Followup to the big Xenilla Arc submission from earlier about Abraxas:
The power would essentially have to combine their attunement to radio waves and their electricity. Indoctrination (at least in Mass Effect- not sure if there's any huge differences in Abraxasverse) is essentially a big electromagnetic field that generates brain impulses- like subtle whispers that eventually drive the victims insane and brainwash them into believing certain things. Abraxas is capable of generating both- but the actual mechanics of doing so are very precise and complicated- especially finnicky to a fighter like them who usually just blind rages with their power until everything's a collective puddle of red. This could be a subject of their fight with Gigan- he's a tricky fighter who knows how to manipulate their rage and cause them to make mistakes, which he punishes accordingly. Abraxas would have to slow down- focus- and be tactical here, find new ways to use their power to beat him. Once they've got the honed control down- they can start combining a subtle electrical field with psionic messages to imitate Indoctrination (weird comparison, but hear me out; it works kinda like San's Thundergasm in Abraxas- only much much more difficult to pull off as it's at a distance and you need to be precise down to the exact neuron or risk causing brain damage).
Reaper Indoctrination is insidious, dark, meant to make you question and doubt your own mind so you give in to the whispers. This is combined with their ships' architecture being meant to throw you off- meant to fuck with you- like a maze you get caught in with your mind telling you to go one way and the infernal noise in the back of your head telling you to go somewhere else. Abraxas's Indoctrination would be the opposite- meant to reassure, to comfort, to remind you to trust yourself, to remind of happier times. This could also be Vivienne's opportunity to mirror what San did for her within Jonah's captivity- being the voice to reassure her when she was so close to giving up. Now she has the power to whisper words of encouragement to her allies just like he did for her so long ago. This could be coupled with a soothing locale to reinforce peace- like somewhere natural.
One of the reasons I think it would be so powerful for Abraxas to have access to this is something specifically about Vivienne and her ancestry: Bone Singing. To amplify the ancient songs in this way would be an advancement of the technique- a true evolution that not even the most ancient of Titans knew was possible; and it would be powerful to hear. Like a song sung in the back of your mind- one that reminds you of the great old days- that calls back to a people long forgotten. Abraxas wouldn't just live up to the Bone Singer name, they'd surpass it; becoming something completely different but familiar. Imagine being a freaked out, mentally scarred Godzilla- or Rodan not knowing if he's going to survive infection or end up like Ozzy- and hearing a two-man chorus in the back of your head singing the songs that brought you joy and companionship so long ago, coupled with calming whispers from either San or Vivienne.
If anything, I think this should be what brings Ozzy back from the brink, and recontextualizing him as a suffering victim in the same light that Vivienne was back at the beginning of Abraxas would be pitch perfect character growth- giving her a chance to tell him the things she wish she told herself, connect with him on that level, essentially be to him what San or Mothra was to her when she was first going through it.
This power would also fall in line with the theme of- well, the name of Abraxas. Reaper Indoctrination was undoubtably one of the most evil inventions ever made- in a very similar light that Ghidorah's powers were. But just like those- the power now belongs to Abraxas. "You inherit it and that makes it YOURS now. No one else's. YOURS. Good, bad? Words. Power is a tool. You decide how to use it."
You know, I like this. Abraxas becoming more than just an Executioner Titan (though they absolutely will do violent bad things if need be, that's part of the name's territory) but will go out of their way to help.
"I have slain gods and demons. I have brought unimaginable horrors into existence and I have exorcised them. I bring no evil here. Have no fear. Be at peace. Here, you are safe. Here, you can dream of times long past. May they be sweet anodyne to your weary soul."

"Another day or two?" Helena gruffs.
"Yeah, um, sorry," Myka replies.
"That storm postponing your flight was one thing, but this? You are aware our rental is expiring eminently."
"Maybe we can extend?"
"I already inquired."
"And?"
Helena grimaces, nose wrinkling.
"I-I'll find us a new one."
"No, I shall, since I've clearly been left to my own devices."
"I'm coming soon, I promise!" Myka yelps. "I'll stay wherever you want. Extend the car rental, too."
"If I must swap it at the airport, I shall be cross."
"More cross than now? How is that even possible?" Myka jabs.
"I believe you know the answer," Helena says, deadpan. "What exactly is keeping you there?"
"I'm figuring something out but it's more complicated than I thought."
"And this 'something,' how long am I to remain in the dark?"
"Not long, but..." Myka's shoulders sag. "I might as well tell you."
"If it's such a burden—"
"No! I wanted to iron out the details first." Myka heaves a heavy sigh. "Ok, here it goes...I'm figuring out how to work remotely. Mostly."
Helena perks up. "This is something you truly wish to do?"
"I..." Myka pushes a hand through her hair, stopping halfway, looking off to the side. "I've been thinking about what you said, that the Warehouse needs to evolve, that it's stuck in the nineteenth century."
"Such a travesty; agents sequestered in a boarding house with modern communication and travel as they are."
"It's not so bad, having your friends there when you need them." Myka's hand drops to her side. "I do love my family here, but if I'm honest, it hasn't felt the same since Leena died."
"May I say again how truly sorry I am for your loss. She was an extraordinary woman."
"She really was." Myka blinks back a tear and looks down. "But it's more than that. What you said about only traveling for work, of never really visiting a place, that stuck with me, too. How you want to take advantage of all this new world has to offer, things I take for granted, because you've been given a second chance."
"I can be quite persuasive when I wish to," Helena says, lips turning up at the ends.
"And I love you for it." Myka's smile matches Helena's.
"But those are my wishes. What are your own?" Helena asks.
"I think it's worth fighting for change, even if making up rules as we go scares me."
"You are fond of protocol."
"And you're not. So we complement each other. Or cancel each other out," Myka says, lips lifting into a crooked grin.
Helena huffs a short laugh. "And Pete? How is he faring?"
"He's super bummed, but I think he understands." Myka shifts in her seat, sitting up straighter. "You might hear from him. He said he wants to have a chat."
"What about?"
"A 'big brother' kind of thing."
"I'm surprised he's waited this long."
"Me too."
The air quiets, each waiting for the other to continue.
"There is one other thing. An, um, 'condition," Myka says.
"Just the one?"
"Hey..."
"I'd expect nothing less. Go on."
"I can't go on missions alone."
"Nor would I allow you to."
"Do you see where I'm going with this?"
"While you're working, someone will join you."
"Yeah, you."
"But I'm no longer an—"
"They want to reinstate you."
"Myka..."
"I know, I know," Myka says, waving her hands in surrender. "It'd be on your terms. I'll make sure of that. And I'll keep you in check."
"That's a tall order."
"Believe me, I know."
Helena grasps at her locket and works a thumb over its smooth metal case.
"We'd have our autonomy, mostly. Be working part-time. We're already doing it unofficially anyway. And I think we work well together." Myka flashes a smug smile.
"And the distance from the Warehouse? How will you manage?"
"Abigail agreed to be our eyes in the archive. And we already have access to the database."
Helena stares at Myka for a long moment, fingers clutching her locket. "Can this truly be?"
"I think so. I'm hashing out details with Jane, but we need a few more days," Myka says, smiling. "Find us a place to stay for a couple of weeks. We can figure out what happens next from there."
"With pleasure," Helena says.
"So...can I tell them you're Agent Wells again?"
"I've further terms to discuss."
"Send them over. I'll make sure you get what you want."
Smiles grow wider as they hold each other's gazes.
"So...what'd you get up to yesterday?" Myka asks.
"I traveled by cable car up Hyde Street. The views were breathtaking."
"You did that without me?"
"I was tired of waiting."
"Do not go to Twin Peaks or Coit Tower. We're doing those together."
"I shant. Perhaps I'll peruse City Light Books again and linger in Jackson Square."
"That's where those buildings from the 1800's survived the earthquake."
"Indeed."
"Are you feeling a sense of closure, being there?"
"I believe we could have had quite a pleasant life here in my day. But closure, that may only truly begin upon your arrival."
"I can't wait," Myka says, grinning wildly.
-END SCENE-

Bering and Wells: New Horizons ("Warehouse 13" Season 5 replacement) Season 1: Episode 8 Title: San Francisco: The 415 Blues Summary: A freak storm delays Myka's flight to San Francisco. Helena learns Myka's taken on more while home than just dropping off an artifact. New paths are revealed while working through a difficult retrieval, as well as an ask that may take them to foreign shores.
Previously: Episodes 1-7 (look in my archive as adding links broke my post last time)

Tumblr media
After assessing the scene of a retrieval, Myka and Helena duck into a coffee shop.
"That facade's massive! How would we know which one?" Myka asks.
"'It'll be obvious,' Artie said. Far from it," Helena snips.
"Maybe spray it with neutralizer and see what sparks?"
"It's a landmarked structure, too high-key."
"True," Myka says, frowning. "Artie said it was a chain reaction. One brick radiating into the others. Remove the source and the rest will calm down."
"Once one pinpoints the source."
"At least we know it's in arms reach," Myka says, sipping of her coffee.
"Do we?"
"Someone almost burned their hand on it."
"Nothing felt even remotely hot to the touch today." Helena screws the cap onto her water bottle. "The brick responsible could be beaming down from the loftiest of places. We'd need scaffolding to check properly."
"And that hill is..." Myka motions with her hand at a forty-five-degree angle.
"Is it truly a risk if it's merely hot to the touch?" Helena says, leaning back in her chair.
"Artie's not sure. He thinks wildfire smoke is 'activating' the bricks, making them think they're in the fires after the 1906 earthquake. So it depends on which way the wind's blowing. Prolonged smoke contact equals hotter bricks, and hotter bricks mean the building might catch fire."
"Because these melted 'clicker bricks' were used in rebuilding after the earthquake?"
"Uh-huh. And Artie thinks they caused a previous fire."
"The one where those girls died trapped in the basement."
"So sad," Myka says, shaking her head.
"I'd read it was arson, meant to discourage the Mission House staff from rescuing those poor immigrant girls from servitude."
"It probably was. But it might not have spread as fast without the clinkers."
"I see." Helena's hand tightens around her water bottle. "We cannot allow it burn again."
"We won't," Myka says, touching Helena's hand to reassure her. "Maybe we can monitor it with heat sensors. I bet Claudia has a gadget."
"I'm certain she shall," Helena says, looking as if she's combing through a catalog in her mind. "We must set up surveillance in the buildings across the street."
"Maybe we can pose as historians studying Julia Morgan, the architect," Myka says, perking up.
"What a blessing it shall be we're here for an indeterminate amount of time."
"Ooh! Maybe this can be our thing, traveling places and staying awhile, snagging difficult artifacts."
"I adore your ingenuity." Helena leans across the table, planting a kiss on Myka's lips.
"Mmm...thanks," Myka hums as Helena pulls back. She lifts her phone off the table, fingers working the keyboard, texting Claudia. "Maybe this is a good time to, um...tell you, there's a...a, um...something else the Warehouse's asked us to do."
"I knew they wouldn't release you that easily," Helena says, narrowing her eyes.
"This one's about you."
"Aren't they all, somehow?"
"Kinda?"
"Well, out with it then," Helena says, sitting back, crossing her arms over her chest.
"The artifacts you hid, the Warehouse wants them."
"They believe there are more?"
"Oh, come on."
"They've shelved the Trident and Corsican Vest."
"And the Imperceptor."
"That was not an artifact."
"Fine. Artifacts and inventions," Myka snaps. "And they want us to follow up on cold cases you left behind."
Helena shifts in her chair and looks towards the bridge in the distance. "This is punishment for my unwillingness to interact with the Warehouse. You told them of my issues surrounding Christina."
"No. I said separating your body from your mind then sending it out as a lure for Sykes really pissed you off."
"This is not untrue."
"Pisses me off, too," Myka mumbles.
"They may threaten such a thing again should I not bow to their demands."
"We."
"Pardon?"
"Should we not bow. I'm part of this, too."
"Yes, as my 'handler.'"
"Maybe. But our definition of 'handling' can be kind of fun." Myka skims a finger down Helena's forearm, prying her fisted hand apart and threading their fingers together.
Helena lets out a heavy sigh. "I may not recall everything. I'll need my diaries."
"Do you know where they are?"
"At the Warehouse, of course."
"I meant the real ones."
Helena raises a brow.
"You know they know you hid them before you were bronzed."
Helena grimaces. "I once knew where they were. There's no guarantee they're still there."
"You've already looked."
"I may have, briefly."
"And?"
Helena shakes her head in the negative.
"Then let's start with what you remember."
"Or, start with the items I've hidden since?"
"Helena!"
"Punish me later, darling. We've a smoldering building to extinguish." Helena squeezes Myka's hand and brushes a thumb under her jacket cuff. "Did Claudia get back to you?"
"No," says, checking her phone. "Maybe we should get back to the apartment and do some research?"
"'Research' is our best course of action."
Both women smile in agreement, then rise and hastily take their leave.
-END SEASON ONE-
NOTES: NOTES: And this wraps up Season 1! As you can see, it's set up to transition to a second season, one fairly independent from the Warehouse. Who knows if that will ever materialize (but I do have a few ideas). Links broke my post last time, but look up Cameron House (formerly the Mission House) in San Francisco and Donaldina Cameron for more on that organization and the deadly fire. Clinker bricks are regarded as junk bricks - warped from being fired at too high a temperature, or in this case, mangled by building fires after the 1906 earthquake. Many older buildings in Chinatown contain them as the neighborhood scrambled to rebuild after the earthquake, because white real estate developers were poised to swoop in steal their land. In the Cameron House design, clinkers were also used decoratively in an Arts and Crafts style (there are other buildings in SF like this, like 45 Upper Terrace, also designed by a female architect, Ida McCain). I dedicate this episode to @blackfoxreddog !!

hmmm Jyushi getting comfort from his s/o (any pronouns) after having a bad migrane? Maybe s/o cuddles with him after.
aaaaa gosh I’m always a bit shaky writing Jyushi because like damn he’s such a wild card BUT this was fun!! I’m always up for migraines :D
enjoy your Honey Nut Feelios =‘)
-
As much as the Matsuno brothers all take care of each other, it’s also nice for one of them to have someone outside the family who wants to do that, too.
Even though Jyushimatsu probably would have been fine with (Name) coming over to look after him, the migraine that’s had him knocked down for the past day or so has made it kind of difficult to think clearly. He would usually argue and go over to his partner’s place himself… except trying to move makes him too dizzy to get far.
He’s already thrown up once, when he woke up feeling like this and tried to move, and he really doesn’t want to be sick again. He needs his brothers’ help to sit up and take medicine, so there’s no way he’s stepping a foot outside the house.
By the point he realizes he wants (Name), it’s hard to communicate that. He remembers telling his brothers that he wanted to see his partner, only for one of them (Choromatsu, probably) to shush him and say, “No, I don’t think that’s a good idea… let’s wait just a little bit, okay?”
And maybe it’s for the best. He doesn’t want to argue the point, plus he really just feels like resting. If (Name) were here, he’d want to be awake and talking to them; he doesn’t need the temptation while he’s trying to sleep. Vaguely he wonders if that makes him bad or mean because he doesn’t feel the same with his brothers.
Those feelings are quickly forgotten in favor of trying to feel better. He spends most of the day in the futon, with all the blinds closed and curtains drawn, his brothers filtering in and out. The first time he falls asleep, he’s gathered snugly against Choromatsu’s chest, burying his face in his big brother’s shoulder to shut out all the light.
When he wakes up, it turns out he hasn’t been asleep for long, but he wakes up with Ichimatsu’s arms around him. Seems like the others are taking shifts to make sure he knows all of them want to take care of him. Each time he’s asked if he wants to take some painkillers, he’s too dizzy and nauseous.
It’s only when Karamatsu rouses him shortly before dinner, urging him that if he can swallow the medicine, it might take the edge off. So Jyushimatsu lets his older brother get the painkillers and some water into his system. It might not be a bad idea anyway; he needs to drink some water so he doesn’t get dehydrated, since he knows that makes it worse.
Toward the end of the day things get a little bit better. Osomatsu is able to coax his baby brother into drinking some soup, just a few sips of clear broth, when the nausea tapers off to the point he thinks he can eat without throwing up. Although his head is still spinning, and he still sees funny, hazy shapes at the edges of his vision when he opens his eyes, it’s more bearable.
At least, by the time Totty gets home from work, having had a later shift than normal, the ice-pick feeling is starting to become duller. While the others are sleeping in the spare room, likely fighting over the sofa and the guest futon, to let Jyushimatsu have the quiet bedroom to himself, Totty slips in beside his big brother to sleep. Jyushimatsu’s last memory of the day is falling asleep to his only younger brother stroking his hair.
Today he’s feeling much better, the headache part of the migraine has faded into a soft throb, and the torment of the fuzzy aura plaguing his eyes is starting to go away. The nausea has subsided into brief twinges. He’s only lightheaded when he moves too fast.
More than anything, he just sort of feels tired from the horrible day before. So he’s glad that he actually feels excited when (Name) walks into the room.
“Heyyy, there’s my boy,” they coo as they drop down, settling in next to him. “Your brothers told me you weren’t feeling so good yesterday. Sorry I couldn’t be here with you.”
He shakes his head twice, a brief, slow swing from one side to the other. “Nooo… it’s okay. Everyone else was probably keeping you away! Choromatsu-nii-san said I should rest… and with you here, I’d be all excited, haha.”
They laugh and move to pull him into their arms. He comes without a fight, allowing them to snuggle him as close as they’re physically able to. “I think I could have gotten you to rest, but it’s okay. How are you feeling now?”
He hums, closing his eyes so he can nestle into their chest. They’re so warm; just feeling them right beside him like this makes everything… okay. Although he wants to think that maybe his brothers were wrong, that them being here wouldn’t have made it a challenge for him to sleep, he feels excited to be hugging them like this. A little too excited to drift off into sleep… not so excited that, well, other places are an issue.
Their heartbeat is in his ears. It’s a steady thrum, and it hurts his head only a little bit. It’s not so bad? Not bad enough that he wants them to move. The last day was more painful than this, and having them next to him makes him happy. Happy people heal better, right?
“I’m okay,” he finally says. “I’m really tired, but it doesn’t hurt as much and I’m not super dizzy. It’s nice that I can cuddle with you now. I’d rather be playing baseball with you… it’s okay, though. Maybe tomorrow when everything’s all the way better.”
They nod, then he can feel himself melting when they start to pet his head. Their touches alternate; a gentle comb through his hair, then a kiss to the top of his head, then back and forth… back and forth… it’s relaxing. “Yeah, maybe tomorrow. This doesn’t hurt, does it? I don’t wanna hurt you.”
He can kind of understand their concern. If someone’s head hurts, it might stand to reason that any touch there would be painful. Except… they’re being really careful with him. Their touches are the same as his brothers’ were while they were taking care of him ― cautious, tender, being mindful of the pressure they’re using, as if he’s made of glass and might shatter if treated too harshly.
And despite the fact that he can take a lot of punishment… it’s kind of nice to have people be gentle with him sometimes. Especially when the pain he was feeling yesterday isn’t that far away from coming back, it’s easier to keep calm and not be overly excited when someone is touching him in a feather-light way.
“No, no, it feels really good.” There’s a bit of a hazy wobbling in his vision when he opens his eyes to look at them, but it’s a lot better than it was yesterday. At the very least, it makes them look kind of cute. Sort of like he’s looking at them through a kaleidoscope, just not as intense. “Thanks, I like this.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, mhm! You’re so nice to me, haha.”
They snort, and kiss the side of his head. “Well, you are my boyfriend, and I do love you, and you were just knocked out for a day with a migraine. It would be pretty horrible of me not to be nice to you since I love you so much.”
He nods lazily before nuzzling into that comfortable little place between their neck and their shoulder. “Hm, I guess… if you aren’t nice to the people you love, then you probably don’t love them very much, right? And you love me a whole lot.”
“That’s right, I do.”
His usual smile is starting to come back. Maybe a little weak, but it’s there. “I love you, too. A whole, whole lot. More than anybody’s ever loved anyone.”
He can feel the smile in their kiss when they set their lips on the crown of his head. “My cutie pie. Sweet ball of sunshine.”
“Mmmh. I don’t really feel like a ball of sunshine right now… hey, can the sun get tired?? Maybe I can just be a tired sunshine ball.”
They giggle. “Well, that doesn’t sound like a very far-off idea, you know? I bet the sun gets tired all the time. Nighttime is probably the moon taking over so the sun can sleep.”
Huh. When they put it that way, it makes a lot of sense. Then maybe it’s okay that he’s a tired ball of sunshine right now. It doesn’t mean he’s not himself. After all, his brothers get migraines too, and everyone is always just super exhausted the day after they’ve had one. It’s just been a while since he’s had one this bad… he might have just forgotten what it feels like for something to totally drain him like this.
“That’s probably it,” he murmurs, and lets all the tension, even the excitement, the good, happy tension, slowly slip away from his muscles. It’s okay if he can just rest for a little while. “Hey, (Name).”
“Mh? Yeah, babe?”
“Will you be my moon?”
He can feel their arms around him just a little tighter. And another kiss. And they’re all around him, wrapping him up so he can just be tired for a bit.
“Of course I will, sunshine. Of course.”

