Shigure Sohma x Ayame Sohma x Hatori Sohma x Reader - Equal Chances
Prompt Given - Write me a fanfic in which Y/N goes to highschool with Hatori, Ayame, and Shigure Sohma. They're all very close friends, and the Sohma boys are all trying to win Y/N's affection. One day each of the boys goes all out flirting with Y/N, leaving Y/N to choose between them. Make the fic open ended so the reader can choose who Y/N decides to be with
Fic Generated -
As Y/N walked into the familiar halls of Kaibara High School, they couldn't help but smile at the sight of their close friends Hatori, Ayame, and Shigure Sohma. The four of them had been inseparable since they were kids, and their bond had only grown stronger as they navigated the challenges of high school together.
On a sunny afternoon, Y/N found themselves surrounded by the three Sohma boys, each one seemingly vying for their attention. Hatori, the stoic and caring type, approached first with a gentle smile.
"Y/N, there's something I'd like to talk to you about," he said softly, his eyes filled with warmth. "I've admired your kindness and compassion for a long time. You bring a sense of peace to my life, and I'd be honored if you'd consider being more than just friends."
Y/N's heart skipped a beat at Hatori's sincerity, feeling a warmth blossoming within them. Before they could respond, Ayame swooped in, his flamboyant charm on full display.
"Darling Y/N, my heart flutters in your presence," Ayame declared dramatically, a playful glint in his eyes. "You are a radiant star in my life, and I believe we'd make the most dazzling couple."
Y/N couldn't help but laugh at Ayame's theatrics, their heart torn between the sweet sincerity of Hatori and the captivating charm of Ayame. But before they could decide, Shigure stepped forward with his signature grin.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Shigure teased, leaning in slightly. "Y/N, you have this uncanny ability to keep me on my toes, and I must say, it's quite thrilling. I wonder, would you be interested in embarking on an adventure with me?"
Y/N's heart swayed once again, Shigure's adventurous spirit proving to be just as captivating as Hatori's care and Ayame's charisma. They found themselves in a delightful predicament, torn between the affectionate hearts of their three friends.
In the following days, Y/N spent time with each of the Sohma boys, each encounter leaving them with fond memories and moments they cherished. Hatori's quiet reassurance, Ayame's exuberant flair, and Shigure's playful banter all held a special place in Y/N's heart.
As their feelings grew deeper, Y/N found themselves in a difficult position. How could they possibly choose between three such wonderful individuals, each offering something unique and precious?
In the end, Y/N decided to take their time, savoring the moments shared with Hatori, Ayame, and Shigure. They valued their friendship with each of them, and they didn't want to rush into a decision that might change the dynamics of their group.
So, they continued to explore their feelings, knowing that when the time was right, their heart would lead them to the person who would become more than just a friend. Until then, they cherished the love and affection that surrounded them, knowing that their bond would always endure, no matter what path they chose.
And as the days turned into weeks, the story of Y/N and the Sohma boys remained open-ended, allowing the reader to imagine a future full of love and happiness, no matter who Y/N ultimately chose to be with.

Hatori Sohma realizing you're more than a friend to him
Tumblr media
Pairing: Hitori x reader
Word Count: 3,5k
Synopsis: You were around since he can remember. You, the only sunshine in his life, that woman he never gets tired of looking at. It takes Hitori too long to finally confess his feelings to himself. And then he's about to ruin everything...
Warnings: hurt to comfort, friends to lovers, this is sooo fluffy hehe
Tumblr media
Hatori Sohma is not a man who easily surrenders to the urges of emotion. The weight of his family’s curse, the pain of his own heartache, and the gravity of his responsibilities have forged him into a man who exists with quiet detachment in the shadows since that one fateful day. And yet, as you sit across from him at Shigure’s dinner table, laughing softly at one of Shigure’s ridiculous remarks, Hatori finds himself lost in thoughts he was never prepared to face.
You’ve been his friend for years - a steady presence in his life, like the moon hanging quietly in the night sky whenever he needs it. While others come and go, bringing chaos and change, you’ve always been there, offering your unwavering kindness and support. A warmth he has leaned on more times than he’d care to admit.
Still, he didn’t even dare to think about you as someone other than a friend. He’s always been careful to sort his feelings when it came to you, forcefully avoiding that little skip of his heart whenever he saw you.
Especially after Kana. Loving her, only to have the curse of the Sohma family destroy what both could have been, left scars he’s not sure will ever fully heal. He buried those wounds deep, vowing not to allow himself the vulnerability of love again. Not when it always means agony. Not when he’ll never live a normal life like all those other men walking around the world.
But lately, his heart has been betraying him, and today, watching Shigure lean a little too close to you while you laugh, it stings in a way he doesn’t know how to rationalize.
Earlier in the day, it was Ayame who started to chip away at the walls Hatori keeps so carefully constructed.
“I must say, Haa-san,” Ayame had declared, lounging dramatically on one of Shigure’s couches, “it’s almost tragic how blind you are to your own emotions.”
Hatori sighed, pushing up his glasses. He had little patience for Ayame’s theatrics at the best of times, and today was no exception. Why again this talk?
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Ah, denial,” Ayame said with a flourish, “the first stage of awakening!”
Shigure, who had been scribbling something in a notebook, looked up with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“What Ayame means, Haa-san, is that you’re rather obvious when it comes to a certain someone.”
Hatori froze in place. Shigure and Ayame exchanged a knowing glance that made his stomach twist. Were they talking about
you?
“If you’re going to make a point, do it quickly,” he remarked, his tone colder than he intended.
Ayame smirked, unbothered by the sudden change of tone. Even though he’s so convinced no one knows, everyone saw the way Hatori looked at you earlier with that slight smile forming on his lips. Every one knows about that picture of you he keeps well hidden in his purse.
“The point, dear Haa-san, is that your little friend has managed to do something extraordinary.”
“And what’s that?” Hatori inquired, already regretting engaging in the conversation.
“She’s gotten under your skin. (y/n), I mean”, Shigure interjected smoothly.
“In a good way, of course. You’re different around her - softer, more
 alive.”
Hatori frowned, hating the way his heart skips a beat how it always does when someone talks about you.
“That’s absurd.”
“Is it?”
Shigure leaned back in his chair, a sly grin tugging at his lips that usually means nothing but trouble.
“You’re a careful man. But I think even you can’t deny that she means something more to you. The question is, are you going to do anything about it?”
Before Hatori could respond, Ayame clapped his hands together.
“Oh, this is so romantic! The brooding doctor and his steadfast friend, bound by years of quiet affection, only to realize the depth of their feelings amidst life’s trials! It’s like something out of a novel!”
Hatori pinched the bridge of his nose.
“You’re both insufferable.”
Now, hours later, Hatori finds himself replaying their words. As much as he wants to dismiss their observations, there’s a nagging truth to them that he can’t ignore. He does feel different around you. You have a way of making the world seem a little less heavy, of making him feel seen in a way no one else does. Even though you know about his curse, despite the fact that you’ve seen him and other Sohma’s turn into animals countless times by now, you never changed your soft attitude towards him.
Just the thought of losing you, even to something as harmless as Shigure’s playful flirting, fills him with an ache he doesn’t fully understand.
“Earth to Hatori,” Shigure teases, waving a hand in front of his face.
“You’ve been staring at your plate for the past five minutes. Is something on your mind?”, you add with your brows furrowed in that way that glues his eyes onto yours in an instant.
Hatori shakes his head, brushing off the question. But when he glances up, he sees you watching him with a quiet concern that makes his chest tighten.
“Are you feeling okay?” you ask softly, your voice laced with genuine care.
“I’m fine,” he replies, his tone measured. But the truth is, he feels anything but fine.
The evening continues, with Shigure and Ayame carrying most of the conversation. You join in here and there, your laughter like a melody that Hatori finds himself clinging to. He stays mostly silent, his thoughts too tangled to untangle.
It’s only after dinner, when Shigure retreats to his study and Ayame bids an overly dramatic farewell, that you and Hatori are left alone in the living room. The atmosphere shifts, quieter, more intimate. You’re seated on the couch, your legs tucked beneath you, while he stands near the window, his gaze fixed on the garden outside.
“Hatori,” you say gently, breaking the silence. “What’s on your mind? You’ve been quiet tonight.”
He hesitates, the weight of your question pressing against him. How can he possibly put his feelings into words when he’s still struggling to make sense of them himself?
“It’s nothing,” he says finally, though the words feel hollow.
You frown, clearly unconvinced. “You know you don’t have to keep everything to yourself, right? I’m here if you need someone to talk to.”
Your words are a lifeline, and for a moment, he considers taking it. But vulnerability doesn’t come easily to him. Instead, he deflects. “Shigure was particularly annoying tonight.”
You laugh softly. “He’s always annoying. That’s part of his charm.”
Hatori’s lips twitch in the faintest hint of a smile, but it doesn’t last. The conversation lulls, and the silence that follows is heavy with unspoken words.
After a moment, you rise from the couch and cross the room to stand beside him. The proximity is both comforting and disarming. You don’t press him further, but your presence alone feels like an invitation—to let down his guard, to let you in.
“Do you ever think about the past?” he asks suddenly, surprising even himself with the question.
“Sometimes,” you reply, your tone thoughtful. “But I try not to dwell on it too much. It’s easy to get stuck in what-ifs.”
He nods, his gaze still fixed on the garden. “I envy that about you. Your ability to move forward.”
“You can, too, you know,” you say softly. “It’s not easy, but it’s possible.”
Your words settle over him like a balm, your voice so comforting that he forgets that numb feeling in his stomach for a second. He turns to look at you, really look at you. The way your eyes meet his, full of understanding and something else, something he’s afraid to name, something he’d never speculates about, makes his heart stumble.
“I’m not sure I know,” he finally admits, his voice barely above a whisper.
You smile, and it’s the kind of smile that feels like sunlight breaking through a storm.
What if you get hurt though?
Hatori can’t help but shake his head, breaking his gaze away from you. No, he can’t allow that to happen. He can’t come this close to you. What if he hurts you? Or what if you don’t feel the same way about him? Why would someone like you fall for him in the first place? You, known and loved by countless people, secretly admired by someone like Shigure as well. There’s no way you’d actually fall for him, right?
“You don’t have to figure it out alone.”
Gently, you place your hand on top of his. But instead of welcoming the warmth of your palm, he jerks up in his seat and leaves without saying another word.
The days following the incident were unbearable - for you and for Hatori, though he would never admit it out loud. He avoided you with a determination that bordered on cruelty. Every time you tried to reach out, he found an excuse to slip away. He didn’t answer your calls, didn’t allow you to visit him, didn’t even text you back when you begged for a single sign of life. Not even Shigure and Ayame were able to drag him out of this hole. Hatori hated himself for hurting you, for pulling away when all he wanted was to be close to you. But the fear of losing you, of ruining your life just like Kana’s, was just too much to bear.
It’s for the best, he told himself so often that he lost count on that little walk alone. Staying in his apartment meant getting reminded of all the times you visited him and sat on that one chair while sipping tea out of your own personal mug no one else is allowed to use. He needed to get out there, needed some fresh air to calm his mind.
Not even this warm summer day is able to comfort him, though. Not when every beautiful flower on his way reminds him of you, not when he imagines you in all those dresses displayed in the shopping windows.
Not when you’re standing just a few feet away from him with Shigure by your side.
Shigure and
you?
There you are, walking beside Shigure, holding an ice cream cone and laughing at something he said. The sound of your laughter, so free and light, hits him like a punch to the gut. Shigure, ever the charmer, leans in closer than necessary, his expression playful as he licks his own ice cream.
Hatori’s heart twists painfully, hands balling into tight fists on their own. He doesn’t have the right to feel jealous, no right to claim you when he’s done nothing but pushing you away.
But watching Shigure, so at ease with you, stirs something primal in him, feelings he tried to drown multiple times already. The thought of losing you - to anyone, but especially to Shigure – becomes unbearable.
Like in trance, he steps back, away from the scene that might make him lose his mind. No, he can’t feel like this about you, he can’t allow himself to be jealous when you’re not even his. All he did those past weeks was pushing you away. You’re not his, you’ll never be.
Hatori slams his door shut harder than necessary before gliding down the cool wood.
What is he supposed to do now?
-later-
You’re sitting in your small apartment, trying to distract yourself from the ache in your chest. The ice cream with Shigure had been nice, a kind effort of him to break you away from your train of thought,  but it doesn’t erase the sadness you feel over Hatori’s sudden distance. What went wrong? Was it something you said, something you did? Was it because you tried to cheer him up by holding his hand that one evening? You didn’t really think about it twice, just tried to cheer him up when it was clear that he’s upset

