One thing I love about Ategnatos as an album is how this song ties to Breathe - a simple resolution of the theme, but I find it super satisfying :)

ELUVEITIE Announces New Album 'Ànv'

About one month ago ELUVEITIE released "Premonition", the first new music after two long years. Today the band announce their new album "Ànv", which will be released on April 25, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records. ELUVEITIE also shares the second song "The Prodigal Ones" from the upcoming album. After their own headliner tour "Ánv Rising - Europe", which starts in January 2025, the band will hit the road again together with ARCH ENEMY, AMORPHIS and GATECREEPER in October 2025.

ELUVEITIE, formed in 2002 by Chrigel Glanzmann, has consistently merged modern metal with Celtic musical traditions. What a time to be a very niche metal enjoyer. Plus Dynazty has promised a new album on the horizon, as has Aether Realm and, after FIVE YEARS, Ancient Bards V is FINALLY looking like it's going to have a proper release date.

I'm going to be making a few posts detailing my personal thoughts on what has released this year including a tierlist ranking because those are neat and popular. And also fun.

Basically I'm gonna make posts with the C&D tier albums, then the B tiers, then the A's, then the S's, and then I'll make a post with the top songs of the year in my humble opinion.

Prepare thyselves. Or don't. It's time for me to be very annoying about the music I enjoy and hopefully I can spread that enjoyment to others.

Her voice sounds great in any language, and I love it! (I still don't understand a word from Verliebt, it's so cool XD)

(On a side note, I know it's surprising that I haven't gotten my hands on an Ategnatos CD yet, given that it's my favourite Eluveitie album along with Evocation I and II, but there're just so many albums that I've wanted since I started collecting...you know how it goes)