Heyo! May I request headcanons for how Leona and Azul would react to their respective SO being unassumingly strong? Like they look like they possess average strength but they are able to carry a lot of heavy things (easily the dorm leaders) or hold their own in a physical fight. I hope this makes sense 😅😅😅
Unbelievable, I'm back! With a request, nonetheless💖 I wonder if you missed me, hehe? Man, did I miss you all and my precious boys~ It's shorter than usually and I got hit with a writer's block, but it'll try to pick up my pace from now on >:3
But for now, please, enjoy💗
Unassumingly strong S/O
Leona Kingscholar 🦁
Rays of sunset gently caressing his face woke Leona up from his post-lunch nap. Still groggy from his sleep he rose up just to look at the clock. Almost evening, the last classes in college ended at least two hours ago. But that wasn't important to Leona. What really bothered him, was the absence of one customary part of his sleeping routine: your warm form beside his. To have you curled up into his side or just sitting near him telling about your day always made his dreams more pleasant and now that he got used to it, not having you beside him rubbed him the wrong way. You should have already been there, so where were you? The lion didn't want to think about the worst, but only the most alarming conclusions came to his mind. The bed shifted beneath him when he got up, but before he could even take a step a loud stomping resonating in the hallway drew his attention. Ruggie was at his doorstep, disheveled, and clearly agitated.
"Leona-san! You need to see this, come. Quick!"
Leona could finally let out the breath he took when Ruggie rushed him out of his room and to the common room. Several students were running to-and-fro around the other three beat-up Savanaclaw residents. The dorm leader stopped at the door, relieved to not had seen you there. And why would you be there, though? Nonsense. But it was really the only thing he was worried about since the sight before him was all too common for Leona at that point. He was about to turn to Ruggie and ask what all that fuss was about until a conversation between couch occupant and the students treating him reached his ears.
"Ouch! That hurts, man! Ugh, if not that piece of-!"
"Don't even think about ending that sentence. You're lucky that it wasn't the dorm leader who got his hands on you."
"Yes, dumbass, can you even imagine what would have happened to you three if he found out you fought his mate- Wha? Huh?! Leona-san? Since when did you-"
Leona crossed the room in a few powerful strides only to pick the unfortunate student by his collar. An unbridled fury grimaced his face.
"What's about [Y/n]? Tell me, your puny life depends on it!“
"Nishishishi, what can he even tell? That he and his thick-headed friends got completely obliterated by a single, small human?"
"Listen, I'm very sorry about it, but it was just self-defense!"
Leona dropped the scared, shaking from fear student to the floor in favor of rushing to your self, who too entered the room. He swiftly checked you for any injury and let out a relieved sigh. From what he could see you were completely fine, while those who harassed you were very much not, trembling and holding each other, bruised and humiliated. Kingscholar could only look bewildered at them, and then at you, at them, at you.
"Leona, I'm really sorry, I didn't want to hurt them so bad."
Your ramble became faster the more your boyfriend looked at you with a blank look, not even saying a word to you.
"...so if there's some disciplinary punishment or otherwise or will take it, I-"
A snicker interrupted your speech. You looked at the man before you stunned. Before you could utter even another word he erupted in a fit of roaring laughter, it resonating in a completely silent dorm.
Ah, Leona can't genuinely remember when was the last time he laughed that hard. The whole situation is so amusing to him, there isn't't a boring day with you, is there?
• Of course, you'll face no punishment, vice versa, you'll be celebrated. His darling, his kitten, was actually a mighty carnivore all along. He's going to mark the day, when he finally found out about that.
• Never would he think, not a snowballs chance in hell, that you had any physical strength in you, but you managed to prove him wrong. Yes, he was very close to destroying poor souls who tried to harass you, but if not for them taunting you and being beat up in the process, he wouldn't have such a discovery to laugh at. They're getting away with it, a living example of why exactly one ought to not touch dorm leader's lover. They're not dining with everybody that evening though, no matter how much tasty food there is.
• He doesn't think a lot about this discovery at first, that's just another gimmick of yours and he loves it, he loves you, but does it turn his world upside down, both figuratively and literally, when you, fed up with him lazing around the greenhouse and trying to make you lie down with him, swing him over your shoulder and carry him out. His pupils are just two saucers. He hangs speechless from your shoulder and until he feels ground under his legs he doesn't register what happened.
• Congratulations, now you have Leona Kingscholar living in your arms. He'll just use you as a personal carriage and how can you deny him, when he's so cutely snuggling up to you. Oh, he knows what he does to you and isn't ashamed to take advantage of it.
• He's quite pleased to know that you can hold your own in a physical fight, even in a magical world they're still too common. He even starts to watch himself, especially when he thinks he went too far with his teasing since you do have a strength to turn it on him. Well, he doesn't really protest. A bit of roughhousing and a tickle fight never harmed anybody, it amuses Leona when you start them.
• He admires you more than anybody else at this point. You're badass and you know it, and he couldn't be more proud. He sleeps soundly, knowing that you can stand up for yourself if the situation calls for it. He still much prefers to have you safe in his arms, or vice versa, so don't leave him for longer, than you should.
• One time he just casually asked you, if you could wield any weapon with a very unsettling glint in his eyes. He told you that a lot of people in Afterglow Savannah were proficient in some war art, it was a very respected tradition, and some of the masters could teach you, if you visited his homeland with him. He left the question open, but sometimes you still wonder what did he actually mean?
Azul Ashengrotto 🐙
Night Raven College was in a state of emergency. All students were to follow their seniors to a safe location, while teachers and student council were dealing with the threat. The reason for such a panic was a single creature. Highly dangerous at its full potential and untamable, college's Chimera was much less imposing than it's wild nature sisters, but still a difficult opponent for students at their Magic Defense classes. Apparently this time it decided to give a special lesson to everybody.
"The beast ran in that direction, don't let it get away once again, surround and subdue it!"
Azul's order rang in the hallway, spurring every present student to action. At the state of total disarray, the youth was the only one who reacted fast enough to rally his fellow students and direct them properly. But to say the hunt was going awfully is to say nothing. The students, so much for them being skilled at magic, had no idea of command work. Ashengrotto had already regretted sending Leech twins away with Octavinelle juniors, it would have ended so much faster if they were present. But alas, after running around the campus for more than half an hour, Azul could finally hope they would catch the damned beast at last.
"It's running away, catch it! Why are you standing still?"
"Can you not complain for five seconds, pretty boy? Want me to fix your make up with my fists for you?"
"The Chimera is resisting magical attacks, somebody please sacrifice yourself for the greater good. We need to neutralize it!"
No, they were hopeless. Azul could only observe the people he saw daily at college lose all respect he had for them in less than an hour. Azul was genuinely contemplating to just give up and let the teachers, who got lost halfway too somehow, handle it. At that point he wasn't even chasing it, disappointedly watching how it was running away into the sunset.
Until it suddenly didn't. Chimera crashed with a loud thud, falling to the floor completely motionless. And the one who was standing above it with a bright red crowbar was none other than you. Shocked, he slowly approached you and the unconscious animal.
"Um... [Name]?"
"Sup' Azul! You were late for our date so I returned to check up on you. This Chimera is so big! It's the first time I've seen it. Where should we carry it?"
"Yes, yes...You'll still meet it at your Magic Defense classes later the semester. To the classroom on the third floor, let me-"
Before Azul could lift it with magic you had already hoisted it on your shoulder and awaited for his lead.
Well, it was certainly a dream so he didn't have to freak out, right? His dear significant other couldn't possibly knock out a huge beast in one punch?
• Wrong. You did. You also had enough strength to carry it to its cage. You could do even more than that. The more Azul was coming to the understanding of it, the more he was freaking out. Until he completely stopped responding to you. The date had to be canceled, unfortunately. You led him to his dorm, while he was having an identity crisis.
• When he finally snaps out of his state you're so going to be bombarded with questions. They won't stop, and you're not even sure he addresses them to you. How did you hide it and why? Or was he just oblivious? But you look so demure, look at Jack for example and look at you! How?
"Well, I'm pretty soft, but here touch - there muscles underneath!"
He's now more lost than before, after making contact with your bare skin.
• It's going to take him time to come to terms with your actual strength. Lack of magic not equating to being powerless didn't register in his brain, and he thought it was actually very ignorant of him. He respected you before, but now he's in awe. His significant other is very strong and Azul thinks it's beautiful.
• When he has too much work and is stubborn about cramming it all into one day, even though he's already drooling on his notes and slips down his chair, you just lift him from his seat and parade through Monstro Lounge to his room with Azul blushing madly in your arms. Leech twins think it's the most hilarious thing they've ever seen. Azul is very embarrassed, but it also feels so good to be carried around by you, he feels the most special man in the world. He politely asks you to not handle him like that ever again, while he clings to you like a baby koala. It's obvious where he wants to be.
• He has a love-hate attitude to manhandling. It certainly feels exciting when you tug him on your lap if he's passing by, or envelop him in a hug if you're happy, but he's also quite shy about it, especially if there're people around you. Sometimes he wants just to find a pot big enough to hide.
• He likes your way of solving problems. You don't have to choose the best spells that would give you an advantage against a certain opponent, neither do you have to worry about things like mana and blot. You can only rely on yourself in a fight. He wheezed when you suggested, that Floyd wouldn't be a dangerous opponent to you since his unique magic wouldn't deflect a punch to the face. Floyd wasn't impressed with that logic, but he kept quiet.
• Azul is quite pacifistic, if he can mitigate the conflict and reach a consensus that would benefit every party, mostly him, he will try to avoid a fight. But when even he can't do this, you enter the picture. You know that those jerks are too arrogant and they should be prescribed a nice, educating blow to a face. Azul is mortified, when you escalate things, for he usually doesn't see such scenes, Floyd or even sometimes Jade leave them offstage. He quickly comes to his senses though and helps you out. Best believe you're going to get away with it, and even will be treated as a victim. Who in their right mind will think that you, of all people, can deal any serious damage to anybody?
• He feels a bit weird when you're the one carrying his shopping bags, or screwing the jars open, but he learns to roll with it, even starts to enjoy it. And his face when he sees you carrying a huge table all on your own, because he just so mentioned, that he didn't like how it stood in the Lounge? Priceless.
• No matter how much time passes he'll still react surprised when he sees you displaying your power, but it's also one of the qualities he loves about you. Azul treats your unusual strength as your special appeal and couldn't be more proud to be your lover.
• He's ecstatic that he can just casually mention to anybody picking on him, that "his significant other can and will snap you in half". Maybe you can, maybe you can not, but you just let him have his fun. The truth is that you will do your best at any given time to protect your boyfriend.

Follow up to this amazing present by @the-writer-nerd-ro where Kei has to go home & tell Obake what's going on...
• • • • • •
The two chattered excitedly on their journey home, but the euphoria of the moment came to a bitter end when they departed the train to start on their separate ways home.
But, before, the two parted, Seth turned & hugged onto Kei extra tightly as one last form of good-bye.
"Everything is going to be fine, Kei. Obake is going to be thrilled, first of all, and Morgan & I will be there every step of the way," they gently reminded Kei with another squeeze. "Just… before you guys settle on names, run them by us first. Can't trust a guy who calls himself something as crazy as 'Obake,' you know?"
Kei laughed raucously & brushed the bangs away from obscuring Seth's face. "You have a valid point, kiddo. And thanks, I'm so glad I have you in my life."
After exchanging another set of good nights, the two began their walks home.
• • • • • •
Like a thief breaking into a stranger's house, Kei carefully snuck through the front door & entered the foyer, trying desperately not to make any noise as she stepped out of her shoes & crept over to the staircase. The house was incredibly quiet & dark, so with any luck, Obake would be asleep & she'd be able to quietly creep into bed without waking her husband up, which would at least give her a bit more time to think of a way to broach the very difficult, life changing news she received at the doctor earlier that day.
But, luck wasn't something Kei usually had on her side - tonight was no exception. As she stepped up to the landing on the upper floor, Kei cursed upon seeing a beam of light coming from the master bedroom. & truthfully, Obake was a raging insomniac, so she shouldn't have been so surprised to find he was still awake. Kei crouched down on the step, her stomach flipping in agony at realizing what she had to do. She stayed there for what seemed like ages before she heard a book shutting, which was followed by a familiar, weary sigh.
"Kei, are you going to hide out on the staircase all night? Or are you at all interested in actually coming to bed?"
The DJ wanted to scream & run down the stairs, out of the house & vanish into the night, but Seth's words echoed in her mind: "Obake will understand… Your kid is going to be lucky to have two of the best parents in San Fransokyo." Kei made a mental note to text them tomorrow to vent about this whole situation, but in the meantime, she steeled up her nerves & shakily stood upright.
"I'm coming! Just… thinking. I'll be right there."
She forced herself to climb up the last few steps & trudged into the bedroom, where Obake was sitting on the bed, his glasses halfway down his nose as he passed her a curt smile, with a few pages of notes & some old looking books spread out around him. At least he made use of his sleepless hours, but even so, Kei wished he was a normal human just this once so she could forget this conversation until the following day.
"What's all this stuff about?" Kei asked nonchalantly as she began shrugging off her hoodie. "Scheming something new up?"
"Yes, I've been thinking about… No, no, nevermind all that - what's going on with you? You're really late &, just now, were you hiding on the stairs? What was that about?" Obake adjusted his glasses as he looked her over & Kei felt her face heat up as he passed her a rather stern look.
"I'm not that late," She mumbled before quickly turning away from him & venturing into the closet to step into something more comfortable. She groaned internally as she slipped away from his piercing gaze, which made her feel just like a little kid that was about to be punished for causing a mess. "I told you the train would have me back around 2AM."
"Kei. I don't know what time you think it is, but it's six o'clock in the morning," came the reply. "You're four hours late."
"Oh," she mumbled, already trying to forget how she took the longest way home possible, taking a trip to the park, a quick stop at one of those 24/7 quick shops for a candy bar & her late night meal at a Noodle Burger on her short walk back from the train station. She began fighting with the hanger as she tried to force it into the jacket's sleeves, her frantic mind in a total panic with how to explain this whole situation to Obake. "Right…"
Her cheeks were still burning painfully hot as she struggled with the simple task. She nearly jumped as a pair of hands gingerly took a hold of her shoulders, finding Obake standing behind her.
"Here, allow me."
"Sure," Kei gulped & stepped back, watching Obake take over & complete the easy task in one simple motion. After a beat, he finally turned around & looked over at his wife, who was practically shrinking under his gaze.
"Kei… what's going on?"
Kei meekly glanced up to him, fearing she'd see anger or annoyance caught in his glare, instead a very worried expression was knotting up his eyebrows.
"Is everything ok?"
"I'm totally fine!" She replied casually with a grin, though her smile slowly began fading as she realized she couldn't lie to him about this, even if she wanted to. "Er, ok I'm, like, mostly fine, that is. I… I think you should sit down."
"Hell, now, you have me worried! Why do I need to sit?"
"Hey, if you don't wanna sit, I do! I've been on my aching feet all night. C'mon, 'Bake." He simply followed Kei back into the bedroom, where she plopped down on the bed & patted the empty space to her side. Instead, he remained standing, his arms crossing sternly across his chest.
"Well? Go ahead. Out with it, then."
Kei chuckled dryly, her stomach knotting up miserably as a cold sweat began running down her back. "You know how we've been talking about the future & all that sort of stuff lately?"
Obake tilted his head in interest. "Yes. And…?"
"Well, like, we've talked about what we want out of the future & that sort of thing? All that stuff that'll make us happy & whatever? And you know that one particular thing we both agreed would be especially awesome, but we weren't sure when it would be best to do? So, we just kinda decided to put it on the back burner, to worry about it later? Well… we don't have to worry about it anymore, because that thing is happening now."
He shook his head & laughed mirthlessly. "I'm afraid you've lost me. What on earth are you talking about?"
"Omg, I'm such an idiot," Kei groaned. Suddenly seizing up in embarrassment, she covered her rosy face with her hands as best as she could. "Let me put it this way: Obake, I'm pregnant."
She peeked through her fingers to watch his face as her words sunk in. That annoyed expression he was wearing quickly dissolved into disbelief & a gentle glow began lighting up the side of his face.
"You… you're serious, aren't you? You're actually pregnant? And we're having a kid? Us? Together?" His knees seemed to give out & he suddenly knelt down at her side. He took a hold of her hands, gingerly pulling them away from obscuring her face so he could clutch desperately onto her. "Is this… This is really happening?"
"Yes," she smiled feebly through tears that were pooling at the corners of her eyes. "You're not mad, are you?"
"Mad?! I'm the very opposite! Kei, my dear, I couldn't be happier!" He leapt back on his feet & pulled Kei upright with him, dragging her into an especially tight hug. She squeezed hard onto him, relishing in that particularly strong glow he was letting off on the side of his face. "Darling, when did you find out? I hope you weren't out there hiding from me tonight!"
"If I'm honest… I was terrified of telling you! But, it's not because of you! It's just that… I'm too used to messing everything up. I wanted this to be a good thing for both of us, you know?" She sniffled, wiping at her eyes. "And, don't worry, I only found out this morning. I thought I had an odd stomach bug & wanted to get checked out before the show &... well, here we are!"
"This is utterly magnificent." Obake gazed at Kei tenderly, gently drying her cheeks as her laughter transformed into a case of hiccups. "And, unless I'm mistaken, I can at least assume that Seth & Morgan know, right?"
"You damn well know I tell Seth everything, even before you," Kei smirked, burying her face in his shirt. "I love you, 'Bake, but Seth is always with me, so they got to know first & helped me figure out what to tell you."
"Well, I'm glad they were there for you today, Kei." Obake pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "And now… our little family is going to be getting a little bigger. Imagine that."
Kei only sighed happily as she snuggled up in Obake's arms.
For a girl who grew up fearing she'd never have a place in the world, let alone ever make a family of her own, Kei had proudly found an odd little niche of her very own where she was simply flourishing with an absolute madman as her partner in crime.
Who could've ever seen this coming‽

