On the 24th December, the final episode of TIGER & BUNNY 2 will be live streamed into the Marunouchi Piccadilly theatre with a live audience, hosted by Hiroaki Hirata (Kotetsu) and Masakazu Morita (Barnaby) and also the production staff, Director Mitsuko Kase, Main Screenplay Writer, Masafumi Nishida and Main Character Designer, Masakazu Katsura!

Tiger & Bunny 2 Gets April 8th, 2022 Global Release On Netflix, First Trailer

  The official site for the Tiger & Bunny anime and the official Twitter account have announced the forthcoming premiere for Tiger & Bunny 2 on April 8th, 2022 on Netflix worldwide, along with a new teaser trailer that previews the show's theme song kaleido proud fiesta by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN. Comic Natalie has confirmed that the anime will consist of 25 episodes.

  A month prior to the series premiere, a companion event will be held on March 12th at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Tokyo titled Tiger & Bunny 2 Precious EVE that will debut the complete opening theme and feature special guests, including the band.

    The series, which will be set two years after the events of the 2014 Tiger & Bunny The Movie -The Rising-  will feature many returning cast and crew members from  previous entries, such as scriptwriter Masafumi Nishida returning to handle series composition, and Masakazu Katsura returning in the role of character designer, while new director Atsuko Kase is directing the series under Bandai Namco Pictures.

    The confirmed returning cast currently consists of Hiroaki Hirata as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Wild Tiger, Masakazu Morita as Barnaby Brooks Jr., Minako Kotobuki as Karina Lyle/Blue Rose, Taiten Kusunoki as Antonio Lopez/Rock Bison, Mariya Ise as Pao-Lin Huang/Dragon Kid, Kenjiro Tsuda as Nathan Seymour/Fire Emblem, Go Inoue as Keith Goodman/Sky High, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ivan Karelin/Origami Cyclone, with more announcements in the future.

10. Kazuya Shiro. Hero Name: Bomber. Quirk: Flame Canon. He can shoot balls of fire from his palms. He can control their speed, heat, and range. In order to produce the flames, he has to eat A LOT of spicy food though!

11. Fujin Tani. Hero Name: Breeze. Quirk: Breath. She can create strong currents of wind with her breath. But she can only use her quirk as long as she can puff out air.

12. Kokoro Hirata. Hero Name: Spirit. Quirk: Soul Manipulation. She can control the soul of whomever she makes eye contact with. When controlling the soul, the person is unconscious. She can control multiple souls at a time. The effects end when she blinks. 13. Hachiro Ikeda. Hero Name: Arachnophobia. Quirk: Jumping Spider. He can do anything a spider can. 14. Atsuko Takahashi. Hero Name: Volcano. Quirk: Hot Head. She can manipulate the lava on her head in any way. She can change the temperature, length, and shape. 15. Saya (Saki) Kawasaki. Hero Name: Desert Island. Quirk: Sandstorm. She can manipulate sand and dirt particles. However, if said sand or dirt retreates out of her immediate vicinity, they no longer have control over the particles.

16. Emiko Izumi. Hero Name: Gecko. Quirk: Chameleon. He can do anything a chameleon can. Including changing the colour of his skin to match his surroundings.

17. Yuki Naito. Hero Name: Snowstorm. Quirk: Snowman. He can coat his whole body in snow and frost and ice. He can also withstand cold temperatures and manipulate snow and ice. His quirk doesn’t work so well in the summer.

18. Kiiko Masaki. Hero Name: Iron Head. Quirk: Armour. She is covered in several hardened spots on her skin. She can tank almost anything.

19. Yumiko Sakai. Hero Name: Archer. Quirk: Arrow. He can manipulate any kind of arrow. But if they leave his vicinity, he looses control.

La herida del brazo derecho de Nakayama Atsuko fue causada por su madre biológica Shizu, de cuarenta y dos años, quien le lanzó una cuchillada una noche de primavera cuando la susodicha tenía tres años de edad. Mientras intentaba huir de Shizu, que blandía un acero de Osafune, Nakayama Atsuko se cayó del porche de la casa. La herida en su cabeza se produjo al golpearse con la piedra del escalón al caer.

