So I want to stay with you so you won’t be lonely anymore!” Kyurem couldn’t form a response to that. It could hardly understand his thought processes, though it knew he was being sincere. Eventually, its guard lowered and it laid its head against the icy ground again. With a huff, Kyurem finally grumbled. “Do whatever you wish.” And so he did, and he stayed with Kyurem for many months. Kyurem slowly began to appreciate the young boy’s company, considering him a trusted ally, possibly the only human he would ever put his trust in… Eventually, Kyurem finally brought up a question that he should’ve asked when the two had met. “Tell me… Do you have a name, child?” The boy gave a cheerful nod, his boundless energy and warmth harshly contrasting the frigid castle of ice around the two of them. “Mhm! It’s Lloyd!”

Rusty had put his jacket on the couch momentarily while he went to fetch his phone from upstairs. He came back down and went to grab his jacket only to find it had gone. Rusty chuckled to himself as he walked towards the kitchen where you were making a cup of tea.

"Baby could I have my jacket back please I gotta go."

"But I'm freezing and this is really warm plus it smells like you."

"I could just stay here but then we wouldn't have anything to eat"

"Can't I just come with you. Pleasee?" Giving your best puppy dog eyes.

Rusty rolls his eyes pretending to be annoyed "well come on then, hurry up and put some shoes on."

You quickly but carefully poured your tea into a travel mug to drink on the way into town. Putting your shoes on while Rusty went upstairs to get another jacket.

Bo Sinclair

Bo had come back home from working in the gas station to have some lunch. He was in the middle of making a sandwich when he felt arms wrap around his waist from behind.

"Hey baby" he says as he turns around in your grasp to kiss your forehead. "You had food yet?"

"No, I was planning on taking some and Jonesy to that lake in the forest."

"M'kay, just be careful"

"I will" you place a quick kiss on his lips before making your own sandwich. You also pick up a packet of crisps and a can of pop.

"I'mma get back to work, ya gonna be ok?"

"I'll be fine honey" giving him a sweet kiss before taking his hat off his head and it on yours.

"Oi ya little minx, that's mah hat"

"I gotta go byeee" you wave as you walk out the door.

Michael Myers

Michael was looking around for the new hoodie you brought him last week. He had checked the bedroom, the entire wardrobe and the drawers had been emptied, their contents lying all over the floor. He had checked the washing basket. Picked it up and emptied it on the bathroom floor. His hoodie wasn't there either. Michael walked into the living room to ask if you knew where it was, only to find you curled up on the couch wearing the exact hoodie he was trying to find. Michael let out a sharp of air out of his nose before deciding to lie down on the couch and pull you on top of him.

last book- I reread a trilogy from my childhood by Jessica Day George, Dragon Slippers, Dragon Flight, and Dragon Spear and I still enjoyed it! A surprise lol. Dead Is The New Black did not stand the test of time, but it did inspire me to one day write a modern paranormal college sort of book lol.

last movie- Premium Rush, which I watched like three times in the theatre and I still love it!

last TV show- currently on my Elementary rewatch and plan to do Ghost Whisperer next. Does Dimension 20 Fantasy High Junior Year count as a tv show? I'm technically watching that too :)

I'm kinda honored that I could even get someone to remotely consider playing the game, but I hope you're enjoying it so far! And Quotev too? Wow. Haven't posted anything there in a hot minute but that's where all my old and original stuff is. Been thinking about posting there again, but we gotta see. And don't worry, I guess I'll kinda consider this time of not writing much as a break. Hopefully my motivation comes back though.

As for the second part of your ask, I don't believe I've ever been asked that. Yeah, I say sure, why not? Lordy. Back in 2019, I posted an extremely rough draft of a multi-chapter Sanders Sides (or 'SaSi') fanfic called Kingdoms for a Mind (or 'KFAM') on Wattpad. Either that one or a now tossed SaSi fic called Fear No More (guess which side was the focus in that one. Guess. Hint: It's the anxious guy.)

Virgil from Sanders Sides, I thiiiiink? Although I wrote for most of the sides at that point, too. Virgil was my little baby boy though.

Logan, Janus, Virgil, Patton, and Remus in the updated version of KFAM i'm working on, and Patton and Roman in a new SaSi/The Mechanisms crossover.