Why Woosan Fights?
“hello, so i’ve been watching woosan for a while, and i must say their friendship is incredibly beautiful. honestly, i’m a jikook shipper, but i’ve honestly found myself interested in woosan’s dynamic lately.
the reason why i’m writing this is because i’ve noticed a lot of people have claimed that woosan is often “fighting”. and though honestly, we could never know what goes on behind closed doors we can make assumptions on what we think the members relationships are like based on what we see in general i suppose?
this might be a bit long, but bear with me. i wanted to do an analysis on what i think woosan’s relationship/dynamic is behind closed doors.
as you can imagine, it’s very hard to find interactions where it’s just them in a comfortable environment. they’re often surrounded by cameras/other people.
i don’t think i can trust shows/concerts to portray what woosan’s relationship is really like, but i think vlive is probably the closest we could get to knowing how they actually interact with each other.
and that’s exactly what i’m going to be analyzing today, the vlive they did together(which ultimately included yunho too, haha) about 10 months ago. i know that’s quite a while back. but oddly enough woosan don’t often do vlives. do i think it’s because they don’t share rooms? i’m not entirely sure because from what they’ve both told us. they go to each others rooms quite often.
i am by no means a professional, but i really like analyzing human behavior. anyhow this is getting too long already. so let’s start.
the vlive starts with them both quite happy and comfortable, at this time nothing in particular is happening. they’re having a totally normal conversation as friends withing the first few minutes. They’re currently in Wooyoung/Jongho’s shared room. San came to see Wooyoung, and according to him he goes their often and he says that while cocking a brow. heh.
Tumblr media
this vlive is like an hour and 16 minutes long, so I’m not going to go through everything, just the things i find interesting or important. but basically they spend most of that time playing games.
what i’ve noticed is that wooyoung is someone who likes to take initiative, and as you can see from the ss above he is very in tune to the audience and the fans. he seems to be the type to take control/dominate a conversation and the direction in which it will go. why do i say this? because he asks san what they should do today for the vlive, and throughout the vlive if you watch, you’ll see yunho and san often look for wooyoung’s confirmation on whatever ideas they have.
within eight minutes of the vlive yunho starts calling in.
Tumblr media
and san’s tone of voice drops as he says, “who is it?”
Tumblr media
and as wooyoung reaches for the phone(he practically already had it at that point), san is reaching for the phone as well. but why? this isn’t even your room son lol.
i think this is important because even though it’s very subtle i think it shows the first signs of san being irritated or annoyed that they were being interrupted. after woo tells him that it’s yunho, so he hung up san’s literally like, “good job”.
yunho then calls again, ‘cause he’s bored obviously, but at this point san’s like okay, go away tho. xD
Tumblr media
but then woo’s like he complimented us so the next second they’re like. AH, THANK YOU. lmfao. then san’s like, “shall we move on”. but yun calls again and san’s like.
Tumblr media
“it’s so noisy”, as woo answers again. i’ll also note that san sucks in his teeth a couple times. which clearly shows he’s irritated. which i find interesting because we often seen very bubbly/energetic/child-like in a way when they’re broadcasting. however, according to the fansign in melbourne yeosang said san is the scariest when angry.
so you’re probably asking why is any of this relevant. well, it’s because i’m sure most people aren’t used to seeing this side of san, which is why i’m highlighting these small moments, which paint a bigger picture of who he is. ‘cause while i do think san can be a bubbly/energetic/child-like person he tends to mellow out and become a lot more mature, calm and practical. now how is this relevant to woosan? well, i feel like this vlive might highlight why they may “fight” often, and i’m putting that in quotation marks because i’m sure those fights are just arguments. anyhow let’s continue.
yunho calls again and woo answers quickly, while san is just like...
Tumblr media
he does roll his eyes in a very subtle manner and sucks in his teeth more. which again shows he’s clearly irritated, i find it interesting because. if he’s hard to make angry why is he so irritated while woo is amused? is it because he wants to just spend time with woo? it’s a possibility.
they’re now talking about yunho joining a bit later, while san is just like.
Tumblr media
for a brief moment he made that face, before he controlled it.
at the end of the phone call san is just like.
Tumblr media
“very polite” as he caresses woo’s neck. now this moment makes me think about what san answered for why he liked woo, in which he says he liked that he respected his elders or something like that. so i think that is a genuine aspect that san likes about woo and we’re seeing it as proof here. though i must say i’m curious why this aspect in particular interest san. like, we don’t go like, “ah man, i like this girl/boy, ‘cause they’re just....SO POLITE.” not typically at least. then again i do know how important honorifics are in korea and there is a hierarchy, so that might have something to do with it. not entirely sure.
a little later, san reads a comment, and i suppose it said something about suing woo ‘cause he’s so handsome. ‘cause he said, “you’re sued everyday”. woo’s like duh btch, it’s me woo the guy in charge of sexiness, and san’s like....
Tumblr media
“behave yourself” nrgjkengjikenfjiwkfier #domsan
then you guessed it...yun calls again and woo’s like, “YES!” while san is...
Tumblr media
“STRESS” you done stressed my boi out yun. lmfao. at this point i don’t think san is easily annoyed, i mean yun has called like 5-6 damn times. he has a right to be stressed. woo may just have an incredible amount of patience. lmfao.
they continue playing the game and yun calls again and san is still stressed y’all.
as they continue with the game, san says something he’s already said, and woo’s like you’ve already said it but he says it in a cute manner, ‘cause san’s all like...
Tumblr media
“Why are you acting cute?” he felt attacked y’all. from what i can see in the vlive, i have a feeling this is true to what woo’s nature if off camera. many people feel like their relationship is one-sided because it’s often san showing affection. however, san has claimed that woo was actually the member that was difficult to get along with because he was so touchy. he then said in a vlive with mingi that woo is touchy, though mingi disagreed and said it’s actually san who’s touchy. san then said they’re both equally touchy.
after witnessing woo with the other members i can see that he is definitely touchy, he likes to kiss seonghwa a lot there’s literally compilation of it. lmfao.
and in this vlive you can see woo constantly rocking back and forth, as well as leaning into san a lot. i can even spot a couple of times where he looked at his lips. i think this is because he really wants to touch him, but he can’t because there’s a camera right in their faces. lmfao.
for some reason woo doesn’t want to be clingy with san, but is fine with doing it with seonghwa why? my reasoning is i think he likes to provoke and tease san to death and this vlive shows that very clearly and you’ll understand what i mean later. however, we do notice him being more clingy with him like the fansign where he was literally clinging onto him like a koala, but i don’t want to get into that in this post. i do however, believe that woo did that because he realized san wasn’t gonna continue being the fool/chaser.
now as the vlive continue they play games, and as i said before woo gives out a lot of commands and dictates the actions that are to be taken place. he doesn’t decide what games/punishments they play but he determines which one they’ll play and which punishments should be followed through with. lmfao. san and yun listens to him well, he even gives yun a task he has to complete for them to let him in according to woo, he wants to see how witty yun can be, and san’s later like should i open the door, and woo’s like yeah. i feel like this is important because i think it highlights who’s dominate in the relationship emotionally/mentally. anyhow..
Tumblr media
yun has finally joined and this is where things get interesting. i’ll show you what i think may often lead to woosan fighting and i’ll tell you now it has a lot to do with woo constantly provoking him. lol.
as they’re playing a game there’s a part later where san is talking about hongjoong’s choreography part in “Promise” that resembles something what thanos does with planets.
and woo..
WOO...
ya boi is apparently in so much disbelief that he spits out his drink dramatically as fuck.
Tumblr media
lmfao. look at san’s face.
i don’t think you heard me the first time, i said look at san’s face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
san’s like, btch don’t laugh, and woo’s like, btch don’t lie, and yun’s like i’m just enjoying the show.
i will also note that san often hits woo throughout this vlive, at some moments he also hits yun, but they’re playful and they are in no way forceful. they’re just the type of hits that you do with friends normally who may frustrate you nothing to be taken seriously. but i did think it was important to note, because woo does not ever retaliate(i believe this is because in this instance woo is the instigator/provoker), though he does push him back at san this instance though, i think it’s more because he’s like. “stop lying”.
Tumblr media
as you can see san is still holding this pose, and he holds it for a few more seconds because he’s in a defensive position. he’s trying to defend his position that he isn’t lying.
anyway, they continue playing games, at this point they’re playing singing relay. let me just say. they nearly took 3-5 minutes to come up with a punishment because woo was not pleased with them. he wanted something new. even though they were coming up with the punishments. lmfao. this boi.
Tumblr media
anyway, they’ve(not woo) have finally decided on a punishment that woo agrees to go through with. lmfao. and they then decide who goes first and this is important because the game is easier for whoever goes first, because they start the game off, and the game tends to get harder as the words can become quite difficult.
they decide by rock-paper-scissors and woo’s just like...
Tumblr media
“i told you i’ll go first” and your boi san’s givin’ that death stare again.
yunho then asks woo which way he wants to start(already knowing which way ‘cause look at this face).
Tumblr media
woo of course says to start with himself.
Tumblr media
see if you can spot the face of a man ready to plan your death and the face of a man who knows he’s a little shit. oh and ofc a man who’s just along for the ride.
Tumblr media
san remember....control.
as the game continues, san tries his harder to play the game, also note that they all agreed even if the word didn’t work if they found it to be funny they would let it pass. however, there were many instances that it didn’t work in san’s favor, this being one of them.
Tumblr media
note that san was only looking at woo at this point, actually most of the time during the vlive and i think this is because it was his approval he was looking for. you can see woo slightly smiling, and i know it’s because he thinks san is cute, but no he gotta be difficult.
Tumblr media
‘cause that smile soon diminishes and apparently woo would have passed it if it was funny. lmfao.
he gets a flick on the forehead for a punishment. poor sannie.
the game restarts, woo wins again at rock-paper-scissors and he...you guessed he’s starting with himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
san outright tells him he’s annoying. lmfao. i’m dead. woo knows it too look at his face, and again yun’s just there to be chaotic along with woo. i think it’s important to note that at this point, i believe yun was siding with woo, why? i’m not entirely sure. but he was definitely not helping san as woo provoked him. lmfao.
san then goes on to say:
Tumblr media
which i get, poor sannie’s getting punished left and right. also for those of you that do not know. the punishment is to bring all your pillows to woo’s room, or to sleep pillowless or get flicked in the forehead.
yun and woo then goes on to say “we’re not attacking you” we thought it was easy. lol.
however, woo is not entirely cruel so he passes san because he said something funny.
Tumblr media
yun is just like okay, just here for the ride bro. according to woo, at least one person has to laugh.
we’re 46 mins in this hour and sixteen min long vlive and everything’s going well, no one’s messing up and woo’s like...
Tumblr media
san is not too good at this game, he ends up not coming up with an answer again in time. and gets flicked again. lol. poor baby.
a few mins later he gets flicked again. lmfao.
okay, now it’s woo’s turn again and he feels like being a little shit again as you can probably can see from this face and san knows what’s coming.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh he knows what’s coming, look at that face. lmfao. basically, woo is asking what yun said to make a word that he knows will be difficult for san to get.
Tumblr media
in case you’re wondering what’s going on inside san’s head. “ah shit, here we go again.”
Tumblr media
let me just tell you that woo didn’t even give yun a second to answer whether of not he said it. he was just like, THE WORD IS ‘HE’ SAN. look at his face. lmfao.
Tumblr media
look at these lil shits, yun and woo just laughing at poor baby sannie. lmfao.
eventually sannie comes up with a song for the word and woo’s like, I ALREADY DID THAT. lmfao. he doesn’t give give him a break.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the argument continues and i think san is looking at yun to help him, but yun is just like....
so woo makes the decision on his own and is like, TIME TO GET PUNISHED and is ready to play rock-paper-scissors with yun to see who gets to flick poor baby sannies swollen head again.
Tumblr media
just look at his face, and look at san’s. lmfao.
san was like fuck that, not this time and pushed both of their hands down to stop them.
Tumblr media
there are some people that enjoy watching the world burn and seeing you suffer.
Tumblr media
they then decide to turn to the fans and ask them if they’ve done it, which according to them they have. haha. so san ends up getting flicked again and makes the cutest sound. fuijefnuwejifewife.
they do it again to decide whether he sleeps with the pillows or not i guess.
and san’s had enough and hits woo while shouting how annoyed his is. lmfao.
Tumblr media
woo of course feigns confusion.
Tumblr media
yun is at the back like you know why.
but of course, you know they both make fun of san for being annoyed.
Tumblr media
san then literally yeets his covers at woo.
Tumblr media
woo enjoying every second of torturing san.
they continue the game, san loses again, they discuss the punishments again and woo is absolutely ecstatic about the punishments. lmfao.
Tumblr media
if you watch the vlive you can hear how aggressively woo says this. lmfao.
san is just like, why are you doing this to me?
Tumblr media
they’re about to play rock-paper-scissors again, but san wants to change the item, but woo’s like. nahhh. dun wanna.
san’s just like..
Tumblr media
“this is too hard” but woo’s like, “not too hard”.
woo being the regina george of the group decides to try to play rock-paper-scissors again, but san stops him again saying it’s too hard.
Tumblr media
as you can see woo is not the only one enjoying teasing san. lmfao.
despite all of that woo decides that they play rps again anyway.
and of course san hits woo again, but yun’s hand is in the way.
Tumblr media
so he uses his other fist.
Tumblr media
what a cutie. woo and yun are enjoying this too much. lmfao.
IT’S WOO’S TURN AGAIN AND GUESS WHAT HE’S GONNA DO WHAT HE DOES BEST. PROVOKE TF OUT OF SAN.
Tumblr media
san already sees it coming. i’m ded y’all look at his face.
Tumblr media
you can’t tell me woo doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Tumblr media
HAHAHA
Tumblr media
HAHAHA
Tumblr media
woo being chaotic and tryna get yun involved.
Tumblr media
woo got smacked again(too fast to ss), but you can tell he’s enjoying it. lmfao.
his laugh was so purely chaotic and adorable after getting smacked by san.
they play rps again to decide who goes first, of course woo picks himself. and woo decides to poke the shit out of woo this time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
woo loves this shit.
Tumblr media
oh hi yun.
Tumblr media
poor sannie.
but you see woo isn’t done yet, he’s got other plans for san.
Tumblr media
inside yun’s brain: whatever it is i’m in.
san rises back up and asks if woo’s fuckery is real and he’s just like yup.
Tumblr media
he then yeets the blanket again at woo, yelling at him to go easy on him.
Tumblr media
yun being woo’s partner in crime asks if san is mad at a game? you made bro. why you mad it’s just a game. LOL.
Tumblr media
san’s like...no.
later san gets upset again as he yells at them for planning things against his favor and yeets his blanket again at woo.
san wins which doesn’t happen often in the game and he chooses a hard word, and they immediately start telling him he isn’t playing nice. lmfao.
Tumblr media
are you not convinced when i tell you that woo absolutely loves provoking san?
well as the game continues they’re still teasing san, and making the game harder for him and not laughing at his jokes.
he tells them that he didn’t laugh or find them funny so it shouldn’t be passed, but woo said he found it funny and this is his face while this is san’s.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
we love a chaotic duo.
Tumblr media
woo’s face says it all, but just in case you can’t tell what he’s thinking.
Tumblr media
woo: are you pissed? yun: san is mad.
san says no.
but woo says:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
woo says this himself. lmfao.
they continue playing the game and i suppose woo was trying to side with san for a short period of time as he claims to not be laughing at yun’s jokes, but san’s like, “you’re doing this to make me feel better”.
but then woo’s like
Tumblr media
yeah, san’s doing that to you woo. lmfao. he kills me.
for some reason yun felt the need to jump in. poor san.
Tumblr media
mean girls ateez ed.
Tumblr media
SAN BEING THE ANGEL HE IS AFTER YUN LOST HE GAVE HIM A SOFT ASS FLICK TO THE HEAD EVEN AFTER WOO HAD FLICKED HIS HEAD SOFTLY BEFORE WITHOUT SAN KNOWING.
he was such a proud baby. but then they’re like. PABO PABO, and woo’s like i flicked him softly before.
san’s mood switches and he spanks the shit out of yun’s ass.
he attacks woo again with the blanket.
Tumblr media
and woo’s feigning innocence again, like, “why you attac me bro?”
they choose a different game to play, i am ground. sannie’s already losing. lmfao.
at this time jongho suddenly wakes up or at least decides to speak.
SAN STARTS GOING OFF ON HIM.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like where is the confidence when going up against yunwoo. being the maknae is hard. lmfao. anyhow. this post was about how i think most of their fighting irl has a lot to do with woo being demanding/provocative while gaslighting san. now i’m not trying to make woo seem like a villain, because i don’t think he is. he is a very kind person, but i do think he enjoys teasing and provoking san a lot to get a reaction out of him. san has said that they argue often and woo upsets him often but they love each other very much.
this is tote normal behavior between friends so don’t freak out.
whether it’s skinship with others or teaming up against him. lol. anyhow this was a much longer post than intended. xD
but thanks for listening, support ateez. out babies.

