She closes the door, wandering away from the panda's bedroom and down towards the stairs.

Never in a million years would Cory give out that name. Even if they were dating, that wasn't somethin' she'd ever tell anyone. Never know who you can trust and whatever. And trusting Neera, fucking Neera with that???

Wave was just floating on her gear being generally curious and maybe she liked messing with the Tenrec a little bit!

"Oh, ha ha, very fucking funny. I haven't heard that a million fucking times." Surge was used to some smartass asking that stupid question. Only difference with Wave is she wasn't shaking in her boots and stuttering.

Then Surge had a idea to fuck with them back. "You're one of those nerd types. Why don't you come down here and see for yourself? I'll give ya a nice bite right on your arm so you can see just how sharp me teeth are." Yeah, totally a normal joke and couldn't be taken any other way at all.

Surge took a deep breath, and focused, electricity crackling in the air around her. It bolts from one rock to another, often times gliding over it on the wind. Until it almost goes through one rock in particular, which Surge immediately turns to. She then slams her fist through it, quite loudly, and rips out some copper.

"Ha, easy! I'm getting better at this. Pretty soon I'll get all the copper we need for our work." She says smugly. Kit needed just a bit more copper and he would have enough for the wires. She had no idea that her noise had potentially attracted someone.

Surge hadn't expected that she was going to be put in a situation like this. Normally when she felt her body acting on its own she knew that it was because something, or someone, was setting off that base instinct.

To fight.

That was what she had been made to do.

But right now, all she could tell was that this one wasn't exactly...hostile? But she still felt a sense of anger just looking at her.

"Who th' hell are you? You with Sonic or Eggman?"

Baphomet blinked and suddenly the tenrec was right in her face when she was laying down on the couch a mkment ago. A speedster if she ever saw one, and oh what a joy she had the imoatient personality to match. Why couldn't they be 'nice' like the folk from those comicbooks?

"I suppose you can say, I am acquaintance of Carol."

She matched the Tenrec's tone, but it wasn't until after she said that that it really hit her just what time it was. It was only day when she left moments ago... Traveling between worlds can really mess with one's internal clock. Baphomet made a mental note to remember what time it is here compared to when she left.

Now, as for the subject of eyes, peering into Surge's actually unnerved her in a way not many could ever muster. They were... Unnatural in a way, but how she could not entirely place.

"You- You're Surge, aren’t you? One of Carol's friends? My apologies for barging in. I don't always know what time it is when I appear. Carol would know what I mean, she sorta fell in my backyard a while ago. More like crash landed."

She was actually glad that her sight let her know someone's name at a glance. There was nothing quite like catching someone off guard by stating thier own name before they give it. And throwing in a friends name for familiarity builds trust, or at least lowers some tension with first meetings as questions arise. It was not the first, nor the last time she had used the manipulative tactic to ensure her own safety.

She raised a hand in greeting, "Call me Reaper or Baphomet, whichever you prefer."

Surge watched for a moment, taking in how the other her did this...she guessed it was training. But it really just looked like she was venting her anger, like how she would. The bleeding bandages made it pretty clear to her anyway. Even though the other Surge tossed a metal cap at her, she didn't make the effort to dodge. She just stared with her arms crossed.

"Relax, alright? I ain't got no reason to be beefing up with ya. Just warped into your world, and I heard you breaking shit over here. Not like I'm gonna start crap with you." She says walking closer. "...Is this your way of training? Or just venting?" She asks.

Almost literally shocked out of his reverie, he rubbed his shoulder, hissing at the stinging sensation. And it was tingling- yeah, it was Surge. And... he needed a second- right, Kit, her little brother. Hadn't spoken to him much- or her, for that matter- but he did see them around the palace a few times. He smiled, wincing at the shoulder pain. "Thanks a lot, you two," he said. He looked at Surge. "I'm definitely very lucky, though I wouldn't call myself famous." He looked down at Kit. "And just call me Sonar, eh?"
