Console Sports Games of 1993 - World Class Rugby
Developed by British developer Denton Designs and published by fellow British company Audiogenic Software. World Class Rugby was released in 1991 for the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC to coincide with the Rugby World Cup that took place the same year.
The game was then licenced out to Japanese publishers Imagineer Co and Misawa Entertainment with a port to the SNES being developed and released in 1993, a release in Europe would also happen in 1993.
World Class Rugby's main mode is the world cup mode with a full 16 team competition like the real thing. A league mode is also included as is a friendly mode.

Further AI exploration
I wanted to further explore potential uses of AI, so did some research on what else is currently out there, or what tools are poised to be coming out in the near future.
All the tools listed in this and the previous blog post provide me with a detailed understanding and wide selection of relevant tools that I could use if needed.
Substance AI tools
youtube
Still in development, substance sampler has a new update planned in the near future where the user will be able to write a prompt and generate a PBR texture! This could be very useful for my game.
Blender AI
youtube
Blender has a number of useful AI tools, mainly incorporating stable diffusion into it. I haven't used blender that much so far, as I have a preference for Houdini, so maybe this could be a reason to get back into it.
Unreal AI
Unreal engine has a tool called Ludus AI which is not yet released. (I have signed up to the beta, but not yet received my invitation). This tool is advertised to allow the user to use text prompts in order to do anything in unreal engine, including blueprints. This could be extremely useful for creating blueprints and game mechanics!
Maya AI
youtube
https://www.autodesk.com/solutions/autodesk-ai
Maya has a new AI-assisted workflow feature currently in Beta. I have signed up but have yet to be accepted. The feature allows the user to interact with Maya via text-prompts, it's very intuitive and can definitely be useful.
Sound - Audiogen AI
Audiogen is a text to sound AI generator. This could be useful for creating sound effects for my game. I can further edit these sounds in any sound effects software.
Here is a sound of a laser tank shooting a projectile that I've just made for a test:

Note
But like if you did like a fantasy podcast or like reading fairy tales as audiobooks that'd be really cool
I mean yeah the wizard thing and also the accent you did in that video so
Still though my point stands if you did your regular voice you'd probably be good for like mystery genre I'm saying you have a very audiogenic voice
I would love to, sounds like fun, i would also do a DnD podcast too, just need a better computer and good audio software

Krusty’s Funhouse
Back in 1991, a British software house by the name of Audiogenic developed Rat-Trap, a puzzler for Amiga set into a vermin-festered mansion. The game’s rights got sold to Acclaim, who would later acquire the license for publising titles based on The Simpsons franchise. Rat-Trap underwent some light re-skinning and became Krusty’s Funhouse, landing onto the Game Boy screen at the beginning of 1993. Acclaim’s videogame adaptations from The Simpsons are always either mild or terrible, and the Funhouse sits somewhere in between. The label’s fun looking, at least.
Steering away from the platforming formula offered by Bart & The Beanstalk or Escape From Camp Deadly, this one shares much more similarities to a sadistical version of Lemmings, in that the player, filling the role of Krusty, must redirect a horde of rats into traps and killing devices in order to get rid of them; the difference, here, is that Krusty’s not a distant cursor, but a moving character that shares the map along with the ratties, and will sustain injury if he runs into obstacles! While the main idea sounds promising enough, it’s the gameplay itself that shows fallacies: levels are boring and repetitive with overused strategies, Krusty’s movements are sloshy, and the zoomed screen doesn’t leave much visibility for the map (which should instead be very important in games like these). At least the sprites are cartoony, recognizable and in pure Matt Groening’s style, but it must be said that the Game Boy has been shown many times to be capable of rendering way better graphics. Fun for just a few minutes.