A Season 6 Bellarke Recap [a.k.a. the Receipts]
Before the finale airs, I thought we were due for a recap of some of the major B/C moments of Season 6, episode by episode.
6x01 “Sanctum”
[a.k.a. “It’s not crazy.”]
This felt like such a turning point for Bellarke, particularly on Bellamy’s end, because you can finally see him starting to fill in the blanks of their relationship. Clarke is so tentative and reticent about addressing the radio calls. Bellamy recognizes her vulnerability, understands the significance of this admission. And by assuring her “it’s not crazy” that she depended on him for six years, he reveals that he relied on her memory just as much, thus affirming the strength and stability of their relationship. Devotion is the name of the game.
Tumblr media
6x02 “Red Sun Rising”
[a.k.a. “I don’t need you anymore.” + “This time, you die. Not me.”]
Talk about Foreshadowing™. This episode allowed audiences to get into the heads of each character (sans body snatching) and fully grasp what it is that drives/haunts them. Case in point, during Bellamy’s red sun psychotic episode, his compulsive need to protect and save his people is underscored, as is his deep-seated fear of being abandoned by/losing Clarke. This illustrates how, to a certain extent, Bellamy is terrified of how much he depends upon Clarke, knowing fully well the toll her death took on him for the past six years.
6x03 “The Children of Gabriel”
[a.k.a. “She is. She can speak for us.” + “We’ll bring Madi back. I promise.”]
Though the two are separated for the majority of this episode, Bellamy and Clarke’s “Together” partnership and co-leading dynamic are back in full force. Theirs is a relationship built on trust and mutual respect, a fact made very apparent when Bellamy doesn’t hesitate to allow Clarke to unilaterally conduct diplomatic affairs in Sanctum while he reconnects with their people. Likewise, Clarke entrusts the safety of her daughter to Bellamy in spite of the calamitous series of events that transpired in Season 5. It’s truly a redressal of S5, and it establishes how a relationship as profound as theirs is only strengthened by past disputes, betrayals, and grievances.
Tumblr media
6x04 “The Face Behind the Glass”
[a.k.a. “You’re my family, too.” + “You’re too important to me.”]
I found this moment particularly significant when juxtaposed with the B/C dynamic in Season 2. Clarke’s “You’re too important to me” is very reminiscent of her S2 “I can’t lose you, too,” only this time around Clarke doesn’t attempt to diminish Bellamy’s value to her and, instead, recognizes that her love for him is a strength, not a weakness. She conveys to him how deeply she regrets abandoning him at the pits (much like her abandonment of him at the gates of Arkadia in S2), vowing to never lose sight of the fact that he is and always will be family to her.
6x05 “The Gospel of Josephine”
[a.k.a. “How are we on different sides of this?”+ “Who are you?”]
The strength of B/C’s relationship is even further bolstered with Josephine acting as a foil character to Clarke. Bellamy and Clarke know and understand each other so well, and her absence is glaringly obvious to Bellamy when he recognizes how uncharacteristically out-of-sync they are. He is the first and only person to have figured out that Clarke had been bodysnatched purely from knowing who she is as a person—her mannerisms, the way she speaks, the way she thinks, the things she values most (the same cannot be said of her own mother, but c’est la vie).
Tumblr media
6x06 “Memento Mori”
[a.k.a. “...the hardest decision of his life: he will not take revenge.”]
Bellamy reveals the depth of his love for Clarke not by being consumed with his desire to exact revenge on her murderers, but rather by pushing aside his rage and grief in order to honor her. His inconsolable, bereaved, emotionally volatile state screams at him to perpetuate the cycle of war and violence, yet he overrrides his natural bloodthirsty instincts, all for Clarke. Bellamy is a fighter, and him choosing not to fight to preserve Clarke’s legacy is precisely why his love for her must be true and abiding—a love that stands the test of time and transcends death.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6x07 “Nevermind”
[a.k.a. “You’re too afraid to face him.” + “I’ll take your deal.” vs. “We’re gonna get her back.”]
The noticeable absence of Bellamy in Clarke’s mindspace (save for the drawings of him on her cell walls) is very weighty, especially when accompanied by Mindspace Blodreina’s spiel about Clarke‘s subconscious being unable to conjure Bellamy up due to fear. Fear that he will always resent her for her mistakes, fear that he views her as a selfish monster. It’s evident that Clarke values Bellamy’s perception of her to an unparalleled degree. Pieces of him are scattered throughout her mindspace (notice how a sketch of him is hanging in the area of her mindspace that symbolizes home, happiness, security, and family). He is literally ingrained in her head. This makes her decision to sacrifice herself to Josephine all the more meaningful. It is only when Clarke assumes Bellamy had given up on her without a second thought that she, herself, gives up. What she doesn’t get to see is how devastated he had been by her death and how determined he is to get her back when he discovers she’s still alive.
6x08 “The Old Man and the Anomaly”
[a.k.a. “You only care about Clarke.” ATTA BOY, JORDAN]
Bellamy is a man on a mission, and he’ll stop at nothing to save Clarke, regardless of the fact that doing so potentially endangers his people and their prospects for peace. While it’s inaccurate to suggest that Bellamy “only [cares] about Clarke,” you cannot deny that in this precarious situation she takes priority above all else. Saving Clarke is more important to Bellamy than ensuring that the peace deal for his people is fleshed out without a hitch. “He’d do anything for her. To protect her. Just makes sense.” Yet another S2 parallel. Bellamy will do whatever it takes to bring Clarke back, consequences by damned. If that entails leaving his people to fend for themselves, then so be it.
6x09 “What You Take With You”
[a.k.a. “Your people are in trouble. I guess you care about her more.” + “Now that’s a weird relationship, isn’t it?” + “I won’t let you die.” + “I’m not leaving you.”]
This episode was truly an ode to the history between Bellamy and Clarke—a complex history characterized by its highs and lows, by reconciliation and betrayal—but a history of devotion, nonetheless. Bellamy’s interactions with Josephine are enlightening, to say the least. The clinical way she breaks down the complicated relationship between Bellamy and Clarke is not only a testament to who she is as a person (i.e. a psychopath) but also to how deeply B/C must care for each other. In spite of everything that’s happened between them, their love and devotion to one another remains. Josephine leaves no stone unturned when it comes to recounting the bad and the ugly aspects of Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship, yet she redacts all of the good (those deep, intimate, emotional moments must be difficult to comprehend through the eyes of a psychopath). Everything about this episode—from Bellamy’s heartfelt “I won’t let you die,” to the terror and desperation in his eyes when J!Clarke is on the chopping block, to Clarke’s adamant “I’m not leaving you”—affirms that their bond is unbreakable.
Tumblr media
6x10 “Matryoshka”
[a.k.a. THAT SCENE]
It takes real acting chops to simultaneously rip my heart in half and stitch it back together, yet, within the span of two measly minutes, Bob Morley accomplished the feat seamlessly. When Bellamy is confronted with the reality that Clarke is dead on that operating table, his greatest fears in 6x02 paradoxically come alive before his very own eyes. “I’m not losing her again.” “I need you.” “I’m not letting you go.” The shift from denial to desperation to devastation is as breathtaking as it is heart-breaking to watch. Speaking of the heart, what elevated the CPR scene to a caliber rivaling that of poetic cinema was its overt symbolism. Bellamy is Clarke’s heart. Clarke is Bellamy’s heart. When she’s trapped in her own head, it’s Bellamy’s voice that brings her back and jumpstarts her fighter instincts. When her heart’s stopped beating, he pumps it for her. He’s begging for her to come back to him because she is his touchstone, his other half. “The heart and the head.” “The head and the heart.” In other words, we belong Together. In other words, I love you, and I don’t want to live without you.
Tumblr media
6x11 “Ashes to Ashes”
[a.k.a. “You saved me.” “So how do we save everyone that I left behind?” + “For Monty.” “For Monty.”]
The guilt sets in for Bellamy as he begins to think about the potential repercussions of his actions. Leaving everything behind to save Clarke was purely a heart move, and now that he’s got Clarke back, his head is starting to punish itself for shutting down and abandoning his people. Bellamy is off kilter and guilt-ridden. His plans for a peace deal fell apart, and he’s terrified that he won’t be able to protect his people just as he had failed to protect Clarke before (a 6x02 callback). Now, more than ever, it’s evident that Bellamy relies on Clarke to center him. She is his voice of reason, the head to his heart—a heart that, in a lot of ways, beats for her, as evidenced by his adamant refusal to allow her to jeopardize her life by acting as the inside man. Objectively, he knows her plan is the smart play and the only way to ensure that they “do better” per Monty’s charge, but he can’t risk losing her again. Bellamy eventually conceding to her plan illustrates how ideologically-attuned they are now. They’ve never been more Together, and, above all else, they uphold faith in each other.
Tumblr media
6x12 “Adjustment Protocol”
[a.k.a. “I left them.” + “What took you so long?”]
Though this was definitely more of a fast-paced, plot-driven episode, the flashes of Bellarke peppered throughout are very telling, teeing up a major emotional moment for them in 6x13. While waiting for Clarke to shut down the shield, Bellamy is once again plagued by guilt for leaving his people behind without a second thought. Octavia’s verbal consolations do little to ease his mind, which goes to show how tormented he is by his actions. He genuinely believes dropping everything to save Clarke was a selfish decision on his part because he couldn’t bear to live without her. It wasn’t so much about Clarke needing Bellamy than it was about Bellamy needing Clarke.
He needs her. Not just as a co-leader, not just as a partner. Bellamy needs Clarke. His person. Never mind that his people may need him. If Clarke’s in trouble, he’ll go through hell and back to save her.
Pivot to the Becho reunion. Bellamy’s just been reunited with his girlfriend, the person he’d entrusted to protect his people while he went off to galavant around the woods with J!Clarke. The pure relief on his face upon being reassured that Echo okay is apparent. He left her behind, she was in trouble, but now she’s okay. He’s comforted by her presence in the same way that he’s comforted by the knowledge that a member of his family is safe.
But that look on Bellamy’s face when his eyes meet Clarke’s and everything around them seems to melt away? That’s more than relief. That’s yearning. That’s devotion. That’s “You came through. I knew you would.” That’s love.

~ anyone disciplining him growing up due to his father being in jail and his mother probably working full time to both live and pay off debts. In asian culture, at least in chinese culture, parents would hit you if you do something wrong, hoping that you would learn your lesson and would not repeat the same mistake again. That brings back to the chapter where he tian gave a sandwich to mo nicely, but mo just threw it away, causing he tian to beat mo,hoping that mo would not ~
~ do this again. He tian probably beat mo out of anger, but I think what old xian is trying to portray here is the father role played by he tian, that is to punish mo when he does something wrong. Also, I think disciplining mo requires the use of force because he doesn’t really listen if someone talks to him nicely (for example, the chapter where a classmate told him he couldn’t play cards in the class, and he just stormed off cursing and chapter where buzzcut told him about his anger issue?? ~
~ and he threatened to beat buzzcut if I remember correctly). Before meeting he tian, mo and his gang had been going around school picking up fights and destroying school properties (according to detention board). After he tian started sticking to him, it is very noticeable that none of these things occur again. It is very obvious that he tian’s presence is changing mo in a better way. Mo and he tian are just characters that compliment each other. He tian is teaching mo of how he cannot go ~
~ unpunished for every wrongful action that he does (which mo’s parents were never there to teach him) and Mo is teaching he tian of how being rich and popular does not mean he can have everything in his way and not everyone will bow down to him (in addition to all the mafia stuff and he tian needing mo to escape the dark world that many people have talked about). What do you think? (has anyone have written a similar analysis before?) Sorry for long post and spamming.
Good morning, dear anon-san! (^_^)/
First of all, sorry for taking my sweet time answering your question. I had a couple of school projects I needed to get out of the way first. Also, I wanted to take screenshots of the rest of your question, but Tumblr was being a pain and wouldn’t let me upload different kinds of images from the chapter pictures. So, I copy-pasted the rest instead.
You posed some interesting interpretations! Some of them differ from how I see Mo Guan Shan’s character and his relationship with He Tian, but they also introduced some new perspectives I hadn’t thought of before.
I wondered how to tackle your analysis. Your question has some overall themes running through, and my usual way of highlighting quotes to structure my answers doesn’t feel the most effective this time. So, I picked some keywords/phrases and the chapters you mentioned and I will try to give this answer some structure that way.
Lack of discipline in MGS’s upbringing
Let’s begin with MGS’s childhood and parenting. According to your interpretation, due to his absent parents (father in prison and mother working a lot to provide for the family) there hasn’t really been anyone there to discipline and punish MGS as a child. This has caused him to grow up without learning to follow rules and later resulted in him getting in trouble at school multiple times. I get the feeling that you’re not blaming the parents for any of that. It’s just due to the unfortunate events the family has gone through.
This is probably where I disagree with you the most. So far, we haven’t gotten any content of Mrs. Mo disciplining her son, but I don’t think he has grown up without proper punishments and learning his actions have consequences. I think it’s quite the opposite, actually. As you mentioned, she’s probably had to work long hours even when MGS was younger but I doubt she’s been as absent as you proposed. She doesn’t strike me as someone who would neglect her child’s upbringing that way even if she had to work a lot.
MGS might not follow the school rules but it’s clear he’s very responsible for a boy his age (ch. 259):
Tumblr media
MGS takes care of the house (cooks, cleans, pays bills...) and works multiple part-time jobs. And I think that is the key to how he was raised instead of how he acts at school (I will get to MGS and school a bit later). Doing all those things at MGS’s age requires a strong sense of responsibility and most of all, discipline. I’m sure there have been countless times when he hadn’t felt like going to work after school or when he’s been too tired to cook for his mother so dinner’s ready when she comes home late. But because the situation of his family is what it is, he didn’t have a choice.
Bringing up your child like that doesn’t only take discipline but also trust. She had to be able to trust MGS would take care of things while she was away. I’m also sure she had had to be strict and tough with him in raising him like that, and it hasn’t always been easy for her. I’m sure she has had to deny a lot of “normal” things from him because she had needed him to help her with everyday necessities.
Another thing that hints at according to what principles MGS was raised was when he went to see his father (ch. 240):
Tumblr media
We learned how much MGS looks up to his father and wants to become like him. In his eyes, his father is “upstanding” and someone respectable. So, it’s not like MGS lacked good role models growing up even before his father went to prison.
All of that being said, it is true MGS gets often in trouble at school and I’m sure the school has contacted his mother multiple times because of that. We haven’t seen that happening in the comic itself (yet) but we might have gotten one clue how she could handle those situations (ch. 177):
Tumblr media
She knows her son better than anyone else in the world. She knows he has a temper and can get in trouble easily because of that but she trusts him. That doesn’t mean she always automatically takes his side or doesn’t believe the teachers. By trust, I mean she always wants to hear MGS’s side as well because there must have been a reason if he’s done something wrong. After that, she decides whether or not he should be told off or punished. If MGS has skipped school and comes home too early, she doesn’t discipline him right away but wants to know if something happened.
I also have a feeling that whenever the school contacts his mother because of something he did, it’s not something MGS wants either. He doesn’t want to burden her any further with his inability to stay out of trouble. His job is to help and take care of her, and it shames and pains him if she has to take responsibility for his stupid mistakes. His character is a heart-breaking combination of wanting to be a good son that his parents could be proud of but not being dealt with good enough cards in life to feel like he can achieve that. That was also evident in how he lied to his father about having friends and doing well in school. He didn’t want to disappoint him.
MGS, school, and gangs
You didn’t talk about school directly, but I think the way MGS acts around his classmates and is treated by them and the teachers is an important part of his character. You proposed he’s acting out in school because of his lack of discipline but again, I have to disagree.
I think MGS is being aggressive towards his classmates for one reason: it’s a defense mechanism. It origins from his childhood and isn’t obvious on the outside which makes it difficult to detect. So let’s take a look at what we know about MGS as a child being around his classmates (ch. 242):
Tumblr media
At a very young age, he’s being treated unfairly by his peers. Rumors of his father being in prison caused prejudice and made it easy to point fingers at him whenever something bad or suspicious happened. A child of an alleged criminal couldn’t have been raised to follow rules, and no one should associate themselves with him. In that flashback chapter, little MGS is trying to deny the accusations but no one listens to him, let alone believes him. The situation escalates quickly as MGS gets frustrated and physically attacks his classmates which, of course, only worsens the situation.
What I think applies to MGS’s attitude towards his classmates these days is the principle of people tending to mirror the way others treat them. If someone is being hostile towards me, it’s likely I’d start acting the same way. Especially, if I feel like I’m not treated fairly or that people are being prejudiced. It’s a way to protect and defend myself.
However, it can easily become my everyday behavior if I’m constantly being treated like that in which case, I start being hostile and aggressive before others can attack me. Which, in return, feeds the prejudice and unfair treatment until it’s a vicious cycle and I end up becoming a social outcast.
This is evident when we look at how MGS acts in middle school. You mentioned the incident when one of his classmates tells him off for playing cards in the classroom and MGS ends up storming off (ch. 154):
Tumblr media
I think that’s an excellent example of how MGS has become an outcast and how others now fear and dislike him. The way the other student tells him to stop playing because it’s against the rules wasn’t nice as you implied but rather aggressive as if she had readied herself to face him and hid her uncertainty behind hostility. MGS told her to mind her own business but interestingly walked away from the situation. As if he doesn’t want to be the center of attention because he knows everyone in the room looks down on him and hates him.
Again, I don’t see this kind of behavior as a sign of indiscipline but something that has developed over the years as a result of discrimination. MGS has learned it’s better to distance himself by appearing angry and unapproachable so people will leave him alone out of fear. None of his classmates really know him, though, and easily believe every bad thing said about him. All they see is his exterior which is somewhat understandable, especially at their age.
You also mentioned gangs in your ask, and that’s connected to MGS’s aggression and being an outcast. I’ve talked about this a couple of times before (X and X). As MGS kept drifting further and further away from the kids who didn’t accept him, he was heading towards gangs and delinquent lifestyle. A gang gave him a place to belong and being a delinquent fed his ever-growing aggression and his already bad reputation. Unfortunately, being surrounded by gangs and people like She Li only worsened MGS’s poor self-image and made him believe that was his place in the world. And SL took advantage of that and created an illusion that he was looking out for MGS and this was his destiny (ch. 178):
Tumblr media
However, it wasn’t only MGS’s classmates who discriminated him, I believe it was the teachers as well. There’s one detail especially that has always stuck with me (ch. 265):
Tumblr media
When the teacher (grey hairs) was telling MGS and HT off after the Coke incident, it’s obvious he doesn’t see the two students as equals. To him, HT is an honor student with a bright future who shouldn’t associate himself with people like MGS. It’s one thing if immature kids don’t see past someone’s behavior but when it’s also adults (let alone educators) who fail to do so, it’s so much worse and often results in a kid losing faith both in themselves and in their futures. Teachers are the people kids trust and expect the most to do the right thing and treat kids without prejudice. As a teacher, that panel broke my heart a little.
What comes to MGS getting angry at Buzzcut after the card incident (ch. 154):
Tumblr media
MGS gets angry because Buzzcut accidentally poked at something MGS is very sensitive about. The topic of his father being in prison and how he feels about it goes deep and is something MGS wants to hide from others. So, when outsiders who don’t know anything about his father even mention him, his knee-jerk reaction is to get defensive to protect that emotional sore spot. It wasn’t about MGS having anger issues or lacking discipline but rather about lashing out to hide something vulnerable.
Are you starting to see what I’m talking about when I say his behavior is not about the lack of discipline?
HT as a father figure
Because MGS often breaks the rules and gets in trouble, you proposed HT comes in as a father figure and teaches him his actions have consequences by punishing MGS when he acts up. And to bring his points and “lessons” across he often needs to use force because MGS won’t listen to him otherwise.
This interpretation perked me up, and I find the perspective of seeing HT’s role as someone fatherly very interesting. I have never thought of it quite like that. I both agree and disagree with your interpretation, but it turned out to be somewhat difficult to pinpoint where the line between them goes.
I agree that discipline and HT go very much hand in hand. From the very beginning, he’s made it very clear MGS is not to go against his will or refuse him (ch. 150 and 210):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I still don’t think it’s quite in the way you described. Because I don’t think MGS lacks discipline I also don’t think that teaching him manners is HT’s reason to “punish” him for acting up. There’s no reason to teach MGS his actions have consequences; he’s known that his whole life and often suffered from it. Instead, there’s a deeper meaning behind HT’s actions and overall interest in MGS, and it’s brought up quite often in his lines (ch. 160 and 180):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HT wants to make MGS into an “outstanding person”. (As a side note, that same phrase is also mentioned by MGS when he’s visiting his father.) He knows what real bad guys look like and sees MGS isn’t one of them. In his heart, MGS is actually honest, caring, hardworking, responsible, and someone who isn’t hungry for power and sneaky about it. He has drifted into gangs and being a delinquent because his environment constantly rejected and badmouthed him, not because he’s a troublemaker by nature. However, if he keeps up his current behavior he’s heading into a dangerous future, and it’s from that doom HT wants to save him.
But of course MGS isn’t about to just follow HT blindly. He’s learned the hard way not to trust people’s actions and words. Over the years, he’s built strong, nearly unbreachable walls around himself, and HT needs both time and effort to get through them. Ultimately, it’s about trust, not discipline. HT isn’t punishing MGS for acting out but trying to pull him away from the cliff MGS has been pushed towards and is about to fall off.
As I said, it’s difficult to say where my interpretation parts from yours because discipline is definitely a part of HT molding MGS into an upstanding person but still...it’s different. It’s as if despite his good goals HT needs to dominate MGS first for his own good to make him listen because MGS doesn’t trust him enough to just follow him. If MGS can’t fight and refuse him, there’s no other direction really. Also, it should not be forgotten that HT thinks MGS having spunk and spice in his character is a good thing even if that means he will fight and resists even HT himself. That means he’s less likely to become anyone’s puppet, has enough pride to not suck up to anyone, and wants to be independent.
What comes to the chapter in which MGS slaps the sandwich offered by HT and HT beats him up for it (ch. 222):
Tumblr media
First of all, 19 Days is known for having that kind slapstick humor, and I think HT kneeing MGS until he accepted the sandwich was an example of that. Secondly, I don’t think it was a “punishment” for acting out or MGS not knowing what discipline is but rather HT yet again asserting his dominance to make sure MGS keeps following him. Thirdly, it’s important not to forget the context of MGS’s behavior. Earlier in the chapter, he had gotten agitated by Buzzcut asking about girls and love and what was MGS’s type - unbeknown or perhaps not realizing that MGS is awkward and testy about those subjects, especially after HT had started pursuing him. Then he runs into HT and ends up taking out his feelings on him and refusing him in a way that was more serious in tone than his usual reluctant grumpiness.
MGS affecting HT’s behavior
In the end, you say that both HT and MGS have changed each other’s behavior for the better, and I wholeheartedly agree. However, I don’t think HT has ever thought that being rich and popular entitles him to have things done his way and others bowing down to him. Actually, I think it’s that very way of thinking HT wants to get away from and despises. It’s precisely the money and the influence that comes with it that has driven a fundamental wedge between him and his family, to begin with.
Now, that being said, I’m not trying to make it sound like HT can’t act selfishly or be ignorant about many things. He certainly can. Being around MGS has exposed him to another kind of way of living and taught him a lot. Also, MGS resisting him every which way has probably taught him the effort and patience that goes into winning someone’s trust. Saving someone isn’t as simple as just swooping them off their feet and feeling good about yourself afterward but actually requires cooperation from the other party as well.
You had many interesting things to say and challenged my thinking in many ways! I hope I managed to cover everything you said. The cores of our ways of looking at things differ from each other, so it was a challenge to structure my answer and make sure I don’t miss anything. If you think I overlooked something or you have something to add/comment, please go ahead.
In any case, thank you for your interesting question and patience!

