the world’s conventions.
