The choas that would be released if and when Damians brothers find out he's dating another hero and the shovel talk that would soon be after. The thing is they already have Jonathan a shovel talk cause they had always kinda assumed they'd end up together but when they didn't they were not only shocked but super angry.

But of course they leave it alone cause they don't want to damage their little brothers friendships cause they know he doesn't have many but they notice slowly how much Jonathan and Jay start coming over.

Maybe once every other week becomes every week and then almost every day they are always catching Damian texting someone and smiling at his phone. They become confused.

Soon they start their own investigations cause is Damian dating someone? And on patrol maybe they find Damian sneaking a kiss to Jay and they absolutely loose it.

The theories just run wild!!

Jason: soooo our brothers a home wrecker?

Dick: noooo I raised him better then that!! :(

Tim: I just think it's like one of those stories with the love triangle?

Cue to Damian overhearing this and deciding to be an absolute menace. I think from then on he ropes his boyfriends into pranking them by not knowing who's dating who until the batkids break down and finally sit Damian down to talk to him. Then the big reveal they were dating all along.

What surprises Damian is when money starts being passed around.

Damian: you made...bets?

Tim: well duh *rolls eyes*

Damian is about to kill him until Bruce walks in and raises an eyebrow.

Dick: they are all dating

Damian in shock: :0

Bruce just walks over to the table and grabs the biggest cash pile.

Bruce: by the way Jay is a very informative young man. I approve

CANON TO ME. Ted probably lived off of takeout and fast food until he had to take Pete in and then he couldn't afford to do that every night. He's probably still not the best at cooking but he's great at throwing together random ingredients and calling it a meal. Pete ALWAYS complains because the presentation is so so bad but he secretly loves the food (and some of the weird dishes are now his comfort foods).

They have the perfect adhd + autism duo dynamic where they take turns just yapping at each other while the other listens intently (they never understand what the other is talking about).

When I see him I like to think that he likes sports, especially rugby or basketball. Definitely autistic. Similar to Randall, he does everything Johnny says or wants but instead of seeking approval from him he only seeks to be his favorite member or his "best friend." He is a professional yapper, he also knows how to treat a woman right 🙏. I think he made the team because, being such a fan of Johnny's, he kept insisting that he join him. Gay.

Reggie

He could have ADHD or autism....or maybe both. Maybe sometimes he tries a lot to be more "manly" by shouting or look intimidating (I have a headcanon where he is trans.) I think he doesn't care much about having a partner, he is someone who is quite carefree, he likes flowers. And I like to think that he spends most of his time with Chip as some kind of dynamic duo. i love this man fr

Oh yes, my favorite.

Javier is the type of person who doesn't care at all about what others say. He could be Mexican, maybe when he joined the team he didn't speak much because he didn't know much English and even though he has learned a lot he doesn't speak much because he doesn't want to XDXJDDK. He gets annoyed sometimes because Chet doesn't know how to pronounce and write his name. He may always seem intimidating or "angry" but when you get the chance to meet him he is a different person. I WOULD LOVE to hear his voice, he def has an accent.

Hey so I saw your requests were open and was wondering if I could get matchups for hazbin hotel, helluva boss, and Mystic Messenger please? I'm a trans guy (he/they pronouns), I'm open to any gender with a small preference to girls. Also for the more important and major things about be (at least in my opinion) I have autism, probably adhd (have a history of it in the family as well showing a bunch of signs), depersion, and major anxiety.

So some things about me uh I'm pretty creative, I mainly focus on drawing and writing though I do like acting from time to time as well I've tried writing song lyrics before. I can be pretty sarcastic and I can be jokingly mean but I still try to to be as kind as possible and make sure that my friends are happy and okay. I have a pretty massive sailor mouth and I make a bunch of sus jokes as well. I'm pretty nervous at first not really talking but once I get to know someone I become very loud and talk a lot. I jump around with different interests a lot like for months I'll have one main thing I'll be into with small maybe a week long other things then something new comes and the cycle repeats. While I do identify as a guy I still dress pretty femininity, wearing skirts and dresses because I like to be a pretty guy thank you very much.

So I thought of a soul mate au and needed to know if it was any good cause it's different.

So stick with me as I hash through this half cooked idea that I'm hopefully planning on finishing. But it's an au that we're every intrusive/ impulsive thought you have is you soulmate. Like can you imagine just being in a store and out of nowhere your like "what if I stuck my hand in an oven" and then you stand there all confused cause what was that?