Message in a bottle — Todoroki Shoto x GN!Reader
This is dedicated to @burnedbyshoto, because she showed me that Shoto is Love and Shoto is Life, I know you don’t write suicide things so I hope you are okay with being tagged on this, if not just send me a message and I will untag you. This is not with the intend of hurting you nor making fun of anything.
Oneshot(?, (+1K words).
Warnings: Mention of suicide and that kind of things, my bad english, todoroki being flustered.
Characters aged up to +18! If there is a mistake in the pronouns (or anything) please let me know~
There was a message in a bottle, but you couldn’t read it. You learn japanese and found out that he needs help, so you go and help him.
Keys to read this: Y/N: Your Name L/N: Last Name
Tumblr media
He was tired, exhausted and depressed.
His whole life was like hell, fire that punished him for every mistake maken, darkness and gaining nothing but pain… like the scar that cover almost half of his face.
Your life, in the other hand, could only be called as “free”. Your family was full of quirkless members and finally, after all this time, someone was born with a power in the L/N family. A life full of stress, happiness, family and hard work to stand out from all the crowd.
Both of you could not be so different from one another.
But that didn’t stopped this to happenned.
Him. Writing a note, asking for help, fighting the urges of ending his life.
A bottle. Where the note was placed.
And the beach. That you love near your house.
What were the odds for you to found that exact same bottle? One in a million? One in a billion? Probably cero, none at all, but here you were: reading a note from across the word.
Being just seven years old and in the cost of San Diego didn’t let you read anything but the only words in english, HELP ME, in a messy writing.
Later that year you found out that the language was japanese and thus the learning begun.
Year after year the classes were demanding. Not only high school, nor college, but particular classes with professional level in the same language as the letter, you were determined to save whoever send that to you, to be their hero.
And once the college was over, the hero license yours and the language dominated you bought yourself an airplane ticket… your adventure was just starting.
After understanding the content in the letter you grow worried every second that passed.
“My name is Shoto, I just want to die. If this, perhaps, reaches someone who can help me, please do so.
HELP ME! I’m scare, he is crazy, I can’t take this anymore.
My house is in xx, xxxx in xx, Japan”.
You though that it was gonna be difficult to found him, but fate prove you wrong.
Not even a single step out of the plane, after more hours that you liked inside a big metal bird, there was a picture of a guy with red and white hair, a huge scar on his left side and heterochromatic blue and gray eyes. In big bold letters ‘Shoto’...Was he the same one who wrote that letter? Could be. Maybe not. What were the odds?
The conveyor belt was not far, but full of people
Luggage with you, backpack in hand and wallet in your pocket, ready to finally leave the complex and search for him, but what you didn’t expected was someone to grab and stole your stuff. Great, not only where you tired but now without a passport, money, clothes or even the letter.
The air chilled and for some reason you felt warm.
A tall guy passed by you and shouted ‘Don’t worry, I got this!’.
Something in you knew that the best choice was to follow him, so you did.
Running throughout the crowd you were desperate to reach him, you wanted to use your quirk but being in a foreign country made your license invalid. You’d work on that later, maybe have a new one so you could fight for the one you were looking for.
Your eyes could barely follow his movements and when he turned around the corner you did the same.
The thief was on the floor, knockout and being tied by the man in front of you.
‘This are yours, right?’ He looked at you and your heart skipped a beat or two. ‘Do you speak japanese?’
‘Yes’, the answer flew out of your mouth while trembling. ‘Thank you, emm…’
‘Shoto’, he touched you hands, and then they were no longer cold.
‘Y/N’, a soft smile formed in your face. ‘Really thank you so much!’
‘Don’t worry, it’s nothing’.
And then you reached into your purse.
‘I don’t need anything in exchange’ He said, ‘Your smile is payment enough’.
The hotness of your hands reached your face and it was pretty obvious that it was not his doing. Your eyes looked down, to his hands and you could see them, barely there, like thin lines that tried to fade long ago but ended up staying.
You found the letter.
‘I think this is yours’.
His eyes were perplex to say the least, at first he didn’t recognize it but then it hit him like a truck. He wrote that long ago, at the time of his life where he was at his lowest.
‘How did you got this?’ He screamed. Totally different from before.
‘By the sea, a night that I was playing on the beach’. You brush it off. Again, what were the odds? ‘Ten years ago, I hope I’m not late’.
His eyes watered at the sight of that paper, one that once was his and now was yours, one that looked almost brand new, like the nice ones at home.
‘You came after all this time?’
‘I’m sorry it took me ten years to come over’, your gazes interlocked ‘I really tried my best to be fast, but this was all I was able to do by myself’.
‘Now I’m the one who should be thanking you, for thinking about me all this time’.
‘My dream is to be a hero, and I will go the distance just for you!’.
He was red, just like the mark in his face.
Your hands covered you mouth, realizing that those words were, probably, too much.
He smiled.
‘Well, you certainly did’ The color faded just a little, ‘do you have a place to stay?’
‘I was planning on finding a hotel somewhere’.
‘Come, I know a better place’. One of his hands were on your luggage, the other intertwine with you fingers.
He’d definitely help someone who travel such distance just for him.
You’d definitely go to earn a new license, now you totally wanted, so you could fight alongside the one you were looking for all this time.
Both of you walk together, as if this was not the first time you ever met before.

Oasis
Sumary: Time travel AU! The temptation to fix everything it’s too hard for Sasuke to resist.
Characters: Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Itachi Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Ino Yamanaka
Relationships: Sasuke Uchiha/Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha & Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha & Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno & Ino Yamanaka
For the Sasusaku month day 8: Oasis
The oasis It’s guarded by proud people of the old religions, they have chakra but they don’t call it chakra, they call it soul spirit.
They act with kind reverence around Sakura because they could tell she was a healer when they first saw her. Just as they bow with respect around Sasuke because of the lingering dark power he naturally emanates.
They show the travelling couple the way to the oasis as if it was their duty. The place is beautiful.
Underground corridors of weirdly coloured stones leading to a secret cavern and in the middle, a dazzling string of transparent water reflecting the colours of the precious gems lining the place around them.
“Only people with a powerful soul spirit can make use of the oasis.” Says the leader of the people, “the waters of this place allow the travellers who are worthy to go back in their own history and mend past sins.”
“We are powerful enough.” Mutters Sasuke purposely walking towards the waters that starts to glow as if it were sensing his chakra.
He stops at the edge of the oasis, giving Sakura an inviting, hopeful glance. Extending his only hand in her direction.
“Sasuke-kun, we don’t need to do this.” Taking two hesitant steps towards Sasuke, the young Kunoichi tries to dissuade her lover. “We’re happy now. Aren’t we?”
“I did so many mistakes, committed so many wrongdoings in my life, Sakura. I treated you so awfully. Don’t we deserve a second chance? A little more time to be together?” He sounds distant. In the same way he sounded as a Gennin, when his sole purpose was vengeance.
“We have all the time in the world, Sasuke-kun.” She tries.
“I’m sorry Sakura.” He apologises, closing his eyes. “Hopefully you won’t remember any of this when I’m finally done with everything.” After the brief but heartfelt apology, Sasuke allows himself to fall into the water, finding himself surrounded by white light and Sakura’s voice screaming his name.
Then only Darkness.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
He wakes up feeling different. Weaker, in a room he hadn’t seen or been in, since his childhood days.
A quick trip to the bathroom and a brief glance at the mirror tells him he’s four, maybe five, in any case just a few years ahead of the massacre that changed his life and transformed him into the man he is... Was.
Now that he’s here, Sasuke is not really sure of what he wants to do. Not in specific terms anyway. He wants to be a better friend for Naruto, wants to be a younger brother for Itachi. For sure.
He especially wants to become the man Sakura deserves. Wants to accept her invitations to dinners and festivals, to hold her hand around the village and in their travels. He even longs for the opportunity to be openly jealous of Naruto’s and Lee’s advances on Sakura.
Sasuke wants to meet her parents without the lingering shame of being the man who broke her heart and tried to kill her. He still remembers standing alongside Sakura in front of the Harunos, telling them that he was going to take their daughter away while knowing he had dared to raise his hand at her in open violence.
He overall wants to train alongside her, to become strong as they grow together under the same sky.
He decides to start with the massacre because he doesn’t want to lose his brother once again. Sasuke will leave the final decision to Itachi, but he will be the one to tell him about the coup d'etat or at least he will find a less violent outcome for his clan.
In the following months he keeps his ears and eyes open for any signs or talk of treason from his parents. He’s aware that he can’t talk to Itachi until he knows for sure his parents are at least in the planning stages of their betrayal.
A few months into his new life he hears his mother talk about spies in the academy reporting to her. His father grunts his approval and then he tells her about Itachi being difficult about his part in the coup d’etat. That’s all he needs.
He cries in his brother’s lap for the first time in decades, that night. Forcing Itachi to comfort him and hear him out. “Mother and father were talking about killing Lord third.” He sobs in his brother’s chest. “Are we bad people?”
“No, little brother,” placates the prodigy. “I just wish you wouldn’t have to hear that.”
“We have to tell Lord third!” Screams Sasuke just in case Itachi hadn’t thought about it already.
“I already did that, Sasuke.” Sighs Itachi with resignation. “And Lord Hokage has been trying to find peace between the Uchiha elders and the village, to no avail. It seems that as long our elders are in power, we won’t come to an agreement.”
“Then...” Stresses Sasuke, “Brother and cousin Shisui should run the clan.” This is enough for Itachi to stare at him.
“And what about father and mother?” Asks the Uchiha heir softly.
“They’re doing something really bad, Nii-san.” He says seriously, in that childish manner of speaking he’s been forcing himself to adapt to. “We can’t let them, even if it makes them sad, even if Lord third has to punish them after.”
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
In the following months the crimes of the Uchiha elders alongside his parents and some extremists are revealed to a close number of people. The elders and his parents are put on trial and disposed as leaders of the clan.
In their place, a group of young powerful Shinobi with Itachi as the youngest clan head in history are taking their place. But the Hokage is merciful with them, only banishing them into the outskirts of the Uchiha district, being carefully observed by Hyuuga Anbu.
At the same time, Shisui, coming out of a horrifying fight with Danzo, exposes the man and his followers as sadistic treacherous Shinobi. Training young kids into a personal army, experimenting with dead Uchiha. Killing young, promising ninja just for the sake of emotional torture.
Sarutobi-sama, intransigent as he may be, can’t and won’t allow child abuse in any form, the deaths of so many children forever carved in his mind and his heart as a personal penance. He orders Danzo’s execution on the spot.
Sasuke celebrates his sixth birthday without his parents, but with his big brother by his side as a better clan head than his father could ever be.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Sasuke finds Naruto on a park a few weeks after his birthday. He wasn’t planning on it but he figures this is a good enough moment as any other to start a better friendship with his surrogate brother.
“Hi.” He says over the blond boy who is kneeling alone in the sandbox, looking dejected and broken. “My name is Sasuke. Who are you?”
At first the boy doesn’t realise he’s being talked to, he moves his head but doesn’t look at him until Sasuke stomps his foot on the sand to get back his attention. “I’m sorry” apologies Naruto. “I can go if...”
“I asked for your name.” Insists Sasuke.
“Naruto Uzumaki,” answers his future friend surprised.
“Well Naruto, do you want to play with me?”
Naruto screams an excited yes with one of those sunny smiles that never failed to make girls blush in his timeline, Sasuke smirks as he sits alongside the blond and plays with him until Itachi himself comes from a consul reunion to bring him home.
“Hi, Nii-san,” smiles Sasuke, expecting and faking annoyance at his brother poking him in the forehead. “I made a friend today can he come for dinner and stay the night?”
Itachi would deny his request in a heartbeat if he wasn’t aware of Naruto’s story. But he does and so, he grants him his wish that day and the days to follow. Effectively becoming a surrogate three man family unit for Naruto.
Sasuke still wants to find Sakura, maybe even partake in his own version of puppy-love with her. But the Uchiha’s second son can’t be seen marauding civilian territory. Tentative peace between the Uchiha and the village put into action or not.
So to his utter disappointment they don’t meet each other until they both enter the academy.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Part of Sasuke doesn’t want to be Sakura’s knight in shining armour. Because he genuinely believes that is Ino’s job and because he knows Sakura deserves her independence.
But he hates seeing her cry, hates seeing mean girls hurting her and humiliating her as if the act of belittling her were a sport they were particularly good at playing. Sasuke feels the physical need to run over there were the little girl is kneeling on the floor, hiding her pretty face with her long bangs and tiny hands as she cries her green eyes out while she’s being insulted and kicked by her classmates.
In the end Ino ends up beating him to the punch. The Yamanaka heiress does a beautiful show off being Sakura’s warrior princess, too.
She jumps on the scene with her chest held high, screaming at the girls to stop and to scram, the bullies glare at Ino with defiance and the flower girl returns the challenge with the same or even stronger determination.
She then takes care of Sakura, cleans her dirt covered face and puts a cute ribbon on her head to clear her face.
“There, you look cuter this way.” Compliments Ino holding a hand-mirror in front of their faces.
“But... But my fo-forehead,” stutters Sakura, in a display of shyness Sasuke has never seen before. He’s always known Sakura as an energetic, strong and confident girl, this shy version of her is new and not something he knows how to handle.
“The more you try to hide it, the more attention you bring to it!” Exclaims the blonde. “Besides it’s not so bad, you just have to show off a pretty face like that. I like the style, anyway.”
Sakura blushes and looks at Ino as if she’s the sun. Sasuke decides to let them have their moment.
He has all the time in the world, anyway.
Sasuke resolves to wait until they get in team seven together to become closer to Sakura. He tries to start a conversation with her a handful of times, but her shyness always unsettles him.
He still acts kinder to her than anyone else when he can. Smiling at her when she manages to sit by his side, accepting her hand-made bento when she wills herself to give it to him, he even trains shuriken-jutsu with her two or three times when Iruka-sensei instructs them to pair off.
Sakura doesn’t notice, still too shy and with a still too low self esteem. But Naruto surely does. Sasuke knows Naruto still likes Sakura, he’s attracted to her odd hair and her sunny smiles just as much as every little boy who ever fell for her in his timeline was, and even if the younger Uchiha is aware that someday in the future they will develop a sibling bond, his heart still constricts when Naruto asks him:
“Do you like anyone?” His eyes staring at the ground, while unconsciously scratching his head.
“Yes,” he answers with the honesty Naruto deserves from him. “I like Sakura.”
“Wh-What?!” Exclaims the Kyubi. “You can’t like Sakura-chan!”
“Why?” Maybe it’s healthier for them to exteriorise their feelings about it. He knows one or two things about bottling up emotions.
“Because I like Sakura-chan!” Confesses the boy as if it was the easiest thing in the world to say.
“Well, I like her, too. So if you want to win her over you’ll have to confront me, idiot.” He challenges his best friend with an air of superiority.
“You’ll see!” Screams Naruto, pointing directly at his face “I’ll become Hokage and I’ll marry Sakura-chan!”
And so, their rivalry is born.
Sasuke knows that someday in the future, Naruto will notice the girl that has been chasing him around for longer than anyone.
He also has the conviction to never give up on Sakura’s love, not ever again.
But for the time being, their relationship could do with some girl related rivalry.

