the  nights  were  quiet  in  camp.  it  wasn't  an  eerie  kind  of  quiet,  but  it  was  obvious  they  were  far  from  the  big  city  tumult  silas  had  grown  so  used  to  over  the  past  few  decades.  he  didn't  mind  the  crickets  chirping,  or  the  birds  waking  him  because  they  decided  to  sing  praise  to  the  sun  in  front  of  his  window. he  was  an  early  bird  anyway. 

but  tonight,  he  couldn't  quite  fall  asleep.  maybe  his  mind  was  trying  to  piece  together  a  string  of  reasons  as  to  why  he  should  skip  lunch  to  squeeze  in  another  session  with  the  axe,  or  maybe  he  couldn't  stop  thinking  about  that  sinking  feeling  of  dread,  knowing  that  ...  after  the  hydra..  how  easy  it  was  to  die. just  like  that. gone.  he  tried  not  to  think  about  it,  really,  but  when  it  was  quiet  in  camp,  his  mind  began  to  wander  even  more  than  it  usually  did.

footsteps  outside  the  window  woke  him,  inevitably  for  the  rest  of  the  night  probably. evil  couldn't  get  into  camp,  right? he  got  up  from  the  couch  not  far  from  the  door,  fists  up &  ready  to  send  whomever  tried something  in  the  middle  of  the  night  flying.

Atticus was very adamant that it had been due to Maverick's lack of communication that the two of them had emerged from their respective bedrooms wearing the same costume that night, and leaving them with zero time to pivot before they had to leave.

It wasn't even that he particularly cared about winning the costume contest, but two Beavis's walking around with no Butthead in sight? That was just embarrassing.

Unceremoniously, he reached around for the back of Maverick's shirt and tugged it halfway over his aggressively blonde head, then taking both of his arms and bending them up into a 90 degree angle on either side of his torso.

Desde que começou a investigar Petrus, Yasemin notou que ele sempre evitava a cachoeira do acampamento e pensou que talvez parte do mistério morasse ali. Porque de todos os lugares tinha que ser a cachoeira? Talvez a peça do quebra-cabeças que precisava para começar a descobrir o quebra-cabeças maior começasse ali. Toda vez que o semideus passava próximo ao local, ele mudava de direção ou procurava outra rota. Isso chamou a atenção dela, e Yasemin começou a se perguntar o porquê dessa aversão ao local.

Uma coisa era certa em Petrus: ele era um baita de um preguiçoso. Yasemin estava começando a acreditar que os deuses iam quebrar o silêncio antes que ele começasse a ajudar na reforminha do acampamento. Porra, era de extrema sacanagem porque ele era o causador daquilo para começo de conversa, e o garoto além de tudo não movia uma pedra para ajudar num chalé ou em qualquer outro canto. Folgado. Acabou resmungando em alto e bom som enquanto rabiscava seu caderno com ideias e sugestões para si mesmo. A turca já deveria ter escrito certa de dez folhas de teorias em seu caderno, uma pior que a outra para entender aquele moleque. O pior era que seguindo ele para cima e para baixo, a garota também se distanciava um pouco das tarefas do acampamento até tomar um chamado de Quiron. Porque ele não falava de Petrus também? Sua reclamação pareceu surtir efeito porque lá estava ele caminhando poucos metros atrás de si para onde o centauro havia os enviado horas depois. Que sorte, agora vou ter que fazer o trabalho por dois porque o folgado não faz nada.

Contrariada, foi designada para recolher alguns galhos caídos de árvores próximas da fenda que sofreram o impacto. Atticus já estava lá para auxiliar e facilitar com seus poderes e assim poderem se livrar logo daquela parte para a passagem ser mais acessível. ❝ ― E ai, Moon? O que vai querer apostar hoje? ❞ ― Perguntou animada ao bater uma mão na outra, as esfregando em ansiedade. Era sempre assim com o semideus, competições de qualquer coisinha se tornou algo comum entre ambos. Começou como uma brincadeira, mas as vezes eles simplesmente passavam do ponto. De qualquer forma, não era o dia para isso. ❝ ― Quíron finalmente mandou ele fazer alguma coisa. ❞ ― Apontou o polegar para trás, indicando Petrus para o colega e antes que pudessem fazer qualquer coisa, um pequeno grupo de semideuses novinhos passavam acompanhados de Joseph voltando da cachoeira, e ele parecia estar engajado em cuidar das criancinhas ali e distrair as mesmas do caos ainda rolando. Não é como se elas pudessem fazer uma reforma no próprio chalé.

