One more kiss
Pairing: Kawamura Kazuma x fem!reader
Summary: Little volleyball tutoring wouldn't do any wrong, right?
Warnings: a bit fluff
A/N: Hi! So my obsession changed and here we are with Kazuma. Enjoy and let me know if there are any mistakes or if you want to see anything specific.
Tumblr media
"We are going out to grab a drink, you guys coming with us?" Ayame with group of other girls from your class looked at you and your friend, waiting for the answer.
"Sorry, we have a little volleyball practice." you said with an apologising smile. "Maybe next time."
"Sure. Have fun chasing the ball!" yelled Mizuki and the group left the school's yard, giggling like crazy.
You and your friend waved at them and waited till they left and when you were sure they wouldn't come back, you two headed to the gym.
"We thought you won't come." Kazuma looked at the two of you as you came in.
"To teach clumsy kids like you? We won't miss that." joked your friend and you joined her at laughing.
Kawamura looked at Hokuto ,who was hiding his smile, with disbelief and threw a ball at your friend who dodged it easily.
"Nice try, Kawamura." she smiled brightly and showed him a middle finger.
"Okay, let's start before you two kill each other." interrupted them Yoshino and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"For safety purposes I will teach Kazuma." you offered and pushed your friend slightly towards Hokuto.
"For safety purposes." she mocked you what only made everyone laugh, her as well.
That two walked over to the other side of the gym and started their little training while you handed Kazuma a ball he had thrown.
"Show me what you can." you backed few steps and waited for the pass from the boy. "Don't worry about mistakes, we can work them out."
"You assume I make mistakes?" asked jokingly Kawamura as he passed the ball in the air.
"That's why you wanted us to teach you two, right?"
The pass was okay, maybe not professional, but good. The receive was worse.
"Okay, I know what we should work on." you caught the ball what stopped your little game. "Down receive."
"You got me." laughed Kazuma and you bet you saw a bit of blush on his cheeks.
"Please show me the proper pose." you asked politely and watched carefully as the boy prepared himself. "Okay...may I touch you?"
"Yeah, but don't bite me."
"Bite? Why would I do that?" you stood behind Kazuma and placed your hands on his arms.
"Hokuto does that sometimes." answered Kawamura with a chuckle.
You both looked at the mentioned boy who was dealing with thrown balls and your yelling friend who was calling him 'stupid' and 'lazy'. Of course while laughing, she meant no harm.
"Poor Hokuto." you whispered as you moved Kazuma's arms in a way that would help him receive any ball. "This is the pose I want you to keep, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am." answered happily Kawamura and nodded what only made you smile.
You started passing some balls in every way what was supposed to help with the down receive. It looked like it did.
While practising, your eyes were carefully analysing your working partner. He was moving confidently, his eyes were focused, body ready to receive the ball. You realized he has muscular arms. You analysed his face for a bit longer time. His lips looked soft, just like his cheeks, his skin was clear and his dark eyes were shinning...
"Y/N!" you turned to the left but regretted that second later because ball hit your forehead. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah." you nodded, trying hard not to laugh but you failed. "I needed that."
"I told you it will end that way!" your friend pointed at Hokuto and walked towards him just to throw the ball at him. "Apology!
"Sorry." Yoshino bowed politely.
"That's fine, don't worry." you massaged your forehead for some time and chuckled.
The ball stopped your overthinking about Kazuma who now was looking at you with this warmth in his dark, shinny eyes and question written on his face,
"I am fine." you repeated with an assuring smile and threw him the ball. "Let's pass few times and then we will make a short break, okay?"
"Whatever you say." agree Kazuma and passed the ball.
As you had said earlier, you've played for some time and then took a break on the side.
"Is your forehead okay?" asked Kawamura with voice full of concern and smiled when you nodded. "I told you we are clumsy, especially Hokuto."
"I heard that!" yelled Yoshino from the other side of the gym what made black haired boy next to you chuckle.
You also smiled. Your eyes turned to the blond haired boy behind the net who was playing 'pass the ball' with your friend who now was quiet and was even smiling and nodding with approval.
You wanted to say something at the moment, but something stopped you...the smell of the perfume that was so close closed your mouth. And not only the smell was close, Kazuma as well. His arm was resting on the gymnastic ladders behind your back, his body hovering over you. You felt warmth on your cheeks and you didn't need a mirror to know your face was red as a tomato. Also Kawamura's slight smile was saying enough.
"Pink suits you." whispered Kazuma when you looked at him from below.
"T-thank you." you stuttered a bit what only made the boy chuckle what melted your heart to the puddle.
Without any warning, black haired placed his other hand on the other side of your head.
"Wow, fast and furious." you joked to cover your nervousness. "Kabedon challenge? Now?"