Chaos Lineage Yuma Chapter 15 Translation
Tumblr media
Place : Scarlet mansion – Vacant room
Tumblr media
Shin : Hm... Hmmm...
Huh... ? Where am I... ?
Yui : Thank godness, you finally woke up
Tumblr media
Carla : Shin. Are you all right ?
Shin : … Big brother...
Carla : … It seems you remembered
Yui : (Thank godness...!)
Tumblr media
Soon after that, everyone got hit by an
intense dizziness and lost consciousness.
Me and the Mukamis spent days
carrying them all to the rooms and
treating them, Yuma-kun first.
Each person woke up at a
different time, but they definitely
regained all their memories.
Tumblr media
Yui : (I was thinking of what Reiji-san and Shu-san did after regaining their memories...)
*flashback
Tumblr media
Reiji : … I have to repeat and beg for you pardon
Even though my memories went all over the place, I put you in a difficult position... I'm terribly sorry
Yuma : It's hard to realize you said something modest just now
You had a hard time in your own way and were resolute with your choice, right ? Then we're quits
I also get obstinate for something I can't negociate. We're alike
Reiji : But... !
Yuma : Sorry for hitting you once. I got tired about your discipline talk
If you have so much time to lower your head, go do it to your brothers
You've been together for a while. So watch over them properly
See ya !
*Yuma leaves
Tumblr media
Reiji : Good grief... That attitude... It doesn't change from when we were brothers
I will firmly take the lead on my real brothers, as you say
*scene change
Yuma : … ! Shu...
Tumblr media
Shu : … Looks like you forgave that guy
Yuma : Yeah. You aren't to blame at all either. So you don't need to apologize
Shu : I see. So it was meaningless to come here
Yuma : … ! Then it would be nice if you kneel on the ground
I rarely see the neet prostrating himself. Can you do it now ?
Shu : Who would do that ? Whatever, I'm going to sleep
*Shu leaves
Yuma : Ah ! Wait ! Hey, c'mon, Shu !
*Yuma runs after him
*end of flashback
Tumblr media
Yui : (With this, everyone is back to normal. There is no need to fight each other)
(In that case, what we have to do next is--)
Scene change : Scarlet mansion – Living room and dining room
Tumblr media
Shin : Why did I become brothers with lower vampires !?
Ayato : Oh, shut up ! As if I would know even if you ask me !
Kou : Now now, you two are noisyyy. If you want to chat, talk about something meaningful, okay ?
Yui : A-As expected, it's getting out of hand when everyone is assembled...
Yuma : Yeah. Well, I knew that would happen
Azusa : But with this... Everyone returned back to normal, right ?
Yui : Yes. Shin-kun was the last one so they all regained their memories
Tumblr media
Subaru : Honestly, I still don't get it well, but... We fell into someone's trap ?
Laito : I guess. Because we were forced to fight each other, with fake memories implanted in us
Kanato : To top it off, we were brought in such a place. Who's behind this ? I'll never forgive them
Yui : C-Calm down, Kanato-kun
Yuma : If we at least know where that place is, we should be able to escape
Tumblr media
Carla :No, it won't be that easy
Yui : Carla-san ?
Carla : I feel a strong thought process from this land. This is perhaps another place created by someone's magic
Yui : By someone's magic... !?
Reiji : A place created by magic, you say ? So we are confined here
Shu : Then what should we do to get out of here ?
Yui : Well...
(That's right... What should we do to get out ? We don't know the crucial point)
Tumblr media
Ruki : First of all, we should ask that one person who isn't here
Yui : … That's right, Kino-san !
(I feel sorry for Kino-san since he's locked in the dungeon. But he's the perpretator who caused trouble behind our back)
(He didn't show signs of regaining his memories but I wonder if we can ask him something today...)
Yuma : That guy... Even if we go to see him, he'll just say this and that, and end up pissing me off
Yui : W-Well, that's because Kino-san looks like a glib talker
Shin : Hey, we don't know who's that guy called Kino after all, right ?
Isn't that guy the one who confined us here ?
Yui : Eh ?
Tumblr media
Laito : It seems he's not acquainted with any of us. In this situation, he's the most suspicious
Yui : W-Wait ! It's not necessarily him
Azusa : Kino-san hasn't... regained his memories yet, right ?
Then, we don't know who he is, and it can't be helped...
Shin : Hmph. That's also suspicious
Yui : I-It's alright ! We'll listen to what he has to say today. So the conclusion will wait a little more
(Once you suspect something, everything else will look suspicious again. Let's go talk to Kino-san for now)
(Now that it's decided, I have to make a meal for him)
Scene change : Scarlet mansion – Corridor
Yui : Phew... When we all gather, it mostly ends up chatting
Tumblr media
Kou : True true. They all say whatever they want too much
Yuma : You're one to talk
Azusa : Meeting with everyone... was nice and fun...
Yui : R-Right
(He calls it ‘fun’ but it felt like they called each other names...)
(But it may be fun if you think about the time they tried to kill each other)
Yuma : Ouch... Guh...
Yui : Eh !? Yuma-kun ?
Ruki : Are your wounds hurting ?
Yuma : … I'm fine
Tumblr media
Kou : There's no way you're fine ! Because you have such serious injuries
Azusa : Don't overwork yourself...
Ruki : I'm sorry. If I remembered faster...
Yuma : Don't worry. More importantly, your hand...
Ruki : … Ah, this ?
Yui : (It was when he stopped one of Kino-san's daggers... The bandages must still hurt...)
Ruki : If you're concerned about this, it's the same to me. With this, we're even
Yuma : Aah... ?
Tumblr media
Ruki : You already forgot ? When I stepped in this mansion, you stopped my sword with your bare hand
… There's no way I can apologize to you enough
At that time... I caused you so much pain
Yui : Ruki-kun...
Yuma : … Yeah. You overturned the vegetable soup I took the trouble to make, and told me to never come again
Ruki : … Indeed
Yui : Y-Yuma-kun...
Tumblr media
Yuma : But well, you've apologized, right ? So don't make such a gloomy face
At times like this, we should support each other, no ?
Azusa : … Yeah
Kou : Hehe...
Ruki : … That's right
Yui : (Thank godness... They're all completely back to normal)
(I'm really happy they're able to talk like this again--)
*Yuma hugs Yui
Tumblr media
Yui : Kyaaa ! W-What's the matter ?
(H-He's hugging me in front of everyone...!)
Yuma : Are you grinning and staring at my brothers more than me now ?
Yui : (Don't tell me he's jealous !?)
Tumblr media
Choice 1 : I'm sorry (white roses)
Yui : I'm sorry... I was happy by the thought everyone was back
Yuma : Aah ? If that was it, you should have said so earlier. I'm also happy they're back
Yui : T-That's right !
Yuma : But here's a punishment for worrying me... *kisses her
Yui : Hmm !?
H-Hey, your brothers are here !
Yuma : I don't see the problem at all. Let's show them off. C'mon, one more time
Yui : (I-It's embarrassing...!)
Choice 2 : That's not it (black roses)
Yui : That's not it ! Isn't this just your imagination ?
Yuma : You're lying. Your eyes are shifty. Someone like you--
… should be disciplined in front of my brothers. *licks her ear
Yui : Hyaa !? Don't talk so close to my hear !
Yuma : Haha, so you like it, right ? C'mon, let me hear more of your nice voice
Yui : Wait, stop, stop !
– End of choices
Tumblr media
Kou : Ah-ah, they're showing off
Azusa : Let's leave them alone
Ruki : Good idea. If we get in the way of the romance, you will end up being kicked by a horse
Kou : Then see you later, you two ♪
*Ruki, Kou and Azusa leave
Yui : Eeeh !? Don't leave !
Tumblr media
Yuma : Where do you think you're going ? You're not gonna run
We weren't just the two of us recently, right ? So let me feel you
Yui : I-It hurts... You hug me too tightly...
… ? Yuma-kun ?
Yuma : The reason I got those guys back is because you're here. It would have been no good if I was alone
Thanks, Yui...
Yui : … No. Your brothers are back because you did your best. I only helped a little
Just a little more... If we find the way to get out of here, we can all go home
Yuma : Yeah. Let's all live together like before, no matter what
Yui : … Yes !
Scene change : Dungeon
Tumblr media
Kino : … Aah-aah. So that actually happened
I never thought I would be deceived by that Yuma
… When it comes to this...
(Note : The chapter 15 doesn’t really end here but, starting this point, the dialogs will change depending on the ending you will get. So I’ll just stop here and post the rest with their respective ending on separate posts)

Whumptober #20: Wake up! - Bungou Stray Dogs
This title is a bit of a stretch, but I needed a chapter like this at this point in the story. This is a multi-chaptered story, read part 1 here and part 2 here. ***
So this is how it is. After years trying to make things right, this is how I'm going to spend the last of my days. It almost makes one want to keep on living... and how fucked up isn't that?
After trying to kill myself my entire life, here I am, at the brink of death, fighting to stay alive.
If karma was on my side, I might be as bold as to think I deserved another chance, but… Anyone else perhaps. I deserve what I'm getting, and if it's under false pretenses or not, it really doesn't matter.
On the one hand, all I want to do is die and be done with it. Kick the bucket one final time, releasing the Agency of their duties of looking for me. Because I know they're looking. The idiots won't leave this alone before they know exactly what happened.
Then, on the other hand, I want to show these fuckers exactly who I am. No matter how hard I've fought to walk in the light, I'm still Osamu Dazai. The youngest executive in Port Mafia history, the second half of the infamous double black. The monster, the legend.
...reduced to less than the shadow I once cast.
I can't believe I ever thought that things couldn't get any worse.
Just when you think you've lost everything... You'll find out that you can always lose a little more. ***
"Hinata-chan, it's nice to meet you again. I only wish it was under different circumstances," Kunikida greeted solemnly and directed the short brunette to sit on the same couch she had been seated at six months ago together with her mother.
"Kunikida-san, I'm so happy you have reconsidered taking our case further. There's just no way Niko-chan would have drowned like that- she knew better than to go swimming by herself."
Kunikida forced himself not to frown, recognizing that taking on this case was more selfish than not, but he had to act professionally.
"It was never about doubting your suspicions. It's just been very busy," he said. Technically, that wasn't a lie.
"Is Dazai-san here too? He was such excellent help when Niko-chan was missing, even if it turned out the way it did," the young lady asked, looking around the office landscape where several of the other agents immediately turned away and suddenly looked extremely engaged with whatever conveniently close to their positions in the room.
"Unfortunately, he is not," Kunikida answered carefully. "I'm going to be completely honest with you, Hinata-chan. Dazai-san has been missing for six months."
He watched closely as the young woman's expression changed. She looked surprised.
"R-really?"
"Yes, sadly. He disappeared only days after your sister was found."
Hinata looked incredulously into the air in front of her, brows curved into a small scowl.
"And you think it might have a connection to my sister's death," she concluded finally.
Kunikida took a deep breath before he answered. He didn't want the girl to think that this was the only reason they took her case; even if it kinda was. It was hard to look at it in an unbiased way right now.
"Yes, we do," Kunikida settled on, quickly adding, "but that doesn't mean that we wouldn't have taken the case if it wasn't for that. If Dazai-san had been here, I can assure you that he would have been on it as soon he had seen it. That's the only reason we haven't been aware of your application until now. I'm going to be frank with you, most of our time since he went missing, has gone towards looking for him."
Hinata folded her hands in her lap, big bright cerulean eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"I guess it's been a difficult six months for all of us, huh?" she muttered gravely. Kunikida couldn't do anything but agree.
"So, what do you think? Would you like to go through with this?"
"Yes, yes I would. Whatever you need. I want justice for my sister and Dazai-san's disappearance only amplifies my suspicion that everything is not as it seems."
"I believe you are right," Kunikida acknowledged with a short nod and paused for a moment to collect himself. He had read through Dazai's lack-lustered reports from the search, again being reminded of how infuriating it was that the ex-mafioso was so reluctant to put down the work and do it properly. In any other job, a person would have been sacked for something like that.
"I read in your application that your parents-understandably- have taken your sister's death very hard and don't want to go any further into it, but it would be of really big help if they could come in for a talk as well. All and any information would be greatly appreciated."
"Oh, uh, I… I can ask them. But I won't promise anything. My mother will probably try her best, but dad is… a bit more stubborn. I think he took her death the hardest of all of us. He has buried himself in his work ever since. He's hardly ever home anymore."
Kunikida reached out and gave her a compassionate clasp on the shoulder.
"I can only imagine. We will be very respectful. Is there one thing all of the members in our agency knows all too well, it's the pain of being the ones left behind."
A sad smile graced Hinata's thin lips as she gathered her things and left. Kunikida kept his seat in the small area where they would interview their clients for a little bit after she had gone. He felt conflicted about this. Unsure if anything they could learn about the poor girl's death would benefit the family in any way. In the end, it seemed like the only ones that could possibly gain anything at all from this was them.
...and Dazai. And they were definitely running out of time. The sly bastard was persevering, which he had shown time and time again. But six months was a hell of a long time, even considering that the idiot had nine lives and always seemed to land on his feet. He might twist an ankle in the landing but, somehow, it never seemed to slow him down.
"Yo, d'you know where Dazai's reports on the Saito-case has gone?" Ranpo suddenly startled him out of his musings with his question. Kunikida had to think for a moment, before he replied.
"I think Atsushi had it last. Ask him if he's done with it," he muttered absentmindedly. The short detective frowned a little but didn't say anything before he turned around, headed for the weretiger's desk.
After another couple of minutes, Kunikida was able to tear himself away from his spiraling thoughts towards doing something a little more productive.
He had studied the Yokohama map filled with large black X's and notes written in the margin for about half an hour when Ranpo approached him again.
"Uh, Kunikida-san? Did you read Dazai-san's research from this case?"
Kunikida scoffed. Of course, he had- several times. It was the usual chicken-scratches he always presented. Hardly legible, after being hand-written with poor grammar, going back and forth in time seemingly at random, with small add-ins with arrows pointing to where he had meant to put it and scratches where he had spelled a word wrong or changed his mind on how to articulate it.
"Obviously," he answered before he shrugged. "Well, as far as it was decipherable at all."
"Well actually… I think it was code."
For several seconds, Kunikida was unable to grasp what the brown-clad detective in front of him had just said. Because he had read that file so many times that he could quite literally recite it from memory, and not for a damn second had he spotted any sort of code in those crumbled up papers that looked more like they had been fished out from the bottom of a primary schooler's backpack at the end of a school year than as an official document.
"...what?"
"I crosschecked with some of his older reports and it's the same thing. It seems like he always keeps personal notes hidden in code through his reports."
"No, I mean… What the hell are you talking about? There's a code?"
"...which I've already deciphered of course. It's actually quite common. They make a code, mostly to themselves to keep track of their personal thoughts and surmises in their investigations. It's not too complicated, for the trained eye I mean, but they make sure to make it complex enough that they won't get in trouble with the higher-ups if they turn out to be wrong. To avoid being punished for having damning suspicions against their clients for example, or chasing leads that don't turn up anything. It's almost like pig-Latin, really, except it's personalized but there's a fixed pattern and-"
"How in the world haven't you seen that before?" Kunikida snapped, to which Ranpo looked fiercely offended.
"Now you just hold on a second! This is the first time I've laid eyes on that file and I recognized the pattern right away! The Saito-case was sad and all, but it was not a high-profiled case in any sense of the word. Nobody else that's read it recognized it!"
"Yeah, yeah, fine. I get it. I'm sorry. Would you please just tell me what it says?" Kunikida growled between clenched teeth.
"Well, there's nothing about a possible location yet, but," Ranpo took a deep breath and started laying out the pieces of paper in front of Kunikida. "...at least Dazai-san provided us with a name." ***
“Wake up,” a dark voice commanded from somewhere still far beyond consciousness. It repeated itself, several times, coaxing him back to the awful truth of his current existence. His body ached fiercely, foremost his head and throat and the newly broken arm which had not been properly set yet (he didn't know what he had expected; of course they would want him aware for that). The rest of his body hurt too, but it seemed to bleach to this new sensation that was conquering his being. There was dull nausea deep inside his gut too, that threatened to surface more and more at each second that went by.
"That's it. Can you look at me?" the masked man said, and Dazai faintly recognized him as the doctor who just would not let him die. "I have talked them into having you here for at least a couple of hours. You're not going to feel great after this. I'm going to keep you on this IV to avoid any dehydration. That sometimes happens after a… meal like this," the doctor said, looking between his patient and the bag of liquid on the rack a few centimeters above him.
"I also want to keep you on oxygen. When someone has starved themselves for as long as you have, there's always the risk of refeeding syndrome. I've been given strict instructions to not let you die, so that is what I'm going to do."
Dazai was sure he wouldn't have been able to care if he wanted to because as the doctor finished talking, he felt the bile rise in his throat. If it hadn't been for the bonds that still tied him firmly in place, he would have been able to turn on his side to avoid choking on his own vomit.
Luckily, Dr. You-shall-not-pass was quickly at work, loosening the restraints on his head and arms to give him enough reach to puke into the basin that was ready at his side.
Dazai emptied himself entirely, strangely comforted at the feeling. At least, it had calmed the nausea. Latex-gloved hands were steadying him for a moment, ready to lower him back into the bed.
Something inside Dazai's mind shifted in that instance. A tempting while slightly scary thought crossed his mind. Something that had not occurred yet up to this point in his captivity; an opportunity.
Before giving it much more thought, or perhaps unable to, Dazai reached for the basin with shaky hands and quickly whacked it over the doctor's head. He was maybe weak, injured and sick, but if you've killed as many people as Dazai had, you knew where to aim.
There was almost a small pang of guilt ignited in Dazai as the doctor folded in on himself and flopped onto the floor in a motionless heap. But, there was no time to dwell on it. Adrenaline had struck and that was literally the only hope he had of getting out of here without being rescued in the state he was in.
Quickly, he fumbled with the rest if his restraints and yanked the IV out of his hand, threw off his blanket and placed his feet on the floor and got up.
And imminently fell back down. His hip throbbed as if it was set ablaze, leaving him immobilized on the floor while heaving for air as the bile once again rose in his throat.
An alarm had started to signal in the distance and Dazai was faintly aware that he had screwed up the only chance he would get to escape. His vision had already started to blacken in the edges when several armed men entered the room, shouting and making too many loud noises to handle anymore. This time, Dazai considered himself lucky once the illuminating sticks closed in on him with the promise of blissful unawareness. He even made a point of resisting, just so they would make sure that he was thoroughly out before he would meet his inevitable punishment.

