the night sky above beacon hills was clear, there was not a cloud in the sky, it was perfect for the night of the much-anticipated meteor shower. stiles found himself drawn to the outskirts of town, far enough from city lights to fully appreciate the cosmic spectacle. leaning against his jeep, stiles craned his neck to take in the breathtaking display of meteors streaking across the sky. with mouth agape, he hopped up onto the bonnet, then made his way slowly up to the roof, laying back and folding his arms behind his head. the rhythmic sound of the meteor shower was both mesmerizing and somewhat eerie. it was unlike anything he'd ever seen before, and he had the best seat in the house.
