I went to the art museum today and brought my sketchbook and they had a special exhibit on monsters and demons in ancient China and I was like a kid in a candy store. There was this silk scroll that went almost completely the length of the room that showed demons and humans fighting, and there were also good demons that fought the bad demons alongside the humans it was awesome. Some of the "demons" were people with animal heads while others looked similar to how Japanese oni generally do. There were also some that were sort of like centaurs but with lower halves of all sorts of different animals (I think one had a lion lower half?). It was interesting. A few had dragons kicking ass on the humans' side too

The only downside was that the whole museum was weirdly extremely crowded so I didn't get to do as many studies as I would've liked...