And maybe you can feel a strong sense of emotions for a couple of seconds after that. Almost like a bond sort of situation so it's nothing but confusion being sent to the other person before it cuts off. So your own intrusive thought could happen and then it's nothing but hysteria being sent to you.

It would be pretty funny though with an impulsive action cause you'd being sitting there and have the sudden urge to shave your head and then you just do it. What would be even better if you are standing in a store and someone comes around the corner and you both have the same exact haircut and you both side eye each other until you start talking and your bond starts to grow and you realize-

"This is the little shit who's been wanting to stick their hand on a hot stove 👀"

No idea if this is plausible but this leaves more ideas to be talked about for characters and in some level could work for even work for friends.

Cause for those aro/ ace baddies we gotta figure that maybe it's go varying levels with other people especially when you and your friends share one brain cell and it got left at a target for 3 weeks.

Favorite Childhood Book

A Fada Oriana (The Fairy Oriana) by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen.

It's about a fairy named Oriana that has to take care of a forest but one day, while looking at the river, meets a fish who talks her into neglecting the forest, which causes a lot of trouble. Then, Oriana, has to learn how to repair the damage she made.

It's a book about responsibility, consequeses, the importance of individual action and learning from one's mistakes.

Património Cultural: Realidade Viva (Cultural Patrimony: Live Reality) by Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins.

It's a book about the preservation of patrimony in Portugal under the context of belonging in the European Union in the 21st century.

It's not a very interesting book nor scientific, just a summary of Portuguese and European laws for people who don't wanna read the laws (?). I wouldn't read it on my own but it's a mandatory read for one of my classes in my Master's so I gotta ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I didn't know if I was going to but since GMM seems to be finally trying out more for the GLs, I feel like I need to show my support in this direction so I made the moral choice of watching as it airs to make it clear to them the audience for this is here and we want more of it!

So far ep.1 was super cliché and silly but I liked it a lot!! I want all the clichés for the girls too! Tired of seeing queer women suffer and die on screen...

2. 3 Will Be Free

It had been sitting on my watchlist for a while but I never gotten around to it for some reason... Nevertheless, my latest Wheel Decide™ for what to watch next landed on it, so... I'm watching it now!

2 episodes in only but I'm loving it a lot!! The plot's super interesting so far, really like the way they're going about it. Let's see where it goes!!

Currently Consuming

I'm gonna opt to mention the game I'm currently playing (besides Bloons TD 6, but I'm always playing Bloons, so... not news), which is Heaven's Vault by Inkle!

It's an extremely niche game, focused on figuring out an ancient language and, with it, the history of the world it's set in. It envolves robots, space travelling, discussions on xenophobia and religious intolerence and a lot more. I haven't finished yet but I'm loving the experience so far!

I understand it's not for everyone but I'm loving it!! <3 (not a Mickey D's reference, fuck Mickey D's)

Batman and Robin Year one by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee issue #1 first thoughts rambles.

Well at least he is honest. Maybe by the end of this series Bruce you will be at the level of a B- to B+ parent at very least ha ha.

Also new record 3 weeks that was fast given the standard is 6 months for Dick training in the comic books. Even three months would be more possible but all well, it doesn’t really matter. Then again in The Batman 2004 cartoon he became Robin in what like only a few days and with no training what so ever really. Which is just so funny to me to think back on.

Dick full of anger and rage then cuts to a Happy go lucky Dick Grayson. Hmm, I feel this probably a set up for a later issue perhaps and I did listen to the interviews with Mark and Chris they did say Dick being always happy go lucky is a mask.

Me too Dick me too. Studying and doing well any type of research or homework can be so tiring and absolute torture to do at times. (Cough cough the autism plus the adhd be kicking my ass at times.)

Honestly as a wee lad I would be just as excited as Dick to fight evildoers but on the playground of course ha ha.

But I do like while Dick is clearly excited about crime fighting, he does understand that it isn’t a game. An emotionally mature child for his age yet still clearly is just a young child. Who still has quite a lot to learn about the world around him and the deep dark underbelly that is Gotham criminal underground.

Hmm, let your true self be your mask that’s not the greatest bit of advice I feel but hey he is at least trying. Also Bruce I don’t believe you; your true mask has always been between both Bruce Wayne and Batman at least to me anyway.

