How To Become a Pilot? A Guide to Becoming a Pilot
Tumblr media
Many people dream of being pilots, as they are fascinated by flying high into the air and enjoying adventure. However, to move on the path to achieving your dream, you need rigorous training and a deeper understanding of aviation principles. Pilot training in USA is a complex process devised to provide aspiring pilots with the skills, knowledge, and experience to fly an aircraft in a safe manner.
Ground School: First Step
Flight schools in USA is the commencement of the journey of the aspiring pilots, and the pilots are just being introduced to the basic theories of aviation. The ground school includes a wide number of chapters such as aircraft systems, thermodynamics, patterns, navigations, and regulations of federal administration, etc. These basic theories further prepare the students for theoretical and practical examinations. The Ground School conducts FAA's Private Knowledge Test, a detailed examination to examine the student's grasp of the content.
Private Pilot License
The first great achievement in best flight training schools in USA is a private pilot license. This stage comprises theoretical instruction and practical flight training. Students are required to log at least 40 flight hours, while many of them require even more to become proficient. These hours require dual instruction along with a certified flight instructor and flight time. During this stage, the key skills include flight maneuvers, cross-country navigation, landings, and some emergency procedures. The students should pass the check ride test along with the practical exam organized by the FAA examiner.
Instrument rating
The pilots can fly easily when the weather is clear, using PPL. But when the weather is not favorable, then IR is essential. IR training is given to candidates solely to fly with reference to instruments that are so significant for navigation through conditions such as fog, clouds, and when visibility is low. This training comprises extra flight hours under instrument conditions when using flight stimulators and in the aircraft. In order to acquire this rating, the pilots should pass a written test and a check ride.
Commercial pilot license
For candidates aspiring to become professional pilots, the next stage is to obtain a commercial pilot license. These advanced trainings help in building skills required in the PPL or IR phase, such as accuracy and precision. Students should record a good number of flight hours that include specific needs, such as flying long cross-country flights and flying at night. The CPL lets the pilots get rewarded for their services, thus opening the gateway to various professions in the aviation industry.
Multi-engine rating
For most aviation jobs, you need expertise in flying multi-engine aircraft. The multi-engine training trains pilots on how to manage aircraft complexities with more than one engine, emphasizing the focus-out process and procedural management. This rating comprises both theoretical and practical training, culminating in another check ride.
Airline transport pilot certification
The highest point of pilot certification is ATP (airline transport certification), which is needed to act as a captain for an airline. For this certification, the candidate should be intensively experienced, have undergone 1500 flight hours, and possess a thorough understanding of the aviation concept. The ATP certification process comprises a rigorous practice test and a written exam.
Recurrent training and continuous training
A pilot’s education from best pilot training in USA is actually never completed, even after obtaining the highest certification. The aviation industry is persistently using newer technologies and devising best practices and regulations. Pilots should undergo training again and again to maintain certifications and stay afloat with the current advancements. This comprises stimulator checking, checking for proficiency, and still continuing with courses.

IMAGES: USAF F-35 jets are the first 5ª generation fighters to land on the ally Brunei
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 05/03/2024 - 23:55in Military
The U.S. Air Force (USAF) F-35A fighters paid a visit to Brunei on March 1º, the first time that fifth-generation stealth jets landed in the small Pacific island nation.
Tumblr media
Two F-35s made the journey from Eielson Air Base, Alaska, to Rimba Air Base, Brunei, a visit that coincided with a diplomatic visit by the Deputy Deputy Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, Jedidiah Royal. The trip was also made by Major General Mark Weber, assistant to the National Air Guard of the PACAF commander.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Members of the Royal Air Force of Brunei, including Commander Brig. General Dato Sharif saw the aircraft, which was on static display, and asked the USAF aviators questions. The aircraft left for its return flight on March 2.
The F-35 visit took place 40 years after the U.S. officially recognized Brunei, after its independence from the United Kingdom, which took control after World War II, when the nation was occupied by Japanese imperial forces. The visit takes place at a time when the United States intends to strengthen cooperation with a wide range of allies in the Indo-Pacific.
