AUA AU: Left Behind

[THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR RODAMRIX'S AMONG US ANIMATED, SEASON 2. ARTWORK FEATURED ALSO CONTAINS VERY SATURATED/EYEBLEEDER IMAGES]

After the events of Trapped pt. 2, Yellow and the rest of the main Crew evacuate MIRA, due to Indigo and the Impostor hive finally taking over MIRA HQ and killing Dr. White's associates in the process. Yellow eventually discovered the child they took with them was in fact, NOT Glitchy, and turned their ship around, booking it back to MIRA and praying Glitchy was still alive. But upon returning, they discover Dr. White has disappeared. Green was able to talk to Dark Slate Blue and Indigo, who revealed he purposefully sacrificed his colleagues in order to escape, presumably with Glitchy.

Yellow, Green, and young Navy spent the next several years trying to track Dr. White down, but he always seemed one step ahead of them. Eventually, Yellow and Green grow too old to continue looking and accepted Glitchy's death. But Navy never gave up, they continued searching for the lost Impostor well into their adulthood. They feel an immense sense of guilt for becoming Glitchy's Impostor and want to atone for their sins by reuniting the family.

After years of searching, Navy finally tracks down a now dead Dr. White and a full grown Glitchy. Glitchy had been experimented on Dr. White for over a decade, resulting in their Sabotage Button becoming fused with their hand and the very fabric of reality around them becoming warped and glitched.

Glitchy was left horrifically traumatized from their time spent in captivity and felt a deep hatred for Navy stealing their family from them, and attacks Navy with the attempt to kill them, although Navy eventually gets through to them and brings them back to a new and improved Skeld, which Yellow and Green are the captains for. After plenty of hugs, tears, and catching up, Navy acts as a guide to repairing the severed relationships and helps Glitchy work through their trauma.

Went to the pool today and didn’t use my phone even ONCE. Played and laughed and swam with my kid and husband the whole day and I felt like a little kid again myself. Perfect day!!
