saw someone ask about this once, so here's the full progression of my balloon smp "hollowing" bit! every couple of days or after significant events, the progression would deepen. I would linger on some stages longer in response to stuff that people would/say to me. bonus angles below, the red color was actually meant to go back to purple at the very end after I put the eye/Cayliss in the portal but I forgot and stayed red lol. I think it worked out still.

Some AUs are just origfic with the names of characters. I want them to be rooted in canon, so even if the names were changed I'd know who they were.

Obviously you might have varying opinions for specific fandoms but generally if you think across many of them which do you prefer?

You have made me interested in balloon smp but I feel so old and of touch because I cannot find the past streams on twitch. Cannot figure out where and in which order to watch...can I ask where you've been watching the videos/streams?

ok, so, there’s ~36 people all doing it concurrently, which is a lot. But! Here is the list of players, if you know someone you like on that list pick them and just watch sequentially day 1->finale. if you don’t know Anyone on there and you want a point to start at for just. Getting most of the plot, pick someone from A B or C. Or E. Team F has a really great plot but they stay a bit out of the overarching plot until the last weeks, and I haven’t gotten to team D yet so I don’t know what they know im sorry team d 🥺

Many of the players have VOD channels up on YouTube or playlists of balloon vods specifically, lots of people who don’t have the streams in their twitch archives somewhere (like, “past broadcasts” usually), look for player vod channels. Some don’t have saved archives and some didn’t stream it! I know for certain sophie robby skull kuu gibson buggle and jame have up to date vod channels because I’ve seen them… woops and skullvolver are making edited videos rn but theyre Both team a… and im not sure who else is planning on it!

tldr, pick someone and watch them in order and peek in on other peoples’ vods from time to time when something Happens because sometimes seeing it from another angle is cool. Also, sometimes seeing it from another angle is Important because there’s Lore no one else got to see. Search “playername vods” on YouTube and it should direct you to the right place.

jame7t: sees kind of all of it from a distance, good coverage, citadel time (I like building streams)

BALLOONSMP VOD LIST (WIP)

being just. vaguely involved in mcyt stuff for a while, i get nervous about perspectives and entire smps become lost media of sorts. I wanted to put together a list of where you can find each balloon smp vod from as many people as possible so that if you want to see something specific, you can! LMK if anything is wrong or if you find vods i was unable to and I'll try and update the list.

The list is below the cut and is sorted by team and include links to where i found vods. dates mentioned are in the DAY/MONTH format, so 21/10 is October 21st, for instance.

A few people have their streams saved in twitch's "all videos" tab but i have no idea if this is as permanent as a vod channel on youtube. Playerlist pulled from the balloon smp site. last updated 19/11

TEAM A

SOCKS: Sock's VOD channel is, in my experience, pretty comprehensive, if a little slow (to be fair, Socks seems like a pretty busy guy and im pretty sure they run the vod channel). as of 19/11 it has no blsmp vods uploaded to it, but she is starting to release edited videos of their pov on their main channel. SKULLVOLVER: Skullvolver's vod channel (provided by shadowfan2002) has a complete list of vods as of 19/11. They are also starting to make edited videos on their main channel. SkullVODver Skullvolver main channel

BUGGLE: Buggle's vod channel (provided by shadowfan2002) has vods up to 30/10 as of 19/11. Will presumably be up to date before long. Buggleboos VODs

SOMADAGOAT: Soma's Twitch "all videos" tab seems to be comprehensive (as of 19/11), no vod channel linked. Soma's Twitch

NORMIE MCGEE: as of 19/11 Normie's Twitch only dates back to the blsmp 5/11 stream. While they did stream before this date, I have been unable to find these vods. No vod channels linked. Normie's Twitch

BREAKBEATBUN: Val's vod channel seems to exclusively be blsmp vods. as of 19/11 it has every one of their blsmp vods. Breakbeatbun's vod channel

JAME7T: Jame's vod channel has all blsmp vods they saved as of 19/11. Jame has said they are missing what should've been the 6th vod, where they visited the abyss for the first time with some team members. This is where the Ortholance comes from which suddenly appears in their hotbar in the stream labelled as the 6th one. Jame7V(ods)

KATYDIIDS: Katy's vod channel only has her first balloon smp vod on it as of 19/11. Her Twitch "all videos" tab has them all, presumably they will be added to the youtube over time. Katy's Twitch Katy's Youtube

ELLIE SPECTACULAR: None of Ellie's youtube channels seem to be for vods. the Twitch "all videos" tab seems to have everything as of 19/11. Ellie's Twitch

COZYBOI: Unsure if Cozyboi streamed any of their blsmp perspective, their twitch seems to only be persona 5 and their vod channel appears to not be up to date.