Take Care of Yourself or Else
Fictlet Valentine for @bittertomato
Roses are red Tree leaves are green For Valentine’s Day Have some Maya x Claudine
Fandom: Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight Pairing: Tendou Maya x Saijou Claudine
approx. 1,300 words, rated T
In which Claudine pushes herself a little too hard and gets a different reward from the one she was expecting.
Saijou Claudine was determined to make it to the top. She wouldn't let anyone stand in her way, not even that troublesome Tendou Maya. With the conviction of an Olympic athlete, Claudine pushed herself further and further, harder and harder. If she wanted to surpass her rival, she needed to devote every waking minute to her self-improvement. But her relentless training appeared to be catching up with her; she had woken up this morning as tired as she had gone to bed, and even a second cup of coffee had done nothing to energize her aching limbs. It would've been difficult to focus on practice even if her classmates weren't loudly discussing her performance in her earshot.
"Fufufu." Kaoruko watched her with calculating eyes. "Kuro-han is serious today. I'll have to give it my all as well."
Futaba didn't even address that hollow promise. "She seems like she's straining herself."
"Paying a lot of attention to her, aren't you?" Kaoruko said jealously. "You're awfully close with her, right?"
"How do I change the channel on this soap opera?" Junna said dryly.
As much as she loved her friends, Claudine wished they would disappear for at least the next few minutes so she give her undivided attention to her dance practice with Maya.
"You ought to watch your step, Saijou-san," Maya said as they twirled across the floor. "You wouldn't want to make a fool of yourself in front of your rival, now would you?"
"You wish," Claudine shot back. "I've been working harder and harder, narrowing the gap between us!"
"Try as you might to hide it, I can see that you're at your limit already." Maya gave her a concerned look during a pause in their routine. "Perhaps you should stop practice early."
"Non, non, you're imagining things, Tendou Maya," Claudine said dismissively. "I assure you I'm in perfect shape. Never felt better. In fact, I'm—"
—slipping. She landed on her foot wrong and her misplaced weight sent her tumbling, the floor rushing up to meet her...
Claudine awoke in an unfamiliar bed, staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. She would've wondered why she was what seemed to be the nurse's office, but the splitting headache answered that question well enough.
"Oh mon dieu," she muttered, touching her forehead gingerly. "Ma tête..."
"I was wondering when you'd rejoin the land of the living, mon Orpheus."
"My head hurts too much for mythological references and a non-francophone's accent," Claudine grumbled. She raised her head slightly to see Maya sitting on a chair next to her cot. "What are you doing here, you vexing woman?" Claudine demanded.
"I was worried when you lost consciousness that you had suffered a concussion and had fallen into a coma," Maya said. "As it were, the nurse informed me that you were simply so tired that you fell asleep as soon as you were horizontal."
The words "I was worried" coming from Tendou Maya stuck in Claudine's ears. Her face turned red. "Don't get ahead of yourself! I don't want someone like you worrying over me!"
Maya frowned. "Someone has to worry about you, seeing as you are neglecting yourself and your health. You're pushing yourself too hard."
Claudine scoffed. "If I didn't know better, I'd think you cared about me."
"I do," Maya said without hesitation. "I care for you deeply."
"Wh-what are you saying, y-you shameless woman!?"
Maya eyed Claudine harshly, protectively? "I'm not going to let you neglect your health any longer. No more reckless training. And naturally you'll need a proper diet."
"Of course you found a way to bring up food," Claudine chuckled. Maya's weakness for food was one of her few traits that Claudine found endearing. Not that she kept a list or anything like that.
Claudine sat up on the bed, refusing to look up at Maya for one second more. She raised an eyebrow at what she saw when they were at the same level. "What are you doing with that knife?" Claudine asked.
"Don't worry," Maya said. "I'm quite proficient with blades."
Claudine rolled her eyes. "I'm well aware. That's why I'm apprehensive." She scrutinized Maya with her sleep-bleary eyes. "Are you peeling an apple for me?" Claudine was touched by the gesture.
"Something to that effect." Maya was taking a knife to a large, yellow fruit. She held it up for Claudine and announced in an overly dramatic voice: "This is Tendou papaya."
Claudine stared at the fruit and back to Maya. "Did you... get a papaya just for that pun? You could've been normal and peeled an apple, but you chose a papaya instead for the sake of a terrible joke?"
"Joke?" Maya looked serious as always. Claudine couldn't tell if she was using her poker face or if she was actually being serious. She decided she didn't care. "Does that mean you don't want some of my papaya?"
"You couldn't be more infuriating!" Claudine exclaimed. "At least the lecture made sense."
"I'm glad I got through to you," Maya said unironically, refusing to acknowledge her flopped joke. "I understand that you want to improve yourself. We all do. I still have room to improve myself."
"How so?"
"I regret not being to catch you before you fell. As your partner, it is my duty. And of course, a Top Star should take care of her... bottom star."
Claudine blushed and selectively ignored Maya's comments. "Enjoy it while it lasts, Tendou Maya. Soon I'll be pulling you down from atop your pedestal!"
"You do realize that by putting yourself out of commission, you may end up falling behind?" Maya frowned. "I don't recall giving you permission to fall behind."
"Well, I don't recall needing your permission for anything!"
"And here I thought you were desperate for my approval."
"As if!" Claudine exhaled in exasperation. "I don't know why I'm still sitting here listening to you. I won't achieve anything lying in bed," Claudine said, pouting and crossing her arms.
"Rest is an important part of exercise," Maya replied. "You know this as well as I."
"I can handle being on my feet for the rest of the day." She moved to get out of the bed, but Maya got up from her chair and stood in the way.
Maya stared at her intensely. "I'll make sure you stay in this bed, even if I have to hold you down myself."
"Do you even hear yourself, woman?" At the moment, Claudine wouldn't put it past Maya that she'd make good on her threat. After all, Claudine was already tired, and Maya's considerable muscles would've been difficult to fight against even had she been at full strength...
"Saijou-san, why are you staring at my biceps?"
"Nothing!" Claudine settled back into bed. "Have it your way, Tendou Maya. I'll get my rest."
Maya's eyes glinted like a panther's in the night. "I can have it my way, you say? In that case, I appoint myself as your caretaker for the near future."
"Oui, oui, do whatever you like," Claudine yawned.
"It's time to administer treatment." Maya leaned over the bed, brushed her hair back, and kissed Claudine on the forehead.
As it were, her forehead was the part of her head that hurt the worst.
"OW! That hurt! You did that on purpose!"
"I would never," Maya denied, though the edge in her smile implied that the kiss had been intended as a punishment for Claudine getting herself in this situation. As high-brow as she seemed, Maya couldn't resist teasing Claudine and only Claudine.
"Coquette! If you're going to go ahead and kiss me, kiss me properly, damn it."
"A rather bold request, Saijou-san, but as your caretaker I must oblige.?"
"Casse-toi!"

Reiji Sakamaki
Tumblr media
Permissions
Shipping?  Yes.  Singleship per verse with limited verses.  Please note - as stated on the rules page, orientation is typically listed as what the muses think they are.
Duplicates? Multiple ‘Yuis’?  What about character that aren’t on the dedicated castmates list?  Yes.  You can thrust Reiji at Reiji.  There’s also no issue with duplicates of canon, crossover, etc. characters that Reiji is already interacting with.  You want it, you got it.   To prevent destroying the validity of duplicate muses, I will sometimes think of things as ‘A Kanato did this’ instead of ‘Kanato did this’, which is a very subtle difference but prevents another muse from having to deal with the blame of an event they were not responsible for.  This will only be differentiated as necessary within writing.  I repeat: all duplicate muses will be treated with respect, not as ‘fakes’.  Any Sakamaki brother is a brother of his, regardless of how many Kanatos there are (for example).  We’re just going to, uh, slide past that as often as possible (and occasionally make jokes).
Multiple Reijis will be treated as though they’d somehow wandered into one’s world or the other via some enchanted, strange object or doorway in the Sakamaki household.  This allows them to interact, but prevents the concept that one is a ‘true’ Reiji over the other.  You have been warned.
Fighting?  A-Okay.  I’ve done a lot of fighting roleplay but it was in the past and I’m way more interested in the storytelling of it.  It’s better that we discuss the end result beforehand for smoother sailing, but we can improv it as well.  I do this from a storytelling perspective.
Harming? A-Okay!  Just be aware that this muse may harm or kill yours in turn!
Killing? A-Okay!  Please be aware, however, that should the need or desire to continue the verse arise, the death scene will be considered a what-if.  In addition, it is very difficult to kill this muse due to the pureblood resurrection abilities.
Can we send shippy memes / etc.? Sure, we can still explore what-ifs, drabbles and oneshot threads, but the main focus will be on the storyline here!
Can we know Yui has Cordelia’s heart, is possibly turning into a vampire, is surrounded by vampires, etc. and reference this to Reiji? On a case-by-case basis.  It should be discovered organically if it’s not something your character would be able to know already.  There’s plenty of situations where this would make sense.
Can we know about Reiji’s past before interacting?  No, not unless you have genuine reasons for it like being one of his brothers.
Can we have characters comment on the events of the timeline? Yes, if they “catch sight of”, “overhear a rumor”, “a familiar saw X”, or any other sensible reason, then characters can be aware of and comment on events.  I wholly encourage characters participate in Reiji’s life!  Please tell the story with me!
Can we rescue Yui Komori from the Sakamaki household? Unlikely.  At best, if you succeed in the first place, it’s entirely likely that they will find you, they will take Yui back, and they will kill one or both of you for this.  Or the Mukamis might take advantage of the situation!  Obviously, the exception here is the Mukamis, who are entirely expected to attempt this from time to time.
Can we reference interactions we’ve had with your Kanato, etc. to Reiji?  I mean...sure?  If you want?  I’m fine with using my muses for plot and timeline advancements for myself and those I interact with (within limits) but I’d also prefer to not be my Ayato’s Kanato and vice versa, so this would probably be limited.  You can still act like what’s happened has happened, though.

Appearance
[*Credit: Appearance section pulled directly from the Dialovers Wiki.]
Reiji is a tall, slender young man.  His hair is primarily purple-black with a lighter gradient.  It is almost an inch away from being shoulder length and it is neatly combed. Reiji’s eyes are red.  He wears rectangular glasses.
Reiji usually dresses professionally to match his cordial facade.  In HAUNTED DARK BRIDAL, he wears a grey and black vest over a white dress shirt with black pants and a black belt.
In MORE, BLOOD, he wears a black trench coat with a white dress shirt and black pants.
In DARK FATE, Reiji grows his hair out in order to emulate his father.
His school uniform consists of the black school jacket with a buttoned red vest over a black dress shirt and red tie.  He wears it with the black uniform pants and dress shoes.
According to Cordelia, if he weren’t so stiff, Reiji would look just like Karlheinz when she first met him.  She says that even his eyes are just like Karl’s.  This was said in an effort to tease Reiji, since he admires his father and dreams of becoming like him.
Tumblr media
Personality
The household is a reflection of the outside world and one’s ability to affect it.
Despite being the second son, Reiji manages the Sakamaki house during Karlheinz’ prolonged absence as though he is the eldest.  Reiji manages the household funds, affairs and maintains the rules and expectations within the house.  Reiji is a strict perfectionist who values rules and expectations and he demands highly of both himself and others.
Often wearing a smile, Reiji is intelligent, reserved...and pessimistic.  The second son’s polite, refined mannerisms make the barbs in his sophisticated speech come at a surprise - unless you’re related to him.
Tumblr media
History
CHILDHOOD. As the second son of the Sakamaki family, Beatrix raised him to be a servant for his elder brother, Shuu.  She focused her attention almost entirely on Shuu, neglecting Reiji’s ambitious nature and his achievements.
Reiji’s desire for his mother’s approval and attention never waned.  Twisting as the desire continued to be unmet, Reiji eventually burned down an entire human village, resulting in the death of Shuu’s human friend Edgar.  Reiji did this to punish and teach Shuu a lesson while also hoping to help and impress his mother, Beatrix.  Eventually Reiji even hired a vampire hunter to kill his mother in his desire to finally be acknowledged by her.  Instead of feeling at peace with it, he was dissatisfied that his mother was happy that he had killed her.
NEAR CURRENT.  Karlheinz manipulated circumstances to keep tossing experimental sacrificial brides at his children.  None could endure the blood loss, physical and emotional torment.  The sacrificial brides were too fragile and the Sakamakis broke their toys.
CURRENT. A single sacrificial bride is surviving and enduring: Yui Komori.  Whichever brother obtains her will become the Sakamaki heir.  Without directly entering into a “relationship” with any of the Sakamakis, she endures her stay there.

Verses
Brief summaries of the verses for Reiji along with potential links for those less familiar with Diabolik Lovers but still want to interact with him.  For the sake of keeping things clean, encouraging community-wide and cooperative storytelling in roleplay, and not letting things get too crazy, verses will be limited.  More may be made over time as needed.
Summaries:
| DL Anime | DL More Blood Anime | Haunted Dark Bridal | More Blood | (Coming Soon)
VERSE - HAUNTED DARK BRIDAL
*This verse will be typically be the default, 'main verse'. In this, it is assumed that Yui Komori is staying at the Sakamaki household with some version of the first game having taken place. If the second game is included, it's with the idea that Yui stayed with the Sakamakis. Whether Reiji or one of his brothers winds up obtaining the Sacrificial Bride, Reiji’s life continues.
Verse Details | Tag: #V; REIJI; HAUNTED DARK BRIDAL
VERSE - MORE BLOOD
If for some reason it's absolutely necessary to differentiate between the verse above and a verse where More Blood has certainly occured, but Yui did not (at least initially) stay with the Sakamakis and instead is currently living with the Mukamis or was, until recently, still living with the Mukamis.  Rivalry abounds and attempts to procure Yui are likely.
Verse Details | Tag: #V; REIJI; MORE BLOOD
VERSE - MISC.
Posts that could take place in the Sakamaki or Mukami verses but involve duplicates (whether Yui or others) in the same scene in a manner that would be hard to pass off as typical flow for those verses.  Also includes nearly ANY time fellow characters are staying at the mansion, otherwise we’d end up with verses of 20+ additional characters hanging out in the Sakamaki villa.
Verse Details | Tag:#V; REIJI; MISC
SITUATIONAL VERSE TAGS
#V; REIJI; UNIVERSAL
Posts that can easily be assumed to have occured in either the Sakamaki or Mukami verses, typically answering asks, etc. that aren’t directly related to events unique to their timelines.
#V; REIJI; WHAT IFS & #V; REIJI; ONESHOTS
Likely reserved for one-off threads exploring a “what if”, a romantic meme that would otherwise be inappropriate, etc.  If a meme doesn’t quite fit with one of the existing timelines, it’ll get one of these.

