as per usual, the end of the year blogpost is me looking back on the goals/resolutions I came up with and set myself in the beginning of the year and see how I managed when it comes to achieving them. read the blogpost here: https://bit.ly/3YwHeTc

(I’m not the one who sent the previous ask, but I’ve also been through something like this, so here is my advice) 1. give yourself time to process the relationship. try to find out what made it toxic, when the red flags first appeared, etc. then, when you see/feel those things in future friendships, address them and get out of there if things don’t change and you are not being heard. 2. it’s okay to feel sad and grieve. you probably put a lot of time, energy and love into that relationship and it probably wasn’t all bad. it’s okay to miss the connection. like the famous quote goes: “it’s okay to miss something and not want it back”. internalise that thought.  3. don’t be afraid of connecting with other people. be as open as possible to a new social environment. the more you surround yourself with people who are good for you, the more you will attract these kind of people and meet their friends etc. 4. communicate that you’ve made bad experiences in the past. explain your behaviour, so if you find yourself in a triggering situation, others know why you might react in a certain way and will help you. 5. practice to love yourself and internalise the thought that you deserve to be treated with respect and love and that if people treat you in a bad way, you don’t have to stick around. you can leave at any time, because you’ve been through this before and you don’t have to do it again. you deserve better. 6. trust your gut feeling. if you don’t vibe with someone, don’t force yourself to stay around. if it doesn’t klick, it doesn’t klick. the right people will find you. 

This is for the girl that left her toxic best friend I’m going through the same process would love to get some advice on how you did it would be great to feel what you finally feel
