- Obviously Jaden's the Avatar lol. Avatar Jaden of the Fire Nation (since he's a big fan of red and all 🤭)

- Fire Prince Chazz, Lightningbender ⚡⚡⚡

- Dragons are a thing so Light and Darkness Dragon anyone?? 👀👀

- Atticus is a Waterbender, but Nightshroud is a Bloodbender 👻

- Atty and Lex are prince and princess of the Northern Water Tribe

- Alexis is also a Waterbender but since in the North it's forbidden for women to learn Waterbending except for healing purposes (at least it is in ATLA, clearly that's not the case anymore in LOK since y'know, Eska. But this is my brain I can use whatever lore I want aksksk), Atticus taught her how to Waterbend himself in secret 🤫

- Zane and Syrus are mixed nations like Mako and Bolin, Zane is a Metalbender but Sy is a Waterbender

- Syrus specializes in healing, not combat. I imagine Zane treats him basically like he's a helpless non-bender as a result. But in that mean basically telling him he's useless way that he would, not in a protective brother kind of way. He understands it's a very valuable skill but really wished his brother could fight and fend for himself so he didn't have to be protected all the time.

- Very high concentration of Earth Kingdom squad members lol

- Bastion gives me Earth Kingdom vibes but also I feel like he would be a Waterbender because Water Dragon 🤔 can't decide 🤔

- Jim's Earth Kingdom but a non-bender. I imagine in the equivalent to the accident that lost him his eye as a kid he just went blind. Shirley is his seeing eye Crocogator 🐊 (y'know, since basically all the animals are hybrids 🤭 i know Catgators and Crococats exist but this is funnier and I can make jokes about her totally just being a normal Croc that Jim's passing off as a cross between a Catgator and a Crococat 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭)

- Jim's a mega badass swordsman though even with the blindness. Wouldn't be surprised if he had some Earthbending power lying dormant inside him, like a fossil waiting to be unearthed (no pun intended 🤭), but he's more than content to be a regular human, he doesn't need bending to enjoy his life.

- Hassleberry's 100% an Earthbender. Dude can probably even Lavabend but that's a big maybe. (I mean volcanoes helped kill the dinosaurs and all too so)

- My guy Crowler teaches at the University of Ba Sing Se and if he's a bender he's probably a Metalbender (cuz y'know, Ancient Gears. I am taking their decks somewhat into account here 🤭), probably a member of the White Lotus

- Sheppard's got that Airbending Master status babyyyy, also the current Grand Lotus, just chilling with his non-bending wife Dorothy 😌

- Slade vs. Chazz in a fucking Agni Kai, a la episode 35 !! (🤜🔥 🔥⚡🤛)

- Jaden has a Firebending block similar to Zuko at some point, but because his fire comes from his passion, not hate. In his emo era his passion is gone and he has to find it again and reignite his inner fire!

- Jesse's got those Earth Kingdom green eyes, probably from the Earth Kingdom, but I think he has some Air Nomad heritage in there. He's very connected to his spirituality and the spirit world. Kinda gives me Jinora vibes in that area, he definitely is a very spirit heavy guy. Crystal Beasts, am I right?

- Jesse could've been the Avatar if the cycle wasn't up to fire at the time. (Literally forget any and all timelines none of that matters this isn't a crossover we're talking about. Full au so continuity be damned! All that matters is that the Avatar cycle is now at fire 🔥)

- Axel's Fire Nation I mean c'mon his whole thing is fire aksksk, strong Firebender and probably in the Fire Nation Army too somewhere. A good man though, a very honorable and just guy, not a shitty shitty bad Firebender as is the general consensus in the world about Firebenders most of the time it seems.