You can’t understand what went wrong. And it hurts more than you want to admit.
A knock at your door breaks through your thoughts. Did Shigure forget something or is he here to look after you. Maybe Tohru wanted to pay you a visit-
“Hatori?” you breathe out, your voice laced with surprise.
“What are you doing here?”
For a moment, he doesn’t say anything while you try to process the stinging fact that he’s really here. He simply looks at you, his eyes searching yours as if trying to find the courage he needs.
Then, in a voice thick with emotion, he mutters, “Can I come in?”
Your mind goes blank, lips not able to move. He’s really here. He didn’t forget about you. He wants to
talk?
Like in trance, you step aside, letting him enter. The air between you is heavy with tension as he stands in your living room, his tall frame seeming out of place in the cozy little space you can afford. You wait, unsure of what to say, as he struggles to find the words himself.
Finally, he turns to you, his gaze intense.
“I owe you an apology.”
“For what?” you mumble softly, though you already know the answer.
“For avoiding you. For pushing you away. For being
a coward.”
His voice is steady, but you can see the vulnerability in his eyes, the way his hands clench at his sides.
“I thought I was protecting you. From me. From my life. But I see now that I was only protecting myself.”
Your heart aches at his words. Is this really how he feels about everything? Does he really think he’s a threat, a burden for you?
“Hatori, you don’t have to-”
“I do,” he interrupts, his tone firm.
“Because I can’t keep doing this. I can’t keep pretending that I don’t
”
He trails off, taking a deep breath.
“That I don’t feel something for you. Something I’ve been too afraid to admit for a long time.”
Your breath catches in your throat. Is he trying to say that

“Hatori
”
“I’m in love with you. I have been for longer than I care to admit. But I was so afraid. Afraid of hurting you. Afraid of losing you. Afraid that you couldn’t feel the same way”, he suddenly blurts out.
You stare at him, your heart pounding in your chest. This can’t be real, right? Did he really ignore you because he thought he’d hurt or lose you. Did he really just say that he loves you? Him, the man you’ve kept your eye on for years by now?
“You thought I didn’t feel the same?”
He hesitates, the doubt still etched into his features.
“Why would you? You could have anyone. Someone without all the
baggage I carry.”
Tears prick at the corners of your eyes as you step closer to him. Just the thought of him feeling this way, of him suppressing his feeling because of something like that

“Hatori, you’re the one I want. You’ve always been the one”, you reply with trembling voice.
For a moment, he simply looks at you, as if he can’t quite believe what he’s hearing. Then, slowly, he reaches out, his hand brushing against yours before taking it in his own.
“You
really mean it?”
“Of course I do!”, you breathe out while clinging onto his hand for what feels like dear life.
“But I didn’t want to rush you, especially after those past weeks. I felt like you don’t see me that way. And after what happened to Kana, I wasn’t sure if you’d give me a chance
”
“I’m sorry for all the pain I caused you. I don’t want to run anymore. I want to be with you, if you’ll have me.”
You smile through your tears, wrapping your arms around his arm the way you always imagined. Even though you’re not able to hug him the way he’d deserve it, you pour your heart and soul in this little moment. That moment you’ve been imagining in your head over and over again. That moment that fell apart in your mind those past weeks.
“I’ve been waiting for you to say that.”
Hatori buries his face in your hair as the weight of his fears finally lifts. For the first time in a long time, he feels like he can breathe. And as you stand there together, he promises to himself that he will do whatever it takes to make you happy, to protect the love you’ve both found.
Because with you, he knows he can finally heal. Now he finally knows you're more than a friend.

Kyoya Ootori x fem!reader (kind of Gen)
summary: Middle school 3rd year Kyoya Ootori lives through another mundane day. Bored from the dull lectures, he distracts himself, scanning the classroom and sees Y/n. Compelled by the elegant scene he is witnessing, he picks up his pen and starts sketching. Could it be that our young Shadow King is displaying an innocent act of fascination, with maybe even a twinge of affection for the girl?
word count: 1.8k words
warnings: none!!
published: 10/20/24
author’s note: I liked the idea of exploring the version of Kyoya that was more expressive because he was just developing back in middle school. Also always wanted to see the artistic side of him depicted more, cuz even if we don’t see it besides his solo episode, it exists! Anyways, this one is more of a gen fic rather than a romantic one but I’m sure you can see it can lead to something much more, it’s cute!! Hope this one brings a smile to your face like it did for me â˜ș

The clock tower chimed, signaling the next set of classes after the lunch break. The students of Ouran Middle School’s 3rd year Class A break up their fleeting conversations and file back to their assigned seats, each readying themselves to endure another few grueling hours of class discussions and worksheet completion.
The day had been relatively mundane for Kyoya, aside from the occasional disruption of his peace by none other than his lovable moron of a best friend, Tamaki, there was nothing in his day that particularly stood out to him. The topics tackled during class, he understood right away, he had no homework or projects that had to be done, and so the only thing that was worth looking forward to was
Well, if he thought about it, he wouldn’t come up with anything.
Suffice to say, Kyoya was bored.
“Ms. Jounoichi, kindly read the 3rd paragraph out for us.” The teacher in front instructed.
“Yes, Sir.” Ayame swiftly replied as she stood from her seat and recited the passage from her textbook.
Out of sheer disinterest from the topic, Kyoya passively listened and let the other half of his mind ponder on any vanishing thought.
His eyes traveled from across the room aimlessly, mindlessly looking for something to distract him from his boredom. His gaze eventually landed on the window on the other side of the room and onto Y/n L/n’s desk.
Kyoya was never close to Y/n. Even though they’ve been classmates since he’d first attended Ouran Academy, both of them had always been reserved and quiet, and so neither of them had made efforts to get acquainted with the other.
It remained that way until their dynamic drastically shifted that very year when Tamaki waltzed into their lives.
The guy seemed to behold a certain power to connect with even the most difficult people. Kyoya could attest to this, as he himself was brought out by the bubbling blonde. Y/n was similarly reached out by Tamaki and soon enough, the trio formed an iconic friendship.
But even when that was the case, Kyoya and Y/n were still closed off from each other. Tamaki was clearly the only common ground between them.
Kyoya was comfortable with the arrangement. Though, he knew that Y/n was starting to make moves to genuinely befriend him; He wasn't ready to break down his walls to a friend of a friend just yet, nor was he willing to acknowledge that it was his own stubbornness that’s causing this strain.
His thoughts simmered down, focusing instead on observing her. He noticed she looked identically disinterested, judging by how she silently tapped her fingers against her blank notebook, as she drew out shallow breaths and watched the front with glossed eyes.
She was sitting perfectly still, so much so that one can even mistake the scene he was witnessing with a framed image.
As Kyoya continued, he paid attention to how perfectly the lighting from the window next to her illuminated her features.
The afternoon sun shone on her like a spotlight. From her side profile, the light that bounced off of her hair almost formed a halo over the crown of her head. Her eyes radiated, its color brightened by the day. Her nose, casted a tiny shadow over the side accentuating the contour of her cheeks. Her lips, charmingly pinkish and rounded. Stray hairs peeking from the sides of her head glinted like mirrors, perfectly framing her delicate face.
He wasn’t going to admit it to himself, but it was indeed a stunning sight.
Turning back to his own desk, Kyoya casually picks up his neglected pen and his unused notebook, bringing the stationary up closer to his chest, turning back to Y/n’s direction and begins sketching.
The nib of the pen gently glides across the smooth surface of the paper, creating thin lines that comprise the outline of his drawing. His eyes slowly switch between the notebook and the subject, carefully examining and then applying, repeating this process a number of times in an attempt to capture the scene with flawless accuracy.
He continues on for the remainder of the class. Jotting down all the little details with intention, his mind completely detached from the lecture. He was focused, dedicated to completing his render.
Eventually the end of the day approaches, their last class concludes, they bid their teacher farewell, and the class is dismissed.
Kyoya peeks at the portrait of Y/n he made for a final time before packing his belongings. He reaches for his school bag and grabs his notebook to shut it closed but then it’s unexpectedly pulled out of his hands.
Surprised, he looks to his right, looking up at the culprit and sees Tamaki.
“Tamaki. What are you-“ Kyoya starts, questioning him for his actions but is cut off.
“I didn’t know you could draw so we’ll
” Tamaki admires the drawing, voiced uncharacteristically hushed in his awe.
“Hey Y/n!” Before Kyoya could explain, Tamaki skips happily toward his other best friend on the other side of the room while flailing the notebook in the air.
At this point, Kyoya knew it was best to not interfere with the blonde’s antics, knowing he’ll just be putting himself in an even more troublesome spot if he showed any apprehensiveness toward the situation. Even so, he can’t help but feel flustered and irritated. He could do nothing now but stay silent, gauge her reaction, and come up with a logical explanation for his actions—as he himself couldn’t pin down what exactly compelled him to draw her.
“Y/n!!”
Y/n placed her pencil case back on her desk, turning to the voice that called out her name.
It was Tamaki of course. She grinned immediately as she saw him enthusiastically skipping his way over, waving a pocket-sized notebook over his head.
“Tamaki,” She fondly greeted him. She gives him a questioning look afterward, prompting him to say whatever he needed to.
“Look at this, is it just wonderful?” He handed the aforementioned notebook to her, helping her flip through the pages to find what exactly he wanted to show her.
“What is it, Tamaki?” She inquired while he frantically flipped through the pages.
“Hold on a second,” He scrunched his face in determination, “Ah! Here! Take a look.”
Y/n eyes fall onto her sketched portrait, lightly touching over the lines and examining the little details as her eyes widen, mouth opens, and cheeks flush in admiration.
Tamaki smiles at her reaction, throwing in a little complement at how cute he finds it.
“So, what do you think?” He beams and fixes his position, moving from her right side and stands behind her, propping his hands on her shoulder, leaning forward, and placing his chin on her head to get a good look at it too.
“It’s stunning, Tamaki
Did you make this?” She peers up, eyes sparkling in anticipation.
“Not me, Kyoya did!” Tamaki gives her a cheerful smile, letting her turn to Kyoya’s direction to call him over, only for them to see that the raven was already making his way over to them.
“Kyoya!” Tamaki jumps and brings his friend into a hearty embrace, earning an irritated glare and sigh of annoyance from him.
Tamaki backs away slightly and pouts and whines about his mon ami’s reaction.
Y/n looks up from the notebook and looks at Kyoya in a mix of confusion, surprise, and gratitude.
Trying his hardest to restrain the growing warmth traveling up his cheeks from the unexpected, positive reception of his work and initial embarrassment that came with it. Kyoya breaks the silence,
“I noticed you were sitting perfectly still for a while, and so I thought it would make a fine artwork.” Replying in a nonchalant manner, saying it as if he didn’t just indirectly compliment her.
“O-Oh..! Thank you, Ootori
” Y/n replies after a few awkward moments.
“It’s nothing to feel gratitude for, I was simply keeping myself occupied while the lecture went on.” He added cooly, pushing up his glasses trying to sound as convincing as he could.
He brings a hand up to take back his notebook wishing to make a quick escape but before he could reach it, but Y/n pulls it out of his reach. Startled by the sudden movement, he shoots her a questioning look.
“Wait!” She hesitates, “Is it alright if I take a picture of it? It’s masterful, I really like it.” She smiles sheepishly.
Even more baffled from her response, he says nothing for a few seconds, processing it all.
“Don’t bother, you can keep it
” He follows with a hushed voice.
She’s visibly taken aback by what he says but smiles at him nonetheless, joyfully thanking him as she proceeds to rip the page from the notebook, storing it between the pages of her own, and hands his notebook back.
“How generous of you, my friend!” Tamaki latches onto Kyoya again, throwing an arm around his shoulders and sways him from side to side.
“You don’t need to mention it,” He replies quietly, looking at the ground, lightly shoving Tamaki off of him and strolls out of the scene.
Y/n and Tamaki watch as he packs up and leaves, waving him goodbye as he exits the classroom, finally making his escape.
Unknown to the two, Kyoya was trying his best not to show the blush he knew was forming on his cheeks. He was nitpicking every word he exchanged with her just moments before, unbearably embarrassed and conflicted about his flusteredness, being equally confused about his own reaction.
He sighs to himself and shakes his head in exasperation, speed walking out of the building.
Back in the classroom, Tamaki and Y/n silently stared at the door he exited from.
“I never thought he would—“ Y/n started,
“Kyoya shows his care in his own way. He may not be the most expressive person in the world but he can be the most caring when he tries. Even if he doesn’t always outwardly show it.” Tamaki asserts, eyes still trained on the doorway where Kyoya left. Y/n surveys him, staying silent.
“This just proves that he does care about you, otherwise he wouldn’t spend his time working on that drawing of yours, would he? You have nothing to worry about my dear, just give him some time and he’ll open up to you eventually,” Tamaki smiles affectionately at her, patting her head and then her shoulders.
“Just have to be patient with him,” With that he leaves to retrieve his own things, waiting by the doorway to walk her out of class.
“You’re right
” Y/n huffs, as they stroll out the doorway.
“He’s quite difficult isn’t he, Tamaki.” She sighs, relaxing as she recalls Tamaki’s words.
‘It may not seem like much, but it’s a good start.’
She smiles and blushes ever so slightly at her thought, walking with a hop in her step as she and Tamaki leave the school building, content with the developments of the day.

