Life Update - Room Photos

Hi everyone, it's me again. I want to start working on my new video again, but it's been hard. I still struggle with losing my baby. Thankfully I have finally gotten myself to finish cleaning and folding over 3 months of laundry I've been putting off, and yesterday I spent the whole day reorganizing and cleaning up my room. Currently my room is my top priority since it's my only escape, and I'm trying to get more comfortable in it all over again. Since losing Nugget it's been hard to sit in an empty room. I never come home from work to her laying in the middle of my bed anymore, and it's been so draining just feeling so alone all the time.

Organizing and decorating my room seems to be a coping mechanism of mine now. Even if my family says I look like a hoarder and that I'm running out of room, I don't care. I will add to it until I can't see my walls. It makes me happy. Being surrounded by my favorite things and colors and characters has helped me so much.

I don't know if anyone else will feel the same, but your room should bring you joy. It's your place of rest, your place of calm, and for some people a place of worship. It's a place meant to keep you comfortable and happy. And if I have to have my baby looking down on me every night with the rest of my knick knacks and posters, I will.

ALR SO abt the last post I made (the one abt the netflix + my weekend) I ended up throwing up which was great, so moral of the story don't drink an XXL slurpee and a monster all in one sitting while moving around a lot kids 👍

It sucked but I'm fine now, I love my room, and I had the weekend to recover. Now, as promised, here's the pics of my new room :]

AuDHD is so funny sometimes like what do you mean my hyperfixations/special interests will last for years on end or possibly forever but they will cycle out every month or two with absolutely no transitional period or warning. like i will think about the same topic every day obsessively for 46 days in a row and on the 47th day with no visible cause adhd brain goes "ok! bored of that now" and autism brain goes "dw i got something queued up for ya" and i blast into full blown obsession on some other topic whose mental file folders haven't opened in 9 months. brain's out here treating hyperfixations like a crop rotation. once the dopamine runs out it cycles in another one but once something's in the rotation it never ever leaves. last summer we brought in one from when i was 11. it's so funny to me but frustrating too bc like. i cannot stress enough my inability to predict or control this. or how completely abrupt and random it can be

Finally built my shoe shelf. Can't wait to load it up with books, my fav scents, makeup, plushies, and handbags (everything but shoes ironically)

Collection/Room update!!

I finally got one of the Mikus I ordered off Tokyo Otaku Mode last year, she is adorable and surprisingly big compared to my other figures. Though she did come with a small scuff on her boob.. but it’s whatever. I just won’t ever buy off TOM again 😅

Aside from that I’ve been covering everything I own in stickers and charms. I love the maximalist style, but hate the clutter so if you’re like me I really suggest buying some stickers!! They really help things like mirrors and boxes pop, not to mention you can get stickers of just about anything on Redbubble.
