In 1967, they finally come home to face the consequences. note: not EXACTLY what you're looking for but hey the year is in the title..... but it's sooo good i'll rec this fic constantly. they do definitely have the same aesthetic that they did in real life 1967 too. but this one is so fucking good. it's got an experimental style that lets you see everyone's pov while still remaining really well written which imo is hard to do when you're doing a bunch of pov switches. but it's outsider perspective mclennon & explores the nuances of their relationship and how it was/wasn't impacted by fame and how they'd still be creative with each other if they'd never gotten famous from the beatles...... also they basically create the muppets which i think makes this worth reccing on its own tbh

so. I read maybe. 2 books or so in 2022, 4 in 2023, and this year I've read close to 20? anyway. that's all to say I have a limited selection to pick from because I only recently was inspired to kick those numbers up <3

Well of Loneliness. I talk about it so much. I think about it so much. there was so much that was surprising to me about this book, but also the way Radclyffe describes Stephen's emotions is sooooo incredibly visceral, and the situations are so. AUGH!!!! stephen's early life and her struggles with gender identity, her feelings of otherness, her realization of her queerness, how she always feels "too big" and too much like a man and how others comment on her body/abilities/preferences, how she feels so different from her childhood girl "friend" (I forget her name, violet?), how Roger picks on her, how Radclyffe painted a picture of being an introspective, othered child is absolutely astounding. and then!!!! literally everything else that happens to stephen!!!! AUGH the family lineage, her dating world, the way it talks about the divide of lesbians vs. gay men and how stephen and mary view being queer and UGH!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!! I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!! and it's written so gorgeously.

Bunny. I don't really need to say more than what we've discussed at length. Before my next book, I think this was legit my most annotated book. they also look like the ramblings of a mad woman. I was obsessed. I think the ideas about creativity are really, really interesting and have stuck with me. No one does the slight abject horror and magical realism like Mona!!!! 🙏🫶😵‍💫

Upstream (by Mary Oliver). I've moved this from the bookshelf to my bedside/desk. it has become somewhat of a daily devotional book to me.

For Whom the Bell Tolls (and much in the same vein, The Things They Carried). I grouped these together because I read them around the same time and they also had incredible similarities and have both stuck with me. When I read TTTC, I was constantly underlining and just annotating "FWTBT" ajddbsj. For as much as I read about Hemingway's "rugged, closed-interior" man, Robert Jordan was surprisingly open and fun to read and there was a part near the end that suddenly brought tears to my eyes. His and Anselmo's "you musn't take pleasure in the killing", the matador descriptions by Pablo's wife, the WHOLE chapter where it describes the public executions..... that was seriously an elevation on a spiritual level for me idk. insane chapter and the ideas of mob mentality etc etc.

Doppelganger by Naomi Klein. don't exactly want to delve into politics on a fandom blog, but this was an illuminating read for me, and I plan to check out her other books as well, esp the Shock Doctrine.

you definitely don’t watch haikyuu, but if you know anything about volleyball you’d know that the pinch server is someone that the entire team relies on to change up the game. they come in when the team is at their wits end and save the say, which is just like you when you randomly pop into the chat and entertain us! you’d be a fire pinch server and would cheer SO loudly from the sidelines.

And a lot of the "past-ish" in the relationship tags have to do with the fact that, well, the songxiao seems pretty one-sided and XY seems to be hung up on XY (his taste in men is at once very relatable and highly questionable).

And I agree, I do think this version of BSSR would have done it even had she not promised, as long as Song Lan was on board with it. I like the idea of her as someone fiercely loyal to her "children" but a bit gray otherwise. Especially after being alive so long--your morals and priorities are bound to be a bit different than the norm.

BSSR is such an interesting character; I'd love to do something exploring her in more detail, if only I had the time!

