Murder Drones Headcanon: Time Travel

In my personal Murder Drones headcanon, time travel is possible (although there is a limit to how far into the past you can go but no limit to how far into the future you can go), and all Murder Drones AUs coexist with the main Murder Drones canon as branching timelines which are the result of time travelers messing with the timeline (Changing the past does NOT change the future, but rather creates a separate, alternate timeline which exists independently from the main one. Basically MCU and DBZ time travel logic). There is also the Ministry of Timeline Preservation (MTP), an organization which is dedicated to preventing the further creation of new branching timelines and in some cases erasing existing ones if they are deemed as a threat. A total of 1,277 branching timelines have been created ever since time travel became possible, and 129 of them have been erased over the course of the MTP’s history, so 1,148 branching timelines currently remain.

Murder Drones Time Machine Design Contest!

more md wof au stuff I kinda rush sketched

quick review I basically replaced the abslutesolver with the breath of evil bc almost 1 to 1 match and all solvers are animi. the last resistance against the HiveWings were thousands of years ago and failed. HW basically demoted silkwings into barely even dragon, a flamesilk managed to get out and burn silkwings out of an animus removal enchantment, silkwing animus appeared and at first they tried to control them by forcing one to make a collar that permanently restricts it but it worked so well they tried to control one out of fear. the boe was ditched years before and the othermind decided to get revenge by taking over discarded silkwings. Cicada was the first, enchanted by an infected animus to be an animus, and all goes similarly. it forced some silkwings into metamorphosis to be these weird hive-night hybrids labeled SwarmWings. animus silks get the special treatment and became silk-nights instead

first one is my idea of heart nori who in this au is onvia. onvia had experimented with growing a part of the BoE to control herself years before her death but was fully infected by the time she was able to use it. instead she only had access to the piece after dying, kind of rebirthed into the mindspace of her own that she had reign over. she eventually grabbed a leafwing corpse to control bc being an unmovable plant is boring. I thought of making it a canon character before I remembered those corpses would've disappeared centuries ago whoops. Also yes she decorated the leafwing with accessories bc why not.

second image is n meeting onvia. also there's solver uzi. incomparison to her silkwing appearance she has a bulkier build and some foresight. also have her learning how to fly with webbed dragon wings (n has no idea what he's doing but is there to catch her so he's doing his best. i actually had planned to have swarmwings have nightwing wings and i might change it to that depending on how much im willing to modify the hivewing base like that.)

tawny, tessa in this au. tawny is the daughter of a lady of a hive and ends up being the remaining hivewing royal after the othermind massacre on the hives. she was crowned at such a young age and thus very stressed and full of guilt. luckily (not) th othermind eventually found tawny to know too much about it to live and after a few times the hivewings stopped some infected silkwings, it just sent one into the throne room and killed her lol. and then wore her body ofc that happens in this au but I'm not gonna go into that until the next sketch :)))).

Ahahah so about that swap force rewrite, :) I've always been super miffed that Whiskers got an evil form, and like a year ago decided to actually just have an alt AU where I'm just rewriting the plot to make it more fun. Most of the gameplay/goals are the same but the story is decently edited. The overall story is the same, but theres this now, and all the fun stuff that could really bring. I could go on a whole tangent about why removing him from the good guy team for that game would actually let the player get more attached to Tessa as a character but thats for the big lore dump post coming up.

Okay, time to do this x'D I'm gonna update this if needed

1: Why is it called "Evil" and not "Opposite/ Anti/ Reverse"?

For short, Evil twin who do the opposite.

This started as a joke from a description of what a contrary version (Evil) of Uzi would be like, eventually turning into something more like an AU where their personalities are opposites or even something like a "What if"

2: Does the earth still exist?

Problaby- yes

3: Khan is a good father who takes care of his daughter?

Yeeees 4: Tessa is still alive?

Yes

5: Do the events happen the same?

There are some parts that happen differently but they don't alter the order of the story that much.

6: How does the solver work?

It affects the same way, only that it was created by humans instead (as an attempt to create a bio-mechanical weapon in drones), this version makes it easier for the host to use (The host can use it to create life or destroy it) but still needs the oil to avoid overheating, but yes, at first the host can get out of control. The host can still develop these bio-mechanical parts.

7: Why N and V have their colors changed and J doesn't?

It was Uzi who gave V and N different looks, since when she met them they had their original colors, and Evil Uzi, being so kind, wanted to help them get unique looks for their personalities (that's also why Uzi has other hair and clothes) J did not change since Uzi did not get to know her at all since J killed herself.

Maybe some things are still a bit vague but I tried XD

thank u C: ... I've trained so hard to get here (played dolls with my Bioncle figures as a kid). Im split on interpretting canon Cyn in two ways:

the OG Cyn was taken over completley by the AS very early on- we see the last cinders of her in ep5 - and what we see now is either "corrupted" Cyn (lost herself in the AS sauce) or just the entity that is the Absolute Solver, so she's innocent.