Logan’s feeling are private, they are his, and they do not have to be spoken to anyone. Ever. Logan looks down toward the grass. Why do you care? He almost spits out, but in his periphery, he can see Janus still looking towards the woods. The other’s hands are placed gingerly in his own lap. His mouth is turned down, but his eyes are wide and alert. Janus longs for Virgil to return, too, just as Logan is. He feels the same urges Logan feels. Janus must already know the answer to his question. He knows. He must hate that he knows. He thinks Logan will either save his feelings or put him out of his misery and either option is nicer than conscious ignorance. Perhaps Janus has come to find he can’t lie to himself either. Cal and Kiara have been ‘talking’ for nearly a year now, the two had met through Faith a mutual friend of the two. Kiara had grown up with Faith the two being bes friends since a young age and during Faith and Ethan’s baby shower the two met and soon a situationship was formed. Cal seemed happy with the current situation he thought Kiara felt the same little did he know it was really starting to confuse the girl which is why she decided it was finally time to drop her second album in hopes of boy finally taking the hint.

Last song I listened to: “Older” by Lizzy McAlpine

Last thing I read: I am excluding fanfiction here to make this easier to answer 😎 one of my goals for this year is to read more, and to accomplish that I’m reading books I am actually interested in instead of books I feel like I should read. That being said, the last book I finished is “How to Keep House While Drowning” by KC Davis because I need some tips for getting my life together lol. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with cleaning/care tasks. Before that I read “Verity” by Colleen Hoover, which is a right rollercoaster of a novel despite its subpar writing. I enjoyed it a lot and it was quite disturbing.

Last movie I watched: I think it was Bottoms. Wacky movie, not my usual preferred genre, but I’m a big Ayo Edebiri fan and she was great in it. I’m seeing Dune 2 this weekend.

Last TV show: Right now I am trying to get through as much of 911 as I can before my Hulu free trial expires. I am living and breathing this show. I’m almost done with Supernatural and I’m dragging it out because I don’t want it to be over. This rewatch has taken me years. My boyfriend and I are also watching an anime called “Made in Abyss” - and it’s fantastic! 11/10 worldbuilding. I started Succession and I’m not sure yet if I’ll continue.

Last thing I googled: “cheap online glasses” - time for new glasses but I don’t want to pay an arm & a leg

Last thing I ate: Raspberry Mamba

Sweet, salty, or savory: there’s a time and a place for all of these. But if I have to pick one I’m going with salty. My love for popcorn runs deep

Sleep: Could be better!

Currently reading: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. A friend recommended it to me, and I love a solid fantasy/romance. Y’all. This book has taken over my life and my brain and I’m only halfway through. This is my adult Harry Potter phase but there’s smut and more dragons. And there’s characters of color! LGBTQ+ characters! Awesome worldbuilding!I’ve already been looking at fandom merch on Etsy and my friend is planning a release party for the third book in the series. If you like fantasy, give it a shot and let me know what you think because I want to nerd out about it :)

Fic Writer 20 Questions

Tagging myself in for my Friday writing warmup.

1.) How many works do you have on ao3?

I have 36 on Ao3.

2.) What’s your ao3 word count?  

this floored me: 310,306. That’ll do.

3.) What fandoms do you write for? 

Most of my fics are in the MCU: Sarah Wilson/Bucky Barnes is the biggest. I write Aneka/Ayo for Black Panther.

I also write Star Wars lesbian rare pairs: original characters, Bo-Katan, Ahsoka Tano, The Armorer, some girlies from Book of Boba Fett.

4.) What are your top five fics by kudos?

all of my top 5 are Sarah Wilson/Bucky Barnes, because that’s what I wrote first, and for the longest.

1 - Jazz Standards – My “how they get together” fic. I love it. Sarah has a chance to buy a second boat to expand Wilson Seafood. Bucky helps. Delicious slow burn.

2 - Don’t Get Around Much Anymore – My first fic in the fandom: After Sam Wilson’s welcome home celebratory party, Sarah and Bucky get to know each other, share a few beers, and establish their own relationship separate from Sam.

3 - Jazz Standards, vol 2 – A new collection in 10 chapters, exploring Sarah and Bucky’s relationship after months together – the challenges, the adventures, and of course, the pasts that neither of them can quite leave behind. This is my favorite of them all.

4 - Jazz Standards, vol 3 – My last installment, in which all is finally revealed as Sarah goes to Wakanda.