watched the end of some guy’s amnesia: rebirth playthrough and i have some boring thoughts @halloweenhavoc have u finished the game i feel like you have more of a grasp on all this stuff than i do lmfao what with having actually played it and also probably remembering machine for pigs better

i really did not like fully piece together either the lore of the Main Story of the game nor the broader Amnesia Universe Lore lmfao but i was interested in the latter especially, but re: the former, i did like having all these other Known People associated with the protag whose fates we could all find out and shit

i’m like, sort of underwhelmed, but that’s b/c even though i was like “okay so just b/c this is a frictional-produced amnesia sequel a decade later doesn’t mean you need to hype it up like it’s gonna blow your mind just coz atdd was That big a deal” doesn’t mean i still wasn’t partially like oh but what if it is like mindblowing horror game tho......it felt a lot more like soma than atdd which isn’t in itself bad b/c soma rules but when i’m expecting it to be more like atdd it just makes things kinda bemusing and hard to recalibrate.....it was a good game though lol just like the whole time trying to figure out what the experience is gonna be i guess

anyways so like in the direction frictional’s games have gone it def feels like they’re more into Game Environments (those ruled in this game....) and being very like Thematic Story-Centric.....atdd was very stripped down and they sure got creative with that and it was as effective as it was but yeah it feels like now that they have the clout from that and the game production experience and presumably more resources and stuff that they’re progressing in This Direction which is not as atdd-esque lmao like good for them if this is the creative vision, follow those dreams and stuff

i did like the Other World lore like. this is where alexander is from, Maybe?? i remember he’s mentioned as an apostate from [somewhere else] but like, is that somewhere else in another dimension or just another Region in this world lmao i don’t know. out here Inventing the amnesia potion vitae harvesting strategy, and then it’s Something Else he does that is considered heinous and they just banish him to earth lmfaooo like our problem now......and who is alexander’s wife lmfao. in atdd bad ending, when alexander portals back, does he get to come back to the shitty place where nothing’s going on but eternal vitae harvest i guess? sucks. in atdd sorta-neutral-ending, when you toss agrippa’s head through the portal and then agrippa asks [someone, i forget who....the student? weyer? or whoever??] to Help Daniel, does everyone get to go to this crappy world or are there other better dimensions lmao....also i forget how this The Other World got so shitty in the first place. something something they flew too close to the sun with their technology and it got fucked up, i forget what The Gate even is........i do like this origin story for what the fuck is up with the shadow lmfao. that like, it’s just some other alchemical Invention expressly to fuck up the vitae system?? which is sort of counter to the idea that it’s simply a Guardian of any orbs.....but then also, there was some sort of note or memory that seemed to imply that having fucked up whatever Gate they fucked up created something that sounded like maybe it was the shadow?? or was it just something Else fucked up and b/c it was like “uh oh something shitty is happening here now” i just Assumed it was the shadow.....idfk. but idk maybe since Orbs are Other World Tech For Portals the shadow is just like, Other World Tech Ruiner and if you handle one improperly the shadow will like, sense orb-jostling Lol and be On It....i don’t knowwww

i have a horrendous weakness for jaguar... and boy’s subtle spotting look phenomenal!!! i love all those warm colors, and that accent works so flawlessly on him! i also adore that you could have easily gone for an elegant look, covered in silks and jewelry and such, but you went a much different direction with his apparel and made him a geologist. thats really creative and honestly im a huge fan!!

Gary is my obligatory shadow dragon pick of the day, and i absolutely love him.. but.. i couldnt help but laugh to myself a little bit when i saw that his name is.. Gary. i dont know why, but i immediately pictured Gary from Spongebob going through an emo phase and i just.. couldnt handle it. but uhhhh back on topic, generic-white-man name or not, i absolute adore this guy! honestly i adore when people arent afraid to put the starlight guise on male dragons; let ur men wear dresses!!!! its ok!!!! just look at this guy, he looks fantastic!!! also that mane looks so damn luxurious and fitting on him im kinda jealous tbh. ugh, what a perfect purple imp boy.

i just cant get enough of this guy and his outfit!! its so subtle and yet so striking, and im actually kinda surprised it layered so nicely, i feel like mirrors struggle with layering larger apparel pieces without things looking wonky. i think the most interesting part about him is those bright blue eyes. i feel like the headdress really serves to make them stand out, and it really draws your attention.

i couldnt possibly exclude Agony from this review, because i mean.... just LOOK at him!! Augh hes so perfect, i love those deep reds so so much.  i think the wildness of the mane really balances out the plainness of his primary incredibly well. also, i must say, spirals look infinitely creepier now post-eye update, since their pupils really just look like tiny slits. it so works on him though! makes for a perfectly plague-y effect without all the stereotypical skulls and puss and greens.

finally, the Soft Baby Child award recipient; Peppa! she is such an adorable little permababy, i just cant get enough! she is so terrifically sweet and innocent and cuddly looking, i just wanna reach through the screen and give her a hug! honestly, the fact that her parents are Pongo and Perdita is clever and really pulls on my heartstrings as a huge Disney lover.. not to mention, perfect setup for a Dalmation-based dragon! <3 1000/10, love her to pieces~

Fic, It’s Obvious. You Like Him.

