My favorite thing about Annabeth is her wardrobe.

Cause like, Rick simplifies her clothes in a way a man would, and you can tell.

Cause in EVERY book, from The Lightning Thief to Chalice, she’s in the goddamn CHB shirt. With like some shorts or cargo pants. Nothing more, nothing less.

He’s made improvements over the years, giving her some other clothes. But he’ll always come back to old faithful.

Happy birthday @jmrothwell!

Julie wasn't sure why a ghost themed coffee shop had become her favourite place to work on her thesis, but she had some ideas. For one it was walking distance from the tiny little apartment she shared with Flynn. For another, they had really cute snacks. They had really good coffee and they weren't judgemental if she ordered a 'what is sleep' with extra espresso shots.

But mostly, the reason she kept coming back was Reggie. Reggie, with his sunshine smile and his bad puns. Reggie, who always added some extra drizzle because he knew she liked her coffee extra sweet. Reggie, who flirted with her no matter if she was wearing her ridiculous smiley sweatshirt and a pair of jeans that had seen better days, or a cute dress. Reggie, who was always experimenting with new coffee art to see what would make her smile the most.

So maybe, after she finished her thesis (and slept for like 24 hours) she ordered a smaller coffee than usual and a 'whatever you're having, on my tab' right before she knew Reggie went on break.

The sunshine smile that came with her order was worth it. And so was Reggie's number in her phone.

I have a bit of time b4 this next flight takes off (just sitting in my seat right now hehe) so here's a thought that's been stewing for a bit; honestly in addition to being partnered and totally in love with Mojo, my s/i would also be his biggest fan 🥺💖💖 They'd think that everything about him is just so cool and that all his evil plots are so impressive and they'd always hype him up and want to remind him just how awesome they think he is 🥺💖🥺💖 I bet he'd practice his evil speeches in front of them too or let them "proofread" any schemes he comes up with because their opinion matters to him and he also knows that they're probably gonna be giving him lots of compliments and feeding his ego hehehee 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

ATTN: Old Guard Fandom

We've been here for a couple of years, and most of the original wave has "died off" for now, which just leaves those of us who are still committed to making and appreciating fanworks.

There's also a bunch of history and culture nerds here, and a demand for more rigorous canonverse historical fiction. However, good historical fiction takes a huge amount of research, which puts off a lot of talented writers who don't feel confident in their ability to research on their own.

What I propose is a compendium of bibliographies, masterposts, nonfiction meta, and so forth that people have created specifically for historically-accurate fanworks in the Old Guard fandom. There's a few of them out there, and if we collect and circulate them, we'll be able to reach new creators and audiences.

If you know of anything that falls into this category, tag me and I'll start a list!