Tumblr media
Brunei and the U.S. signed a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation in 1994 and have been conducting joint exercises regularly since then. The air forces of the two countries worked together in September 2023 as part of exercise Pacific Angel 23-3, focused on humanitarian assistance and humanitarian aid in disasters. As part of this exercise, the U.S. Air Force unfolded an HC130-J Combat King II, an HH-60G Pave Hawk and a C-17 Globemaster III to Brunei.
Tumblr media
— PACAF (@PACAF) March 4, 2024
In December 2023, the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command received Brunei officials for bilateral talks that included the signing of a "Section 505 agreement," a prerequisite for the granting of military training or equipment to a foreign nation.
Tumblr media
Although it has only 5,765 square kilometers - a little smaller than the state of Delaware in the USA - Brunei claims a slice of the South China Sea that is less than 1,600 kilometers from China. As China is its largest trading partner and foreign investor, according to the U.S. Peace Institute, Brunei has sought to "protect" its dependence on China by building a stronger relationship with the U.S., wrote researcher Sufrizul Husseini.
Tumblr media
However, in the growing competition of great powers between the two, the U.S. wants to build ties with countries throughout the region and has used the visits of USAF fighters and bombers as one of the ways to demonstrate its commitment to the allies.
Just a year ago, for example, the U.S. Air Force F-22s were sent to the Philippines, becoming the first fifth-generation fighters in that country. In April, two B-1B Lancers bombers participated for the first time in an exercise with the Indian Air Force. And in June, a B-52 landed in Indonesia, another novelty. And in October, a B-52 landed in South Korea, the first landing of its kind in more than 30 years.
Tumblr media
These strategic visits send a message about security cooperation and partnership aimed at deterring China from risking a broader conflict through expansion into neighboring territories.

THIS DAY IN GAY HISTORY
based on: The White Crane Institute's 'Gay Wisdom', Gay Birthdays, Gay For Today, Famous GLBT, glbt-Gay Encylopedia, Today in Gay History, Wikipedia, and more … December 24
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1305 – France: Grand Master Jacques de Molay and over 500 Knights Templar recant their confessions of homosexual activities to which they had admitted under torture. King Phillip IV burned 54 of them soon after the false confessions. Philip had de Molay burned upon a scaffold on an island in the River Seine in front of Notre Dame de Paris in March, 1314. The sudden end of both the centuries-old order of Templars and the dramatic execution of its last leader turned Molay into a legendary figure.
Tumblr media
1573 – French diplomat and law professor Hubert Languet wrote to Sir Philip Sidney, "My affection for you has entered my heart far more deeply than I have ever felt for anyone else, and it has so wholly taken possession there that it tries to rule alone."

1905 – Howard Hughes Jr. (d.1976) was a USA business magnate, investor, record-setting pilot, engineer, film director, and philanthropist, known during his lifetime as one of the most influential and financially successful individuals in the world. He first became prominent as a film producer, and then as an important figure in the aviation industry.
Later in life, he became known for his eccentric behavior and reclusive lifestyle—oddities that were caused in part by his worsening obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic pain from a near-fatal plane crash, and increasing deafness.
Hughes dated many famous women, including Joan Crawford, Billie Dove, Faith Domergue, Bette Davis, Yvonne De Carlo, Ava Gardner, Olivia de Havilland, Katharine Hepburn, Hedy Lamarr, Ginger Rogers, Janet Leigh, Pat Sheehan, Mamie Van Doren and Gene Tierney. He also proposed to Joan Fontaine several times. However, a rumour persists that Hughes and another notorious womanizer Errol Flynn had a sexual relationship, with Flynn at the top man!

Robert Joffrey (rear) with Gerald Arpino
1930 – Robert Joffrey, born Abdullah Jaffa Bey Khan, (d.1988) was an American dancer, teacher, producer, choreographer, and co-founder of the Joffrey Ballet, known for his highly imaginative modern ballets. He was born Abdullah Jaffa Bey Khan in Seattle, Washington to an Afghan father and Italian mother.
As a teenager, Joffrey met 22-year-old Gerald Arpino, then serving in the Coast Guard. Arpino moved into the Joffrey home. From then on, the two were inseparable. They became best friends, artistic collaborators, and lovers.
Joffrey studied ballet and modern dance in New York City and made his debut in 1949 with the French choreographer Roland Petit and his Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris. From 1950 to 1955, he taught at the New York High School for the Performing Arts, where he staged his earliest ballets. He founded the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City in 1954.
