These photos were purely for the aesthetic because it was 98 degrees Fahrenheit today and I had to change immediately after taking them. Anyway I went thrifting a couple days ago and wanted to show off some of the cool pieces I found (ft. my medieval Icelandic sagas notes from the course I’m taking and the corner of my bullet journal). Long story short I Miss Autumn.

i made a july favorites spread!! instead of music this time round, i looked back on all my favorite apps, books, and tv shows + a quote that i really liked. the hilarity of smudging up a quote about building a flawed life is not lost on me, but i feel like it adds an extra layer yk?? do you have any favorites from july?? any recommendations?? as always, open for better quality!!

unrelated caption: Today, I made a database of Korean Vocabulary on Notion. They’re categorized into Nouns and Verbs (Action/Descriptive) then into sub-categories like countries, food, drinks... It’s a tiring task but it’s going to be worth it in the future ! Anyways, I enrolled in another online course (surprise) by Tesda. The modules are long, not kidding, and they’re a lot. 

Remember, you don’t have to be productive all the time especially during this pandemic we’re experiencing. Safety and survival comes first. Please take care of you health (physical and mental health).

not gonna lie, having trouble staying productive w/o my normal school routine :/

in other news, i turned 18! and, despite the non-produtive days, i really am enjoying my break from school and stress. i’ve been able to do more fun stuff like play video games, hang out with my friends, watch more netflix (...and watch e3). i do have a water polo clinic that i am volunteering at so hopefully that responsibility will put some more hustle into me :)))

I’ve decided to to the 100 days of productivity challenge! Since I just started college I’m hoping that this will help keep me motivated to study :)

Some things I did today:

watched lectures and took notes for POL105

watched the 1.1 lectures for MTH122W and attended the zoom call

planned out the beginning of September in my bullet journal

attended the power the polls zoom meeting

Today I finished the book ‘Wilder Girls’. It’s a suspense/LGBTQ+ novel. I personally didn’t like the book as much as I wanted to  because I prefer writing styles that are similar to Montgomery, Murakami, or Tolkien fml.  Tbh, I only picked up this book because the cover looked aesthetic lmao... But I am looking forward to the next book :) I do recommend it a lot, ngl.