Someone on anonymous said they had a headcanon that Logic was the first to figure out that Thomas had a crush. This fic is the result of that headcanon. I hope whoever sent that headcanon sees this. They had an inspiring idea, and they gave me the excuse to write more teenage Sanders Sides.

Take this as an au or something because I have no idea what Thomas was like in high school or when he had his first crush. I think at one point he said he figured out he “wasn’t straight” when he was eight or nine, which probably involves crushes or something, but I’m setting this in high school. And be patient with me. I’m wtfromantic (quoiromantic) so I can’t tell the difference between platonic and romantic feelings, so writing things about crushes isn’t the easiest thing for me.

Abstract: High school is confusing for emotions, and the three emotional sides are having a hard time when a new acquaintance comes into the picture.

Logic looked over Thomas’ shoulder as he attempted to balance a chemical formula. It took all of his concentration, so it didn’t help at all that the others were there. Just… acting weird.

Patton was there. He wasn’t supposed to play any part in test taking. Roman usually didn’t either. Science took some creativity, yes, but it was a more practical type. One that Logan was supposed to take care of. Anxiety was usually there, but this time he was acting… strange.

Logan mumbled to himself. “Now if we move this and replace that, then…”

“Logan, Logan,” Patton said excitedly, tugging at the sleeve of the schoolboy’s polo shirt. “I think he looked over at us,”

Logan shrugged Patton off. “Get with it, Morality. We’re taking a test,”

“Wait, did you say he looked at us?” Anxiety said, suddenly tensing up.

“Why do you care, Anxiety?” Logan said.

“Can we steal another glance? Just one?” Roman said, bouncing up and down excitedly.

“No! No!” Anxiety said, before pulling himself together. “I mean, nah. He’ll think we’re weird. It’s best to avoid eye contact,”

“You guys. Test? That’s worth ten percent of our grade?” Logan said, not understanding why the three of them had been stealing glances at Thomas’ lab partner the entire time.

“Yeah right, its not like we’re going to pass this class anyways,” Anxiety said, flipping his bangs.

Logic fixed his glasses in frustration. “We’re getting an A, Anxiety. Can you please worry about equations rather than the classmate sitting next to us?”

The rest of the test passed like this, with Thomas stealing glances at the guy next to him when he thought he and the teacher weren’t looking and trying simultaneously to finish the test. By the time they walked out of class that day, Logic was exhausted.

Thomas had a short exchange with his lab partner while walking out of class where they compared what test answers they could remember. When it was over, Patton couldn’t hold his excitement, Roman was humming happily, and Anxiety was murmuring under his breath about how stupid this all was and reliving the exchange over and over again.

Later that night, they still hadn’t dropped it. Roman was singing happily. Patton was looking over the boy’s file in the “acquaintance” filing cabinet over and over again, going over every little thing they knew about him.

Logan took notes from the day’s history lecture and listened to Anxiety ramble on as he fixed his eyeliner and ran the straightening iron through his hair again.

“I mean, now that I think about it, he was giving us a pretty nasty expression. What does that mean? I think he hates Thomas, Logan. Maybe Thomas shouldn’t talk to him anymore,” Anxiety said while concentrating on the mirror.

“Really, Anxiety. All this talk is very distracting,” Logan said. “I am trying to see what we can recall from memory about the reign of…”

“Terror?” Anxiety said with an evil smirk. “Sorry not sorry. Now, I think that tomorrow, we should avoid conversation with…”

Logic zoned out and smacked his head down on the textbook. He groaned a very loud groan that managed to get the other’s attention.

Prince stopped polishing his crown. Anxiety looked away from the mirror. Morality looked up from the file cabinet and replaced his glasses, which he had taken off for reading.

“Is there something you’d like to tell us, bud?” Morality asked.

Logic pulled his face out of the textbook and sighed.

“Are you three going to be like this every time Thomas has a crush on someone? I mean, really. I cannot think. And why haven’t you made a new relationship box yet? This has happened before. For crying out loud,”

Logic could see the gears turning as the three other sides came to the same slow realization.

“We… We have a crush on the handsome young man from chemistry class?” Roman asked.