In 1954 he formed his own company, which premiered Le bal masqué (The Masked Ball, 1954; music by French composer Francis Poulenc) and Pierrot Lunaire (1955; music by Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg). Joffrey's other works include Gamelan (1962) and Astarte (1967), which was set to rock music with special lighting and motion-picture effects.
The Robert Joffrey Ballet took up residence at New York City Center in 1966. In 1982 it moved its principal activities to Los Angeles, California and in 1995 to Chicago, Illinois. Noted for its experimental repertoire, the company was called the "Joffrey Ballet of Chicago" after its move but has since returned to being called simply the Joffrey Ballet. Besides Joffrey's works its repertoire includes many works by Gerald Arpino, Joffrey's long-time lover, co-director, and eventually artistic director emeritus until his 2008 death, and ballets commissioned by Joffrey from new choreographers as well as works by such established choreographers as George Balanchine, Alvin Ailey and Twyla Tharp.
Joffrey was sexually promiscuous but discreet. His pattern was to have Arpino at home for domestic stability, one principal romantic attachment, and numerous one-night stands.
In 1973, Joffrey fell in love with A. Aladar Marberger, a 26-year-old gay activist and manager of the Fischbach Gallery in New York. In the 1980s, both men contracted AIDS. While Marberger was outspoken about his illness, Joffrey remained silent. He was ashamed and wanted his obituary to say that he died of liver disease and asthma. Arpino agreed to his pleas, but the secret could not be maintained, as AIDS took a staggering toll on the dance world in general and on Joffrey's company in particular.
Robert Joffrey died of AIDS on March 25, 1988 in New York City. Aladar Marberger died eight months later.

1958 – Bob Smith (d.2018) was an American comedian and author. Smith, born in Buffalo, New York, was the first openly gay comedian to appear on The Tonight Show and the first openly gay comedian to have his own HBO half-hour comedy special. Smith, along with fellow comedians Jaffe Cohen and Danny McWilliams, formed the comedy troupe Funny Gay Males in 1988.
With Funny Gay Males, Smith is the co-author of Growing Up Gay: From Left Out to Coming Out (1995). Smith is also the author of two books of biographical essays. Openly Bob (1997) received a Lambda Literary Award for best humor book. Way to Go, Smith! (1999) was nominated for a 2000 Lambda Literary Award in the same category. Smith published his first novel, Selfish and Perverse, in 2007, and Remembrance of Things I Forgot in 2011. He published a new collection of essays, Treehab: Tales from My Natural Wild Life, in 2016. The essays cover a wide range of subjects including his career in stand-up, his love of nature, and his experience with ALS. He performed at the inaugural We're Funny That Way! comedy festival in 1997, and appeared in the festival's documentary film in 1998.
While taping a 2007 comedy special for Logo, Smith disclosed that he was suffering from a neurological disorder. He described his symptoms at that time as slurred speech, making him sound inebriated. In response to an August 2012 New York Times article on openly gay male stand-up comedians, Smith posted a comment stating he had ALS.
On February 2013, Smith gave a candid interview to Canada's Global News, where he elaborated about his condition. The article also revealed that Smith assisted with the conceiving of fellow LGBTQ comedian Elvira Kurt's children, who with Kurt reside in Canada, and that he was a direct descendant of Henry Smith, an early settler of Canada's Niagara Region for whom the Henry of Pelham Winery is named.
Bob Smith died on January 20, 2018 from Lou Gehrig’s Disease in his Manhattan, New York home at 59 years of age.

1971 – On this date the international singer and actor Ricky Martin was born. Born Enrique Martín Morales in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is known to millions of fans by his stage name Ricky Martin, is a Puerto Rican pop singer and actor who achieved prominence, first as a member of the Latin boy band Menudo, then as a solo artist after 1991. During his career he has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide. He is the founder of Ricky Martín Foundation (in Spanish Fundación Ricky Martin) a non-profit charity organization.
