A tall and ruptured cathredal, behemoths jagged beneath scars on flesh and scars in gaze, you were once oblivious to the tranquilizing sea that lived within him for the coarse road to success and fleeting infatuations were all that you could taste as you were nothing but an intoxicated lovestruck fool. Beauty and thousands of paradise breathe on the tip of his tongue, eloquence and his own calice of vigor wash you more and more every single day and you often ruminate how thoughtless you were for not acknowledging them sooner, that perhaps you could have prevented him from landing onto the hospital bed that night, both too innocuous to notice the care and knots that were forming between the crevices of your jittery heart, had you braved your feelings sooner, no matter how rumpled they were. micahvillanelle: Happy Valentine’s, but most importantly, happy birthday to my darling love! You have no idea how happy I am to be spending yet another year with you, and frankly, after all that we had been through last year, I’ve continuously cherished our seconds and moments even more. Everyday I am grateful to have us here, and to find myself coming back into the cradle of your arms - it has been so long, hasn’t it, my love since we first encountered one another. So many things may have changed ever since and we both have grown together as individuals but also as a pair. Like a glue, we’ve never truly separated from each other and even when I was dealing through my toughest times, my mind continued to fixate myself on the idea of coming back home to you, and you only. We may no longer be teenagers skittering around in absolute youth, but it does not mean that my affections and love for you have faded. My heart still beats so thunderously with you around, and whenever you do those little treats to put a smile on my face I am then reminded by how fortunate we are that we have found each other. My adoration for you expands beyond universes and oceans, burning hotter than even the most glaring stars; what we have, our love, is one of a kind, and I am so lucky that in this life I have gotten myself to experience this. You are the center of my world, the mountain that shelters me from any perils, and with you I am loved, and I am safe. micahvillanelle: Back to where my heart belongs and with whom it belongs to. The glorious scent and warmth in the midst of these cold winds, it feels so tranquil to lie my head down and relish the home that we have brought together particularly during our anniversary. I have looked forward to this day for so long, shackled in constant paranoia when you were not by my side and trapped in a stone-cold cage wondering if I could ever witness the sun again, and when I say the sun, I meant to imply the radiance in your eyes that you reserve for me. I am eternally grateful to celebrate another wedding celebration with my love, and it will not be long until our big anniversary as a couple in general, to have another year with you despite all that we had been through these past few months. I’d experienced an abundance of horror early this year, scared that these months would be our last when predicaments began to pile up like no other. Those were the hardest times in my life, admittedly, but it is so relieving to know that our bond has remained, and that we were strong enough together to trudge through even the sturdiest obstacles in our lives. I should have never doubted, I was laden with fear, but if anything, now that I realize with you we could get through anything. You have made me brave, my prince, my knight in shining armor, as you always have since the beginning of our relationship.

On this day, I would also like to say our love is ever-lasting. I still ponder now and then, what I had done in my previous life to achieve the kind of bond that would be so unbreakable and filled with passion, inspiration, and affection, without an end. I have seen love falter and crumble over time, and perhaps at one point believed that it might not have been for me, but yet here we are. You’ve opened my eyes, and what I find quite funny is that both of us had never considered it until we met each other’s gaze, and then I knew from the get-go that you would be a magnificent part of my life and you did not just become that, you have become my life, the air that I would breathe and soothe me whenever I woke up would exude from the embrace of your hold and kisses. We blossomed from such flustered-faced adolescents to an adamantine pair, the one that people would fawn, envy, and write stories about. And perhaps, in our previous lifetimes, we were destined to be the same and we’ve found each other again in this, hand-to-hand, bigger and more ebullient than ever. I firmly believe that my palm is only for yours to hold, and my body to be encircled within your arms and no one else’s. Nothing can ever substitute the delight that I feel whenever we are together, and you know well that no matter how tumultous things could be, I would happily ditch everything behind so I could find you again.

micahvillanelle: All the glamor and lights and luxuries mean nothing when I’m not with my love… Another anniversary for us to cherish and when I say that my heart flutters in delight whenever these occasions chime in I mean my every word, even if those words don’t exactly convey the happiness that I feel bursting within me and my soul. I could go on for days about how fortunate I am to have you by my side even through all of these years - and how none of my feelings have shifted, infact, they further expand and long for you, my prince. It doesn’t matter where we are now, or what we have become, even to this day when I look at you I still see the same young man who’s captured my attention even from the first second my eyes laid upon you. I remember how intrigued I was, of this handsome mysterious soul that had caught me in his arms with barely a word. Other people might have said incredulous things about you, but I saw not even an inch of flaw when we locked eyes with each other and made our first contact. You were enigmatic, mystifying, and regardless of how scarred you might have been, I’d seen the tenderness in your embrace. I recall you mentioned that I too, had attracted your attention for a while, and I thought of how dense I had been for not noticing, too bustled with rows of social ladders that eventually never mattered at the end. Not without you by my side. 