A questão é que depois do grupo passar, uma criança atrasada se encontrava correndo para tentar alcança-los e Yasemin até deu alguns passos para frente e gritar o nome do filho de Poseidon, mas Petrus vinha na mesma direção do garotinho que com uma pistola d'agua jogou água direto no rosto do filho de Hades que ficou estático por segundos antes de encarar o pequeno, que pelas características julgou ser filho de Hermes, e simplesmente começar a gritar com a criança. Ela não ficou ali por muito tempo após sair correndo assustada, mas foi o suficiente para que Atticus e Yasemin observassem a situação por mais tempo que o necessário e ver um Petrus completamente surtado ao sair pisando o pé, completamente transtornado. ❝ ― Você viu o que eu vi, né? ❞ ― A ruiva perguntou ao encarar o semideus, que balançou a cabeça num aceno, concordando.

Para quem estava há tanto tempo observando Petrus, ter algo concreto era um milagre. Chegou a rir brevemente, incrédula e cruzou os braços. Se tinha algo que Yasemin conhecia muito bem era aquele olhar. Sim, aquele... Aquele que as pessoas sempre tinham quando entravam e/ou saiam de suas ilusões de medo. Medo. Petrus tinha medo de água? Talvez, talvez ele tivesse ficado apenas incomodado com uma criança atentada. Ela também ficaria, mas olhares não mentem e ela conhecia o medo muito bem afinal era filha do pânico.

Despite the costume mishap--which Atticus would maintain with dying breath had not been his fault--that'd kickstarted their night, this Halloween wasn't shaping up to be too bad.

So they weren't going to win any contests, big deal. The playlist was fire, the drinks were reasonably priced and appropriately themed, and he'd just seen Angel fumbling what looked to be a clear attempt at flirting via a Pokeball to the chest, which wasn't a scenario he ever could have dreamed of witnessing and yet knew was a memory that would stay with him forever.

All in all, the night felt like a success.

The fact that he wasn't doing too bad himself certainly helped. He was currently dancing with some guy dressed as Jorgen Von Strangle and whose biceps were definitely not just part of the costume, but who he could not really hear over the music.

He laughed at what he thinks is said anyways, turning his head in hopes of actually catching the next words to come out the guy's mouth. In doing so, he ends up making accidental eye contact with a dude in a Pikachu onesie across the room.

No, not just some dude, he realizes. Noah. Noah, who seemed to already have been looking right at Atticus.

"Noah!"

Atticus holds up a hand to get him to wait, turning back to excuse himself with Jorgen with the promise to return that he only really half means, but when he looks again, Noah's already started to move from his previous spot.

Maybe he just hadn't heard him?

Luckily, in bright yellow, he's not exactly hard to track down. Atticus clasps a hand on his shoulder once he breaks through the crowd and catches up to him to get him to stop.

"Noah, hey." He grins, unable to keep from tugging on the onesie's hood. "Someone's looking even cuddlier than usual. It's real cute, though. I like it."

It’s a difficult feeling to explain. Noah doesn’t in any way feel possessive. What transpired between him and Atticus had long since been over, and the ‘what if’ soon after. He isn’t dumb. He never would be, but it is difficult. There is a part of him that knows for certain that backtracking to the before of a relationship is impossible. The other part of him hoped for the better.

Then there’s Atticus, who in all of his teasing ways that adds to it. Noah doesn’t think himself dumb to assume he and Atticus were on different pages when while the decision was made to amicably split, he thought they were. 

Atti has always been a physical kind of guy. A hand unfolding a wrinkled collar or patting someone on the back, an arm around the shoulders, and the stupid way he never cared about space. It shouldn’t have felt like it meant anything, but other habits slipped out. His natural way of flirting without meaning it.

