Summary: Kagome and Inuyasha end up as roommates, but it quickly becomes apparent that there are ... difficulties living with each other. When a friends comment makes them both realize what their anger was hiding, what happens when sparks begin to fly during a fight?

Y’all need to check out the art from Clearwillow, it is absolutely amazing and I only hope I have done her work justice!!!

“I just want to see–” She reached for his clenched hand, and he moved convulsively, pushing her away with the arm he still held and jerking the other hand out of her reach at the same time. “Ow!” Kagome cried when his claws scraped her skin, scoring four thin red lines on her upper arm. 

He blinked, looking up at her for the first time, and she realized that the whites of his eyes were fully red. It jolted the glimmer out of her mind, for the moment; “What– hey, are you ok?” 

He blinked again, and seemed to have trouble forming the words, “I– I don’t– can’t-” He showed his fangs, and they were longer than Kagome remembered. She tried to take a step back, but his grip on her made it impossible. 

She flinched when his hand slid down her arm, but there was nothing to fear; his hand slid down to cup hers, almost tenderly, “I can’t have this,” he gritted out the words like he was hurting.

My favorite part of a project is when you find the art that properly tells the story you want to tell. @lunaticmarkers -- here from tumblr -- ((lunaticmarkers.tumblr.com)) brought to life our story Sweeter Echoes, Crackling Embers unlike anything I could have done alone. They brought their talent and we hit a homerun!

It's actually Friday here in Oz, so I'm being fashionably late. But @elkonigin and I are cooking up something together for Halloween @inu-spiration which we hope you'll enjoy.

Summary:

Working as a freelancer has forced Inuyasha to leave Kagome far more than he would have liked and they’ve sort of gotten used to it. So when a well-paid job opportunity that could allow them to finally marry and secure the house of their dreams comes along he can’t refuse, even if it means they’ll be on different sides of the country for a long time.

Will jealousy and insecurities play their part too?

Or:

Inuyasha is a worrywart and that causes problems more often than not, but in the end, Kagome loves him too much to care.

SPIRIT RUN

Spirit Run, an @inu-spiration collaboration between @classysassy9791 and myself is now live on Ao3! The art that inspired this story is absolutely amazing, and heartbreaking!

Summary: A yokai attack leads to an encounter that shakes the InuTachi to the core, and sends Kagome and Inuyasha on a race for her life.