All of that being said, somehow, the constellations had brought us together still and I could not be thankful enough for that. I speak many times about how you’ve helped me grow as an individual, and that is a misunderstatement. You were there when I spread my wings for the first time, and you were always there to catch me when you thought I was going to fall again - just like the first time you had. Nights and days we would spend time together, and I’d open my frightened heart to you, and you made me believe that love would be eternal - something that I didn’t think would be possible. And yet here you are, and yet, you still do even to this day. I have never regretted the seconds I’ve spent with you, let alone years, you are my happiness and my anchor, and even before you mended your so-called blemishes, I still thought, and think, you are the most beautiful creature alive, inside and outside. You take so much time complimenting me and comparing me to the brightest of stars, and you are the one who shines brighter than them all, and within your bask of love, I can thrive.

Once again, happy anniversary, my dearest. Our love conquers each and every single obstacle that has come our way. micahlindell: Enjoying another day out earlier this afternoon in Gapyeong to check out this magnifique place called Petite France which is a village attraction that resembles the place we love the most... Little France in Korea, seems like it’s the perfect combination to represent us as a couple, and not only that, IT’S ALSO OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! My god. I still cannot believe that we have been together for this long, and I’m super delighted to see our five year anniversary as well. I recall the saying that I heard in high school that once you’re with someone that you truly love with the entirety of your heart, soul, and being, time just seems to be within a wholly different realm.... Like it whirls so slow, although weeks and years pass beyond our gaze. Being with you has been an absolute adventure, my one and only prince, you have taught me many things about life and introduced me to the little twists and turns of life that makes it a whole less tedious. Do you perhaps still remember the first time that we met? I was but a mousy girl trying to compete with others, too caught up with I was trying to achieve and oblivious to anyone looking my way... That was until I caught your eyes, when I slipped and you caught me in your arms like we were a pair made in heavens and the corniest romance-flick, but you have captivated me ever since. Our burning, intense kisses have never lost its fervor no matter how much time has passed and even when we get quite elderly and exhausted, I’m certain it will remain that way. The day I walked down that aisle, blossomed even further by the ocean of your eyes, that shy of smile that I admire so much, remains one of the best days of my life -- if not the most. Never have I ever regretted anything ever that we’ve done together ever since, despite the ups and downs in our lives, just looking at you showers me with thousands of bliss and even to this day I still bear the very same question: how did I get so lucky? To be loved so deeply and passionately like this, to hear the words praising beauties that I didn’t know I had before, and to be embraced in your strong arms through thick and thin. VALENTINE’S AND BIRTHDAY GIFTS FOR @dvggerwclf since tumblr won’t let me submit them :/ 

[ timestamp: early morning, february 14th ]

( As the storm rustles fervently on behind locked doors, Micah is fortunate enough to have been able to situate her gifts for her husband next to their bed; pushing through despite the occasional flinches she’d do whenever a strident flash craked outside.

The gifts are all engulfed within a massive velvet box, pristine digits had been the culprit of its delicate ribbon and on the inside --- lies a line of presents she had come up with last week. The first one is a neatly folded tuxedo set, red and black with floral patterns, well-sculpted and quite costly. The second gift nestles in another smaller box, inside is an vinyl player, exquisite and taken from an antique store with the words ‘ mon prince ‘ engraved on it. The third one, sitting comfortably and ensured it wouldn’t get folded or rumpled, is a homburg hat, on the spot where a feather was supposed to adorn it is replaced by a knitted heart. Last but not least, is a vintage polaroid camera. Next to those presents is a written letter, her hand writing scribbled carefully )

My love, my heart, and my soul, even though the weather is not necessarily with us today and we sadly cannot go out on another adventure, I’m hoping these gifts that I have for you can make up for the lack of thrilling times. I bought these last week with the help of some my friends although I had been bustling and planning for a long time, wanting to make this birthday the best for you like I’ve always wanted. I’m aware that you aren’t too big on them but surely, there is nothing wrong with my desire to elicit happiness for my number one prince, no? I sure am hoping you will relish them. I am not always the best with gifts, but now that we’re all quite well-provided, I thought I’d be damned to miss this chance to pamper you even more.