“Uh, duh,” Logic said. “And last month it was that girl from choir, and last year it was that boy that attended Thomas’ church for a few weeks before leaving. It hasn’t happened often, but every time it does the three of you become completely useless and I can’t stand it. We are getting nothing productive done,”

Patton looked down at the file in his hands and started crying.

“Oh, that explains so much!” he said sniffing. “I love him!”

“Morality,” Logic said, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Thomas has not known him nearly long enough for you to make that kind of judgement. What you’re feeling is not known as love, but infatuation,”

Morality started crying even harder. “What do you know about love?” he said, bawling.

“Oy vey,” Logic said. “In case you’re forgetting, I’m the one that figured out that Thomas likes him that way. And don’t get your hopes up. We’re in high school, and the odds of him liking men is small, let alone Thomas specifically,”

“So its hopeless,” Anxiety said, staring off into the void. “All that worry for nothing. Of course it was for nothing. I mean, why would he like Thomas? We have so many things wrong with us. A freak. That’s what we are. There’s no point to anything,”

Roman stood up. “No! He will love Thomas, and every day for the rest of our life will be spent in his…”

“Augh! This is ten times worse!” Logic cried out. “Would you stop dwelling on it?”

“But I can’t!” Patton whined, hugging the file and crying.

“I’m going to talk to Thomas,” Anxiety said, straightening out his fingerless gloves menacingly.

Logan tried to follow him. “No, Anxiety! There is no need to…”

Logic was thrown back like he had just run into a brick wall and sat stunned where he landed on the ground.

“I guess… I play no part in this,” he murmured to himself as he watched the young prince drag the big brother persona out to talk to Thomas.

Morality clung to the file on the way out, still crying. Logan sighed and picked up a picture that had fallen out and studied it. He supposed that the young man was aesthetically pleasing.

He sighed and lay down on the ground with his hands behind his head. He didn’t understand any of this “emotion” crap. Right now, he wanted to be focused on studying history notes and memorizing lines. Though perhaps, that wasn’t everything being a teenager was about.

He held up the picture of how they remembered the guy. Yes, he was pretty. Maybe for now he wouldn’t butt in. Just let Thomas be fourteen. Have crushes, and dream big and be confused, because that’s what fourteen year olds do.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Tails flew to the brim of the stacks upon stacks of food products Zooey sold as she waved up to him from below.

“Wow, Tails. I can’t imagine how useful it would be to fly whenever I wanted too.” She put her hands together as he flew down, scratching the back of his head.

“It was nothin’. Though I do admit, I never liked my tails at the start.” he looked back to his strange mutation, and flicked them out, before looking back to Zooey. “You could say they… grew on me. Haha!” he stepped to one foot and shrugged out his pun, hoping to make her laugh.

She did, and it filled him with joy to see her giggle.

“And you’re funny too! I wish I had as many useful talents as you do, Tails.” she nodded, and looked to her stacks of fruits and vegetables. “All I seem to be able to accomplish in my life is how to grow things.” she sighed, but kept her pleasant smile.

“Ah! T-th-that’s not true!” Tails quickly sped himself in front of her gaze, shaking his hands out, and then gesturing back to her, feeling a horrible sting on his heart and hearing her think that. “Y-you grow more than that! I mean, you help people grow too!”

“…Huh?” She tilted her head, not understanding.

“Umm… uhh..” Tails turned away, before looking back at her. “Like… when we first met, I thought of every silly, nonethical, and especially degrading stunt you could imagine to get your attention! But once I learned how to feel comfortable with my own skill-set, I learned that it’s okay to be myself around you. You teach people to feel comfortable about who they are, without some cheap, side gimmicks.” he turned shy a moment and kicked the ground with his foot, looking up and then down from her and then away. As if he couldn’t look her in the eye while saying all those truths.

Zooey placed a hand on her heart, “Aww~” she walked over and kissed his cheek. “You’re the greatest, Tails!” she waved him goodbye and went back to work.

He swayed back… and forth… before shaking his head, stopping himself from swooning further.

‘Hey! Compliments gets kisses! Gotta log that.’ He pulled out his cute Hello Doggy notebook and pen, writing his notes down.

He suddenly looked over his notes on ‘how wooing should go, Main objective: Next level!!!’ with Zooey’s name covered in decorative designs and hearts.

He closed the book, pouting.