a gift for both
Thank you @bsd-secret-santa for organizing this event and answering a lot of my questions! Merry Christmast @neonfigs, I hope for a happy holiday to you, from you secret santa hahaha XD I hope you are satisfied with this DaAku fanfics!
(Akutagawa and Dazai meeting each other in christmas party)
Everything in that huge ballroom repulsed him.
The bright and colorful lights that hurts his eyes, the cheerful conversations that not quite overwhelmed the soft background music, the mouth-watering scents of various kinds of dishes arranged like art on the tables, the carefree smiles from both the mafia and the agency people…
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke stayed on the corner of the room, the only one who radiated aura that repulsed others just like how they repulsed him. The only taint in the painting of myriad colors and happiness.
He covered his mouth with his hand, familiar tinge of copper coated his tongue as his lungs racked from another cough fit. He stubbornly washed the taste down with water from the glass he had acquired earlier when a waiter foolishly approached him with a tray. The only reason why the weak waiter dared to approach him at all was the oath that both Mori and Fukuzawa agreed to in order to have this party. An oath to have both sides refrained from hurting and killing anyone for tonight, the night of celebration party for surviving their latest catastrophe. Any old grudges and strife must be forgotten for this night only, a night of peace after days of gruesome war against the Hunting Dogs. Every member of mafia couldn’t disobey that oath, for they didn’t wish to humiliate their Boss. That was why Akutagawa had to bear the muzzle that restrained his fangs, replacing his usual black coat with ridiculous party get up that Chuuya had coordinated himself. Gin had said that he looked good, but Higuchi was clearly unable to look at him without stuttering like a fool.
But Mori’s order wasn’t the only thing that forced Akutagawa to leave behind his coat, his only absolute safety and most treasured possession, to attend this party that he wished nothing to do with. No, Akutagawa’s reason to attend the party despite his misgivings, was the possibility that man would also attend this party. Akutagawa had done more terrible and more dangerous thing for that person that this sacrifice of comfort was laughable, yet he still stayed in that party. His sharp eyes looked for each corner of the room, hoping to see even the shadow of that person…
His patience was nearing his limit of having to hear the joyful laughter of the weretiger, so near to him but unable to silence with his black beast when his phone suddenly rang. His annoyed growl made everyone around him flinched and backed away, avoiding his ire as Akutagawa yanked out his phone from his pocket. However, all of that barely contained anger went down the drain the moment he saw the name of the caller. Without wasting any more precious second, Akutagawa accepted the call and hurriedly brought the phone to his ear with shaking hands. It felt like he waited forever until he heard that voice. The only voice that would erase everything from his mind so that he could focus on the owner of that voice alone.
“Hi, Akutagawa-kun.”
The messy and tangled thread of his mind slowly unraveled the moment he heard him calling his name. “Dazai-san…” he stood up straight and his eyes sharpened until people around him felt like he could cut them with just his gaze alone. “Do you need anything from me?”
Dazai calling him meant that he got an order for him. An absolute order that Akutagawa would risk even his life to fulfill, no matter what kind of order that was. He waited attentively, like a soldier ready to strike. However to his confusion, Akutagawa heard laughter from the phone. He had never heard Dazai laugh before, at least not from genuine amusement.
“No need to be so tense, I don’t have any order for you.” Akutagawa felt his heart sank to his stomach. Dazai must be able to see his face, because he heard that laughter again. “Don’t look so forlorn, Akutagawa-kun. I do have a request for you though.”
“What is it, Dazai-san?” Akutagawa immediately responded, the only response he would give to anything Dazai wished of him.
“Look up.”
Akutagawa raised his head, his eyes scanning the second floor balcony. Among the fewer people partying their life away on the second floor, he saw his former mentor casually observing him with both arms leaned on the railings. Just like Akutagawa, Dazai had discarded his usual beige trench coat with a formal suit. The left side of his hair was brushed behind his ear, which made Akutagawa’s heart stopped beating for a second. He knew Dazai looked good usually, his female fans back when he was in the mafia proved that, but it was unexpected that just a change or hair style could completely shut down Akutagawa’s brain for a moment.
He knew he was staring, but he couldn’t help it. Dazai noticed it too, but other than a smirk he didn’t say anything. He heard the call on his phone suddenly got cut off and Akutagawa felt the same disappointment and anger as that day when Dazai and the weretiger tricked him to chase after the wireless communication device when in the end Dazai hung up on him.
Dazai stood up straight, just like Akutagawa thought. He was going to leave him again, gaining amusement from how Akutagawa chased after every scrap of attention Dazai deigned to give to him. To his surprise, instead of just leaving cruelly like always, Dazai’s hand raise in front of him. He made a motion as if grabbing something from the thin air and pulled it gently towards him. Unconsciously, Akutagawa’s foot moved on it’s own and he stepped forward.
He saw a glint of satisfaction in Dazai’s eyes and that pushed him to move his foot again. Step by step, he walked closer. When he reached the stairs, Akutagawa had already forgotten everything. The party. Boss’ order. His own disappointment. Everything was unnecessary, so he discard everything away to chase after his former mentor. He even didn’t realize that he had started running, only his body’s hard trained instinct that enabled him to evade the other guests in his chase. He saw Dazai walked away, but his hand was still making that tugging motion.
As Akutagawa chased after that man’s shadow, he realized that Dazai was tugging the invisible chain that bound both of them together. Chain that Akutagawa wore himself years ago, in gratitude for giving a meaning to his life. That deep respect that wouldn’t be erased, no matter how the harsh Dazai trained him to life in the mafia. No matter how many times he was betrayed.
He ran and ran, his barely able to think mind in awe of how Dazai could keep the distance despite how relaxed he walked in comparison to Akutagawa’s frantic sprint. Dazai led him towards a secluded part of the hotel, outside of the noisy ballroom. Akutagawa remembered the blueprint of the hotel for emergency situation and his mind helpfully informed him that they were in the lobby. The mafia rented the whole hotel for tonight’s party and the whole staffs were busy servicing the party, so no one was in the lobby since there wouldn’t be anymore guest coming. But there should be guards patrolling the area…
“I had distracted the guards. We have around fifteen minutes before any of them back.” Dazai turned around and faced him, finally stopping. Akutagawa’s feet also halted, his whole body frozen when he had the full attention of his former mentor. “Let’s talk for a bit.”
Akutagawa didn’t know what to do. What was it that Dazai wished to say to him that he went out of his way to ensure privacy for them? His mind thought of many possibilities and only one seemed the most plausible in his mind.
“Do you want me to kill someone for you?” Akutagawa could only think that. Dazai was working for the Agency now and he may be unable to eradicate anyone without consequences like when he was in the mafia. He knew that Dazai could kill someone and leave no trace behind, but using him was the easiest. Akutagawa was infamous for his reputation as the mafia’s rabid dog, people wouldn’t bat an eye if he killed. Although… he had promised the weretiger to not kill for a while, in order to challenge him again. Of course, he could discard that promise if that became an obstacle in fulfilling Dazai’s order. Although, that would leave a bad taste after his hard work for months in restraining himself from killing his targets.
Dazai smiled, as if expecting his words. “No. Beside, didn’t you make a promise with Atsushi-kun to not kill? I had heard about it, how you managed to keep that promise until now. Even when your opponents were the Hunting Dogs.” Dazai closed his eyes, his expression became a bit more genuine. “I am proud of you.”
Akutagawa’s whole body froze, his widened eyes stared at Dazai in disbelief. “What…?”
“Before, no matter how many times I ordered you to restrain yourself, you keep showing no mercy and killed your opponents.” Akutagawa barely able to hide the wince as he remembered Dazai’s harsh punishment, and from the way the smile disappeared from Dazai’s face he knew that he couldn’t hide it from Dazai. “But you have grown now. You are able to keep to your words, no matter how hard you have to retrain your natural killing instinct and how much more difficult it was to fight tough opponents.”
He remembered the fight with the Hunting Dogs, of how much he had to restrain Rashoumon from targeting vital spots in his enemies’ body. Despite how his hesitance dulled his blade and made it easy for his enemies to corner him.
“You are still in the process, but you will someday outgrow the shadow that I left behind.” Dazai’s words were like hammer that completely destroyed him. “My role as your mentor is over.”
Rashoumon responded to the turmoil in his heart and raged, tendrils of black beast ripped from his clothing, familiar and strange at the same time. Akutagawa was used to pain. His life was full of painful experiences, but everytime he managed to grit his teeth and bear it. But this pain, like there was an invisible blade stabbing through his chest, was unlike any other. He couldn’t deal with the burn behind his eyes nor the way his heart felt like it would break into pieces. So Akutagawa sought for comfort from other feelings that he knew better.
Anger.
Hatred.
“Why!?” Akutagawa screamed, his eyes wild like a mad beast finally unleashed. “Why do you keep leaving me behind? Why—“
He felt a touch on his cheek, and the tranquil that washed over him was familiar. No Longer Human forced Rashoumon back, leaving him defenseless without his most powerful weapon and shield. Akutagawa hissed as he pulled back his fist, trying to prove to Dazai and himself that he wasn’t weak just because his Ability was nullified, but Dazai caught his fist as well.
“Calm down. I said that I am no longer your mentor, but that doesn’t mean that our relationship is over.” Dazai kept his fist and Ability sealed, but it was his words that completely bound him. “This just means that we are equal now.”
Akutagawa slowly pulled his hand back, staring at Dazai in disbelief. “Equal…?”
“I have done a lot of horrible things to you in the past out of necessity and I know you won’t blame me for it because you thought it made you stronger. I can’t make things right if you don’t even wish for it in the first place.” Dazai caressed his cheek, making Akutagawa shivered. He didn’t know if it was from the skin contact or Dazai’s words. Maybe both. So let’s start over from the beginning. I am not your mentor and you are not my subordinate.”
In despair, Akutagawa reached forward and grabbed Dazai’s suits. “But… if I am not your subordinate anymore, then what am I to you now?” His meaning to life, his only ambition and desire, was to someday meet Dazai’s expectation of him. If Dazai wasn’t his mentor anymore, the meaning of his life would be forever unattainable.
Dazai gently touched his trembling hands, the gentleness unfamiliar to Akutagawa that he couldn’t help to flinch. The shine in Dazai’s eyes darkened a bit at that, but his touch stayed gentle. “Now that you are no longer my subordinate, you are someone precious to me. Akutagawa-kun, you always stay loyal to me, even after I have left you behind in the mafia. I don’t deserve that loyalty, but you give it to me anyway. I had expected you to discard me as you seek power, but you keep me in your heart still.”
Dazai leaned forward, until his lips were right beside Akutagawa’s ear. “I want to see more of your growth, with me by your side.”
Akutagawa could feel warmth radiated in his chest from Dazai’s words. It made butterflies flew around in his stomach and the corner of his lips twitched outside of his control. Dazai leaned back, his widened eyes stared at Akutagawa in somewhat stunned look. It took Dazai a few moments before he smiled. An awe filled him, similar yet different with the awe he felt when he looked at calligraphy.
“What a beautiful smile.” Dazai chuckled as he said that. “Is that my Christmas gift?”
Akutagawa was shocked. He didn’t realize that he had smiled at all. He shook his head to protest, because he was sure that Dazai’s smile was much more beautiful than his.
“Now that I have received such a nice gift, I have to give you one too.” Dazai whispered, a sharp glint appeared in his eyes that made Akutagawa instantly wary. “Close your eyes.”
Akutagawa closed his eyes, still used to instantly obeying whatever Dazai ordered him to do. Dazai made a rueful sigh sound, but he didn’t comment on it. Akutagawa waited for what Dazai had planned, but nothing prepared him when he felt something soft and warm touched the corner of his lips, light like butterfly’s wings.
Akutagawa immediately opened his eyes, his gaze immediately fell on Dazai’s face right in front of him. There was a naughty smirk on his face, although that smirk disappeared quickly when both of them heard the footsteps of the guards returning.
“It seems time is up. We should return.” Dazai walked ahead of him. Akutagawa thought he would be left alone with his brain still is mush with what happened earlier, but Dazai turned around and offered his hand to him. “Will you go back with me?”
There was no longer invisible chain binding Akutagawa to this man, yet he still feel the pull to follow him. His hand gingerly accepted Dazai’s, both of their cold hands warmed by each other. Dazai pulled him along gently with him and Akutagawa stepped beside him, walking side by side as they returned back to the still ongoing party. All the way and even after they returned, their hands still intertwined with each other.
(A bit of bonus, since I can’t decide between this fic and the other I had made. You can take this as a sequel from the first one, although it’s not really related.)
Akutagawa woke to the sound of Gin cooking in the kitchen. He looked at the clock by the side of his bed and frowned. It was rare that he slept for more than three hours. The morning chill made his chest uncomfortable, but he ignored the discomfort as he started his morning routine.
Gin had already prepared his breakfast, light and just the bare minimum, with a plate of figs as dessert. Just the way he liked it. They ate in silence, with sometimes Gin talking about her upcoming missions as he nodded along.
Suddenly, his phone rang. Akutagawa pulled it out from his pocket, expecting sudden missions. To his surprise, a short message from Dazai was the one that appeared on the screen. Gin hid her knowing smile behind her mug, making Akutagawa wondered if he was that easy to read.
Still, the butterfly on his stomach fluttered as he read the message.
“Today is Christmas. How about a date?”
Dazai didn’t have to ask. Akutagawa would drop any unimportant things if that meant he could spend time with him.
“Yes, Dazai-san.”
“Great, I will wait for you at the station at ten then.”
“Understood.”
Akutagawa put away his phone and stood up, already about to leave for the station when Gin stopped him by pulling his coat.
“It’s cold outside, it’s better if you wear more layers. It will be bad if you get sick while you are with Dazai-san.” Gin reasoned, her smile kind. “It won’t take much time at all. I will help you.”
Akutagawa relented as his sister wrapped him up with scarf and thicker coat, the material warm and light. Gin picked a pair of black gloves to keep his hands warm. In the end, he looked almost ridiculous with all the extra layers despite Gin’s insistence that he looked really great.
Despite still having a lot of time to spare, Akutagawa almost sprinted outside if not for Gin walking halfway with him as she was going to her work.
When Dazai finally appeared just in time, Akutagawa had been waiting. He frowned when he noticed how pale Akutagawa looked. Dazai stripped off one of his gloves and touched Akutagawa’s skin, his frown deepening when he felt how cold Akutagawa’s cheek was. He took Akutagawa’s hand and brought him inside of a café nearby. Akutagawa didn’t resist as Dazai made him sat in one of the tables, wrapped him in a blanket the café provided, and ordered a hot green tea and hot coffee for both of them.
Dazai sighed as they wait for their order. Akutagawa thought that Dazai would reprimand him, but Dazai kept silent. Wordlessly, Dazai pulled Akutagawa’s gloves off and then hold his hands. The warmth of Dazai’s hand felt really nice on his cold skin.
“I got tickets for calligraphy art exhibition.” Dazai’s thumb caressed the knuckles of his hands. “You still like those, right?”
Akutagawa nodded. Even if he didn’t like it, as long as it was with Dazai he would follow wherever he would go. But he was honest when he said that he still liked calligraphy. The strokes of the blank ink on a white paper was the closest thing Akutagawa could feel to awe at any beauty.
Dazai’s frown melted into a small smile. “Good. I already reserved a place for dinner, but do you have somewhere you want to go for lunch?”
“Anywhere is fine.” Akutagawa nodded. As long as he was with Dazai, anyplace was fine.
“That is actually the hardest to choose, you know?” Dazai chuckled a bit. “There is a restaurant nearby the museum, do you want to try that place?”
Akutagawa nodded again, probably to Dazai’s expectation. Their conversation was interrupted when a waiter brought their orders; a coffee for Dazai and a hot green tea for Akutagawa. Dazai let go of his hands so Akutagawa could hold the better source of warmth, but Akutagawa preferred the warmth of Dazai’s hands than the hot cup of green tea.
They talked a bit more, their conversation light as they relearn everything about each other. Some things had changed, while others remained the same. Akutagawa etched everything Dazai told him in his heart, memorizing every words. It wasn’t long at all, but they finally left the café after finishing up their drinks and Akutagawa’s body had warmed up.
The cold bit into his skin when they braved the cold weather outside of the café, but this time Dazai stayed close and held his hand. Akutagawa felt like he turned into a sponge that absorbed any warmth given by Dazai. The walk from the café towards the museum was quite long, but spending it with Dazai by his side made it barely noticeable. The warm air inside the museum made the two of them breathe a sigh of relief, although Akutagawa’s attention was quickly distracted by the myriad of calligraphy proudly displayed on the walls.
They took their time to visit and appreciated each one of the calligraphy. Each calligraphy, even with the same kanji, had different brush strokes that attracted his interests. When Dazai excused himself to search for a toilet, Akutagawa revisit each one of his favorites and made sure to remember the calligrapher in his mind.
They left the museum hours later, not noticing how time had gone. It was too late for lunch, so they bought a nikuman at the nearest convenience store that they shared. Both of them ate very little, so they didn’t want to ruin their appetite for dinner by eating too much.
Dazai broke the hot white bun in two and offered one to Akutagawa as they walked. “There is still time until dinner, do you want to go somewhere? I won’t accept answers like ‘anywhere is fine’.”
Akutagawa froze a bit, completely troubled. Dazai’s teasing smirk didn’t help at all. Akutagawa tried to postpone his answer by taking a bite of his steaming bun, but Dazai only waited patiently, not letting Akutagawa escape at all. When he had eaten the last bit of his nikuman, Akutagawa finally remembered something. “How about the traditional garden?”
Dazai knew which one Akutagawa talked about. “The one Kouyou-nee likes? Since it’s winter, there will be less people there.”
Akutagawa nodded. He preferred places with less people than the crowded ones. “Can we go there?”
“Sure.” Dazai smiled and took Akutagawa’s hand once again. “Anywhere you want.”
The act of kindness, no matter how many times Dazai had showed this side of him, had never failed to send his heart aflutter. His cheeks reddened and he followed beside Dazai as Dazai took him to the station.
They went to the park. Then they had dinner in a nice restaurant with a secluded room for privacy. The food was delightful and not heavy enough that his stomach protested at the end of the meal. The whole time, they had small talks about everything and nothing at once. It was a really nice date for Akutagawa, he even got a dessert takeout for Gin. Time passed by so quickly, surprising Akutagawa when the sky was dark the time they left the restaurant.
The end of their date was slowly coming. They had to return soon because tomorrow their presence would be demanded by their work place. The Port Mafia for him, and The Detective Agency for Dazai. The peaceful day they enjoyed would soon be chased by days of fighting once again. Today was like an oasis in the harsh desert of their life.
When they reached the station where they met up in the morning, Dazai let go of his hand. His hand felt achingly empty and cold without Dazai’s to hold. But Akutagawa gritted his teeth and endured his dissatisfaction. Both of them looked at each other, hesitating to say goodbye.
At last, Dazai smiled wistfully. “Merry Christmas, Akutagawa-kun.” Dazai took out a small box of present that he hid on the pocket of his coat.
Akutagawa’s eyes widened. He didn’t expect that both of them would exchange any gift. “I—My apologies, I didn’t—“
“It’s alright. I already received it.” Dazai leaned over and brushed his lips on Akutagawa’s cheek. “Today is the nicest gift you can give to me.”
Akutagawa’s cheek burned on the spot where Dazai kissed him. His trembling hands accepted the small box, his breath hitched when the paper that enveloped his gift had a print of calligraphy on it. “Is this--?”
“A set of calligraphy brushes and charcoal ink.” Dazai grinned. “Make sure you show me your calligraphy soon, okay?”
He had never tried calligraphy himself, despite his interest in it. But now that Dazai was expecting him to do it, the fire of determination burned him. He would make sure he could create a calligraphy art that would make Dazai proud of him. “I understand.”
Dazai sighed, although his eyes watched Akutagawa with fondness. “See you again, Akutagawa-kun. Say ‘hi’ to Gin for me.”
Akutagawa hesitated, which made Dazai frowned a bit. He saw Dazai opened his mouth to ask what’s wrong, but Akutagawa quickly stepped forward. He grabbed Dazai’s coat and pulled him closer to plant a kiss on Dazai’s lips. Dazai’s eyes widened for a moment, before mischief bloomed in those dark eyes and Akutagawa was surprised when Dazai deepened the kiss. It was just an innocent kiss, but it took his breath away unlike the way his illness usually did. It felt way more pleasant… and it warmed Akutagawa’s heart and body. Akutagawa whispered ‘Merry Christmas’ to Dazai’s lips as Dazai kissed him again.
They would have to part ways soon, but this moment, this single moment… was all that they need.