TEAM C

PADABANA: Padabana's vod channel (provided by shadowfan2002) has all of their blsmp vods and is up to date as of 19/11. padaVODa

AUSK: Ausk's youtube has all of their balloon smp vods as of 19/11. Ausk's Youtube

YOCOW: Yoda's vod youtube has all of their blsmp vods saved on it. Yocow's vod channel

ARCH: it appears Arch either did not stream, or wiped all streams the moment they ended. No vod channel linked.

SOPHIESTEAK: Sophie's streams are saved to her "all videos" tab on twitch, which has them all as of 19/11. No vod channels linked. Sophie's Twitch

GUTSTOSIS: Moth's vod channel is already complete up to the final day. GutstoVODS

TEAM D

BEEPERS: Beepers' youtubes appear to not be vod channels. Their "all videos" tab on twitch has vods from the start of the server through to the end as of 19/11 but they're pretty sporadic so i think some of the middle ones have gone missing, unsure though. Beepers' Twitch

SWINDY: Swindy's "all videos" on twitch has a vod for day 1 and that's it as of 19/11. its recorded as a highlight too i think but its 5 hours long It is also marked as an art stream. I don't know anything about Swindy so it entirely possible they just didn't stream much. No vod channel linked. Swindy's Twitch

TELOSIE: Telosie's Twitch "all videos" channel has vods between 17/10 and 26/10 as of 19/11. unsure if they streamed outside of this range at all, but they appeared to consistently be active on the server. Telosie's Twitch

MANKEY: Mankey's twitch appears to have no vods at all. if they ever streamed blsmp, or were just on it is unclear. No vod channels linked.

KAOIJI: Kaoiji has said on twitter they have intentionally hidden their blsmp vods because they believe "it's more beautiful that way to have my character only in view in other people's perspective". They do have a vod channel but even outside of blsmp it seems to be out of date.

HEAVENLYFATHER: Unclear if Heavenlyfather ever streamed their blsmp perspective. October and early november do contain vods from other, not blsmp related things. Their youtube does not appear to be a vod channel.

TEAM E

BAILEYFEESH: Bailey's youtube appears to have been exploded at some point in the past, all links to it that I could find lead to a 404. No blsmp vods on their twitch.

HOLLOWTONES: Hollowtones' vod channel is up to date, she just wasn't live on the server super frequently. the "minecraft fishing" stream is on the server but appears to be a mostly solo affair. Hollowtonesvods

SOPHIEBABEY: Sophie's vod channel has a blsmp video titled as "finale" that was uploaded on 4/11. her twitch confers that this is indeed the most recent livestream from blsmp. SophieBabey VODS

MYSILLYCOMICS: uncear if mysillycomics was ever live on blsmp but they were ON blsmp. Twitch has no traces of streams and no vod channel linked.

MILK APE: Twitch has vods through from 28/10 to the final day as of 19/11. NO vod channel linked. If they streamed earlier than this, I am unable to find it. Milk Ape's Twitch

RUSTY: as of 19/11, rusty has no vods on their twitch. They were live on blsmp at least twice though. I am unable to find these vods. No vod channel linked.

BOON: Boon only streamed blsmp once because they died day one. This event is recorded on their twitch in the "all videos" tab. I have been unable to find a vod channel. Boon's Twitch

BERD: i've heard berd never actually streamed the smp and nobody ever saw them on it either? if they were even on they've left no trace.

CHEFMAEDA: Serpy was an NPC but they did stream some of it. They mostly stuck with team E (playlist provided by siats). The vods are on the shorter side. Serpy vod playlist

hi! sorry to bug you, but I'm a huge fan of the balloon smp vods and I've been bouncing all over different perspectives. I was wondering if you know, is there any record of the Events of day 27? with the robot soul transfers in team E's basement?

AHH AWESOME ACTUALLY i remember having a lot of fun helping brainstorm for that whole thing & i did my best with what i had

as far as i'm aware i may just be the only person who actually put any of that in my perspective AT ALL so, not to plug my own vods but if you'd like to see an edit of the process, it's Here on my day 28 vod, 46 minutes in! (i think it's also the only recorded instance of Marc's "Remember Me" contingency book. he'd shared it with absolutely nobody, and was overjoyed to find i'd actually saved & included it and hadn't just thrown it away)

the energy was a little different i think because literally NOBODY who attended was streaming it At All LMAO. the reason i'd sounded wholly unimpressed when i saw Bailey's machine in the basement is because i'd already seen it moments prior (blew me the fuck away BTW. crazy incredible presentation.) and i'd forgot to act shocked again for the camera LOL. & apologies for the bitrate, i was running out of time to render the edits & was already keeping my team waiting on Conjurer day, so i kinda cooked that up and threw it in as fast as possible. wish i'd saved any of my offline footage ...

Marc and I both recorded, & i've even sent him some of my audio from that day for his own edits, but he's chosen not to release any of his perspective for the time being. as far as the APPEARANCE of the soul transfer machine in the team E basement, it MAY have shown up on Ausk's (team C) perspective? but i couldn't tell you exactly when/where, i just know they stepped into the machine at some point and had some ... Data ... collected? by Bailey. :)
