Max: Well. The big MNOs can choose different solutions on AWS. For example, DISH in the US is using Outpost for 5G core network. The AWS Outpost integrated virtualized computing, networking, security and orchestration. That’s excellent! Between different sites we can use AWS Wavelength as DCI. The data throughput between core network and eNodeB/gNodeB could be carried by local optical or microwave transportation networks. I hope we can deploy IPLOOK’s core network with AWS Outpost for customers soon.

It discusses "enshittification" and how it’s making big tech worse. Cory Doctorow explains how tech employees used to take a stand against the decline of their companies or products, but now they desperately need a union. He describes two classes of tech workers: "green" and "blue." The green workers are supposedly privileged, but this is control and sedation disguised as comfort and care. Meanwhile, blue workers are so fearful of poverty that they’ll never take a stand. Doctorow also mentions how Steve Jobs cultivated an environment where people believed they were working toward something bigger than themselves—a phenomenon librarians call "vocational awe" (the feeling that you’re working for the greater good). He connects this to the Sam Altman vs. OpenAI board drama I have noticed that many of Altman’s employees were willing to leave with him. Is that vocational awe? I’m not sure. He also delves into Google's decision-making and how the company ruined itself as its internal culture eroded.