That tuxedo set, I pictured you in it and I’m one thousand percent positive you would look breath-taking, don’t mind the florals if you aren’t too much of a fan, I suppose in my mind it would be fitting, especially with your penchant for giving me the best kinds of flowers every day. I’m hoping that perhaps, when it’s time for us to take on the world once again by participating in the dance contest, you could perhaps don it. I’m sure you’ll dazzle oh so many, yet I will also ensure your eyes remain on me and only me for I have prepared something for myself. xx

The vinyl player, I had it from our usual vintage store. I’m aware that we already have one, but I was thinking we could place this one in our second home? I have, afterall, been seeking for decorations to beautify the place and I think this could be a perfect fit for it! Can’t you already imagine us, heart and fingers laced, and listening to our collections? It would be magnificent.

The third and fourth -- the hat and camera, the former is just a mere mischievous thing which came into mind when I was browsing for the vinyl players; I adore your hats very much, but what is the harm in adding another one, correct? The camera is for you and your gorgeous eyes - you’ve always witnessed the world in such an engaging way, my favorite adventurer and philosopher, perhaps I could also lure you into capturing some moments that you find alluring with this camera. We could even cherish some of our days whether when we embark on another journey or simply staying at home.

Also, there might even be a secret present for you. You’ll get to see it when we celebrate tonight ;)

Happy Birthday and Valentine’s Day, my handsome love. Four years and I’ve never not ravished even a second with you, you are the bearer of my affections, and I have seen you thrive into a man who’s so intricate but also devoted and passionate. From day one you’ve enraptured my being and I shall plant kisses for years and years ahead for us to prosper, both as an individual and a pair, and to always bring you joy, the way you have never failed to elicit mine. You know, with me also being involved to make sure all the sound system would turn out alright, I had to be there and it was so darn loud I could barely hear anything, let alone my own phone. ( text. ) It is graduation, afterall. Everyone was coming from one corner to another, it was almost overwhelming! ( text. ) Can you believe that I’m all graduated now?! As much as I enjoyed some of the classes and rehearsals, I’m absolutely delighted that I’m no longer bound to mandatory practices and juries. College can be super fun, but of course there were some negatives I would rather avoid. ( text. ) But I’m all done! Second best of the class, which is not precisely what I was aiming for but I suppose I could just be relieved that this is all over and I will have a chance to travel more with you before I have to talk to Aria about the whole responsibilities and everything. We have one year all up for us to explore! I’m so excited to be doing things with you, baby. ( text. ) Where should we go next? Should we fly and arrange our second home again? I have missed it so! I think I could go and purchase some more things to be added there, shopping is always entertaining.

LITTLEMICE: Ma magnifique fleurs, so sorry for the late posting on my part. I have been occupied with my glorious husband @orionsbelt / @dvggerwclf whom has just wedded me for the second time and our honeymoon preparation, but as you all may have seen in our previous posts, our wedding ceremony went swimmingly and beyond and it was everything I had dreamed about. Right now I am lying down in our room, I could hear his lazy hums peeking through the silence and I thought, here in the peaceful hours before dawn, I could finally share pieces of my thoughts on the most important day in my life.  Pictured above is moments away after our reception -- I purposefully put black and white on these so none of you could truly see the emotional wreckage we - or I, mostly - had become. For so long I had always sought for this fairytale and experienced several turbulences in life that had made me reluctant, maybe even cynical for the concept of true everlasting love, of witnessing my one and only on the other side of the aisle - however, all of that changed when I met him. The smiling, brave, and mischievous young explorer who has grown so much before me and pried open every uncharted door in my heart, whose love could burnish even the grimest moments -- you have adorned me with endless amor and sincerity for the last four years and never, not for one second, have I ever regretted my decision to say yes when you proposed to me and should you ask me to, I would be more than willing to repeat that night over and over again. We wil continue our sweet venture as the year closes, and I will share fragments of our ceremonial and reception moments now that I am no longer as encaged in my ludicrous rush of emotions.
