Something something the certainity Terios had that his fate was defined from start the moment Doleon exposed him to the shards... For a couple of decades he tried to believe that it was not truth and that by being with his friends and brothers everything would be fine, he tried the hardest to have faith his bonds would protect him from the eventual corruption... But there in the bottom he knew that was a blatant lie. He kept telling it to himself though, but the nightmares kept coming to haunt his nights and as one by one his friends were leaving this world forever, he became less and less a believer of the illusion he tried to impose on himself and the isolation was the path he chose to protect his brothers from the evil he was going one day to become...

In other hand his brothers genuinely believed they could save Terios, they still had faith that he could succeed where his predecessors failed, they believed from the bottom of their hearts that their sweet and loyal brother could become such the monster he feared, so they tracked him down and dragged him back home again and again many times for as many decades as they could before he managed to get away for good, but still they never stopped believing he was never gonna fall and his fear was baseless, them both had the certainity their brother was only fated to change his fate...