Cyn is very much complicit in all of this. she's straight up a silly billy that is genuinely evil and is using the Solver (working with the solver?) to inact her galaxy wide mukbang.

my Au kinda mixes the two for Cyn, I wont go too into detail yet (sorry). Cyn has lots of reasons to be angry, especially at the Elliots, and humanity in general honestly. if she was corrupted by the solver -and we're assuming the AS is its own entity here- I genuinely think their shared sentiment of hating humans would've forged an alliance btwn them. I'm mostly interested in how the AS was depicted as being sentimental in the show... Im excited to explore that side in it and Cyn. (:

Her EMP pulse canon was ready, she waited in silence, hearing the wind and the crackling ice below.

The Fixer Drone AU

(Aka “Evil” Drone Tessa)

Uzi Doorman, rebellious robo-teen, sneaks outside the bunker where she lives in order to find components for her railgun so that she would be able to fight against the Disassembly Drones.

Instead she finds herself “hired” as an assistant for Serial Designation T-3554 (aka Tessa), a Fixer Drone sent by JCJenson IN SPAAAAACE!!!! to fix the rebel drones situation on Copper-9… by turning the rebellious drones into Disassembly Drones and sending them to kill all the rebellious drones and reuse their remains to create more Disassembly Drones, after managing to impress her with her railgun.

Now forced to work for the enemy, Uzi needs to survive an insane boss, a near infinite number of abominations that could (and probably will) kill her, two coworkers that don’t like her a lot and the enigmatic CEO of JCJenson IN SPAAAAACE!!!! that is planning something evil that will endanger everyone on Copper-9… at least her coworker N is nice towards her.

Additional Info:

This AU was another creation of me and @roseofhybrids. We put down a couple of ideas a while ago when episode 7 came out about an AU where Tessa was turned into a drone by Cyn and began doing the same to other humans and the rest is history.

Tessa is “evil” and willingly works for Cyn. She’s also not very mentally stable due to the horrors she subjects herself and her assistants daily and has lots of holes in her memories that she’s unaware of. It should be obvious that bad things will happen once she remembers what she forgot.

N, V and J are regular Worker Drones and act as assistants for Tessa. There is a reason for that but it’s a spoiler.

Uzi is trying to sabotage Tessa’s plan but at the same time she starts to respect her because Tessa acknowledges her skills and even teaches her how to make cool stuff. This will have long term consequences in this AU and will eventually bring her in conflict with [SPOILER].

Uzi still has the AS powers, but it will take longer for them to trigger.

There are two versions of the Disassembly Drones: the robotic ones and the “mostly robotic” ones. Both are dangerous but the second ones are more disturbing.

Cyn is known by Tessa and the drones as the CEO of JCJenson IN SPAAAAACE!!!! and Tessa is disturbingly loyal to her since she claims Cyn found her back when she was just a broken and discarded drone, fixed her and gave her the job she loves so much. The rest of the drones have mixed feelings.

i am FERAL for J I want her to be HAPPY and get CLOSURE. That being said, I also want her to stay the annoying corporate goon asshole we all know and love. In your AU with the fankids, I like to think of her as the strict overprotective mom while Tessa is the fun mom. Same with her nieces and nephews (the other fankids). She's the aunt everyone is a little scared of and kinda pisses everyone off, but also the one you go to if you need help

you and me both aughhh I'm SO feral over J being treated like a disposable plot device by the writing team- I mean she seemingly wasn't a beloved character (even her concept art has comments about not wanting to write more about her-) but c'mooooon... ;_; At least give her more to do, even if it's "evil things" ugh.

Tbh yeah she's quite strict. The type of aunt/mom you don't wanna upsetti by being a little shit. Jecka's constantly butting heads with her due to sharing some of these confrontative personality traits, which is quite the explosive mix. J is a very rule-following type of person that has boundaries and rules she'd like her daughter to follow while Tessa kind of softens the blow.

While J's very gentle and comforting around Tessa she's strict with their daughter, which is something Tessa wants her to reflect on... with little success in the beginning. :') Doesn't help that Jecka herself looks *alot* like the old Cyn, which drives J into this "cooperate" mode of distancing herself... but also the conflicting emotions of being a mother to her own daughter.

And let's be honest, even Thad's scared of her. While he'd ask everyone if they'd like to know football facts he kind of "avoids" J if it's possible. 8D She just radiates cooperate aura to everyone that's not Tessa.

In this timeline, Tessa's kindness is enough to convince the solver that not all humans are evil and it decides to not go through with its plans, not committing the gala massacre or the destruction of Earth.

However, it still kills James and Louisa, seeing them is unfit to be parents (kinda based ngl), and attempts to raise Tessa.