- Aster also gives me Water Tribe vibes but like only kinda, he's hard to nail down element wise...... 🤔 he's got the blue eyes so I'm gonna say Water Tribe atm we'll see if my brain agrees with that later. Whether North or South idk, I'm still on the fence about him being a Waterbender but water is my favorite so not gonna complain about making more Waterbenders..... 🤔

- His dad was a non-bender and was 100% killed by a Firebender though. That would cause issues with him and Jaden since Jaden is a Firebender Avatar. Oof there you go, Aster's whole like fucking "you can't hide from destiny" batman era bullshit?? He's going around beating up Firebenders because he doesn't know who exactly killed his father ooooooooo 👀👀👀 (I guess kinda like Katara I guess in a way but also not really I mean she saw the guy who did it, not that she knew exactly who he was without Zuko's help figuring that out but shhhhh remember none of that's important right now 🤫)

Brain still consumed by avatar au

Judai has to be the avatar his elemental heroes are every element so makes sense, starts off as a very overtly friendly kind and pretty gullible avatar in training, dark world/spirit world shit happens that in the end only makes him stronger but his entire demeanour to his mentors delights becomes much more leader worthy (dark avatar supreme king i am obsessed)

Manjoume - fire with preference in lightning only, lightning came easily to him so much that his actual fire power is kind of lacking (homie doesnt fuckin practice his breathing techniques)

Shou - earth but he’s not confident so most of the stuff he can bend is small rocks or sand, ultimately becomes a sand/dust/small particles bender

Asuka - water with preference in ice, unusual in the sense that her movements are like a dance to cover her feet in ice to deliver devastating bladed kicks

Misawa - water - his parents were earth benders imagine their surprise when a water bending kid popped out, as it turns out his grandparents have water heritage so hm hm punnett square shit do the math i cant, focuses on the entire spiritual aspect of waterbending, hes in tune with he tides and the moon phases and he can heal

Edo - air, he became a master at a young age and takes great pride in his status and abilities, usually seen jumping off tall places to test his flight skills (yes i am basing his entire airbending thing off that one fucking sky diving scene)

Ryou - earth but learns through a dire situation that he can bend metal, eventually his entire style evolves into using metal only

Fubuki - fire, has the ease, control and potential to create the legendary super hot blue flame but he prefers being a messenger of love and peace, not war and mostly uses his power for lighting fires to roast marshmallows over and generally having a good time

Kenzan - earth, typical good ol earth dude, he likes both feet firmly on the ground, pretty good at seismic techniques, likes to build cute houses out of dirt, an architect in the making

Johan - earth, with an exceedingly rare ability to create diamonds from the sheer strength and pressure of his technique, he can then use and manipulate these diamonds as his chosen weapon

Jim - earth, a rare lava bender, likes to use his skill to sense fossils in the ground, great at excavating with the gentlest precision, you probably won’t find a more delicate bending technique than Jims

Austin - fire, the classic firebender, perfect form and technique, perfect heat control and his fight skill is unmatched, he can do the fire plasma laser shit because he’s a super talented guy and always challenges Judai to actually practice his fire

Infinite Month 2019 Nov 28th prompt:Death - Lost song AU

I'm a day late i know but i started this thing later than i should've but i made sure to pour my heart into writing this one!

Why I've done an au for death is because watching the Netflix orig anime Lost Song ended up giving me major infiniteshipping vibes with the relationship between the two characters Finis (who in which Jougo is playing her role in terms what goes on) and Henry Leobolt (who looks a lot like Mamoru but w flatter hair and only blue eyes so therefore mamo is him)

This whole fic is based on probably the most drastic plot important event that happens in the anime that really makes your heart ache and give you surprised pikachu face at the same time. So enjoy! (@itsashowtime)

Why? Why?! How could they lie to him at such an extent. That was no enemy soldier Jougo had been made to kill via the Song of fire,  in fact the person who was currently burning to death was far from being an enemy. It was Mamoru. They had made him burn Mamoru, the person Jougo loved most with all his heart, to his death. 

Hearing the agony in Mamoru’s voice as he screamed  in pain as he burned Shattered Jougo’s heart whole “Why didn’t you say anything before i started Singing Mamo-chan?!” The brunette songster questioned through endless tears of sorrow and heartbreak watching the blonde boy he loved so much burn. Yet what was even more devastating was the response "If i did, things would've been worse for both of us, you shouldn't have to suffer so much because they keep treating you like a weapon!" What Mamoru said about the kingdom treating Jougo as a weapon rather than a person was true, all because he had the power of song. The power in which singing certain songs produced power of some description, the most valuable being the song of healing as it had the ability to heal all and any wounds which could countlessly heal the kingdoms army, however constantly singing these songs came with a dire consequence for the singer with this power, the more they sang these songs, their life would keep deteriorating, pulling at their health until they eventually died from singing them too much. Mamoru had been trying to protect Jougo from that happening to him since the brunette had told him about it, the two had even planned to try and run away but that plan had ended as this, Mamoru burning and Jougo left weeping his heart out.