Martin rose to fame as a member of the Latin American boy band Menudo, after which he became a solo artist in 1990. During forays into acting on Broadway ("Les Miserables") and soap operas (General Hospital) he released numerous albums of Spanish music, which sold millions of copies throughout Latin America and Europe. In 1995, Martin refocused on his music career through his third album, A Medio Vivir. With this album, Martin made a shift from formulaic hit ballads to a more risky fusion of music centered around traditional Latin sounds, with the hit "Maria", which epitomizes this new sound. "Maria" broke Martin into Europe through Spain. With the ballad "Te Extraño, Te Olvido, Te Amo", Martin began his expansion from Latin American and Spanish-speaking audiences to the European and Asian markets. He was chosen to sing the anthem of the 1998 FIFA World Cup, the famous hit "The Cup of Life"/"La Copa de la Vida", that reached number one on the charts in 60 countries.
He broke into the English-language market with his mega-selling hit single "Livin' la Vida Loca," which reached number one in many countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, France, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, and South Africa. He followed up with the hit "She's All I Ever Had" which peaked at #2 on The Billboard Hot 100. This album became one of the top-selling albums of 1999, and was certified 7 times platinum, selling over 22 million copies worldwide to date.
During the Livin' la Vida Loca era, Martin's personal life went under the microscope due to his large Gay following, and he was questioned about his sexual orientation. In December, 2000 during an interview in The Mirror, Martin was asked, '"So what about all these rumors?" "There's not a lot I can do about that," he said. "I guess these rumors were started by people who don't have a life, or perhaps it's because they want me to be like them and I'm not. I try not to pay attention to any of these allegations. I could have been married with kids for years or have 27 girlfriends, and if people still want to go around saying that I'm gay, they will."'
In August 2008, Martin became the father of twin boys, named Matteo and Valentino. The babies were delivered via gestational surrogacy.
On March of 2010, Martin publicly came out as Gay in a post on his official web site by stating, "Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment. These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed ... I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."
"What will happen from now on? It doesn't matter. I can only focus on what's happening to me in this moment. The word 'happiness' takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution."
In January 2018, Ricky Martin married his long-time partner artist Jwan Yosef.

About the Achievements of Uzbekistan's Economy: Anvar Mullabekov's Perspective
Anvar Mullabekov is a businessman from Tashkent whose professional activities are closely related to the aviation industry. He is well-known in his professional field both in his homeland and beyond.
Recently, the second Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2023) concluded, confirming the growing interest of the global business community in Uzbekistan's investment development.
Anvar Mullabekov closely follows such significant economic and financial events in Uzbekistan. His education and experience in Innovation Management and Financial Management, as well as his training at Stanford University and in London, enable him to deeply understand the importance and impact of such events on the country's economy and the region. Anvar Mullabekov's specialization in aviation leasing, financing, insurance, and aviation risk management makes him interested in events that can stimulate growth and innovation in these industries. Anvar Mullabekov actively participates in projects not only in Central Asia but also in European countries, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. This means that he is directly involved in international investments and business projects. The successful conduct of major economic forums like TIIF-2023 can contribute to attracting investments and expanding business connections, which, in turn, will have a positive impact on his own projects and interests.
TIIF-2023 gathered around 2,500 representatives from the business and financial sectors from 70 countries, including the USA, EU, UK, Turkey, China, India, Egypt, CIS countries, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This is a significant growth compared to the first similar forum in 2022, which was attended by more than two thousand guests from 56 countries.
While last year saw the signing of 105 documents totaling $7.8 billion, TIIF-2023 resulted in 164 agreements and contracts worth $11 billion. These figures clearly demonstrate the expanding interest of foreign investors in cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Anvar Mullabekov believes that the success of TIIF-2023 is due to Uzbekistan confidently gaining momentum in its economic growth during the post-pandemic period amid the turbulence of the global economy. The country's gross domestic product increased by 5.5 percent in the first quarter of 2023. The favorable investment climate of Uzbekistan has also undergone significant improvements.
During TIIF-2023, it was noted that after the 2022 forum, systemic reforms aimed at further liberalizing the economy were accelerated.
In the field of taxation, the value-added tax rate was reduced from 20 percent to 12 percent. Dividend income received by foreign investors from shares is exempt from income tax for a period of three years, and the corporate income tax rate for them is also reduced from 20 percent to 12 percent.
Anvar Mullabekov is confident that such measures stimulate the inflow of foreign investments and contribute to the development of local entrepreneurship. Uzbekistan is actively developing its infrastructure, establishing industrial parks and technopolises, which creates new opportunities for investors and enables job creation for the population.
