Rallying and shouting on roads while carrying those ridiculous play cards is how you, yourselves, are disrespecting the female gender. Now before you come bashing me for how can I not support your so called social cause of raising voice for women rights, let me tell you this is NOT what our under-privileged sisters need, and certainly not what rape victims expect! All we want is JUSTICE, EQUALITY, and a society that's SAFE to live, get educated, play, and work. No, we want to get married, we want to have children, we want to work and support our households. But all that we require is UNDERSTANDING and RESPECT from EVERYONE. We know why Allah has made us women. We are entitled to bring new lives into this world, we are entitled to have protection from MEN, we do not need to name ourselves princesses because WE ACTUALLY ARE. We are that small population of women who are sensible enough to know how we have to carry out our roles according to our deen and duniya. Pata hai why you feel the need to shout on roads? Because ap khud ander se SATISFIED NAHI HAIN. You want to help women, right? So go ahead, koi apko rok nahi raha. Look around you, there might be a lot of women jinko help ki need hai, HELP THEM! I grew up with 4 sisters, my mother raised 6 highly educated children while she was also enrolled as a Ph.D. student, my wife has worked in the aviation industry, and most of my friends are females 8-| !!! - I believe I have all the awareness, knowledge, understanding, facts & figures, and what it feels like to be in their shoes of what problems women face everyday in the form of sister, mother, daughter, friend, student, athlete, professional worker, and teacher 8-| !!! - There are many problems but I am selecting, highlighting, and emphasizing only one problem here 8-| !!! And that is the empowerment of women through higher & quality education 8-| !!! So that they can reshape, influence, and make a dent in this universe 8-| !!! - I have been conducting a survey, research, and interviews since 2013 of many different women about who can name any female scientist 8-| !!! I have asked this question from over a hundred women now 8-| !!! - I went to dozens of girls and conducted the survey on Women March and I believe around 80% of women couldn't name a single female scientist, while 20% managed to answer one name of a female scientist, and only one girl answered two names of female scientists 8-| !!! - 99℅ of the girls answered Marie Curie, only one answered Dr. Aafia Siddique, and another one named Dr. Nergis Mavalvala and this name really impressed me 8-| !!! - The point of this little experiment was to raise awareness that our academic system, mainstream media, and culture doesn't promote female scientists very much 8-| !!! And I believe females would take bigger inspiration and motivation from female scientists than compared to male scientists because they would easily connect with the same gender 8-| !!! जानकारी के मुताबिक, जिन मुद्दों के खिलाफ यह मार्च निकाला उनमें ऑनर किलिंग्स, एसिड हमलों, महिलाओं की शिक्षा से ��नकार करना और उत्पीड़न शामिल हैं। पुरुषों ने भी मार्च में भाग लिया और कहा कि वे महिलाओं को उनके अधिकार दिलाने की दिशा में काम करेंगे। रैली में शामिल लोगों ने हर क्षेत्र में महिलाओं के लिए मौलिक अधिकारों की मांग की। यह कुछ कट्टरपंथियों को रास नहीं आया। इन मुस्लिम कट्टरपंथियों ने औरत मार्च पर लाठी-डंडों, पत्थरों और जूतों से हमला कर दिया।

इस्लामाबाद के जिला उपायुक्त हमजा शफकात ने बताया कि जब महिलाओं ने 'औरत मार्च' निकाला तो पुरुषों ने भी समानांतर रैली निकाली। पुरुषों की रैली में स्थानीय आतंकी समूहों के सदस्य भी शामिल हुए थे। पुलिस ने बताया कि, कानून तोड़ने और हमले के आरोप में मुस्लिम कट्टरपंथियों के खिलाफ आपराधिक मामला दर्ज किया जाएगा।

कुछ कट्टरपंथियों ने औरत मार्च पर रोक लगाने की मांग को लेकर इस्लामाबाद हाई कोर्ट में याचिका भी दी दायर की थी। हालांकि कोर्ट ने यह याचिका खारिज कर दी थी। औरत मार्च पर प्रतिबंध लगाने वाली याचिका को कोर्ट ने उचित नहीं माना था और इसे गैर-जरूरी करार दिया था।
