I wish that the Asui Siblings and the Iida Brothers would get some more hype.

Yeah, yeah, the Todoroki Siblings are all hot and cool people. Yeah, yeah, they get the focus more.

But let's acknowledge something.

I'm all the "What if" AUs where if Endeavor wasn't a crap dad and the kids actually had like good relationships and all that.

But!

That kind of rep is already present with TWO different groups.

Tsuyu brings up her siblings and you can tell she loves her sister and brother. She keeps contact with them since moving into the dorms, before that has done her best to make sure her siblings were taken care of when her parents are busy. She even stated Eri reminded her of her little sister. You cannot tell me Tsuyu would also give tips on how to keep Eri happy because she has a great relationship with her siblings.

And the Iidas! The admiration they have for each other is mutual. Tenya wants to make his big brother proud, that his role model! He wad furious that Tensei had to retire because of Stain. Tensei calls Tenya brilliant, gives him advice. He felt like he failed Tenya and that he didn’t measure up to his expectations, even though Tenya thought the total opposite. There's even little moments where they take jabs at each other (example when Tenya asked Tensei why didn't he become something like a firefighter if he wanted to help people, mind you this is little kid Tenya asking this 😆).

Now I'm not saying you should like the Asui's and Iida's more or that they're the better sibling groups. I'm not even saying the Todoroki's are bad sibling relationship representation, they're an example of not having present loving parents. Not saying the Todoroki's are the worst.

I myself love the Todoroki's.

I'm just saying that if you want to see siblings not having strained relationships, there's the Iida Brothers and Asui Siblings. They should get some more hype, is all I'm saying.

There are five sibling groups I can think of off the top of my head. Other than the three I mentioned, there's the Shigaraki Brothers and the Shimura's (Tenko and Hana).

SCRAPPED FANFIC/AU CONCEPT:

In this universe, there are no quirks; there are powers, but they are different from quirks. Only 15% of the world has powers. Those who have powers are either killed, experimented on, weaponized, or completely hidden. Several organizations handle those with powers.

Now Our March is United(N.O.M.U.)

The au revolves around the UA, which experiments and weaponizes power-wielders.

This organization is the only power-wielded controlled organization. They take children as young as 6 months old.

This organization is currently led by ‘Hawks,’ ‘Miriko,’ and ‘Frostbite.’ The way they came into power was by killing the former leaders.

Abilities can be based on many factors- genetics, trauma, location, and food. Some cases involved souls, a soul from the past tethering with one in the present day to revive as a guide spirit.

Satan’s ‘Angel’:

Tsuyu is the eldest and 1st daughter of Gamma and Beru Asui. Tsuyu was admitted into the organization at 5 years old along with her little brother Samidare, who was just 6 months. Later on, her little sister Satsuki was admitted, at 7 months old. For five years Tsuyu's life was filled with experiments and tests, they stopped two after Fuyumi was admitted into the organization.

Before admission into the organization, Tsuyu lived on constant move, so the organization was her first place of stability. Hence why she hasn’t left. Tsuyu had an odd diet. Her mother would prepare a meat-based dish for her every meal. Upon coming to UA, she experienced odd symptoms, which led to the death of a staff member. Tsuyu had bitten off and ate a large chunk of the flesh in his neck. Tsuyu’s caretakers figured out her diets consisted of human flesh.

Tsuyu was a fearless child who wanted to love, so she approached the first person she’d thought would give her love without caring about the fact that the person was a “beast.” Tsuyu always carried a stuffed frog with her, and as a sign of wanted friendship, she gave it to Fuyumi when she first arrived. This started a sister-like relationship between the two.

Tsuyu isn’t mentally stable. She tends to wander at night lost in thought. She switches up and is very aggressive at random. She constantly had a blank, tired, traumatized expression. She has random breakdowns and panic attacks fueled by PTSD. This side of her is almost like a second personality. Which made others believe she received her powers through another soul, unlike her siblings.

Tsuyu adores her younger siblings. When she’s in a clear state of mind, she is constantly buying them things(when possible) and engaging in their interests. She would never admit it, but she views them as her children, especially Satsuki. However, it is starting to become clear she thinks this way to the others, as when she is in her state of deliria, she often refers to Samidare as Lilypad and Satsuki as Tadpole While it was at first brushed off as a simple nickname for them, it became clear within her tone that it was through a motherly lens.

This worries the others, but they haven’t tried to confront her. They can tell that her sanity is wavering, this is one of the few things keeping her sane.