“But mamoru...you don’t deserve to die! You’ve done nothing to deserve death! This isn’t right at all!” Jougo kept yelling out in disparity, his heart ached seeing this happen and being able to do nothing made it even worse, the scorching crimson flames would continue to consume Mamoru until he would be there no more,but emerald and sapphire gleaming eyes met innocent hazel ones for a final time with a gentle smile "I'm glad you don't have to suffer this yourself Jougo, I'll remember you even at death, because i love you.." after the last few words left Mamoru’s mouth the roaring flames mass consumed him until he was gone leaving behind nothing but his sword and the mask he'd occasionally worn. 

He was gone. Gone for good. That was the reality, that Jougo had widened his eyes to know. 

Mamoru was dead. The fact tore him whole as he slumped to his knees grasping at the only two reminders he had of the boy he loved. Nobody greeted him with any empathy for what had happened, instead nothing but mocking laughter of satisfaction that expressed their pleasure in the fact that he was dead. "Finally the nuisance is dead!" one of the men said "serves him right for trying to go against the kingdom, foolish to even consider the idea in the first place" another said they had no intention of showing any respect to his death at all, only disrespect. "the Songsters' Naive to even believe us, now he just wasted his last song killing him!" those words came mockingly out of the mouth of their general and it broke Jougo whole inside. 

"He didn't do anything to deserve death!!" Jougo yelled in hatred of the soldiers mockery. Those words of the general had made him realise something, now that Mamoru was dead and nobody had any empathy to share for it, this world was now worthless. All it had done was filled him with this void of loneliness, one that would never vanish unless the thing that had created it disappeared too. "What are you gonna do about it? Now that you can't sing you're practically useless, just a naive little boy!" the general sneered. If he sang he'd likely die, yet he wanted to sing one last time, not to heal or just to kill them. To make the world that had made him burn Mamoru to death disappear. 

".. You're wrong.. You're a corrupted man! With no empathy for what you made me do.. I don't care if i die because I'll make sure this world dies with me!!" as the songster spoke these harsh words he gripped tightly onto Mamoru’s sword that had embedded itself into the ground turning to give the general a look of pure detest, yet there was something strange about that look he gave, his eyes were no longer hazel, they'd become a cold harsh golden colour. 

To the surprise of all shortly after, was that a melody came out of his mouth. It was not a colourful melody, it was a bleak dark melody, he was singing and showing no signs of fading life in the process, instead a dark aura produced around him and the sky went auburn, this clearly nothing good, which struck deep fear and panic into many, the more auburn the sky got the sooner the idea of what was happening got clearer but it became fully clear when part way through his song Jougo spoke the words: "Everything should just disappear." 

He was not just bringing about destruction but instead the end of the world. 

As the song progressed, meteors fell bringing destruction and death across the country, he knew one would surely kill him too and he would embrace it. He didn't want to live in such a cruel world any longer and joining Mamoru at death would surely be a blessing to him, as the time drew near for a meteor to hit him he embraced it with a small smile knowing that the song of Morality would grant this small desire of his muttering a few simple yet sweet words to the sky. 

"I love you too, Mamo-chan."

Getting from the start to the end and having it make sense all the way. It's why I want to finish chaptered works before I post them, so I can make sure all plot holes are fixed and no extra plot strings are left dangling (unless I want them to be).

Depends on the fandom.For Digimon, probably my breeds AU where about half of the Chosen are part or full Digimon. For GX: Reversal AU. Without a doubt, Reversal.

Okay. I'm just gonna put some food for thought here. Because like

I know the Sacred Beasts were created for the GX anime to be like the edgier more corrupt or evil parallels to the Egyptian Gods. The Wicked Gods 2.0 but the Wicked Gods designs are not exactly my favorite (literally the Avatar is just. A ball. That's all). And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they show up later on in the manga past Yako using them even though they've got interesting powers (apparently they can revive the dead and honestly like you would think Bakura would get his hands on those, because yknow that would be very useful for him). If I am wrong and they do appear beyond that, let me know because I haven't really read the arc with the Tenma brothers and haven't seen the Wicked Gods used much beyond that. And they were more to keep the Egyptian Gods in line. So to me they don't necessarily feel like the more sinister counterparts to the Egyptian Gods.