Akane coughed again as she finished putting the last shirt in the washing machine and turned it on.
She had been feeling less than stellar ever since she woke up, but a sickness was not going to stop her from performing her maid duties, it was her duty and her pleasure after all (especially doing things for you) so she wanted to keep doing them even while sick
She wiped some sweat from her forehead and covered her mouth as she coughed again
"All right I'll just leave this here......what do I have to do now?"
"Akane"
The ultimate maid quickly turned towards the voice that called her, ready to fulfill whatever requests it may have asked but was surprised to see you standing there with a disappointed look
"Y-y/n! What do you need?"
"For you to take a break and rest"
"Huh?"
"Ayame told me you were sick"
"I-i'm not sick just a bit- *cough* *cough*"
Akane continued coughing like this for a while. You immediately went over to help her and brought her a glass of water that she quickly drank
"T-thanks dear"
"It's nothing.....so what was that about not being sick?"
"OK maybe I am a bit sick but it's nothing to worry about, I can still-
"Let me stop you right there akane, you need to take a break, I know you love doing tasks and helping others but you need to take some time for yourself or you'll get worse"
"But are you sure everyone will be all right without my help?"
"Of course, you're a great help but the class is not gonna collapse because you took a day off, plus I won't forgive you if you get even more sick because of overworking"
The thought of you getting mad at her made akane shudder and cough again, although that was probably just her sickness
"A-alright, I suppose a break wouldn't hurt anyone"
"Great, let's go to your dorm"
"Ok should i-"
Suddenly akane was literally swept off her feet as you started carrying her bridal style causing her to blush heavily
"Y-y/n!"
"I can't let you walk when you're this sick now can I?"
"I can walk perfectly fine"
"Yeah.....but I just wanted to carry you"
"......t-then I guess I don't mind"
You walked towards akane's dorm with her in your arms and immediately put her to bed and removed her maid headpiece to check her temperature
"Yeah, you're definitely hot.....and not in the way you always are"
"Hehe, thanks"
"Stay there and relax and I'll get everything"
You went to grab a cold cloth and placed it on her forehead to help with the fever
"Are you feeling better?"
"A bit, the cold is lessening the heat"
"That's good, I'm going to make tea, how do you like yours?"
"O-oh you're gonna make tea for me?"
"Of course, it's to help you"
"Thanks so much! Milk and 1 sugar please"
"Coming right up"
You turned on the TV to akane's favorite show to keep her occupied while you made the tea. When you finished you put it on a tray that you placed on the nightstand near her bed
"Here's your tea love"
"Thanks sweetie"
She slowly got up, it was clear she was fatigued from all the work she did, and started drinking the tea
"This is so good"
"Really?"
"Yes, it's great and it's not just because you made it"
"Well what can I say? I learned from the best"
"Hehe"
"Seriously, I think you make tea for me so much that your skills just rubbed off on me"
"I'm glad, this is really great"
"Then tell me if you want more, I can make a second cup whenever you want me to"
"You're too kind"
"No, you deserve all of this, plus I know that If I was sick you'd do all of this for me....and probably way more knowing you"
"I can't say you're wrong about that"
When akane finished the tea you put the tray back on the counter and quickly made your way to her bed again
"OK so from everything it seems like a normal flu, so it's not too serious"
"That's good"
"So I have to go buy medicine, that's OK for you right?"
"Of course"
"Thanks, and then we can spend the entire evening together"
"Thanks so much, I really can't wait"
"Even if we can't cuddle"
As soon as you said that you saw akane look down a bit disappointed
".....we really can't?"
"Unfortunately not, I know you really love cuddling but I'll get sick if we do now"
"O-of course, I'm not trying to force you, your health is my priority as well....it's just a bit disappointing"
"Well don't worry, even if we can't cuddle I'll stay near you at all times ok?"
"....thanks really"
"Aaaaand when you get healthy you'll get all of the cuddles you missed out on"
"Really? I have to get healthy fast then"
You giggled and went to kiss your girlfriend on the cheek, a simple cheek kiss couldn't hurt that much after all
"I certainly hope you do, I'll go now, love you"
"I love you too darling"