‘This is taking too long…’ he slowly turned his head to peek around his shoulder to Zooey, unaware of him, at the moment.

“Hmm…” he tapped the Hello Doggy pen up against his cheek, then got an idea.

‘I know! I’ll make a data chart! Once I formulate a fail-safe plan on how to win Zooey over, I won’t need to feel so shy anymore!’ he put the pen and journal away, heading home.

“S-see ya later, Zooey!” he waved behind him, still trying to summon enough confidence to continue being around her longer.

She waved back, “Bye, Tails.” Very casually.

There was one problem… he couldn’t connect everything together into a perfect, foolproof plan… the course could take a number of turns and he honestly didn’t know her THAT well enough to know what would happen if something went wrong… other than her walking away… which he knew of from the first time he tried wooing her.

“Augh!” he fell back on his chair, closing his eyes, “After millions of years with men living among women… you’d think even ONE of us would have cracked the code… or skimmed the surface enough to make one, sure plan of action.” he threw an arm over his eyes, sighing…

Then he got it.

The greatest epiphany of all mankind.

The thing that would ensure that any man could woo any woman!

But he didn’t care about that, he just wanted Zooey to love him!

Or at least… get some more proof that she did, anyway!

He threw himself up.

-scene change-

“I’m sure you’ve all been wondering why I’ve gathered you here today.”

Tails stood on a podium, as a group of ‘men only’ were present for the council, as even the Mayor was sitting in the chair, looking at the pamphlet that stated, ‘How to get your girl, the scientific discovery of a lifetime! -Miles “Tails” Prower’.

“What do you think about this, Knuckles?” Sonic leaned over to Knuckles, not WANTING to be here… but here nonetheless…

He had his arms folded as Knuckles chowed down on refreshments and food.

“I don’t know! Why am I even here? Oh, wait! I remember.” he kissed a piece of pizza and then ate it. “H-hey! It works!” he gestured to Sonic who rolled his eyes.

“Actually, I’m honestly banking on this for the rest of my life.” Fastidious Beaver stated, looking done with the rest of his life…

Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot had disguised themselves as woodland creatures to attend too, as Eggman eagerly took his seat, trying to be inconspicuous.

“Finally! A bullet-proof plan to make wemon all over the world swoon at my feet! With a big enough army equipped with my spectacular weaponry, I’ll be unstoppable! After all, who would hit a lady!?” Eggman gestured, sure this was the right place to be.

Orbot sighed, “I just want to find a nice robot with a heart of gold…literally, that element is known to be quite desirable.”

Cubot shrugged, “Eh. I’m just here to boo. BOO!! BOO!!! Down with innovation!!”

Eggman shut him up by smashing his head down, “Quiet you! I’m trying to come off subtle.”

Some villagers turned around, glaring.

Eggman waved at them nervously, before flicking his animal ear, trying to look authentic.

“Now then, it’s time to reveal my super-exclusive, one of a kind, sure way to get a woman to fall in love with ya! That’s right! I’ve broken the female psyche!”

“He’s mad! Ehem.” Someone called out, but it sounded like a higher pitch… before grumbling back down into a deeper voice.

Tails fidgeted a little, and moved on. “Uhh… well… To be clear, it’s actually rather simple… just… complicated on execution.”

“You’ll have an execution if you’re wrong! Ehem.” that same voice…

Tails shook it off, looking offended.

“As I was saying…” he glared out at the crowd, before revealing his powerpoint! “Tah-dah!”

It had two steps on it.

Sonic raised an eyebrow, as Knuckles pointed and laughed, before dropping it. “I don’t get it.”

“You see!” Tails flew over to it, pointing with his withdrawable stick. “Women, in their natural dialogue, will say something negative about themselves almost 40% of the time. Depends on the mood.” he shrugged, before flying over to step two, “The trick is,” he looked like he was getting excited, explaining his findings. “To really get their hearts going, you need to be able to apply the negative information you just learned… and deflect it!” he swished his pointer out, as the men ‘ooh’d before Knuckles said again,-

“I don’t get it.”

Tails drooped his ears, annoyed, before going back to stage one.

“Okay. Look. It’s simple. But you have to be creative.” he clicked the powerpoint to show a generic girl on it.

“Hey! That’s my sister!”

“Ohh!” he shook his head, “Fine, I have another picture.”

It was another generic girl.

“Hey, that’s my twin sister!”

“UGH!”

Tails clicked it again.