Additionally, Uzbekistan collaborates with international financial institutions and implements large-scale infrastructure projects, which also serves as an additional incentive for foreign investors.
Diversification of industrial production and innovative activities is an important direction for the country's economic development. Uzbekistan seeks to create conditions for the growth of high-tech industries, making the country attractive to technology companies and research centers.
Anvar Mullabekov is convinced that overall, the increasing interest in Uzbekistan from foreign investors and the successes in implementing economic reforms are important indicators of the country's stable and sustainable development. However, it is crucial to continue working in this direction

meet SUNIL KOTA
Hey, isn’t that SUNIL KOTA. I thought they went away for the summer? Did you hear they might be a HUMAN? What I do know for certain is that they’re 31, and they’re BRAVE and NAIVE. They’re originally from MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ, USA and have been in FENRIRSWOOD for 1 YEAR living in SUNE’S HARBOUR. I wonder if they still work at FENIR UNIVERSITY as a RESEARCH ASSISTANT. Best if they stay safe for now.
TW: Military mentions; Plane crash; Death/Injury Mentions
On a sufficiently cloudy night—when there were no stars—the little wooded path behind the boy’s home could almost feel like nowhere. Sunil Kota walked it often, forgetting, on nights like these, that neat homes lay just around the bend and that the dull roar in the air was from cars on distant freeways, not from prowling beasts. But the boy himself, the second oldest of four children and his parents’ first son, was a searcher by nature, bold and brilliant, although he sometimes found only the latter quality encouraged by his elders. Still, the former compelled him into the dark, into the unknown, into the endless pursuit of something just out of reach.
When his backyard plot felt too restricting, then, the public nature reserve nearby, an expanse of protected, forested land, provided ample quarries—sightings of fairies, of bigfoots, of winged demons, and of the vengeful specter of one scorned witch who wandered the roads by night. Sunil himself never caught sight of them himself, of course, but his untamable adventurous spirit would compel him to climb constantly upward, into the trees, branch by branch, flashlight in his teeth, as though only getting as high as possible would provide him an ample view.
And that ascent could only prove natural, as it was, of course, an impetus he had inherited from his own father, who had moved to the United States from India as a young boy. At eighteen, the man funded his own education through the Air Force before working briefly as an airline pilot, eventually becoming the co-owner of an FBO at a small airport in suburban New Jersey, specializing in luxury aviation charters. Sunil himself spent long days at the lounge there, watching the pilots fuel up or commandeering the bronze airplane model atop the reception desk as a toy for the afternoon. He successfully dented its wing by throwing it, with one long motion, out onto the tarmac; it did not take off flying the way he might have hoped.
But despite his sometimes-zealous nature, Sunil himself did do relatively well in school, kept focused by his mother’s attention to his studies and by his father’s penchant for discipline. He excelled, in particular, in the sciences, and by the time Sunil was a teenager, he was, likewise, working odd jobs at his father’s business and eventually earning flight hours of his own. Takeoff was exhilarating, an intoxicating, adrenaline-fueled feeling that he would cling to for much of his young life. And while, briefly, he did consider following his dad into the military, Sunil opted instead to study biology and environmental sciences at a New Jersey college, compelled, at least in part, by returning, now as a young man, to the woods in which he had grown up and seeing them (and their animal denizens) beginning to fade.
Living at home, studying, and working as a flight instructor at that same airport, Sunil strove one day to become a pilot biologist for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. He earned a master’s degree in natural resource management from a prestigious New York university and continued to work toward this goal when a new opportunity arose, largely by a twist of fate. With his family’s blessing, he thus set off for Canada to begin training for the Air Operations team of the British Antarctic Survey, the United Kingdom’s national polar research institute.
He would have to learn to ski, and that was pretty funny, he thought. But the work itself was intensive, including disaster and first-aid preparedness. And setting off, lured by the promise of new adventures in new landscapes, Sunil spent six months working in the field, shuttling the aircraft back and forth from Antarctica, doing general maintenance, and supporting the research teams as appropriate.
During this time, he struck up a friendship with one particular scientist, who became something of a mentor. Sunil was visiting her in the United Kingdom in the winter of 2022 when he, taking a pleasure flight in a rented craft, passed over a small cityship called Fenrirswood. Inexplicably, his plane abruptly veered off course, and he began losing altitude quickly.
