One of the things i especially hate about steves ending is that its so laser focused on peggy like he couldn't possibly miss anyone else from before he was frozen.

Like he just woke up one day and everyone he knew and loved was dead but he ONLY went back for peggy??? What about the commandos?? What about Howard stark?? What about just anyone else that he knew??

They could've shown us steve and Peggy's wedding with the commandos as his first men, they could've shown steve searching for bucky now that he knows hydra still exists and they're experimenting on him, they could've shown us so much more that would've made his ending still bad but less shitty.

But no.

All he cared about was Peggy.

No other important people in his life that he lost when he was frozen for 70 years.

hm... let's see. actually, now when i think about it, i didn't actually see much between them BEFORE wandavision. The closest moment to when i actually started feeling anything, or, rather, to feel actual CONNECTION between them, was probably in Infinity War, but it was Wandavision that like, made me truly look at their entire relationship in a whole new perspective. like, the whole depth and the tragedy of it. I mean, Wanda made mistakes, obviously, and i think if Vision was still alive, he woudn't approve all of that. But i also think that he'd understand her, because i keep backtracking to the conversation they had at the avangers headquarters in the flashbacks, and i really think he was actually more human than he realised. And that whole story.... man, i can tell you, and i'm not joking right now, not even close, that i CRIED at their final goodbye scene. Like, ACTUAL TEARS were rolling down my face. Also, the whole arch with the White Vision is a waste. There could've been SO MUCH to it and it's been like what, 2 WHOLE YEARS since the show? It's like "aight, i have memory now, bye see ya lol" i mean, what? Not to mention what they did to Wanda... I mean yes, she did the right thing and all, but seriously? THEY DESERVE HAPINESS. I just wish i'm gonna be able to see it, because honestly i don't think marvel has THE SLIGHTEST idea as to where they're going with their story, and honestly, that just pisses me off so much. I mean, that's a way to treat one of the strongest/interesting characters/characters arcs ><

Well I've been planning to do this for a while now and thanks to my wonderful mutual @merth-or-nothin who encouraged me, I'm going to be posting my analysis on the parallels between Avangers Infinity War and Season 4, the parallels between the characters, and my predictions for Season 5 based on Avengers Endgame.

Remembering that these films were in the inspiration board for season 4, so there may be many parallels. I don't know if anyone has done this before, but I'm going to post what I think might have been inspiration and how it might interfere with Season 5. My first post will be about the parallels between the characters. other than that, i also love watching cartoons and barbie films. some of my favorite cartoons are oggy and the cockroaches, tom and jerry and spongebob. for barbie films, my favorite is barbie princess charm school. the others are barbie the princess and the pop star, barbie in a mermaid tale, barbie and the three musketeers, barbie a fairy secret and barbie in the pink shoes.

i adore rapunzel so much, my forever favorite disney princess. tmi, i even sang the theme song of rapunzel's movie, "i see the light" for a school project, and it has been one of my favorite song ever since i was a kid.

i'm a huge fan of mcu, my favorite mcu character is loki (my fav ever since i was little, i literally cried so hard at the cinema when he d word at avangers infinity war), other than him i also like eric killmonger, thor, hela, spiderman (tobey maguire ver), phoenix, professor x, quicksilver and magneto. for mcu movies/series i like avangers endgame, all thor movies, black panther, x-men apocalypse and the loki series.

i watch youtube literally everyday, my comfort youtubers are kennedy walsh (loml), sydney serena, thewizardliz, nessie judge (i love her true crime contents so much) and ozley asmr.

i’m a huge fan of cooking shows! some of my favorites are kitchen nightmares, hell’s kitchen, and master chef. these shows mostly feature gordon ramsay and i really love his shows, beside those 3 cooking shows i also enjoy watching his other tv show called hotel hell.

