Dean made himself comfortable then picked up his phone, opened the app and began writing… Heartbroken and confused Dean doesn’t know what to do when a woman appears at their door claiming to be pregnant to Dean’s husband Cas. In desperation he turns to Reddit for advice.

It's a true Destiel story like any other - it has angst and hurt and miscommunication, all the drama we love to read. But there is one thing that makes this one special. For all of you Reddit fans out there (and those of you who like to see a different writing style), we present you with this interactive story that is formatted like a Reddit post.

Dean seeks your help and if you stop by to read the comments, you'll notice that most readers answer his questions and give him advice, or just a few words of comfort, which makes this story all the more fun.

It is clear how hurt and distraught Dean is throughout the story, as his updates come whenever he has a spare moment and needs to vent out, or when there's a big event regarding their little conundrum. While we mostly see how Dean feels, if you read between the lines, you'd see just how confused and hurt Castiel is as well. But thankfully, they work it out. And while the event of the story did impact their relationship a lot, I'd like to think it also made them stronger.

There’s a certain stigma attached to an omega who has been abandoned by their alpha. Society will view them as undisciplined, or disobedient, or are they too clingy, too needy, unwilling to submit at a word? Generally, unsuitable. An alphas decision to leave will never be questioned. They will never be scrutinized for walking away from their ‘family’ simply because they found someone with a more alluring smile, a tighter hole or someone who didn’t ask them to tend to the baby, because they were tired from cooking and cleaning all day and were fighting a terrible cold.

And where is an abandoned omega to go? Back to their family? No, they’d find no support there. No one would want that type of dishonor and shame brought to their doorstep, so that door would be closed to them. Even if they do have pups in tow.

There are shelters, of course. State run refuges for the poor deserted wretches, over crowded, understaffed and desperately underfunded. The state has an obligation to provide care and shelter to these omegas, but they don’t want to encourage the type of unappealing behavior that would lead them to these centers.

So, abandoned by their alphas, turned away by their families and let down by an uncaring government, omegas quite often have to turn to desperate measures to earn the money they need to survive, but occasionally, oh so rarely, there might just be a knight in shining armor appear and hold out their hand…
