lurking in radfem spaces has really changed my entire view of most mainstream internet spaces because once you realize just how censored women's voices and feminist thought are on these sites, and how much porn and misogynistic values are defended, you can't unsee it.

how anyone can bear to participate in an online space where porn, of all things, is lauded as the bastion of "self-expression" and yet any woman slightly critical of popular cultural opinions is demonized is wild, especially when a lot of that porn is a) violent and misogynistic b) often accessible by minors c) gross and shallow d) myriad of other reasons far better writers have probably described

fuck I'm just so tired. seeking rationality online is just opening a pandora's box of garbage and seeing the reflection of how bleak the social hegemony has become.

so listen. we all know that if they ever made a tlt show it would be bad pretty much no matter what. so my pitch is let’s just give the project to steven moffat and see what he does with it. by the time he’s done we’ll have a show called “john�� all about how tragically and manlily sad jod is and how you know what maybe imperialism is ok sometimes. tamsyn gets buckets of cash, some white guys get acting roles that they’ll regret the rest of their career, and i get a new hbomberguy video essay to rewatch every six months or so. someone call the fucking bbc ive solved this.

I say this as a primarily C3 only viewer (episode 20 of C2 and a smattering of C1 - I will get there one day!) - I found that episode so incredibly delightful and so fascinating to watch to see what Bell’s Hells would take from M9, especially when contrasted to their interactions with Vox Machina. 

Members of Vox Machina give them quests and bestow them titles and offer aid, but they don’t have the time or the space to dig into their motivations or relationships. They are stewards of Exandria, busy with a bigger picture and responsibilities. Contrast that with the Mighty Nein, who cook them dinner, invite them into their tower, and get straight to the heart of what’s weighing on them and what they emotionally need for this mission (yet still fully putting themselves first and prepared for sacrifice). They’re confident and secure in who they are and what they mean to each other and see through Bell’s Hell’s charismatic facade to find people who maybe just need a moment to evaluate what’s important to them as they go on what could very well be a one way mission. You can give them titles and responsibility, but if Bell’s Hells don’t actually believe in that or themselves, they will, like Fjord and Beau suggest, just end up as fodder.  

Anyway, there’s just something poignant and right about those from Vox Machina giving them responsibility and respect and those from the Mighty Nein giving them comfort and belief (and a night in a tower to just be). I just think that’s neat.

ask them which of their friends they'd most like to bite themself (and responds positively for the answer being him)

agree that 'they were annoying' is a valid reason to murder someone

generally be supportive of murder urges

there is a special place in hell for cat owners who allow their cats to free-roam a residential neighborhood because it's ~natural~.

The amount of devastation and heartbreak I have seen from loved ones whose cats accidentally got out makes me like twice as mad too because I cannot. I cannot fathom the cruelty and selfishness required to ignore what we know to be best practice for cat husbandry because your feefees get uncomfies when people tell you it's animal abuse to wilfully, knowingly cut your cat's expected lifespan from 15-20 years to 2-3.

Yknow i get why scara is such a hater when it comes to childe because imagine you’re a 400+ year old puppet with your other immortal coworkers with their dark aesthetics and colors that all fit together in some way shape or form and then your boss decides to hire some 17 year old ginger kid just completely ruining the vibe. Like the color scheme isn’t actually that important i just think its funny but who is this cheerful human boy from a countryside village doing at our evil organisation meeting….