Or did he?

No matter what, when Noah sees him at Sharky’s, he holds his cup to his chest, unamused by Atticus’s shenanigans at the party. He has no desire to be a target of his unintended flirtation tonight.

I am enrolled in biomedical courses, and certified nursing assistant (CNA) training and work as a cashier in my grandparent’s vegetable stand which is seasonal.

I’m a frequent and enthusiastic roleplayer who makes sure to reply as quickly as possible given the time to make sure that the reply is higher quality! I’m very flexible seeing as I understand we have lives, and I don’t let careers or education dictate whether I’ll roleplay with someone. Although I love a good and fast reply, real life comes first!

☁️ 003. When it comes to lengths in replies, I love detail. I tend to write over 4K character responses per reply — but this does not mean I expect a novella reply back! I just prefer you write in paragraph forms, third person (being past, present, or mixed tense) and give me something to work with! I don’t want to know just the physical things! I want to know the character’s inter-workings, I want to know exactly what they’re feeling or thinking in that moment!

☁️ 004. I really only roleplay gay romances! Your character can be a cis male, trans male, non-binary masc presenting, etc.! I have some trans male characters as well as cis males, we don’t discriminate! If your character is male and loves dresses and makeup, that’s okay! No discrimination. Is your character female to male without top or bottom surgery? Perhaps maybe not even out yet or visibly masc presenting? That’s perfectly fine.

☁️ 005. NSFW content is plenty fine with me! Adult dialogue always adds depth and I don’t mind! Violence, angst, traumatic experiences, sexual scenes, etc. are perfectly fine as long as we discuss prior! Let’s try to communicate!

☁️ 006. I enjoy various subjects however most of which are very modern and present day, including drama, angst, and conflict. I enjoy playing characters ages mid twenties to mid-to-late thirties! You can, of course, play a younger character (no minors) as long as we agree to which their age difference makes us both comfortable! Non-binary masc presenting characters, trans males including closeted trans males, and genderfluid amab characters are very welcome!

☁️ 007. Omegaverse is a fun topic and I like when we create our own verse with headcanons and pick and choose from other headcanons to build it! I enjoy things like shifters, werewolves, witches and warlocks, and other whimsical characters! I just prefer our characters aren’t things along the lines of faes/fairies, trolls, ogres, etc.! Some elves, nymphs, and other things of course are allowed including merms, fauns, etc. **we can do modern fantasy or more medieval fantasy

☁️ 008. I love crime and drama! Subjects like mafia/gang leaders, assassins, royal drama (medieval or modern), criminals on the run, or even more casual things — CEOs and sexworkers, models and streamers, youtubers and actors, music artists. These things are so fun to me. I enjoy medieval and modern, as long as the roleplay has depth, good characters, and romance! I prefer slow burn with flirting, mind you.

☁️ 009. IMPORTANT — I am an enthusiastic and “extra” roleplayer. I use Discord as my only platform and I pre-make servers for 1x1 organization. They are detailed with places for us to store reference links and images, headcanons and imagines. It’s also important that you know I love having a “canon” roleplay — which is in all cases our first roleplay with our two characters. After that, I like to branch off with AUs, or Alternate Universes. We can have as many AUs at once as we’re comfortable, but it’s important to remember we reuse the same ocs, however the settings and their identities may be different! For example, perhaps our characters in canon are a professor and a sexworker. Yes their personalities are the same, but their occupation, species, and even in some cases gender, may differ. It’s also important you know that I do not expect you to have a wiki from amino or a google doc of your character, nor do I expect a face claim, but I do have them. I also make Spotify playlists in some cases and Pinterest boards for our characters.

the training grounds were usually filled with demigods, training the day away to be as strong as possible and yet nobody was there today. the big hitters, like calvin and silas, weren't there and atticus didn't have anyone he could study. the son of athena liked to spend his lunch time watching the other godlings so he could better come up with tactical plans in combat.

idly making his way to the center of the battle grounds, atticus held his spear in his hand as he studied a few of the other weapons left behind. he started to waving it around and pretending like he was going to throw it, as if he were in the midst of battle. that was until he heard a familiar voice behind him, dropping the spear and nearly falling on his ass.