SAKATA GINTOKI.
Tumblr media
how you fall in love.
you were facing a large dilemma and had nowhere to go for a solution and are directed to the Yorozuya's doorstep
you are in denial about it but it was love at first sight, you know you have gone insane when a man guzzling down strawberry milk is attractive to you
maybe you just need to get laid
or maybe just maybe you can't look away from his neck, the way his adam's apple bobs as he gulps it down like water and how you can see his chest exposed a little with his shabby yukata
or the way he says "i'll handle it" knowing full well he won't but you can't help but trust him
your confession.
"the jobs over. you can get rid of me now."
that's the problem. you don't want to leave. you're on the back of his scooter since he offered to drop you home
after all, he caused more trouble than the job was in the first place, where your main job split off into mini jobs which you had to tackle along with the main job???
honestly, you're just happy that you spent more time with him before you had to part ways
"i didn't know you were that scared of scooters." you were gripping tightly as if you never wanted to let go of him
"your scooter might just break down. better to take you down with me"
is what you meant to say but instead you said
"i like you, Yorozuya-san. i like you a lot."
he actually falls off the scooter and both of you tumble in a heap together, thankfully uninjured apart from the pain of the intense silence that descends
you're both panting loudly and are too afraid to break the silence
"i'll...walk the rest of the way" more than him, you want to save yourself the ache
with a heavy heart you scramble to your feet, ready to wallow and drag yourself back to your house
"wait up. if you think this is going to be payment i need to correct you! you need to pay real money, tricks won't work..."
his voice falters. your eyes are clear and barely containing the emotion brimming in them.
he has to answer you
his confession.
"don't look at me like that. help me up."
you snap out of your trance and reach a hand out with your heart beating rapidly
he grasps your hand, wrapping his fingers around you. you try not to linger too much on the touch, tighten your grip and pull.
the opposite force pulls you forward and you fall to the floor and are being pulled into his lap
not pushed away not at all
"now then, there's a lot of strawberry milk you owe me for all this trouble."
that's as much as a confession as you will get from him and it's more than enough, more than you ever thought you would get. he holds you as tears stream down your face silently.
alternate// rejection.
he falters starting and stopping his sentence multiple times, struggling to find the right words.
you want to snap at him in frustration, that he just cut to the chase and be done with it
you remind yourself that this is difficult for him too
he brushes the dust from his soft, white hair that you won't even get to sink your hands into nor wind around your fingers
when he looks you in the eye, you know his answer and you know what he'll say
"i will always accept you as a prized customer, -sama!"
you give a shaky smile, hoping that the darkness of the night is enough to hide the tears falling down your face and you walk away with a taste like rotten strawberries on your lips
Tumblr media
HIJIKATA TOSHIRO
Tumblr media
how you fall in love.
your boss is relentless, sending you out on random errands all day, thinking of you as his personal maid more than an employee
today you're on your fifth cigarette run of the day, buying for the entire office
the usual vending machine is out-of-service so you go to the trashy one which is a long walk away
once you get there, you see the rusty exterior and sigh, thinking of how many dimes the machine will eat before actually spitting out the cigarette box
you also see a man, casually leaning on the other side of the machine smoking. a man you recognise as the demon vice captain of the shensengumi.
you freeze in your steps, scared as if you committed a crime, when in fact you are innocent
he stubs out his cigarette on the side of the machine and tosses it. it lands on your arm and you yelp in pain. he looks startled and slowly realises what happened.
"ahh, i... miss...um..."
why is the police officer scared in this situation? you speak up, clutching your slightly stinging hand "it's not a bother, officer. i was wondering if you can help me with this machine? the one i frequent is out of service and my boss needs me to buy some. how many coins will this machine eat?"
your simple request with easy instructions activates 'officer helping civilian mode' and he goes ahead and shakes the machine violently. a box of the worst brand that your boss will curse you for, Mayoboros with the mayonnaise filter falls out.
you stare at him as he hands you the box. your voice catches in your throat and you're instantly smitten. he's devilishly handsome. you notice his face has a shallow cut on it.
"here," you remove the backing from a bandage in your bag and place it on his cheek. you're on your tip toes and his breath fans your forehead. "thank you for the cigarettes, officer."
"hijikata toshiro at your service miss, your boss will appreciate those cigarettes."
your boss, in fact did not appreciate them. you tune out the yelling by recalling how close you were to him.
your confession.
you frequent this rusty vending machine even though the previous good one is back in service. you just want to see him again and again. without fail, he's always there and you wonder whether is it because he's just a nicotine fiend or because he wants to see you too
immediately you banish that thought out of your head.
you arrive again and as usual he's leaning against the side of the machine but this time he has bigger bandages covering his face, neck and body
he moves to shake the machine like he does but you stop him, stilling him by placing your hands on his shoulder. he moves away from the vending machine, quietly looking at you and waiting, a cigarette dangling from the side of his mouth.
you show him the box of cigarettes sticking out of your pocket and gulp the lump in your throat. it is now or never. you have to, need to know his answer.
"i like being around you. i like being around you a little too much." the smoke from his cigarette is fanning your face making you feel more light-headed. "i want to be around you more."
your sentences are awkward and you couldn't look him in the eye while you could feel his eyes on you the entire time.
his confession.
he takes a puff of his cigarette. you watch the smoke curl up in the air, bracing yourself for the worst. he shifts around uncomfortably, awkwardly closing the distance between you and then just as quickly moving away.
you dare to look at his face to see the calmness is gone. pink is dusting his cheeks under the bandages and the image of the cool police officer cracks. he looks so adorable trying to bid for time by smoking slower.
"i need to leave for the office soon."
hijikata was always a man of few words. he placed his hand on the top of your head and ruffled your hair gently, sighing the entire time. words were escaping him.
"would you want to get dinner with me after work?"
you expected a lot of responses but this one exceeded your expectations and was the best one
"absolutely!" you beam and he gives you a small smile in response to your big toothy grin
in another unexpected moment, he presses a kiss to the top of your head and you just melt on the spot, now it's your turn to be a blushing mess
"see you tonight"
alternate// rejection.
hijikata and you maintain eye contact. you can see he feels the same way. but something is holding him back.
he swings his shenshingumi jacket over his shoulder, never moving his gaze away from your face.
"i get into a lot of trouble. wouldn't want a pretty thing like you to worry over me."
you don't want to understand how he can reciprocate the same feelings and yet still flat out reject you. you don't want to understand his reasons.
you especially do not want to think about how this might be the last time he decides to see you since you decided to reveal your feelings. you knew the risk this carried and it blew up all over your face. a strong wave of self-hatred washes over you. if only you hadn't confessed, you would have been able to see him everyday. maybe if you confessed at a later day, things might have turned out differently.
he snaps you out of the loop, placing the jacket around your shoulders. you didn't realise you were shuddering from the weight of the situation, from the effort of reeling back the strong wave of negative emotions being set off inside you
you pull it close to you absently. hiijikata closes the gap between the two of you, lightly, barely brushing his lips against yours. before he could get carried away, he pressed a few chaste kisses on your forehead and temples
there was another reason to him ending it and you respect him enough to watch him walk away just as quickly as he had closed the distance
he left his jacket behind and sure enough there's a cigarette and lighter in the pocket. you light your first and last cigarette of the time being and wonder as you cough loudly, the smoke which is the only reason there are fat tears on your cheeks and your throat is scratchy
will you wait?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
KATSURA KOTARO
how you fell in love.
someone left their kasa hat at your store so you decide to give it to the local lost and found when the owner doesn't come to pick it up from your store for over a month now
all you remember is the man rushing into the store, taking his hat off, letting long black hair down which mesmerised you, wearing a ridiculous plastic moustache disguise and pretending to peruse your goods. you were planning to kick him out despite how pretty he was since this eye candy was just being a nuisance.
before you could say anything he said "stay calm."
a bunch of dangerous street samurai swarmed your shop and you couldn't in fact "stay calm," looking at their swords, thinking of the damage they could do. this shop took a lot of money to make and keep running and you didn't want it ripped to shreds
thankfully, there were no other customers so you played dumb and said "welcome! how may i help you gentlemen?" hoping that your fear didn't show
they looked directly at the only other person in the store the "stay calm" man and you knew a fight would break out. bracing for the worst and calculating the damages bill (more scary than all these men combined), they said "that man did not have a moustache. he's managed to escape!"
you are dumbfounded that the disguise worked. once they all left, the man took the hat and 'disguise' off. "do you want to buy anything?" you ask. "no but i owe you a favour."
"then get out! don't bring trouble to my shop!”
since then, you haven't seen him and thought he would come back for his hat. on the way to the lost and found, you unexpectedly bump into him again.
this time he is wearing an afro. on top of his long hair.
"your hat, sir. you left it in my shop." he takes it from you and bows deeply, walking you back to the shop. "stay safe," you want to scream that he's the shadiest character ever but smile.
after that, you keep meeting him in random 'disguises,' which have a 100% success rate of working.
your confession.
you don't enjoy the brief meetings and clashes. you want to know more about him. "remember you said that you owe me a favour?" you say, heat rising to your cheeks.
this time, he's only wearing sunglasses and his signature hat. you have seen his posters everywhere KATSURA THE TERRORIST. well, he makes a pretty shitty runaway criminal but there must be some magic in those disguises.
"yes, in fact you can ask me two things. you gave my hat back to me."
you didn't want to bring up the fact that he should owe you more since you saved him from being found multiple times by swallowing your pride and playing the hysterical woman card
there are, more important things you want to ask him
"one should be enough. can we get ramen?"
you thought he would be dense and not understand what you were getting at, so then you would have used the second favour
his confession.
you flick the end of his hat, startling him and knocking it sideways. he totally was hiding being flustered under the hat and worrying at the edge of his lips.
"i...don't exactly know about timings. it's always random."
"i can wait, then you can pay me back again for waiting. my shop can be your home."
blush colours your cheeks as you realise what you just said. you want to spontaneously combust. you move your head, hoping your hair falls and covers you enough.
katsura moves the hair out of the way and beams at her. “i know of a good ramen place. why wait let’s go now.”
alternate// rejection.
no he didn’t get it.
he considers your offer way too seriously. he didn’t get the underlying message.
“sure. let’s go now. there’s a place around here.”
you didn’t get your answer but you might say something at some point during the ramen eating.
he stops you in front of ‘Hokuto Shinken ramen shop’ with the sign falling off. a blonde lady comes outside, throwing a pan at katsura, who promptly dodges.
“i brought a customer here! this doesn’t bode well for you!” the lady looks annoyed and you can’t blame her. it is annoying to have katsura in your shop with all sorts of people looking for him all the time.
“that doesn’t mean you bring yourself too!”
you’re glad katsura didn’t get what you were trying to say. you didn’t know there already was someone else since you barely knew anything about him. you start walking away, trying to ignore the tightness in your chest.
“wait up! forget this fool! i’m nishiki and i’ll bring you the best ramen you’ve ever had!”
“the soba is much better,” katsura said only to get hit in the head. you think about slithering away and making an excuse but instead you decide to stay.
“a bowl of ramen sounds divine.”