"Maybe not kabedon...more like kiss your teacher challenge."
You thought he was joking, but apparently he wasn't. Kazuma's face suddenly was inches from your, his eyes looking at your lips...it wasn't a joke for sure.
And what did you do? Nothing. You let Kawamura do what he wanted.
His lips gently touched your as if he was asking for permission that you gave him. Even though he got it, he didn't deepen the kiss, he smirked in your lips knowing you were already obsessed with him. And he was not wrong.
"Ai, dumbass! Move!" your friend yelled from the other side of the gym what interrupted the amazing moment you and Kazuma had.
The moment the boy moved few inches from your lips, the ball hit his head, making him look at your friend who was guilty laughing with Hokuto on her side.
"Are you okay?" you asked, trying not to laugh, and petted the place Kazuma got hit. "Does it hurt?"
"Not that much that a kiss can't heal." answered Kawamura with a smile, he looked cute while smiling.
You huffed jokingly, shook your head, but placed a little kiss on his soft lips.
"One more." whispered black haired, his eyes shinning in the gym's lights as he was looking into your eyes. "One more kiss."
"You are good at persuading." you giggled, but did as he asked. Your lips touched his gently and left soft kiss.
"I told you to move." your friend suddenly appeared next to you two and smacked Kazuma's head with a hand. "Don't touch her without my permission."
As a protest to your friend's words, you hugged Kawamura and looked your classmate in the eyes, to provoke her a bit. The boy you were hugging, chuckled and hugged you back.
"I will kill you both one day." huffed your friend and walked towards the exit. "I promise."

under the rain, with you
pairing : kazuma x hokuto
summary : 'it's about who's willing to stand in the rain with you even when they have the choice to stay dry.'
Hokuto had no choice but to sit in another blind date his friends arranged for him after a hundred failed attempts to get him to date someone until now. He's currently in his mid-20s and everyone around him found their partners while he's still stuck in blind dates, trying to figure out how to fall in love with someone your friends set you up with. It was the same thing every time, so much he'd pretty much given up on it by now.
'I promise you, this one's your type!'
'Agreed, you have so much in common with this person'
"Psh. They always say that everytime they do this. It's always the same thing." Hokuto rolled his eyes remembering what his friends said about his date tonight. He arrived at the restaurant a few minutes earlier than the given time and told the staff regarding the reservation.
"This way, sir." A waiter led him through the maze of tables and chairs that made up the restaurant before leading him to their table near the back. Someone was already sitting there and he didn't expect that. He looked at his watch and he knew he was early so he didn't expect his date to be earlier than him. This was the first time his date was the first to arrive, he's always the one to wait for them.
The waiter who had escorted him here gestured for him to go sit down and as he did, he finally got a good look at the man seated across from him.
'Holyshit, he's handsome.' Kazuma thought to himself as he stared at the man in front of him who then smiled and stood up to bow at him and introduced himself.
"Hello," he spoke softly but in a very masculine tone. "My name is Kazuma Kawamura. Pleasure to meet you." The guy offered him his hand which he gladly took.
"Hokuto Yoshino'' The two shook hands before Kazuma sat down again.
'Damn, an elegant one at that.' Hokuto thought to himself once again, he felt something stir in his gut as they shook hands and the feeling intensified when his date sat down and placed his elbow gently on the table.
"Shall I order anything for us?" Kazuma asked, not looking away from Hokuto's face. The latter was staring back at him wide eyed.
"Ah, sorry..." His date laughed, noticing that Hokuto's face was getting redder by the second.
"Do you like sushi? Or would you prefer other things we could try?" Kazuma asked, wanting to know more about the person in front of him. Hokuto just nodded slightly, taking his time to collect his thoughts.
"Sushi sounds nice" he replied as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
'His voice sounds nice and deep, like some kind of smooth music that just flows right out of his mouth. He has such beautiful eyes,' he noted.
The waiter returned shortly after and began to take their orders. Hokuto ordered some tempura shrimp on a roll while Kazuma decided on some salmon dish, they also ordered sushi. After ordering their food they started their conversation.
Kazuma listened attentively as Hokuto talked about his interests and hobbies in life, it was obvious that the both of them were well off considering they're in a fancy restaurant in Tokyo, he even mentioned that he's also a model though not yet famous.
"You have a pretty face, there's not a doubt that you're a model." Kazuma stated with a smile on his face. Hokuto blushed lightly as he lowered his head.
"I'm really flattered." He added quietly as his date's comment caught him off guard. Kazuma seemed oblivious to Hokuto's flustered state though and instead continued to chat about his hobbies.
"I'm a singer, if you can't tell." Kazuma chuckled.
Hokuto just blinked confusedly. "I'm a vocalist." Kazuma explained.
