NAYDC Masterlist of Site Link Masterlists
Basically, I'm going to post a masterlist (it'll be very short) of the posts I just made with the masterlists of the links to each chapter according to which site they're posted on.
Here you go. I hope you enjoy the rollercoster that is Never Abandon Your Dying Cat:
Quotev
Fictionpress
Wattpad
Hannah's Writing Index (author site)
This work is currently complete. There's depictions of dead bodies and sadism toward death. There are pretty intense emotions in this and descriptions of the sorrow of losing a beloved animal. Read with caution.

we cannot let the people saying "legal child-killing" rejoin society without repercussions. this is depraved. i don't want to share a society with you people. the idea of it repulses me. you people deserve nothing less than ostracization and the end of your platforms and careers.

im reading the pairing by casey mcquiston in a somewhat spiteful fashion and on pages 74–75 the love interest is said to be holding a fountain pen and then pushes his hair out of his eyes with the eraser of his pencil ... get a better editor and then tell me what fountain pen it is !!!

If you ever wrote a fic about the ninth doctor and Rose Tyler where she was a housekeeper and he'd had his memory wiped and I think it might have been called "Fob Watch" or something like that, a decade or more ago I hope you know child me loved it so so so much that I hand wrote it down in a journal so I could re-read it in my bedroom at night when I didnt have access to a computer

I love how One Piece takes place in a world where Government corruption, slavery and genocide are the norm and yet rather than make the Revolutionaries the main characters the focus lies on Pirates. Not only are the main characters Pirates but the story implies multiple times that in order to make the World Government fall, Pirates are NEEDED. (See Whitebeard stating that a massive war will follow once someone finds the One Piece).
Pirates are the antithesis of the WG.They follow no rules,no laws and no societal norms. They are uncaring of what the World Government demands, free to do as they want and chase their dreams.Unlike the Revolutionaries there is no structure,no root to pluck,no leadership to kill, in order to make the main organization fall.
Roger with his dying words inspired thousands, if not millions to set out and find his treasure because if there is one thing the government can't control it's people's dreams. He started an Age in which Pirates stand opposed to the WG with the hopes that one day a Pirate would appear, who has the power and allies to take a stand against the WG.

Okay so in light of the current Ao3 donation drive, I’m seeing posts going around about how awesome it is that Ao3 is like, the one site left that doesn’t bombard you with ads and constantly try to sell you stuff. And I’m on board, okay? I’m 100% with you — I’ll defend and support that site till the day I die. It’s awesome.
However, I find this hilarious because the amount of things I’ve purchased and/or tried for the first time PURELY BECAUSE of how they were referenced (or more accurately, intricately and lovingly described) in fanfiction is… embarrassingly extensive 😅
(if you’ve been inspired to purchase/try more than one of these things, then pick whichever one has stuck with you the most)

i know i didn't used to tag fics as 'one shots' because i remember i started doing it after what felt to me like an increasing number of "is there more of this?"/"what happens next?" type comments, and prior to this i'd thought that unless something was marked as unfinished it would be assumed to be complete, but also i feel like it actually was? we didn't even have to call things 'one shot' they were just fics and the outliers were the 'longfics' (which everyone complained about the lack of). and people subscribe now to what i think of as obviously finished fics. (this did a number on my brain for a while as i thought i had somehow just forgotten how to end a story.)
i don't know if anything did actually change (in the past 3-4 years?) in Fandom In General but it feels like it did.

the fucking transmisandry on this site is insane. “no matter what stage of transitioned a transmasc person is, they always have an advantage over a transfem person” HELLO?
the moment we pass we get othered; people assume we’re misogynistic if we pass as well as any cis man and if we aren’t misogynistic it somehow has to do with the fact that we’re “not like cis guys”. either way we’re ostracized
if i have to hear “all men are bad, oh except trans men and gay men” one more time i’m losing it

rant about proshipping because it's 1 am and i can't sleep and i can't find a good fucking fanfiction website and i'm just so fucking sick of everything.
just to preface this i'm not an "anti". just anti-leaning. i'm shipcourse unaligned because i find this type of discourse really pointless and anger inducing. like why the fuck do i have to tell grown ass adults (i'm literally not joking there are people in their fucking forties believing this shit) that shipping a child and their dad is not ok. like what.
ok preface done. now the rant.
i find all of proshitters' takes on stuff really weird. like what do you mean fiction doesn't affect reality? if fiction doesn't affect really, then how the fuck did the january 6 riots happen? i can assure you that the reason they were there was not because there was actual election fraud. if fiction doesn't affect reality, then queer and racial representation in fiction doesn't matter. like people realize that, right? or am i just out of my mind? clearly you can understand how pedophilia and incest in fiction can affect people if you can understand how representation of minorities in fiction can affect people. there can't possibly be people that dense, right? even aside from children and minors reading that shit, pedophiles reading it can make them consider not getting help for their paraphilia and just jacking off to the porn you oh-so-graciously have given them. like does that not make you uncomfortable beyond words?
or their other argument saying that people shouldn't care what others ship? like am i overreacting to be incredibly uncomfortable around people who actively ship minors and adults? why do people even do that in the first place? don't give me that coping mechanism crap, there are *much* more better and efficient coping mechanisms than writing about pedophilia, like writing about the feelings you felt or talking about it with someone. i went through something very similar, but i didn't have to write pedophilic shit and post it on ao3, so why would you have to?
like you are harming people with this crap. you are giving predators something to hide behind. you are giving people who draw problematic things, not even related to weird ships (like people who draw racist and other bigoted things), something to hide behind. you are giving creeps a platform and ultimately helping them in getting their behavior normalized. do you not see the problem with this?
do i, a teenager, need to tell an adult, a person in their mid-forties, that condoning pedophilia and incest, even fictional, is problematic?
rant over. feel free to send death threats or try to tell me to support creeps in the replies or even my askbox. or don't. your choice.

Anybody else know that feeling when you think about a fanfic you haven’t read in years and you want to read it again but you can’t remember the author or the title, all you know is the plot and that it was so damn good and you have no idea how to find it?

i personally don’t agree with your statement what you’re expected to reblog. i thought i could just use this app for fun and to read about my fav artists without being expected to do anything, and never really planned on being active and making reblogging a routine parr of my reading experience
then i guess you're not really aware with how this app works. tumblr is a reblogging site. that's the only way posts, or in this case fics, can get around and reach new audiences. the algorithm doesn't care aboit likes. tumblr doesn't care about comments (but i appreciate those as well!!)
if you enjoy and have fun reading the works of authors who spend hours of their days making content for you to consume, don't you think the bare minimum you can do is click that tiny button at the bottom of the post to show your appreciation, no?