thirty — do what you do
Tumblr media
fuck ur instincts — suna x reader & atsumu x reader
you and suna are just fooling around—so why does he care so much when you start falling in love with someone else?
previous — masterlist — next
word count. 1.5k content. swearing, many feelings
Tumblr media
You’ve never felt so exposed in your whole life. You’re not even doing anything, just sitting in a coffee shop wearing your/Kiyoko’s skirt and a sweater to stave off the cold, waiting for Suna who you’re honestly not sure is going to come.
After you got his text asking to talk, you decided to go for it. What’s the worst that could happen at this point?
You asked him where. He sent you a location. You saw it and wanted to rip your heart out—but you went anyway.
The funny part in all of this is that he probably doesn’t even remember this place. He probably doesn’t realize what being here, sitting in this chair is doing to you. You could never read his mind and you guess that he could never read yours either. As they say, all is fair in love and war.
“Y/N,” he says as he comes to your table. He looks a little out of breath and you can safely say he’s looked better, but he doesn’t look too horrible. Not as bad as you at least.
You smile at him and motion for him to sit down. “You okay?”
He nods, sliding into the chair. “Yeah,” he tells you. “I just got out of training.”
“Oh,” you say. “How’s that going?”
He shrugs. “Better.”
Suna Rintarou, a man of many words indeed.
“So,” you bite the bullet, “you wanted to talk.”
“Right.” He nods. “I did.”
“Listen, Suna, I don’t know if this is such a good idea—”
“I know,” he tells you. “I just
I wanted to talk to you. I didn’t like the way things worked out between the two of us and everything that happened after, it didn’t—it didn’t feel too good.”
“I didn’t feel good?” you ask. “That’s it? You want to rehash everything because it didn’t feel good?”
Suna shakes his head. “Just listen.”
You relent. “I’m listening.”
He takes a deep breath and looks away. You don’t know if he’s about to laugh or cry or shit himself, maybe all three, who knows?
“I meant what I said,” he tells you, “I didn’t say it at the right time and the right place and I didn’t do anything right—but I love you. So fucking much.”
You purse your lips. “I know.”
Suna looks at you like he’s pleading. “I really don’t why, but I want you to know I was being serious,” he says. “I was being selfish and fucked up—I shouldn’t have told you, I know. Not when you were with Atsumu. Not when things were so good between the two of you. Not when Ayame was there—I mean I fucking humiliated her, I treated her like she was nothing. But I meant it. I do love you, I really do.”
“I know,” you repeat, nodding. “I think I’ve always known.”
He stares at you with wide eyes. You can see the thoughts flash in his head, his entirety suddenly an open book, his mind completely clear to you: How could he have been so stupid? “Why didn’t you say anything?”
You shrug helplessly. “What could I have done?”
“You could’ve talked some sense into me,” he insists. “Made me realize that I—”
“That wasn’t my job,” you tell him. “That’s not fair and you know it. You can’t put that all on me.”
“Fine,” he concedes. “But you could’ve told me how you felt at least. This goes both ways, you know.”
You look down at your hands. “I know,” you say. “And I did love you.” And it breaks your heart to say it because you know it’s true. “But I loved you the way a moth loves the flame. The moment I got too close, you would hurt me and you wouldn’t even know it. You just did it because it’s what you do.”
He opens his mouth to speak, but you cut him off.
“And I don’t blame you,” you tell him. “And I’m sorry for my part in it. But I couldn’t do it—I couldn’t tell you how I felt, not after you’d stung me so many times. Not when all I ever did was love you and all you did was break my heart.”
You can feel yourself crumbling. The facade you’d kept up for your entire relationship collapsing around you. It startles Suna more than you can imagine. This wasn’t the way this was supposed to go. He doesn’t know what he was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t this.
“Is that what you wanted me to say?” you ask. “Would that have made you happy? Would that have felt good?”
He shakes his head. “No, Y/N, please,” he says. He doesn’t even know what he’s saying at this point, his mouth has run off without him “I was stupid, I know. I didn’t treat you well—but I just didn’t want to lose you.”
You wipe your eyes, suddenly feeling very self-conscious about breaking down in public. “Do you know where we are?”
He frowns. “What do you mean?”
“This place,” you say, looking around the little coffee shop. “This is where we had our first date—or at least the first time we ever went out together in public.”
Suna’s eyes widen. “I-I didn’t know that.”
You nod. “That’s okay,” you tell him. “I was standing there,” you point at a spot on the other side of the window, “and you were there,” you point at the table near the door, “and you were kissing this girl. Just another pretty, perfect girl—the kind you like. And I just wanted to disappear, but I didn’t. I went to you and acted like it was fine, because it was supposed to be fine. Even if I was completely crushed.”
He can feel his heart in his throat, watching as you fall apart in front of him. All he wants right now is for it to stop. He’ll do anything to make it stop.
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
“The saddest part is, after all that, there’s still a piece of me that loves you,” you say. And he wants you to stop so bad. Just stop. Not like this, don’t do this. “But I know I shouldn’t. And it’s just so
hard. And heavy. And bad. And I can’t live like this anymore.”
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
“I’m sorry,” Suna says. He reaches his hand across the table and holds yours as you look down and cry. “I’m sorry.”
He watches as you put a hand over your face and sob. He’s never seen you look so small before, so helpless, so vulnerable in the worst way possible.
It hits him right then and there that he lost this fight ages ago. Not to Atsumu. Not to you. But to himself.
He was the only thing that ever stood in his way.
And he lost.
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
He leans over the table and takes your face in his hands. You open your eyes to look at him, the closest the two of you have been in what feels like forever.
“I’m sorry,” he says again, tears slipping out of his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
You sniffle, placing your hands over his. “I’m sorry too.”
The two of you stay there for what feels like hours. Just staring into each other’s eyes, all the hurt and the pain and the love still real and raw. It’s all there, there’s nothing left to give, everything—the lies and the truths—laid out on the table before you.
A carcass for you to weep over.
It's a beautifully terrible picture. Two people who have loved and hurt each other so deeply and irrevocably there’s no way to deny it. Two moths orbiting the flame that is the two of you, a pull deeper than lust or desire, one that can only be love. And one that cannot be love, should never be love again.
You know it. Suna knows it. There’s nothing to return to here, no matter what you might want. You can’t rebuild this, can’t fix it—not if you ever loved each other, not if you still do.
He presses his forehead against yours, your eyes closing as all your tears collide.
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
“Go to him,” he tells you quietly.
“What?”
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
“He loves you in a way I never could,” he says. “He loves you more than anyone could ever deserve. And you may think that’s a bad thing, but he loves you. And that's all that matters."
You pull back, meeting Suna’s eyes again. “Why are you telling me this?”
He smiles, overcome by both sorrow and happiness—happiness for you.
He can do this for you. He owes you this much.
You do what you need to do for the people you love.
“You do what you need to do for the people you love,” he says, wiping your tears away. “Atsumu taught me that.”

Second Choice, Second Chance
Inuyasha X Priestess! Reader
So in this I'm exaggerating Kagome's behavior in this, I do ship Kagome with Inuyasha. Occasionally with Koga, but mostly because I find Ayame somewhat annoying personally. I could rant about it but for the Ayame fans I'm not going to, like I don't hate her but I did want to see her humbled a bit so that she'd pull back her obsessive behavior just a bit.
Tumblr media
(Y/n) sighed as she walked with the group of misfits she called friends, the 18-year-old had been a reincarnation similar to Kagome. Only (Y/n) was a healer, and rather than a well she had fallen through the floor of an old shrine high up in the mountain. The bicolor haired girl had hated her life in her era, her life having been less than ideal. With her hair being 2 colors, (H/C1) on the left and (H/C2) on the right. It often drew unwanted attention, what made it worse was her dual-colored eyes. (E/C1) on the left and (E/C2) on the right. She had always been teased by the younger generation and out casted, the older generation treated he as if she was ill or a demon. So, she had ran away at the age of 16, the dual toned girl going high into the mountains when a storm hit. She took shelter in a shrine but fell through a large hole, even if she wanted to go back through the shrine she couldn't as the one in the feudal era had been destroyed by Naraku.
She has passed through the well before to go get Kagome, and she was able to do so through the sheer power of her soul unlike Kagome who needed at least a shard of the jewel. But she usually preferred staying behind with Inuyasha and the others, she had gotten the garb of a priestess from a priestess in the village at the base of the mountain when she came stumbling down bruised and dirty from the fall and the subsequent wandering around the mountainside the shrine had been on, on day one of being there. Deciding that she wanted to try and at least blend in a little, plus the outfit was rather comfortable. She had spent a lot of time with Inuyasha as of late, he and Kagome had been fighting a lot recently and most of her anger was unreasonable in (Y/n)'s eyes. She and the half demon had grown close, both able to understand each other's pain. (Y/n) also understood how fresh his grief and heart break was, in his mind it had only been at most a few months since he was "betrayed". He had truly loved Kikyo, the pain of their fight worsened by learning the truth behind that day and Kikyo's resurrection. Kagome's pressure only making things worse for Inuyasha, it was as if the girl thought they had an unspoken relationship.
When the group finally made it to Kaede's village, she watched Kagome ride with Sango and Miroku on Kirara's back towards the well. Leaving her to walk with Inuyasha to Kaede's hut. "Hey (Y/n), come with me." Inuyasha began walking towards the woods, the girl quietly following as she figured he wanted to talk about his fight with Kagome. She always had to try and explain things to him, what made it hard was a lot of Kagome's actions could be immature and hard to rationalize to the male. So, after the attempt to explain things is made the two usually said screw it and just had a drink, it being the feudal era no one cared as she was considered plenty old enough.
So, the girl had no problem dipping into the barrel, Inuyasha didn't care one way or the other. They got to their usual spot by the river, Inuyasha moving a rock to reveal a small barrel of sake and 2 cups hidden beneath it in a hole. She could tell by the look on his face that he was in deep thought, so she remained silent and went to her place by the river. It was a large smooth rock, where she would be able to dangle her feet over the edge and her toes would barely touch the water. Not being a true priestess, she was not bound by their rules, really it was just a guise she used. Her abilities were similar to that of a priestess, so it was really the best option to keep people from questioning her.
She lowered her feet into the water, closing her eyes and listening as Inuyasha moved beside her and set the small barrel between them. "So, what did you want to talk about?" She spoke softly and dipped her small sake glass into the barrel, Inuyasha had stayed quiet as he slowly sipped down his glass. "Kagome has just been driving me crazy, I'm starting to think her looking like Kikyo may have been the only thing that truly brought me to her. I was still grieving for Kikyo, and Kagome was someone I had to be around because she broke the sacred jewel, and she could sense it... I think I only loved her out of necessity and heartache, but now that everything's over though..."
He stared deeply at the water, (Y/n) quietly listening to him as she nodded. "It's understandable, somethings aren't meant to be. I mean you two aren't even actually together, you've just done this weird crap since the beginning." She sipped her drink as Inuyasha nodded, sipping at his own before he looked at her. "You know, I don't think I've ever seen you take an interest in anyone since you joined us." Now that made her cheeks heat up, she was quick to down her drink and refill. "There was one guy, but he never once looked at me the way I did him... But he has girl troubles of his own even without me." She hadn't been lying, she had always had an interest in him but between Kikyo and Kagome she never felt there would be room for her in his heart. She knew a part of him at least cared deeply for Kagome, after all she had helped him move on from Kikyo and helped to soften his rough personality.
"I see... It must be painful loving someone who doesn't return it... At first when Kikyo was resurrected, she hated me, it tore me up cause I loved her so much. I guess that's why your smile hasn't been the same for a while... Right?" His words took her by surprise, she never realized anyone had noticed. (Y/n) hadn't been herself for a while, she hated watching Inuyasha and Kagome fight only for him to seek her out for comfort and return to Kagome the moment she was willing to let him back in. With a sigh she chugged down her drink, her cheeks now red from alcohol rather than embarrassment. "Yeah... I just... I love him a lot but... I'm not even sure if I'm really his friend or someone he uses to soothe himself when he's hurt... " Her chest tightened as her eyes welled with tears, she could feel his golden orbs locked on her form.
"Is it Koga!? Just say the word and kill that mangey flea bag!" She was shocked by his words, her small hands wiping her tears away as she shook her head. "No but it's fine, it doesn't matter I'l-" Her sentence was cut short as Inuyasha pinned her down, hands on either side of her head. His claws dug into the dirt as he stared down at her in an intense gaze, anger on his features. "Don't you dare say that! It does matter! He's hurting you and I won't let that happen! I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, you hear me!?" His reddened face was inches from hers, the temptation was so overwhelming that before she knew it her lips were attached to his. He was quick to return the kiss, he was harsh and feverish. The kiss deepening as little fingers tangled in snow white hair, when the kiss broke, they were left breathless, and the half demon rested his forehead against hers.
"I love you (Y/n), for so long I tried to learn to love Kagome, but it always felt like I was with her cause I had to be... But then you came a long and I couldn't help but to love you from the start. That's why it matters, because you matter." The girl felt her heart swell as she kissed him once more, neither noticing the schoolgirl quietly walking away from the scene.