“I sing at some large event sometimes but I'm in a band." He informed Hokuto, causing him to nod along. He's heard of bands before but never heard any of their names or songs so it's a new experience hearing one for the first time. Kazuma went on to describe the band in detail and even though it sounded boring, it really interested him, seeing as he didn't know many rock bands, only idol bands and pop groups.
'He seems cool...' was all Hokuto thought to himself, smiling faintly at his date.
They ended up talking for a little over an hour about their lives and hobbies during their date and Hokuto completely forgot all his past failed blind dates because he seem to enjoy this one for the first time. In fact he doesn't regret coming here at all. He didn't think he was actually compatible with anyone anymore, he thought all those people were just looking to score. But this person just seems to make him relax and want to laugh freely, which, surprisingly enough, feels extremely different from his past experience of falling in love with guys.
Their dinner eventually came to an end. Kazuma paid for the dinner since he insisted even when Hokuto wanted to split the bill. They walked outside together, enjoying the night air as they walked side-by-side. In the past, Hokuto would bid goodbye to his dates as soon as they got out of the restaurant, some would never even bother to take him home and some would insist on getting him a cab home. That's why most of his dates ended up being duds.
"So, where to next?" Kazuma broke the comfortable silence between them as they stopped under a tree, the moonlight reflecting against his eyes and Hokuto couldn't stop looking at them.
Hokuto hummed in thought for a moment before answering, "I don't know. I haven't taken anyone out after dinner, they usually leave after."
"How about we walk around some more, and we'll see if we find something interesting that catches our eye?" Kazuma suggested with a smile.
"Sounds good." Hokuto agreed with a grin. Kazuma held out his arm for Hokuto and after a brief hesitation, Hokuto took it and allowed Kazuma to walk with him hand-in-hand. They spent some time walking around Tokyo aimlessly, taking turns making a random comment about whatever caught their eye, sometimes making light talk about themselves, other times laughing loudly when they shared jokes. After a while, Hokuto felt something wet drop onto his shoulder and realized that it was about to rain.
"Shit. We didn't bring an umbrella," Kazuma mumbled as he turned his gaze towards the sky. The rain seemed heavy too. Hokuto held out his other hand from his pocket to feel the droplets of rain hitting his palm.
"You know, I love the rain." Hokuto sighed in contentment as he gazed towards the sky again.
"It feels calming to me, almost comforting even." Kazuma was quietly staring at him, seemingly lost in his own world. "In the past, those people I dated hated when it rains, they always complained about how annoying it was, saying the rain would ruin their suit and hair. That the cold weather makes them sick and they're afraid to catch a cold." Hokuto chuckled softly as he remembered some old memories. Before he realized it, the rain started pouring and his clothes became drenched immediately. He eventually pulled out from his own thoughts and realized that he's with someone who's probably also soaked now thanks to the rain.
'Oh shit. Now's not the time for my little banter, he might get sick because of me," Hokuto thought as he turned to Kazuma and saw that the latter was still standing beside him, still staring at him.
'What's wrong with this one? He should be sheltering himself from the rain, why is he looking at me like that?' Hokuto wondered as he looked around and saw a few stores that the latter should've considered going inside for shelter instead of standing in front of him right now.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I was selfish, let's go take shelter from one of those stores!" He blurted out without thinking and tugged on Kazuma's arm to hurry him along into one of the shops but the latter pulled him back. The rain was starting to pour out heavily and they're already wet.
He felt Kazuma hold his hands and intertwined them with his. Hokuto raised his head in surprise and Kazuma noticed and gave him a warm and reassuring smile. It caused his heart to jump slightly as he squeezed the other's hand. And before he knew it, Kazuma pulled him towards the middle of the street and they both closed their eyes as the raindrops hit the sides of their faces. The raindrops felt like they landed on him like soft needles, tickling his skin ever so gently. The water was cold, but Hokuto didn't mind it. He was enjoying the moment, or should he say, they were enjoying it.
He opened his eyes to watch the rain fall and then looked back at the male standing beside him, enjoying the feeling of his warm hands wrapped around his own icy ones. Kazuma turned towards him as he opened his eyes and smiled again. Hokuto felt like his soul just left him and was slowly replaced by butterflies as he met his beautiful eyes. His heart was pounding so hard as he realized what this moment meant.
In his life, he met countless people and went on countless dates only to end up with no one because these people never bothered to get to know him despite having to share all about him. They never took the chance to experience what it's like to actually know his heart and soul. The rain was their excuse to run away from the possibility of bearing his love. They say that sharing your love was enough, but to actually find someone who wants to experience your love is definitely what Hokuto wanted until now.
For him, it's not about who shelters you from the rain, it's about who's willing to stand in the rain with you, when they have a choice to stay dry.
