Where are my super Moms of autism spectrum superheroes? . . This personal post is specifically for you! You already have everything you need to nurture and raise them...don't doubt your intuition. - I remember thinking that something was different about him when he wasn't talking much at 2.5 years old or when he did, I couldn't understand him....neither could anyone else...I adjusted to it, and learned how to read other signs or facial expressions....but his Dad and I were the ONLY ones WHO understood what he intended to say...I was hoping that feeling would go away.....I even remember the day that he was diagnosed with autism spectrum at 3 years old...when I was 3k miles away from my family and felt like I had did something wrong......the Drs re-confirmed him as high level functioning autistic at 5 years old.......again at 10 years old.....he is just Master P, the Superdoer to us.....thriving in school and on the basketball courts....the worst thing that I could have done....was ignore my intuition and do nothing. If you have friends or family that may be in denial or unsure when their child is showing several signs of learning delays.....please share this with them......do something. Ignoring the signs (you know when something is off) will not help anyone but YOU by making you feel better...yet, early intervention and prayer is what turned things around for us! Don't walk this journey "alone" when there are so many amazing resources available to help you and your brilliant kiddos! - Double tap if you know & love an autism spectrum superhero/superhero parents! . #autismspeaks #autismparentsrock #autismprovidersrock #specialneedsteachersrock #momonamission #autismawareness #autistickidsrock #autismspectrum #highfunctioning #lebronjamesfan #fitspo #fitfam #healthyliving #futurefirefighter https://www.instagram.com/p/B4Fa4wUD0Qg/?igshid=1ee9e0i8sfhx7

Mom of three children with autism
Having children with special needs sometimes you feel no one understands. They don’t understand you having to bring food to a restaurant, or the funny noise they make. I UNDERSTAND!!! This is my experience and if anyone needs advice they can ask.. I will update often
