yes “some of us have to work” but also some of us have to deal with daily pain and sickness that is so severe we are unable to keep up with our most basic human functions properly
so maybe we shouldn’t be comparing our daily struggles, yeah?

Say it louder for all those incompetent doctors accusing their patients of mental problems when it's really just them not knowing shit about the fiscal disease that person is suffering from and have no clue how to treat it 🙄🙄🙄
There is absolutely NO shame in having a mental illness. The fact is that far too many ""doctors"" keep using MI every time they aren't able to understand what the problem is; it's their perfect excuse for not caring, dismiss the patient and put their incompetence under the rug once again.
Blaming on mental illness a problem that is fisical is wrong and can be very harmful. As would be the opposite.
not to be dramatic but people with chronic health conditions are literally 10000% stronger than you give them credit for

"Functional" level, more like: not being able to function anyway but at least I don't want to die (because, *despite loving life*, the pain it's just too much).
Other people take the pills I have to get high. I take them to get temporarily up to a functional level.

Not because we need validation but because we do need help. And we aren't gonna get any if they don't (care to) undestand our situation first.
Pain
It leaves you desperate for people to understand what you are going through

Honestly? Same. I hate needing something (and therefore depending on someone else who has to provide me with that) in order for me to letterally survive.
Little did I know though, 5 years ago, that in my near future I would developed 6 more serious and invalidating chronic conditions, on top of T1D and Dysautonomia, that would have put me in need and dependent of many more and heavier medications. Oh, life.
God i hate needing insulin