But the Sacred Beasts have a mysterious quality to them. They have cool designs. They are so powerful they had to be locked away and are referred to as the Wicked Ones. Hell they even show up again in the third season of GX to be used by Yubel while they possessed Marcel. Still hold up on their own. And they have their own fusion, like how the Egyptian Gods fuse into Horakhty and

Y'all. Y'all I won't lie. I wish Zorc would have looked more like Armityle. But slap a different color palette on this bad boy and you got what I think the embodiment of evil and darkness that has a snake motif should be.

Maybe I'm just disenchanted by Zorc bc I grew up on the 4kids dub and we all know what they did there. And it didn't help that when I saw the actual version of Zorc I spent 5 minutes laughing bc you all know why. And if I remember correctly, Takahashi made his design when he was really sick and he just. Looks like a fever dream I understand it completely.

But anyhow this gives me au ideas and I just. I just think it would have been cool if there was a way to make them have a deeper connection with the God cards and if Zorcs design would be more like Armityle.

5 - Fic idea I've had that I'd never do?

I don't know if I'd say definitively never persay, but the GX/Avatar au idea. I love the idea but being far more of a GX expert than I am an Avatar expert, it's intimidating to think about. I also just don't think I could really do it justice ultimately.

Also the Big Time Movie GX crack au I came up with after watching the movie again the other week? Yeah, never gonna happen. Unlike the Mario crossover that really was a joke that will remain only a joke.

And cutting really deep into deep aberooski lore that literallyno one but me knows about, there's this idea that I came up with many years ago, a GX Noire type idea. Basically it would've been Alexis going around as a detective trying to solve the mystery of Atticus's disappearance in the context of like a crime drama. She's not supposed to be working the case because she's too close but of course she goes behind everyone's backs and works it anyway and Jaden's her bumbling partner, Crowler's the DA, Sheppard runs the agency, you know all that kinda stuff. But I really don't think I'll ever end up doing it at this point after all these years.

18 - one of my favorite lines in a fic I've written?

I always run straight to dialog whenever I run into these kinds of questions, so I'm gonna not use dialog to answer this one, so let's go with my favorite line of narration/prose/whatever you wanna call the non-dialog 😌

One I always come back to is in chapter 4 of OUAD ~ 'They were complex beings, but simple people.'

But as difficult emotionally as that fic is for me to go back to most of the time, one that's really stuck out to me comes from so take hold of me, and hang on 'till the hurt is gone.

'Maybe then the ghosts holding him up against that wall would pass on.'

23 - How do I choose when to end a chapter?

Okay yeah, this one's interesting because it really depends.

I'll decide what points I want to cover in a chapter, the point A to point B if you will, and go from there. But when I'm writing, I try to keep my chapters between 5 and 6k but I try to stay closer to 5, I don't like my chapters to run too long unless it's like a really important chapter then I'll let them go as long as they need to. But when a chapter is getting close to that, I can usually feel that it's getting to that length and I'll decide how to round things out. Sometimes everything works out perfectly and I get everything in the chapter I meant to, sometimes I decide it would work better or the story would be structured or flow better if I pushed a scene or something forward into the next chapter or back into the previous one.

It really depends on what's happening in a chapter, the pacing, and the general feel for me. I don't like chapters to feel too busy or too empty or too long or short, and I just try to keep an eye on the structure and flow of the story. It really is a very fluid process that I've developed a sorta sense for over the years.

Nothing.

Nothing at all existed. Perhaps it would never have existed. But then it did exist. Nothing more than the faintest spark of light now glowed in the deepest depths of what wasn’t.

So was born Light of Creation. It spun the world out of nothingness, finding ways to fill the ever growing space of existence with new life.

Into the realm of Light there came Cansu. Cansu, the first Avatar of Light. Cansu guided and created. Cansu set foot upon the world and when the time came, set forth the laws that all followed: chief of all that the skills of dueling be used to settle all disputes between realms and that honor would reign above all.

So came the first of the four.
