An explanation.
I don't want to make this about how things happened and I want to return, although I do. Its just a problem, with me most likely.
Over on my other account where there’s just so much more muse happening, I on occasion get a gifset or photo post of Daisy Ridley, and my heart just squeezes; I love taking the role of Rey and creating these universes with my friends, and I sorta left this account to metaphorically rot.
And yeah, it is because of me. I lost muse. I feel like sometimes when talking with some of you, we go in circles. The same ideas the same plots, the same Aus. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I’ve written and created with who I talk to, but I can only roleplay angsty Rey at Ach-To or the Rebel base or circle around a modern ‘school is all i talk about’ Rey so many times. At least with Jack, the possibilities at least seem endless. He’s an average guy, a youtuber, who with the help of others I can throw into a billion different situations. With Rey, she’s already in this fantastical universe, where adding more elements might get muddy. Her Modern verse can only do so much, its purposefully suppose to be normal, plain in the eyes of her main verse, and maybe that’s my fault too.
Looking back the last few months, I’m sure that’s why I let this account sit. My muse just dwindled into nothing, and I couldn't pull myself to reply to things. I haven't really been in the loop of Star wars either (I’m excited for Solo, thoguh!) so I feel.. disconnected, now.
Saying all this, I still might not return. Rey is such a rich, detailed character that I love developing and roleplaying as, but things have gotten a little dull on my side of things. It’s 100% only my fault, if anything any threads are a group effort, and its mine for not pushing these ideas we could procure. I don't know what else to say, I just wanted something to sit at the top of this account for who might want to know. Maybe I’ll wake up one morning just overflowing with muse and I’ll be able to rework this account some and come back. I just cant promise that now.