Destiny All Your Own
Hatori Sohma X Fem!Reader
Word Count: 1573
Requested: @hiimagine
Request: Hello, will it be possible to have another hatori imagine? I need more AND Hello would it be possible to do a hatori sohma x reader after the curse broke
Warning: No mention of parents, implied dead or neglectful, death of grandparents, grief
Tumblr media
Hatori hadn’t known what to do with himself after Tohru broke the curse. Everyone else found their person before the curse was broken and were now pursuing their relationships now. Hatori himself had given up the woman that he believed was his only chance at a relationship long ago in the hopes that he could save her. Ayame and Shigure had both attempted to get him to try and find someone that could make him happy but he honestly believed that it wasn’t possible. That was until he met you.
Hatori had met you for the first time while was out getting what he needed for dinner, he was trying to decide what he wanted to make that evening when he heard a soft voice behind him “Excuse me.” “Oh sorry.” He moved to the side allowing you to get closer to the shelves, you grabbed what you needed and stepped away. “Thanks.” You said softly before walking down the isle. That was all the interaction was but it was enough. Enough to keep you circling around in his brain to have him hoping that he’d see you again so that he could ask you your name, maybe to get to know you.
The problem was that he had no idea where he was going to see you again, especially since he had never seen you before. How had he never seen you before? You seemed to settled in, like you had been here for a while. “Now what has you so preoccupied?” Ayame asked as he looked at his friend with a small smile. “Nothing.” He answered almost immediately, this caused Ayame to look at Shigure, both of them sharing a look before Shigure smirked and moved to sit next to Hatori. “Now why would you lie to us?” Shigure asked. “I’m not lying, it’s none of your business.” Hatori grumbled. “Which is none of our business or nothing at all?” Ayame asked, Hatori glared at the both of them and stood. “I have a patient to see.” He grabbed his bag and walked towards the door. “You know that you can talk to us about anything, even girl problems!” Ayame called after him as he left the shop, he sighed to himself as he turned in the direction of the house that his patient resided in.
He knew that he was early but he was sure that there would be no problem, he knocked on the door softly. His eyes widened when the door opened because there you stood. “Oh you must be the doctor.” You said as you stood to the side. “My grandmother told me that you would be coming today.” “How has she been doing?” He asked, allowing professionality to cover his nerves. “Much the same, not any better but thankfully not any worse.” He reveled in hearing your voice in full, a soft, gentle tone it seemed that you were used to looking after people. “Mmm,” He hummed as you led him into the room that your Grandmother was staying in, her hospital bed took up a good portion of the room but there was a chair next to the bed, which he assumed that you sat in a lot of the time. “Would you like a drink Dr.?” You asked. “Oh I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Hatori Sohma.” He put his hand out. “My name is (Y/N) (L/N) nice to meet you Dr Sohma.” You shook his hand. “Please call me Hatori.” He smiled. “And the drink?” You asked. “A tea will be nice.” He said softly. “Sure.” You nodded as you disappeared out of the room.
15 minutes later Hatori had finished checking over your grandmother before you both left her to rest and moved into the kitchen. “She seems to be doing well, how long will you be here? She seems to be benefiting from your company.” Hatori explained as he watched you washing up the cup that you had used and the plate for your Grandmother’s lunch. “I plan to stay as long as she lives, she can’t do much on her own anymore, she called to ask for help so I moved here to help her.” You explained. “I figured it would be better than having some stranger look after her, I grew up here after all.” “You did?” He asked. “Yeah, my grandmother and grandfather looked after me when I was young, I moved away when I finished school, my grandfather died a few years after but she made me promise not to come home unless it was what I wanted to do. That was why I knew that she really needed help when she called.” “And how are you feeling?” He asked. “Me?” You asked. “I’m not your patient doctor.” “No but I should make sure that you are okay as well, you can’t look after anyone else.” He explained. “I’m fine, Hatori, really.” You answered with a smile “thank you for coming to see her.” You smiled. “Well I will see you next week.” Hatori finally said and you nodded.
It turned out that while your grandmother seemed to be doing well that didn’t last much longer and she passed peacefully in the night a few months after your first meeting with Hatori. Hatori was one of the first to come and see you after the incident, some of your grandmother's friends checked in to make sure that you were okay but Hatori was the only person your age that knew of your loss. “How are you?” He asked. “I’m
I’m not sure.” You answered honestly and he nodded. “Good.” He said softly. “Good?” You asked. “You aren’t hiding how you feel, that's good.” Hatori answered. “Even if you don’t know how you feel you should talk sometimes even aimless chatter can make you feel better.” “Who should I talk to, I don’t have anyone left, she was the last one.” You answered honestly. “You can talk to me, at the moment, the slot in my daily schedule used to check over your grandmother is free, I will come here to check on you, you don’t always have to talk but just to have someone around will help.” Hatori explained. “I can’t ask that-” “You are not asking anything of me, you’ve given everything to look after your grandmother, you deserve some help yourself.” Hatori answered. “Okay.” You said softly.
A week later Hatori was sitting in the living room with you. “They read the will a few days ago, she left everything to me, the house, her money, her jewellery
Everything.” You explained. “Did you want to stay?” Hatori asked. “I don’t know
I thought about it. It’s nice here, quiet, and friendly. I like it.” You answered honestly. “But?” He asked. “I don’t know what’s stopping me.” You answered softly. “Mmm.” He hummed “I would not suggest this unless I thought that it might help.” “What?” You asked. “Maybe you need to leave in order to really know where you want to be.” Hatori explained “with everything left to you, it will be here as long as you need it to be, so leaving for a little while may help you make the final choice.” “Do you really think that will help?” You asked. “I will hate to see you go, it has been nice spending time with you, even under the circumstances.” He admitted. “Thank you.” You smiled for the first time in a while.
That had been a month ago, Hatori had managed to keep in contact with you, you seemed to be getting on well and he decided that you were likely going to stay there. Ayame and Shigure had noticed Hatori’s change in mood but he still refused to talk about it. Hatori was on his way to meet up with Ayame and Shigure when he caught sight of someone that he thought he would never see again and they were looking right at him. “Y-your back?” He asked. “Yeah I
Is that a problem?” You asked. “No. No nothing wrong, I didn’t think that you were coming back.” He answered, stepping closer to you. “I wasn’t sure either, I thought it might be easier living somewhere where grandma had never been before and it did help for a little while but then I started to miss someone else.” You explained. “Someone else?” He asked. “You.” You answered “I thought about telling you and even not telling you but I have to say it, I have somewhere to go if you don’t feel the same but-” “You are overthinking it.” He said softly. “You should know that I felt a connection with you from the moment that we talked in the supermarket.” “Talked? I said excuse me.” You giggled. “Mmhm.” He hummed as gently cradling your face “I thought you were beautiful then.” “You did?” You asked “So this is what has had you so down these past few weeks!” Ayame yelled as he flung himself out of the door to his store. Hatori groaned as you looked over at the man. “Friend of yours?” You asked. “A dramatic one.” He muttered, slipping his hand into yours “Ayame I’ll need a rain check for lunch today, I’ve made better plans.” “Excuse me? Better!?” Ayame asked. “Come on.” Hatori pulled you with him without giving any more of an explanation. “There’s a lot that we need to talk about.”

Ramen Date
Relationship: Naruto x Reader
Summary: It's date night. Does something new happen or will it all be the same?
_______________________________________
"Naruto, are you almost done with your ramen?" Ayame asked. I chuckle at her. Naruto always eats at least 3 bowls of ramen on date nights.
"I just love the ramen here, ya know!" Naruto exclaimed. I chuckle at him. I am certain people could hear him from down the road.
"Ayame, you know if you talk to him, it will only take him longer to eat him." I said.
"Hey, Y/n, that's not fair, ya know. I thought you were on my side." Naruto exclaims.
I laugh at him. I lay my head on my shoulder and grin. Naruto has been my best friend for as long as I can remember.
Naruto and I have been friends since we were in the academy. We used to get in trouble together and train together. When he was assigned to Team 7, I thought he was going to forget about me. I mean he had Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura, why would he still want to be friends with me?
He insisted that I was still his favorite person. I worked hard to keep up with Naruto, but he had gotten so strong. Then he left with Master Jiraiya for 3 years. I missed my best friend so much. I worked hard to catch up with him.
When he came back, I was so excited to have my best friend again. Sure, I had other friends, but Naruto was my favorite for sure. I wanted to be by his side for as long as he would keep me. I wanted to see him fulfill his dream of being Hokage.
I realized after Team 7 saved the Kazekage, that my feelings for Naruto were more than platonic. I was in love with him.
Yet, I decided against telling him. The Akatsuki were after him. It wouldn't be fair to him for me to confess my feelings, while he has all this going on. I worked harder to make sure I would be able to protect him, when the time came.
When Madara declared war, I was terrified. I could lose Naruto. I could lose everything. I worked hard to protect everyone during the war. I was so happy when I saw Naruto again. Still, I did not tell him about my feelings. I couldn't put that on him with everything else he has going on now.
About 6 months after the war ended, we were laying out on the roof of his house, watching the stars. I finally told how I felt. And to my disbelief, he said he returned them. We started dating, and our first date was right here at Ichiraku Ramen.
đ–Ščđ–Ščđ–Ščđ–Ščđ–Šč
"Hey Y/n, you alright?" Naruto asks, placing his hand on my thigh. I look up at him and smile.
"Yeah, I am. I'm just thinking back. I still can't believe you like me back. I figured you would have liked a stronger kunoichi." He shakes his head and squeezes my thigh.
"Babe, you know I think you're the strongest. You fought like hell to stay with me, ya know. I am proud of you." He smiles down at me.
As I take another bite, I see Naruto leaning down towards me. I turned my head, thinking he was going to say something to me.
Naruto ends up kissing me on the lips, missing my cheeks. Both of our cheeks are red.
"Um, Sorry Y/n. I didn't mean to do that." Naruto mumbled as he looked away.
"I-it's alright. I l-liked it, Naruto." I whispered as I looked up to him. He looked at me with his rosy cheeks and smiled slightly.
"Me too," he says.
On the way back to my house, Naruto and I hold hands. We don't talk much as we walk. I can't believe we just had our first kiss.
I have always imagined what it would be like to kiss Naruto. When we reach my door, I look up at Naruto and smile.
"Well I definitely think date night was a success." He laughs at me, when he sees my blush.
"Ya know, you're pretty cute when you blush. I definitely like this color on you." he says as he leans down, cupping my face. He kisses me softly.
"W-well, i should get going. I will see you tomorrow Y/n."
Naruto Uzumaki is actually my boyfriend.