“Hey, that’s my step-sister!”

Click.

“Half-Sister!”

“UGGH!!! Okay, no visuals! Just look at the board!” Tails gestured to it again. “If a girl says something bad or mean or just plain awful about herself, you counteract it by saying something wonderful, meaning, and true about themselves! It’s that simple! The more times you succeed, the more they’ll want to be around you cause you make them feel good about themselves.”

The men all looked around at each other.

“The only problem is that we never pick up on it. We barely notice when we say those negative things about ourselves…” Tails looked down, fiddling with his stick as he slid it around the palms of his hands that were tightly holding on to it. “But… that’s what so amazing about girls. They do pick up naturally on it. And when we do it, it helps them see that we care just as much as they care about us.”

Eggman picked up a tissue, wiping a tear away.

Orbot looked up at him, confused. “Sir?”

“I’m fine. Really… just thinkin’ of momma.” he sneezed into the tissue, getting emotional. “She was always there for me and my countless failures! WHAAAA HAAA HAAAA… MOMMA.”

Cubot boo’d.

“There, there.” Orbot patted his back, “I’m sure she was a lovely lady… with a lovely nose to match her sons.”

Eggman smiled to him, before bashing his head. “Don’t ever touch me again.”

“I would have liked to say I object… but I actually think is rather sweet, Tails.”

“Huh?”

A few people stood up in the room, and removed their hoodies.

“AH!” Tails was shocked, “Amy! Sticks! Z-Zooey!?” his eyes went crazy as he gripped his head at seeing her there too.

“Honey!”

“Darling!”

“Momma?” “My Baby!”

“My Sister-in-law!”

The generic girl smiled.

Amy stepped up to the podium, as Tails came flying down, looking afraid.

“How did you-?”

“What? It’s not like you had security in here.”

Tails glared at the dressed up bears, who nudged each other and ran out.

“Ugh.. did you ALL hear that?” Tails put a hand to his face, worried about Zooey…

Amy placed a hand on his shoulder, “Tails. Although I honestly don’t believe you could have cracked the female mind, I do appreciate the sentiment of wanting to encourage a healthy self-esteem.” she turned to the audience. “Gentlemen. What Tails said has some truth. By noticing and caring about the girls you love, you can show them through more than just simply words that you care about them. That you’re willing to support them, and remind them why they’re so special to you.”

As Amy gave her speech, couples all got together and held one another, smiling up to each other. Even the evil ones~

“As we both, not just men or women, learn to recognize our strengths, talents, and aid each other in our short comings, we’ll make a world proud to be a world! Now whose with me!?” she rose her fist into the air.

“Yeah!” they all cheered.

Tails flew down to Zooey. “Z-Zooey, I-” he felt so embarrassed, but she smiled and put a kiss on his cheek. “Oh! W-wait! I didn’t compliment you or talk great about what you thought was bad or-”

She put a finger to his lips, and shook her head.

“Oh, Tails. Didn’t you say I was someone who helped those around them see the good in themselves? And not in what they should become?”

He lowered his head, ashamed.

She giggled and raised it up to look at his sweet eyes again. “I think it was a sweet gesture to try and figure out what makes me happy, Tails. But everyone girl is different. I think, we both have insecurities and weaknesses, that we can both help each other out on. What do you say?”

He smiled, taking her hand in his. “I say… Zooey, even if I’m kind of a dork…” he looked away, as she giggled again, and he blushed, looking back up at her. “Will you go out with me? Again?” he was worried about saying that last part.

“Tails? I thought we were going out?”

That sentence made sparked a chain reaction in Tails, and he immediately was so happy that he could barely speak it.

She giggled as Amy walked down, clapping.

“Cheers for the underdog!”

“Here, here!”

Eggman threw the pamphlet behind him, “Well, that was a COMPLETE waste of my time! Don’t you men know that women need something to attack and take over too? Like the world!” Eggman quickly dashed off. “that’s it! If I claim the world! I’ll get the girl! WHAHAHA! Who doesn’t like a man with flare and power!?”

“Boo! Boo!”

“Shut up, Cubot.”

Sonic walked over to Amy, “So… You once again spoil the party.”

She smirked, “Like you were enjoying the party.”

He smiled and stood next to her, the two smiling to one another.

“…Any weaknesses I should know about?”

“Emm… Not much. I’m kinda perfect you know.”

“Funny. So am I.”

They winked to each other.