(Mutter mutter I could also ramble about how hiding one true self is such an interesting thing for superheroes. Because a lot of early writers of comic books had to mask their true self from the general public as well. Then again people still do that now even today. Mutter mutter another thing I think about sometimes is how golden age superheroes mainly DC feel so heavily inspired by performance mainly circus putting on a show you could say and early stories of heroes vigilantes like Robin Hood and Zorro for example. Jokes jokes Dick Grayson is the true embodiment spirt of the golden age superhero ha ha.)

Armoured capes while yes quite silly as a concept but I love it so much despite it not making any sort real life logical sense what so ever. God I love comic books so much and this level of fantastical logic to them.

This is one of my favourite panel from this issue. Like yes getting this to read this comic is like an early Christmas present for me.

Chris Samnee art is so good. Also nice to see the panels show the duality of Harvey Dent by just panels alone. Dick for most of this first outing has always been rushing on ahead without taking a second to think about it probably because his excitement is getting the better of him. Hmm, I do wonder if this will lead to further conflict between the him and Bruce in the future issues maybe.

Bruce is literally that meme with that lady and the small dog. I have only had Robin for a day and half and if anything happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself.

Wow this first issue was so much fun and it honestly gave me a few laughs and giggles as well. Bruce and Dick bounce off each other so well and their banter is always so much fun to read.

It so nice to see a modern take on how they became the dynamic duo and the growing pains they had to go through to get to that point. Then we have the secondary theme of Bruce Wayne trying to figure out how to be a parent/father figure to young Dick Grayson.

This first issue is already off to a good start at showing how out of sink they’re right now. Even at the beginning Bruce own anxiety is on full display and he constantly overthinking things. As he tries to stay in control while trying to keep up with his overly enthusiastic child crime fighting partner.

Meanwhile Dick is quite energetic, playful and upbeat but while also still showing that he is still just a young child and young children tend to not always think things through all the time and rush into things without thinking. Another thing worth mentioning is how he is at the end of the day still a performer at heart and it shows in his fighting style truly you can never take the circus out of the boy indeed.

The again both of them are preforming in a way behind each of them is their own mask. The mask of the bat who true emotions are hidden behind stoicism and a solemn attitude. The mask of the Robin who true emotions are hidden behind jokes, laughter and an overly chipper smile. Hopefully as the story goes forward they will let each other masks slip off and truly begin to start opening up to one and another.

Overall reading this first issue made me feel like a kid again funnily enough. It has this level of childhood whimsy to it and Chris Samnee gorgeous artwork is such a treat to the eye. Rubs hard I cannot wait to see where Mark waid and Chris Samnee take this story in the remaining 11 issues. :3c

Also quick bonus fun fact did you know Chris Samnee Cover art for #1 references the old 1966 Batman cartoon opening it has a few of villains that appear on the cover of this issue that’s so neat. You can really tell he is such a fanboy ha ha.

I think it'd be very funny if he was inexplicably friends with the Zexal kids. It's giving "introvert who was adopted by an extrovert + their friend group" kinda vibes.

my ygo spinoff 'real world AUs' (pizza AU, college AU) and my bestie @clarktozolt 's MOTHER college AU take place in the same Kansan town, and through a series of primarily pizza and sword related events Primo's inadvertently become pals with clark's AU Lucas, Claus, and Kumatora from Mother 3. He still isn't entirely sure how he got adopted into the fold of these Very Nice People and he's a little scared by how earnest and kind they are but I think they do him some good.

Claus is his roommate and they are BFFS!!!! These two completely unrelated characters have a surprisingly amount of character/theme overlap but we're the only people who have realized this and now we spread the truth. They play swords together now. They're the autism/adhd solidarity dynamic duo. They have two eyes and three arms between them.

we love them SO much.

HE IS ALSO ACTUALLY friends with, Some zexal kids. He's getting there :3c Alito and Girag live in the same apartment complex as Primo and Claus, and Primo and Alito have been hitting it off (as. much as primo can "hit it off" with anyone dfghsg). Sometimes they go box at a local gym together!! (sidenote in tag force Primo has a mild fondness for boxing gloves, which I just think is so charming. ;w;)

we also um. made Claus cousins with A Certain Zexal Character (🥕) so you can imagine the occasional mistaken identity antics that are happening in that apartment complex. Primo's six degrees of separation from half of the Zexal guys really is only like. two degrees lol