One more kiss
Pairing: Kawamura Kazuma x fem!reader
Summary: Little volleyball tutoring wouldn't do any wrong, right?
Warnings: a bit fluff
A/N: Hi! So my obsession changed and here we are with Kazuma. Enjoy and let me know if there are any mistakes or if you want to see anything specific.
Tumblr media
"We are going out to grab a drink, you guys coming with us?" Ayame with group of other girls from your class looked at you and your friend, waiting for the answer.
"Sorry, we have a little volleyball practice." you said with an apologising smile. "Maybe next time."
"Sure. Have fun chasing the ball!" yelled Mizuki and the group left the school's yard, giggling like crazy.
You and your friend waved at them and waited till they left and when you were sure they wouldn't come back, you two headed to the gym.
"We thought you won't come." Kazuma looked at the two of you as you came in.
"To teach clumsy kids like you? We won't miss that." joked your friend and you joined her at laughing.
Kawamura looked at Hokuto ,who was hiding his smile, with disbelief and threw a ball at your friend who dodged it easily.
"Nice try, Kawamura." she smiled brightly and showed him a middle finger.
"Okay, let's start before you two kill each other." interrupted them Yoshino and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"For safety purposes I will teach Kazuma." you offered and pushed your friend slightly towards Hokuto.
"For safety purposes." she mocked you what only made everyone laugh, her as well.
That two walked over to the other side of the gym and started their little training while you handed Kazuma a ball he had thrown.
"Show me what you can." you backed few steps and waited for the pass from the boy. "Don't worry about mistakes, we can work them out."
"You assume I make mistakes?" asked jokingly Kawamura as he passed the ball in the air.
"That's why you wanted us to teach you two, right?"
The pass was okay, maybe not professional, but good. The receive was worse.
"Okay, I know what we should work on." you caught the ball what stopped your little game. "Down receive."
"You got me." laughed Kazuma and you bet you saw a bit of blush on his cheeks.
"Please show me the proper pose." you asked politely and watched carefully as the boy prepared himself. "Okay...may I touch you?"
"Yeah, but don't bite me."
"Bite? Why would I do that?" you stood behind Kazuma and placed your hands on his arms.
"Hokuto does that sometimes." answered Kawamura with a chuckle.
You both looked at the mentioned boy who was dealing with thrown balls and your yelling friend who was calling him 'stupid' and 'lazy'. Of course while laughing, she meant no harm.
"Poor Hokuto." you whispered as you moved Kazuma's arms in a way that would help him receive any ball. "This is the pose I want you to keep, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am." answered happily Kawamura and nodded what only made you smile.
You started passing some balls in every way what was supposed to help with the down receive. It looked like it did.
While practising, your eyes were carefully analysing your working partner. He was moving confidently, his eyes were focused, body ready to receive the ball. You realized he has muscular arms. You analysed his face for a bit longer time. His lips looked soft, just like his cheeks, his skin was clear and his dark eyes were shinning...
"Y/N!" you turned to the left but regretted that second later because ball hit your forehead. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah." you nodded, trying hard not to laugh but you failed. "I needed that."
"I told you it will end that way!" your friend pointed at Hokuto and walked towards him just to throw the ball at him. "Apology!
"Sorry." Yoshino bowed politely.
"That's fine, don't worry." you massaged your forehead for some time and chuckled.
The ball stopped your overthinking about Kazuma who now was looking at you with this warmth in his dark, shinny eyes and question written on his face,
"I am fine." you repeated with an assuring smile and threw him the ball. "Let's pass few times and then we will make a short break, okay?"
"Whatever you say." agree Kazuma and passed the ball.
As you had said earlier, you've played for some time and then took a break on the side.
"Is your forehead okay?" asked Kawamura with voice full of concern and smiled when you nodded. "I told you we are clumsy, especially Hokuto."
"I heard that!" yelled Yoshino from the other side of the gym what made black haired boy next to you chuckle.
You also smiled. Your eyes turned to the blond haired boy behind the net who was playing 'pass the ball' with your friend who now was quiet and was even smiling and nodding with approval.
You wanted to say something at the moment, but something stopped you...the smell of the perfume that was so close closed your mouth. And not only the smell was close, Kazuma as well. His arm was resting on the gymnastic ladders behind your back, his body hovering over you. You felt warmth on your cheeks and you didn't need a mirror to know your face was red as a tomato. Also Kawamura's slight smile was saying enough.
"Pink suits you." whispered Kazuma when you looked at him from below.
"T-thank you." you stuttered a bit what only made the boy chuckle what melted your heart to the puddle.
Without any warning, black haired placed his other hand on the other side of your head.
"Wow, fast and furious." you joked to cover your nervousness. "Kabedon challenge? Now?"
"Maybe not kabedon...more like kiss your teacher challenge."
You thought he was joking, but apparently he wasn't. Kazuma's face suddenly was inches from your, his eyes looking at your lips...it wasn't a joke for sure.
And what did you do? Nothing. You let Kawamura do what he wanted.
His lips gently touched your as if he was asking for permission that you gave him. Even though he got it, he didn't deepen the kiss, he smirked in your lips knowing you were already obsessed with him. And he was not wrong.
"Ai, dumbass! Move!" your friend yelled from the other side of the gym what interrupted the amazing moment you and Kazuma had.
The moment the boy moved few inches from your lips, the ball hit his head, making him look at your friend who was guilty laughing with Hokuto on her side.
"Are you okay?" you asked, trying not to laugh, and petted the place Kazuma got hit. "Does it hurt?"
"Not that much that a kiss can't heal." answered Kawamura with a smile, he looked cute while smiling.
You huffed jokingly, shook your head, but placed a little kiss on his soft lips.
"One more." whispered black haired, his eyes shinning in the gym's lights as he was looking into your eyes. "One more kiss."
"You are good at persuading." you giggled, but did as he asked. Your lips touched his gently and left soft kiss.
"I told you to move." your friend suddenly appeared next to you two and smacked Kazuma's head with a hand. "Don't touch her without my permission."
As a protest to your friend's words, you hugged Kawamura and looked your classmate in the eyes, to provoke her a bit. The boy you were hugging, chuckled and hugged you back.
"I will kill you both one day." huffed your friend and walked towards the exit. "I promise."

Hi Clan!
How are you?
1) I read the FNAC 2 request you made for me, and I loooooved it!
Your fanfics are ALWAYS worth the wait. :3
2) Also yay! DRA and SDRA2 requests are back! So happy! :D
I would like to request a DRA one, which is Ayame x Male Reader, where she trains him after noticing he doesn’t exercice at all. At first he doesn’t want to, because he finds it boring and having trouble getting muscular, but she tells him it’s important, especially for males his age, and after a bit of convincing, and due to the fact they are stuck in the Academy during the killing game, he accepts, and he gets trained by Ayame. He slowly enjoys training with her, as he slowly gets muscular and thus a friendship is formed, with also Akane since she gives them water after training and talks with the two, happy they became friends.
Do you accept my request?
3) By the way, what are your thoughts on Jojo?
Hi! Ty for the patience and happy birthday!
...........
"[Y/n]! You should come exercise with me! It'll be fun!"
"Ah..thank you, Ayame. But..I'd have to decline."
As much as you hated to reject the Ultimate Track Star's offer, exercise was honestly the last thing on your mind, especially since you and everyone else got stuck in this killing game with no way out.
And besides, you've somewhat given up trying to get fit altogether. Even before any of this ever happened, you hit the gym a few times and quickly discovered that getting muscular was no easy task.
You didn't know how other guys your age stuck to their routines and turned out buff and strong in seemingly no time....while all you ever felt at the end of a long workout was fatigued and wheezing for air.
And you were convinced you must be doing something wrong, so you got bored of it quickly and stopped.
Maybe you're simply not built for this kind of stuff.
It didn't help that your talent wasn't exactly the most sportsy, either, as you're the "Ultimate Gamer" who would rather sit somewhere quiet and play on your device to escape the stresses of the world.
Of course, it's won you tournaments and enough recognition to get into this academy...but it winded up being a horrible, horrible curse disguised as a blessing.
Two people were already dead, and everyone's growing more and more distrustful of each other...
So when Ayame approached you the day after the first trial, you were surprised she even wanted to hang around you.
It made you wonder if she forgot that it was a guy who killed one of the girls, even if it wasn't his intention to.
Who's to say that won't happen again?
Not that you could ever resort to something like murder over a stupid "motive", but...shouldn't she be at least a little bit cautious of you?
Nope. She wasn't afraid in the slightest.
You could see the frown forming on her face, and you quickly averted your gaze.
"Look, i-it's not that I don't want to be fit and healthy, it's just..it gets boring after a while, I guess. And if I don't see any changes, I think I'm doing something wrong." Your shoulders slumped in defeat, seeing her expression not change one bit.
Sighing, you closed your eyes and prepared for the chastising that was sure to follow. "...if you're gonna yell at me, then get it over with-"
"Why would I ever do something that's not gonna motivate you?" She crouched down beside you, a sympathetic look to her eyes. "It's important for males at your age to get their daily exercise, so I'm glad you at least tried to stick with it. But maybe all you need is your own personal trainer!"
"...and that would be..?"
"Me!" She grinned. "We'll train all day, every day until we get out of here. Before you know it, exercise won't be "boring" anymore!"
You blinked in surprise, looking back up at her. She seemed so confident and hopeful, although you remained hesitant. "Are you sure that's a good idea? To hang out with me after what happened with Mitch and-"
"She wasn't even his intended target. Just a bad case of "wrong place, wrong time". But I never liked Mitch even before that...I was honestly ready to punch his lights out after he called you a "wimp"." She huffed, cracking her knuckles. "Trust me, if it wasn't against Monokuma's rules I would have-"
"Wait, that was directed at me?" You did a double-take. "I thought he was saying that to Yuki or Teruya..they don't look all that fit either."
Suddenly Ayame looked embarrassed.
"O-Oh, yeah uh....sorry.."
"It's fine..I just...if you're absolutely sure about helping me work out-"
"It's no problem! Really." She reassured, slapping her palm against your back. "Since we're trapped in this stupid academy anyways, we might as well build up some muscle! Whatdya say about putting down that console and coming with me?"
After giving it a little more thought, you finally agreed to go with her, putting your gaming device back into your bag before standing up. "Sure-"
"YES!! Let's jog to the training room to start off!"
"Huh?! But you're the Ultimate---aaaaand she's gone.." You sighed in defeat, watching her race (and definitely not jog) out of the room and leave you in the dust.
Somehow she seemed more excited for this than you.
'Welp, no backing out now..I better get going..'
......
"Whew! That was fun!"
"Yeah..and so was the last workout we did five hours ago."
Although you were damn-near breathless from the intense workout routine Ayame taught you, you gained a sense of accomplishment.
Now you were finally feeling the results.
It seems your efforts were paying off, as you've gotten stronger--being able to lift things and help out with investigations throughout the school with little to no trouble.
You even got compliments from some of your classmates, and it made you feel proud that you stuck with this and didn't allow yourself to get "bored".
You did, however, attempt to find loopholes where you could still play your video games while also training...such as running on the treadmill whilst trying to beat your current high score.
But Ayame would always insist you put it away or tried music instead.
She acted like a strict coach, though you began to value her as a good friend, who was looking out for your best interests.
As you both sat down on one of the benches, wiping away your sweat with a spare towel, you smiled. "I'm surprised the nighttime bell hasn't rung yet..I feel like we've been here all day."
"Yeah, but once we rest our bodies we can get up bright and early and do it all over again!" She beamed. "Or....at least until we get the next "motive", but still we should stay on top of it!"
After nodding in agreement, you heard the door to the training room open, seeing Akane step in. She smiled warmly, balancing two water bottles in her hands as well as extra towels.
Had it been anybody else--besides maybe Yuki--you would've been concerned that something bad just happened, though this was simply the Ultimate Maid engaging in her talent. You could absolutely trust her, especially since she befriended Ayame, too.
You stood up to greet her, thanking her for the drinks before sitting back down. "Oh of course!" She joined you on the bench wrapping a small towel around the back of your sweaty neck. "It's so sweet seeing you two becoming great friends."
"For sure. We've become great workout buddies." You chuckled, taking a sip and sighing at the cool and refreshing taste. "Heck, I might be strong enough to pick up Kakeru one day!"
The girls shared a small giggle at the mental image of you lifting up the strong yet shy lawyer with just a single hand, barely breaking a sweat.
Although it was merely a joke and you wouldn't actually try to pick up anyone, you could feel your confidence practically glowing as you continued chatting with the pair.
When you first came here, you were just that awkward gamer kid standing in the corner, not paying much attention to the trials and longing to get fit for the good of your health...to seemingly no avail.
Yet it's in this same place, where uncertain death could be waiting around every corner, where you discovered a new version of yourself--someone better.
And you owe it all to Ayame for being your number one motivator.

