Atreus’ Thoughts on you and Kratos’ Dating!

-He’s upset and mad at first. Did father forget about mom? Does he not love her anymore? Does he not love me anymore?

-When Kratos First “introduces” you to Atreus as his lover, atreus breaks out in a fight with his dad and leaves (like he always does)

-He’s mad, his face is red and he didn’t think that YOU would come after HIM.

-You’re Running to find the boy and when you do, you apologize and reassure him that his father hasn’t forgotten about his mother and that you’re totally okay with it. Love is a hard thing to lose.

-Though Atreus doesn’t care what you have to say, he needs to know what his father has to say.

-With tears in Atreus’ eyes, Kratos bends down and gently talks to him. Reassuring him he’s still madly in love with his mother and that he’ll never forget her.

-Atreus’ cries a little bit in his arms and later comes to apologize to you for acting mean.

-You just laugh and pull him up into a hug and twirl him around. He feels…good.

-He accepts it right away, he liked you when you and his dad where friends, and now he likes you even more. You seem to be his fathers peace. You even convince Kratos to let Atreus do what he wants.

-If his dad won’t let him have some wine? You’ll nudge Kratos a bit and flutter your eyelashes and soon the kid gets what he wants.

-Sometimes he gets a little upset at the thought of having a mom…but it not being his mom. He cried himself to sleep the night you asked him if it was alright for you to be his new mom.

-Of course Atreus nodded his head a whole bunch and mumbled something about loving you like a mom.

-It was great! He’s finally happy again…

Shouting into the void but I have been thinking about a ‘Faye Lives, but Kratos dies’ style au for Atreus…

Specifically I blame my Atreus cosplay from Halloween week, but in short the concept stems from an Atreus who took more after kratos in hair and eye color, and eventually learns to wield the blades of chaos in order to honor his father- alongside his bowman skills. Something something loosely following gow2018 but they go to Greece, something probably Ragnarök comes to pass alongside some post Ragnarök stuff

Most likely this verse is gonna be tied loosely to the Fawn Bear Wolf Falcon verse, since inherently all my aus fics tend to exist in the same grander universe…. Just parallel realities stuff, though I mean loosely bc the timelines might ultimately converge to some other fic in the future