He crash-landed in the surrounding wood, his life saved by only his own skill and by the cushions of the trees. But he was in bad shape and would have perished without preternatural intervention.
The young pilot was rescued by members of a local coven, who had been drawn by the disturbance he had caused. They gave him back his strength, asked for it bit by bit, and awed by their gifts, Sunil, scientifically-minded as he was, promised allegiance to them, feeling for the first time that he had finally discovered what he had been looking for all along, some glimpse of the true nature of things.
He remained in Fenrirswood, and with his mentor’s recommendation from his Antarctic expedition, he earned a more permanent research position at Fenrir University. He feels something of a particular calling to advocate publicly for the preservation of wolf territory and habitat.
Today, in a small plane that is rickety but his very own, kept in a hangar some ways outside the city limits, he is more than happy to be the community’s eye in the sky, scoping out intruding game hunters or helping in the search for those who have wandered out and gotten lost. Still, Sunil’s own trusting nature, the part of him that sees the good in the world and those inhabit it, has made him also foolish. He forgets sometimes that he is only mortal and easy fodder for something larger to swallow completely.
Played by Ted. Portrayed by Praneet Akilla.

⚠️ CHINESE STATE COMPANIES SUPPLIED NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT, COMPONENTS AND DUAL-USE TECHNOLOGIES TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION ⚠️
📰 According to a review conducted by the Wall Street Journal (❗️) on Customs Data of the Russian Federation, China has supplied (and is still supplying) military equipment, Dual-Use Technologies, Electronic Warfare Technology and Fighter Fighter parts to Companies of Defense owned by the Russian Government, placed under sanctions by the United States and the European Union ⚙️
💭 Regarding the previous months (before this news), we know that:
🔺Chinese exports to Russia of Aluminum Oxide, essential for production in certain military sectors, have increased more than 400 times - Source 📄
🔺Chinese shipments of Chips to Russia, useful in both civilian and military fields, have doubled - Source 📄
🔺Changsha Tianyi Space Technology Research Institute Company Ltd, a Chinese company that manufactures satellites, allegedly provided high-quality satellite images of locations in Ukraine to PMC Wagner, allowing it to conduct its military operations - Source 📄
📄 According to the Review conducted by the WSJ, the majority of Russian imports of Dual-Use Technologies came from China, a sign that the aid that the People's Republic of China is providing to Russia is not only economic but also military 🪖
🧾 Here's what comes out of the Customs Registers:
🔺The State Owned Defense Company "保利科技有限公司", shipped - on 08/31/2022 - Navigation Equipment to the Russian State Company JSC Rosoboronexport for Mi-17 Helicopters 🚁
🔺The state-owned conglomerate "AVIC - Aviation Industry Corporation of China" - part of SASAC, the Commission for the Supervision and Administration of State Activities, supplied - on October 24 - numerous parts for Su-35 Multirole Fighter (used by Russia in the Special Military Operation) to a subsidiary of ROSTEC, the Russian State Holding operating in the Defense and Advanced Technologies Sector, for 1.2 million dollars 🇷🇺
🔺The "China Taly Aviation Technologies Corporation", a State-owned Commercial Company operating in the Aviation Technology, Industry and Commerce Sectors, supplied - on 04/10/2022 - components to the "Almaz-Antey Corporation", a Russian State Company dealing with Anti-Aircraft Defense Systems. These are components for the 96L6E Radar System, used by Russia to detect enemy Fighters, Missiles and Drones as part of the S-400 System 🚀
🔺The "SINNO ELECTRONIC CO. LTD", based in Hong Kong, already placed under sanctions by the US Treasury Department, sent more than 1,300 shipments between April and October 2022 to KRET, the State Company of Russia, a subsidiary of ROSTEC , worth two million dollars 📊
🤔 However, some companies mentioned claimed that they had not sent anything to Russia, such as the "Fujian Nanan Baofeng Electronics Co., Ltd", which - according to the Report - would have supplied a Telescopic Antenna for an RB-531BE, using it as an intermediary between China and Russia a State Enterprise of the Defense Sector of Uzbekistan, a member country of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization 🇨🇳
💬 Wang Shaofeng, general manager of the company, said that his company's official name does not include "Nanan", and that another company may have used his company name illegally, and that he does not produce telescopic antennas, stating that the Report "lacks factual basis, and is inconsistent with the facts" - it is certainly more probable that it was the State Companies that supplied the components, and not this company 🤔
Silverado Policy Accelerator, Think Tank USA based in Washington, stated - in its Report - that Russia "increasingly relies on imports of Dual-Use Goods and Technologies from China to meet its military needs" 🪖

Korean Air will develop a manned and unmanned team system in which a manned aircraft and three to four stealthy UAVs can perform missions simultaneously. (Photo: Korean Air)
Korean Air was selected on August 12 as the preferred bidder for the Korean Defense Development Agency (ADD) "slaught UAV squad development" project.