Note
Hello, can I request some headcanons of Sohma Shigure, Ayame, Hatori and Kureno with a shy s/o, please ?
Notes: sorry this took so long, i was answering reqs chronologically, I only did the first 2 cuz I didn't really have inspo for Hatori and Kureno rn
Warnings: n/a mostly fluff but slight nsfw mentions
Characters involved: Shigure Sohma, Ayame Sohma, Hatori Sohma, Kureno Sohma
Gender-neutral reader, you/yours
Shigure Sohma
Shigure absolutely adores your shy side! He thinks you're so cute and exploits it to no end.
He's constantly teasing you and trying to get a reaction, with your flustered state always enticing him.
Shigure is more verbally affectionate than physically affectionate, so he prefers flirting with you and whispering things that could be taken in a romantic/dirty way but also sound normal to oblivious and innocent people.
According to him, it's not his fault you took his words that way, if anything the fact that you're so shy but not daft only entices him further, making him wonder just how far he can go with just words.
The closer you get, the bolder he is and in the span of a few weeks, he goes from casually whispering compliments while standing behind you to looping his arm around your waist to tug you close enough to be able to kiss you, only to say something that has your cheeks heating up.
Shigure loves the chase and isn't afraid to play the long game, but if you make it clear you're not interested in him, don't expect him to back down.
To Shigure it isn't just about getting you to fall for him or some other romantic-ish motive, he literally just wants to take advantage of your personality to annoy you to no end, and if you seem to like that as much as he does, then who knows, maybe you'll end up together.
Ayame Sohma
Ayame's pretty much the opposite of Shigure but in the same spectrum.
Basically, he's a physical flirt.
Can and will use proximity to not only make you shy but also drive you crazy.
He's always been someone who's very open to physical touch which is why he doesn't see why that should be a problem, however, he is respectful of your boundaries.
His physical affection builds up slowly and once Ayame realises you don't mind it or actually like him back then he doesn't hold back whatsoever.
Always has a hand on you. It doesn't matter what the two of you are doing or who is around you, if he can then Ayame will keep at least one hand on you.
Sometimes he'll get more frisky with this and trail it to places he shouldn't, but other times it's more innocent and he just wants to be near you.
Ayame is quite the flirt, but he's more of a serious flirt than the joking kind. You know the kind who would just be 'messing around' but then suddenly his hand is under your chin and he's pulling you in but just ends up flirting and leaving at the end.
He also isn't shy to confess, so once he does his flirts just get ten times worse as he says things like I'm waiting for you, etc.
Overall, good luck trying to deal with him because it can get pretty overwhelming.

fuck ur instincts — suna x reader & atsumu x reader
you and suna are just fooling around—so why does he care so much when you start falling in love with someone else?
previous — masterlist — next
word count. 1.5k content. swearing, mentions of sex
Tumblr media
Suna doesn’t know where the time went. One moment, he seems to have you in the palm of his hand, the next, he barely sees you at all. You’re just gone from his life, gone in the way that matters most.
It’s been two months since you and Atsumu started dating officially. He doesn’t talk to you anymore and he avoids the subject as much as he can around Atsumu, but from what he can tell, the two of you are doing great. You’re happy together, perfect even. Atsumu’s exactly what you need.
And that makes him feel terrible.
“Rin,” the girl in his bed calls, “are you okay?”
He looks up from the corner he’s decided to sit in and shrugs at her. “Dunno.”
This probably looks really bad. He’s just spent the last two hours fucking her and now he can’t even go near her. At least he’s managed to remember her name. Ayame. He never calls her that when he comes though. He just can’t.
“Do you want me to leave?” she asks.
He shakes his head. “It’s okay,” he says. “You can take the bed, I’ll stay on the couch.”
“You don’t need to do that—”
“It’s fine. I don’t really sleep in my bed anymore.”
Ayame looks at him sadly. She pities him, he knows she does. At this point, everyone knows that you and Atsumu are together. When the basketball team found out, it became a whole thing that ended with the entire campus basically getting a PSA that you are off-limits now.
She shifts a little. “Can I ask you a question?”
He nods at her weakly. “Sure.”
“Do you love her?”
Suna feels that burning in his chest again. It happens every time someone mentions you, every time he thinks about you, every time he sees your yellow Winnie the Pooh toothbrush beside his (he can’t bring himself to get rid of it).
“Yeah,” he says quietly. “If it isn’t love, I don’t know what it is.”
Ayame offers him a sad smile. “At least you know what love is,” she tells him. “Not a lot of people actually get to experience it. They think they do, but they don’t. At least you know it’s real.”
He chuckles bitterly. “What good is that?”
She sighs. “I don’t know,” she tells him. “But it’s something, right?”
Tumblr media
“I can come with ya,” Atsumu offers, placing a bag of detergent in the cart. “Ya can tell ‘em I’m yer assistant or somethin’.”
You grab a bottle of fabric softener and tick it off your list. “My parents aren’t going to believe I have an assistant.”
“And why not? Ya can rule the whole world at this point.”
“‘Tsumu
”
“Y/N
”
You crane your neck and peck his jaw. “I would take you, I really would,” you tell him, turning back to your list. “But my whole family’s gonna be there. I don’t want the first time you meet my parents to be the same day you get harassed to death by my aunts.”
“They’d love me!” he insists.
“I’m not saying they wouldn’t,” you tell him. “I’m just saying that my family is crazy and I don’t wanna drag you down with me.”
He whines. “But how am I gonna survive without ya?”
“It’s three days!”
“That’s a lot of days!”
You groan. “If you stop complaining, I’ll take you to that new sushi place when I get back.”
He furrows his brows. “The one with the good tuna?”
“The one with the good tuna.”
Suddenly all smiles, Atsumu plants a wet kiss on your cheek as he hums the intro to that one anime he’s been obsessed with. “I have the best girlfriend in the world.”
You push the cart to the next aisle as he skips ahead of you. “You’re impossible.”
“I know! And ya still put up with me! Best girlfriend, I’m tellin’ ya.”
You roll your eyes and smile, the two of you working together to get the rest of the groceries you need.
The past two months have been the most interesting time. At first, it was a bit of an adjustment having an actual boyfriend. You went out with guys before but you never really stuck around long enough to find out what being with someone was like. It took you a while to even wrap your head around the word.
Boyfriend.
It just seemed so official. So real.
You don’t think you ever had anything real before.
But there was something about Atsumu that just made the whole thing feel natural. The two of you fell into place perfectly, finding your roles in the relationship together and figuring it out along the way.
One thing you always liked about Atsumu was his honesty. The way you always knew that what you saw was what you got. That part of him helped a lot when the two of you needed to make things clear with each other. You never felt like he was hiding what he thought or felt. What you saw was what you got.
The worst fight you had so far had to do with volleyball. You’d expected that.
Oikawa was right when he said Atsumu was extremely anal about the sport, he would stop at nothing to get things exactly right.
He had forgotten to pick you up one afternoon and, with the rain and the flooding near your residence hall, you ended up stuck in the cafeteria until late. When the two of you finally sat down to talk about it, he acted all self-righteous, saying that he was practicing and how could he have known it was going to rain?
“Ya knew I was gonna be busy!” he said, stomping around the living room. “Ya can’t just expect me to drop everythin’ for ya!”
You put your head in your hands and let out a frustrated sigh. “For fuck’s sake, Atsumu, do I not matter to you at all?”
That seemed to change something in his mind. Like it all clicked. Like he realized that he was being stupid. Of course you matter to him. He’s pretty sure you’re the only thing that does.
The two of you never had the same argument again.
He isn’t perfect, but he sees you for who you are to him. He knows your worth and he knows he never wants to lose you, nothing would be worth as much as you.
Life has worked out for the two of you. And you’ve worked out for each other. You have to admit you could get used to this feeling—this happiness, this warmth, this security—maybe you already have.
“Why don’t you throw a party?” you ask, sticking a lollipop into your mouth as he loads the groceries into his car.
Atsumu makes a face. “But why?”
“Oh, come on,” you say, “you haven’t thrown one in so long.”
“Yeah because hostin’ parties sucks ass.”
“I bet it’s not that bad.”
“Ya just say that ‘cause yer a partygoer, not a party-thrower.”
You pull the lollipop out of your mouth and jump into the passenger seat. “Alright, fine,” you say as he gets in the driver’s seat. “What about just a little night in with the team? You guys haven’t drank together in a while.”
“I don’t like drinking,” he reminds you. “Messes with my system.”
“You can party without drinking.”
“Why do ya want me to have a party so bad?”
“I don’t really want you to have a party,” you tell him. “I just think you spend a lot of time with me and
I don’t know, I kinda feel guilty that you don’t get to do that many things on your own anymore.”
He laughs at that. “I like spendin’ time with ya. Yer so much better than the team.”
“But still.”
“I get it.” He nods. “Yeah, maybe I’ll invite the boys over. It’ll be good for them. Omi especially.”
“You know, I’m always worried he’s gonna steal you away from me.”
Atsumu chokes on his own spit. “Why would ya say that?”
You shrug, a teasing smirk on your lips. “I mean, you talk about him a lot. You know what his dick looks like. Oh! And you have that weird obsession with his—”
He pulls your face to his as the car stops at a red light, kissing you to both shut you up and remind you that there’s no one else in the world that can make him feel this way.
It’s always you.
It’s always going to be you.
“—his vinyl collection,” you finish your sentence as soon as he pulls away.
He pecks your lips one last time, shaking his head with a smile as he starts driving again. “Yer impossible, woman.”
“Ugh, I know right? Maybe you should buy me that cake I like.”
Atsumu shakes his head, chuckling. “Impossible.”
“You love it though.”
“Do I?”
You nod, connecting your phone to the car’s speakers and putting your playlist on. “‘Course you do.”
He glances over at you and finds you grinning at him, all bright and cheery. “Guess I do,” he says, reaching over to put a hand on your thigh. “Probably love it more than I should.”

A energetic, silly by nature snake with a shy and to themselves darling..
Maybe opposites attract?
You keep him composed, especially during certain situations where it would be inappropriate to make one of his renowned comments
And Ayame makes certain scenarios that seem too outgoing for you more comfortable
If you’re to nervous to ask a certain person a question, thinking it’s stupid or maybe that person will yell at you there’s no doubt Ayame will ask it for you, putting himself in the path instead since he’s experienced with social interactions
Of course you’ll have to lead him away from them after awhile or he’ll might get in a troubling situation
Ayame loves how much you rely on him just on small basic things, after all he is possessive and this way he gets to be the barrier between you and other people
Also it means he gets more of you to himself, getting to dress you up in private and admire you in ways no one else can
There are moments of comfortable silence, where Ayame feels loved just by you being near him being able to share this type of relationship, after all he wouldn’t want you to have to spend time away from him just to be comfortable
Other than those little times, he’s loud and very outgoing, it’ll get exhausting fast, you’ll have to organize time away from him carefully