A cachoeira. Petrus sempre evitava aquele lugar como se fosse uma praga, e Yasemin estava decidida a descobrir o motivo. Após o incidente próximo do local, o surto com o garotinho e com Atticus presenciando tudo de perto junto consigo, a turca considerou sortuda por ser justamente o filho de um deus cujo lidava com ventos para ajuda-la na tarefa que ela mesma impôs para si. O bônus era que o filho de Éolo adorava competir, então convence-lo não foi uma tarefa difícil.

Havia algo ali que Petrus não queria que os outros soubessem, algo que o tornava aquele ser estranho. E a turca não era de desistir fácil, principalmente quando se tratava de alguém bagunçando o acampamento mais conhecido como seu lar. Por isso, ela arquitetou um plano. Bem simplista porque não envolveria tantos passos. Talvez o maior problema era convencer Petrus a movimentar aquela bunda preguiçosa para fazer algo no acampamento. Ora essa, ele chegou fazendo algazarra e nem era capaz de pegar um prego caído no chão? Palhaçada. Felizmente a irritação de Yasemin foi o suficiente para chegar no chalé de Hades raivosa o suficiente para colocar abaixo o local se fosse necessário arrancar o preguiçoso dali. Felizmente funcionou, com um empurrãozinho de uma mentira dizendo ser a pedido de Quíron.

Yasemin sabia que precisava de uma provocação para sanar todas suas dúvidas a respeito do que observou de Petrus. Conhecer o medo de outras pessoas poderia lhe dar uma vantagem imensa, mesmo que seu poder não funcionasse nele. Só precisava da vantagem. Medo sempre faziam as pessoas se desarmarem ou mostrar quem elas realmente eram. Com o filho de Hades, nada seria melhor do que a própria cachoeira. No dia seguinte, durante a limpeza das árvores caídas pelo tremor de dias atrás, Yasemin deixou o tempo passar e realmente colocou o rapaz para trabalhar. Pensou que se talvez ele fosse surtar como antes, seria depois de ajudar! Felizmente, Atticus conseguiu manipular a situação para que Petrus estivesse no raso. Dos males, o menor. E também temia que se ele caísse fundo na cachoeira, provavelmente ninguém entraria para salvar o garoto já que o clube de haters estava cada dia com mais membros.

Já estava quase na hora de pararem quando notou Atticus fingindo sair do local e dando o sinal para si. Apenas na presença de Petrus, era difícil ignorar que estava sendo observada. Não pelo filho de Éolo, esperando sua vez. Era aquela presença gelada e estranha, uma sensação. Ainda assim, o filho de Hades estava visivelmente tenso por estar tão perto da água rasa. Quando Petrus se aproximou um pouquinho mais, Yasemin deu um sinal para Atticus. O filho de Éolo usou seus poderes para criar uma pequena ventania que fez Petrus perder o equilíbrio e cair na água. O semideus emergiu da água, com uma expressão de pavor no rosto, e começou a gritar e se debater. Yasemin correu para ajudá-lo a sair da água no mesmo instante, em falsa modéstia, enquanto Petrus continuava a tremer e respirar ofegante. Ele estava visivelmente abalado, e a ruiva tentou acalmá-lo. ❝ ― Ei, tá tudo bem. Calma, relaxa! ❞ ― Tentou manter uma voz suave. ❝ ― Foi só um susto, você deve ter tropeçado em um dos galhos. ❞ ― Plantou uma situação, na esperança de que ele realmente caísse naquele papo. Chegou olhar ao redor, apenas para se certificar de que Atticus saiu dali o mais rápido possível apenas para não se tornar um suspeito. Por outro lado, Petrus saiu caminhando e pisando firme, sem dizer uma palavra. Talvez abalado demais com a situação, ou irritado. Contudo ela agora tinha uma certeza e sabendo que tinha atingindo seu objetivo, Yasemin havia descoberto uma peça importante do quebra-cabeça.

Petrus tinha medo de água.
