the bookmarks you’ve been posting are honestly so surprising to me because like…why??? Why would you save something you hated? Bookmarks for me are to gush (and sometimes summarize). I know a fic was great when my bookmark is just “PAIN (reread 4238 times ☺️)” I also love scrolling through other peoples bookmarks to find the fics that brought them the most joy, like yeah! They loved this fic! I want to love it too!

The only thing I can guess is that people want to be micro influencers with long bookmark lists and recs and want “accurate” takes for every fic they’ve ever read. Like a Goodreads list they share with other people.

But that’s not how ao3 works or should work. And rec lists with a “6/10 good writing but terrible ending” is just not a convincing rec to be sharing publicly, in my mind. Like great, now I’m gonna…not read that fic? Read it?

@pomefioredove has amazing fics! Requests are closed and they seem to be on a fic hiatus, but they have tons of fics you can scroll through.

@solxamber is on a roll right now. Requests are open and they've posted a lot of fics recently (and seem to have a lot planned to publish). I'd def check them out.

@dilatorywriting has some great series'. Requests are closed and they don't publish often, but they have some great world building fics & au's. They also have a monster mayhem series, perfect to indulge during the spooky season.

@faebaex has some bangers. They haven't posted in almost a year, but I think their works are worth looking into. A few series and one offs.

@ceruleancattail is the one to go to with doom scrolling. They have a ton of twst content to look through. Mostly au's, but the world building for the au's is amazing and they don't mind chatting/working off of people's ideas as well.

Last but not least @dark-pink-fantasy is a blog that archives deactivated users twst fics. There's so much there, another blog to doom scroll through.

These are only a few authors (and hours if not days worth of content to scroll through). There are so many more great twst authors that I've missed, but I hope this gets you started on your twst fic binge. Happy reading!