5 - Under a Blanket of Blue – a Smutty little piece about sex and communication. Hotter than hot.

5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to respond to every comment, even just with a thank you. You took the time to say something, i take the time to respond.

6.) What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

whew…I don’t end with angst. I’m a certified member of the happy ending club. Most angst over all? Probably my original characters Star Wars long fic – Adventures of Relics. I hate the title now, but whatever. It is pure suffering from about Ch 4 to 16. Then resolution in the last two chapters. This is my favorite non-MCU fic, even tho it doesn’t get a lot of love because they are lesbians and original characters.

Second up on the Angst meter would be Interrupted, my Ahsoka/Bo-Katan fic. Bc those 2 are made of Angst.

7.) What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Happiest? Well, not counting all the sex… Renaissance Songbooks. It is a Sarah Wilson/Bucky Barnes Renaissance AU, in which they adopt 6 or 7 orphans. Lots of happiness to go around.

8.) Do you get hate on fics?

never once.

9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Yes. Quite a bit. what kind? Most of my fics have sex scenes, some are definitely smut. Occasional light domination, but nothing I’d put a name to. Want to know more? check the tags.

10.) Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I can barely write AUs, let along crossovers.

11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of

Nope. Would be super open if anyone ever wanted to though!

13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

@tllgrrl and I co-wrote: Bucky, Cass and the King of Mardi Gras. It is a little adventure for Cass Wilson Jr.

14.) What’s your all time favorite ship?

15.) What’s a WIP you’d like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Technically I never finished Jazz Standards Vol3, but where it is is good. Out West, my Western AU for Sarah/Bucky…lots of plans there, but it never became anything.

16.) What are your writing strengths?

I can write a sex scene that would set wet straw on fire.

Asexuals like my sex scenes. I consider that the highest compliment.

17.) What are your writing weaknesses?

I repeat myself and over use some words/phrases/visuals. I have a list of stock items that I go thru and search/remove in every fic.

I don’t write men as well as I might like, but considering how many writers can’t write women for shit, that’s a weakness I can accept.

18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I’ve written dialog in Zabrak, does that count? My Bucky speaks ?? languages. I keep glossaries for Wakandan/various African languages open when I’m writing.

I love playing with words.

19.) First fandom you wrote for?

Not counting my LiveJournal days, that’d be my original characters Star Wars long fic – Adventures of Relics.

20.) Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Favorite…personal favorite my original characters Star Wars long fic – Adventures of Relics. I love the characters, the adventure they have, the sex they have. I poured my all into it. I’ve written other one-shots for them, but never published them. they are the ones I write for myself.

For my popular fics, I think Jazz Standards, Vol 2 is my best work. Great balance of sex, action, character, and redemption. If you don’t read it all, read that one. The last chapter is as close to perfect as I have ever come.

11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?

I have such a hard time killing my darlings 😭 I never want to. But I do it!! even though it’s hard! I did it not even like a week ago. There was a whole severitus plot line in build me no shrines that I was super attached to and I cut it, because it wasn’t working. I was crying the whole time and now I have a separate severitus fic that is in no way related. But yes I have a darling graveyard, usually they don’t stay dead long and get turned into new fic ideas

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

I mean, I’ve been doing creative writing forever it feels like. I wrote little short stories as a kid and drew really terrible comics. My mum got me this novel writing program that had a code for an online forum when I was around 12, and so I started writing a novel (I finished it too! I was 13 and it’s actually insane, the plot makes no sense, but like!! I did it, 45k of nonsense. my mum was so proud) but I joined the forum and it was a bunch of other kids all 12-17 who wanted to write books too. I kinda stopped for a while in high school and uni because I’d been told I couldn’t do anything with writing, that it was too hard to make a career out of it and I was better off doing something practical (haha jokes on them I went into art). Then in like… 2016? I had a brief little period where I wrote a couple Merlin fics, they didn’t do super well and I got a couple nasty comments that kinda put me off writing fanfic at all. Then in uhhhh August last year I got really into Harry Potter again after I broke off a toxic friendship with someone who said I couldn’t be queer and also like Harry Potter, so as a giant fuck you to them I joined the first HP discord server I found — which I kinda found my people right away and now I’m quite happily inhabiting my little corner of the internet and writing my stupid little stories.

22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?