i love listening to music and my favorite singers and bands are avril lavigne (i listen to her music since i was in elementary school), taylor swift, troye sivan, melanie martinez, olivia rodrigo, blackmore’s night, the marias and iron maiden (yes. i love metal songs. so much.)

i also like kpop, the groups that i stan are blackpink, red velvet, twice, ive, g-idle, wayv, nct, exo, the boyz, riize and zb1. let me tell you my ults! my ults are lisa (my forever favorite girlie), seulgi, irene, nayeon, wonyoung, miyeon, ten, sehun, juyeon, wonbin and ricky. for soloists, i like iu, sunmi, bibi and hyewon.

i really love and adore animals! i love dogs and cats so much! i own 4 dogs, they have been my friends for 10 years (and still counting) now. there is also a cat that always come to my grandparents’ house everyday, and i called her “meng” and i usually play with her every week.

Ok, i am late, i know. (That's a Peter Parker line if i ever heard one)

So i read the article and i read all the Bendis comics, i even re-read the original Ultimate Comics Spider-Man series from 2011 that introduced Miles like two months ago, i think. (I am saying i think because i legit feel like some stuff happened recently when it was like 5 months ago and stuff that happened recently feels like something from a year back)

And this article is half right, because YES, MCU Peter is very Miles-like....but the article uses mostly post Into the Spider-Verse examples from 2019, years after Bendis left Miles and after MCU Peter appeared.

Ned is very much a Ganke clone, he is an asian plus sized kid who loves Lego, is a nerd, is into science (he's the one to make Miles his web fluid), learns Peters identity and supports him and helps him with the work.

Tiana Toomes came AFTER MCU's Liz Allen so it doesn't really count as taken from Miles tbh.

His relationship with Cap is complicated, because it started with Cap wanting to stop Miles from being Spider-Man (as he did to Peter, and propably because he felt guilty over Ultimate Peters death) but then grown to respect him because Miles joined the war and forced himself into Caps team and saved Caps life. Also the example they shown in the article is again from 2019 after MCU Spidey got introduced.

They completely missed two big things, his personality and the fact Miles is a big time superhero and a team player, unlike the street level loner Peter who's not really a team-player or a very social person unlike Miles who ditched New York during the (i think that was it's name) United We Stand arc and went to join Captain America and across the country to fight in a war, Peter would go "fuck that, i got a city to protect" and do his work.

Miles is a team player, he joined The Ultimates, made The All-New Ultimates, co-created The Champions, was on every team Kamala was on because they're best friends (with Nova).

MCU Peter wanted to be an Avanger and a big time hero through all of Homecoming, was a team player in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame, works as a team player in Far From Home and No Way Home, his stories are also more big-time.

Now the personality is basicly all Bendis-era Miles, who had barely any charisma, was anxious and socialy akward, wasn't really a wise-cracker outside the mask, was a quiet and nice soft kid. He even had a very signature move during basicly ALL conversation that weren't with Ganke, where he pulled his backpack (or a pillow) over his chest tightly and looked away from people because he was obviously uncomfortable and anxious.

MCU Peter is a mumbling, nervous, socialy akward kid who just reeks of social anxiety when he isn't in the mask. Comics Peter, be it the 616 or Ultimate (who is NOTHING like MCU Peter as the article said), was pretty charismatic and snarky, he was also an asshole as a teenager (Flash and Peter were barking at each other more than Peter just taking the beating), comics teenage Peter behaved like Andrew Garfields Peter, not Tom Hollands. Also Ultimate Pete was an angsty, hot headed, foul mouthed, angry dickhead more times than not.

anyways reminder that the mcu blatantly “borrowed” from miles morales’ character design and passed it off as a redesigned/fresh take on peter parker instead of just introducing miles to the mcu <3

It's really hard for me to decided. I love every Captain America movie (I think WS is my fav from those) and the first two Avengers are also my comfort ones. Infinity War and Endgame are just too sad for me to rewatch, no matter how much I love IW Steve.