Korean Air received high scores for its technology in the first phase of the bidding process.
Stealth UAV squad technology is being developed for the first time in Korea as part of ADD's "Future Challenge Defense Technology Research and Development Project" to develop new weapons systems.
Tumblr media
The ADD began developing the UAV squadron in November last year and completed the basic project. The agency plans to work on the detailed project with Korean Air.
Korean Air will develop an unmanned team system in which one manned aircraft and three to four stealth UAVs can perform missions simultaneously. The UAV squadron will not only support and escort a manned aircraft, but will also be able to carry out its own missions, including surveillance, electronic interference tactics and precise firing.
ADD began developing the UAV squadron in November last year and completed the basic project. The agency plans to work on detailed design with Korean Air (Photo: Korean Air)
The South Korean company continued to acquire the main UAV stealth technologies by participating in projects such as the joint development of stealth UAVs with ADD in 2010, in which it was successful on a test flight for the first time in Korea. Korean Air also joined a project last year to research and develop technology for broadband stealth UAVs for the Korea Research Institute for Defense Technology Planning and Advancement (KRIT).
Meanwhile, Korean Air plans to use its capabilities acquired in more than 20 years in the development of UAVs to protect the main next generation technologies for stealth UAVs, such as manned and unmanned teams, cluster control and autonomous mission execution, and become a leader in the development of stealth drones in Korea.
Korean Air will continue to contribute to the future advanced development of weapons systems and the strengthening of the defense capabilities of the armed forces, actively participating in ADD's multipurpose stealth UAV development project, as well as a feasibility review of artificial intelligence-based stealth UAV squad operations using manned teams and unmanned systems.

The Royal Mint has added George Michael to its Music Legends series, producing three collectible coins featuring the late pop star.
Available in gold, silver, and silver, red and black, the coin shows Michael wearing the aviator sunglasses and cross-shaped earring from the video for his 1987 solo single Faith, along with a guitar fretboard. The back features an engraving of the song’s refrain.
The Royal Mint said the coin had been approved by Michael’s estate. A representative from George Michael Entertainment said it was “deeply honoured” by the tribute, and added that the singer – who died in 2016, aged 53 – would have been “enormously proud and genuinely touched that a national institution should have decided to pay tribute to his memory in this way”.
King Charles and the privy council also gave assent to the production of the coins, which come in denominations of 50p, £2, £10, £25, £100 and £200. Other new coins outside the Music Legends series honour James Bond, Star Wars and Robin Hood.
Royal Mint director of collector services, Rebecca Morgan, said: “From his debut with Wham! to becoming one of the bestselling solo musicians of all time, George Michael is a global superstar whose work has inspired and influenced generations with his music and his unique style. Loved by millions of fans worldwide, we are delighted to be introducing an official UK coin celebrating his life and legacy.”
The coin was designed by Sandra Deiana, who said she wanted “a detailed portrait of George Michael that captured his piercing gaze and charismatic expression”.
Michael joins the Police, Dame Shirley Bassey – the only female musician to be commemorated on a coin – the Rolling Stones, the Who, Elton John, Queen and David Bowie in the Music Legends series.
The coin is the latest posthumous honour for Michael: in December 2023, Wham!’s 1984 single Last Christmas finally reached the UK Christmas No 1 spot after 39 years, breaking the record for the longest path to No 1. In June, Netflix released the documentary Wham!, which covered Michael’s early years in pop alongside Andrew Ridgeley, beginning in 1981, before he went solo in 1987.