Okay I don’t think I’m crazy organised but then I’ve been told I am, so idk make your own calls. I’ve got 2 physical notebooks, one for my two long WIPs and I just kinda put a coloured sticky note in the pages whenever I switch the fic I’m writing for, and a second book for random ideas and notes and stuff that usually gets transferred to the appropriate document later. The idea notebook is very small and lives in my pocket in case I’m out and need to write an idea down. But I don’t really take a lot of physical notes. My docs and folders though are perfectly organised. Docs are put in folders with their fic (or in the case of one shots, a folder for that) or like my general writing folder if it’s a resource, but I have a naming system that I use for all my projects, based on what kind of file it is so they get tagged with like [OUTLINE] or [WIP] or whatever is relevant. There’s a colour coding system within the documents (so like as I’m writing, notes to myself are always blue, notes on a character are green, sections that need editing are highlighted in red, sections that I’m currently working on are orange… and a few other colour keys that I won’t bore you with) and then I have a spreadsheet I use to track wc goals and overall progress and stuff. I’ve thought about using that “make your own wiki” site that was shared with me a little while ago (or I’ve got a subscription to WorldAnvil for my D&D notes, so maybe that) to start organising my lore notes a bit better, but that’s a fairly large project and I might just stick to what’s working for me.

No matter how festive the Holidays is, December has recently always gotten me down. It is a season of love and family - and usually I am not bothered, love-just-ain't-enough or family-are-people-we-choose and all. But lately, I must have been having a mid-life crisis of sorts, or perhaps in the late thirties, I have a better view of the past and how it sort of paved the now.

And even if they say that we don't need to mark yesterday as the end of something, or today as the start of something, I wanted to write this as a reminder that I have somehow:

Quarter 1:

Went to the world-famous Destileria Barako that very few Aklanons know of 🍻

I managed to sustain Maharlika Tribe last year and made one of the most beautiful banner yet. That talk with Nong Rodel, could be the last since he is currently in the hospital now. But I will always remember that night and be thankful that I was able to literally write that history with him.

Quarter 2:

I experienced the wonderful serenity of alone-ness and independence for three weeks in Manila and miraculously (through prayers) topped our vascular training. And had five new acquaintances! It was such a blessing that I went with a group of people who help each other and do not compete with each other.

I made a dream come true! It is not often that I make my dreams come true, I do not even think about dreams anymore, but I have been to the culture-filled ten-peso bill church that I have looked at so often in my childhood. Oh, Barasoain.

I experienced the country's longest procession with Renee!

I stupidly, hungrily lost my phone and funnily found it!

Quarter 3:

The heart-breaking moment that tested my credibility have gone. I ended so many friendships because of this quarter. I built even higher and thicker walls than I already have. I realized that time and shared experiences do not define the strength of a relationship and so, I am now even more wary of humans. Doc M asked,

So nanghinayang ka sa friendship ninyo?

I actually did not think of it that way. I thought I wasted my time and investment in a person who should not be a friend in the first place. But the friendship, I could do away with that.

Quarter 4:

I discovered how to listen to podcasts (Short History of, Catholic Saints and Everything Everywhere) and liked it (especially meeting Saint Thomas in a new light and shedding a tear for Vincent van Gogh)!

So if Doc E did not notice 2023 pass by, I have a few milestones at least.

I heard this song played thrice yesterday. First, I saw an old woman who looked to be in her sixties sing this in a karaoke. So I played it again in Spotify. And third, as I was sitting with Tay Upong. And I thought, how simple and yet so fitting.

Tay Upong is the single living good influnce in my life. Tati was gone. He is the only person I know that gave me thoughts like, "Gusto ko mag asawa sa ulihi it makay Tay Upong," the only male figure I love completely, the only person in my childhood that showed me love and stayed the same.

The nakaraan in the song is not about hate and bad memories with Tay Upong. I remember afternoons when I would get white hairs in exchange of five pesos. I remember playing with his skin tag. I vaguely remember riding in his beaten and rusted motorcycle while I was a kid. I remember that afternoon when I told him I will go home but he asked me what's wrong and took that worm crawling in my leg. I remember being so high sitting in his shoulders. I remember einabog he would cook for me.

With Tay Upong, there is only kindness and love. The one and only remaining good in my life. The only one that makes me look back in the past and not fear the ghost there. And I was so glad we were together yeterday. And I pray that 2024 would be good to us, to him especially.