La mariposa en el muslo de Nakayama Atsuko fue tatuada por su padrastro Sadazō, de cincuenta y un años, una noche de verano cuando la susodicha tenía diez años. Sadazō, que se alteraba mucho cuando estaba ebrio, envió a la madre a una tienda apartada a comprar licor con idea de hacerle algo en el muslo a su hija. La herida en la pantorrilla de Nakayama Atsuko se debe a un perro que la mordió cuando salió corriendo sin ponerse las chanclas y le pisó la cola.

La herida del hombro izquierdo de Nakayama Atsuko se la hizo su primo de su misma edad Sachihiko, una noche de invierno cuando la susodicha tenía dieciocho años. Éste la acosaba sexualmente esgrimiendo un cuchillo con el que la cortó a través de la ropa. Nakayama Atsuko perdió uno de los meñiques cuando trataba de apartar el cuchillo.

La cicatriz en el cuello de Nakayama Atsuko se la dejó su marido Masayoshi, de treinta y nueve años, que intentó estrangularla una noche de verano cuando la susodicha tenía veintiocho años. El país había entrado en recesión y su empresa había quebrado. Desesperado, decidió cometer un doble suicidio. Los surcos verticales del entrecejo de Nakayama Atsuko se le marcaron en la carne mientras se debatía.

La herida de la espalda de Nakayama Atsuko se produjo una noche de otoño, cuando la susodicha tenía treinta y cinco años, al caerse por una escalera. Queriendo agarrar el teléfono que estaba debajo, se resbaló y el golpe en su espalda la dejó sin aliento. Nakayama Atsuko se torció un tobillo al impactar con el suelo.

Nakayama Atsuko está falta de una pieza dental anterior debido a que su hermanastra Akiko, de treinta y dos años, la golpeó una noche de invierno cuando la susodicha tenía treinta y nueve años y se interpuso en la disputa que mantenían Akiko y su marido. Akiko, con una herida sangrante en la cabeza, la golpeó. Por un momento Nakayama Atsuko lo vio todo blanco, pero la disputa marital acabó sin más daños.

La señal en la cabeza de Nakayama Atsuko se la causó su hijo mayor Hideki, de dieciséis años, una noche de primavera cuando la susodicha tenía cuarenta y cinco años. Hideki, un adolescente conflictivo, la atacó por la espalda con un bate de béisbol. Primero le dio en un costado, luego logró rozarle la cabeza. El primer impacto le fracturó a Nakayama Atsuko dos costillas.

La desviación del tabique nasal de Nakayama Atsuko se debió a que en una noche de verano, cuando tenía cincuenta y un años, forcejeó con un ladrón de casas. Éste había entrado en la casa de nueva construcción sin descalzarse, lo que le prestaba cierta ventaja. La susodicha peleó valientemente y lo redujo. Nakayama Atsuko tiene una mención de la policía colgada en su recibidor.

A round up of all the TIGER & BUNNY 2 related news that was released today! First, the most important news, we have a new trailer for cour 2! A reminder that the final set of episodes (14-25), will be releasing on October 7th (yes just 1 week away!) @ 4pm JST - worldwide over on Netflix.

If you haven't seen the trailer already, check it out here:

Next, the cast watch parties, hosted by the troublesome buddy duo - series' seiyuu Hiroaki Hirata (Kotetsu) and Masakazu Morita (Barnaby), will be making its return, with hopefully more cast/staff guests!

The first watch party will be streamed live on the 7th October at 21:00 JST over on the BNPictures Youtube (note - this is most likely to be region locked again). This will then follow with weekly Saturday streams for episodes 15 - 24 at the regular time of 21:00 JST, from the 15th October onward. The final watch party for episode 25 will be hosted on Christmas Eve (also known in the fandom as BUDDY REUNION DAY) on the 24th December!

We hope that Anime Netflix will continue to translate these episodes for us and release them a week after they air, like the 1st batch of episodes.