How Tsuyu got her powers was through genetics and trauma. Her parents both wielded abilities and were on the run for murdering a large number of N.O.M.U. members. As a result, Tsuyu witnessed multiple deaths, as her parents weren’t willing to go down easily.

Because of all the death and violence, Tsuyu’s ability revolves around death and resurrection. She can not die. She tends to resurrect or reconstruct herself. She can decide who decides, why, how, and when. She may be able to speak to the dead, but her tendency to speak with herself conflicts with this belief. No one knows if she’s talking to herself or a ghost. When a person is close to death(when it is not by her hands), she can control their bodies, manipulating them to save or continue killing them. If she doesn’t interfere with the death of someone, she can see how they would die when the time comes.

There is a lot more to her ability, but since the testing stopped, nothing more has been found out.

Tsu's siblings:

(This was meant to give them personalities as they don’t have one in cannon, from what I recall)

Samidare is shy and a very creative child. He is all about family and can become protective of his sisters. He understands that Tsuyu is his sister, not his mom, but he still views her as a mother figure. Samidare loves art and makes drawings for his sisters and Fuyumi.

Satsuki is a loud troublemaker. She's constantly pulling pranks and messing with equipment. People consider her an agent of pure chaos because no matter what you do, she will find a way to destroy something. Satsuki often refers to Tsuyu as mom, though she also understands that Tsuyu is her sister.

The Spotlight Fics For Less Popular MHA Characters:

An examination of Jirou's life and relationships and her thoughts on life and death during the lead up to the Kamino Ward fight. Almost hauntingly beautiful and existential in its descriptions of a person's life and how it all, in one way or another, is just a lead up to their death. But it's beautiful. Jirou is an amazing character, and I thank God that this fic exists if for nothing else, to give her development and depth that the show can't. I'd even go so far as to say this is essential MHA fic reading.

A Hagakure-centric fic was something I did not know I needed, but now I'm glad I have it. Hagakure needs stealth advice from Todoroki, and she finds out the barest bones of his backstory and why he is the way he is. I always love fics about less popular characters, and I especially love them when they're told from the perspective of an underappreciated character. I really like Hagakure, and I wish there was more available content about her.

Fantastically written, and it's told from Natsuo's perspective, which is a refreshing take on this genre of Todoroki family recovery fics.

I have always loved the Todoroki siblings, but I feel like Fuyumi is always woefully under-looked in favor of her brothers, so it's always nice to see fics that are about her specifically.

Summary: Your peers notice you've hit a rough patch lately and want to help.

Warnings: Pure fluff, comfort, mentions of depression, mentions of unhealthy habits.

It was no secret: you were going through it. Life was ju8st currently putting you through the wringer and you were beginning to feel like a damp, laundered rag. Due to having a quirk heavily affected by your emotions, every soul around you could feel your upset, as if your depressive mood chipped the very paint off the walls. Luckily for you, they know just the trick to help you out of your funk!

Yuga Aoyama:

"Out of bed, mon amie." Yuga chirped, letting himself into your room, throwing the curtains open. You hissed at the sudden flood of light.

"Aoyama, shut the curtains!" you protested, pulling your comforter over your head and rolling over.

"Not today, cheri," He persisted, tearing your covers from you.

"You've been locked away in this dungeon for far too long, my dear, and I'm afraid you're beginning to smell." He smirked, pulling you out of bed by your wrist, forcefully but with care.

"Gee, thanks..." you grumbled, rubbing your eyes, nonchalantly sniffing your underarm before wincing. "Fuck, I do smell."

"Langauge, amie," He reminded, sifting through your dresser. "But yes, you do, and worse than that, you're loosing your sparkle and that simply won't do." He stood straight, a bundle of clothes in his arms, smiling warmly. "For this time only, I will grant you access to my luxury bath salts, so make sure and enjoy them while you can."

He shooed you out of your own room, shoving your clothes into your arms. "No off with you, towels warm and the bathwater is boiling. Go take care of yourself, darling."

Mina Ashido:

Mina hadn't seen any sign of you in days, worrying her to bits. She knew you tended to seclude yourself when you were down, and she did try to respect that. She'd comb through TikTok, bombarding your inbox with memes, edits of your favorite characters, and 'us' slideshows, but when you would simply heart them (if you responded at all), she couldn't take it anymore.

"(Y/N), are you in there?" She asked cautiously from the hall, knocking softly. "Can I come in, please? I miss you!"

You trudge to the door, wrapped in melancholy and a stale blanket. "What is it, Mina?" To your surprise, she threw her arms around you, tearing up as she saw your disheveled state.

"Whatever it is, I'm sorry!" she lamented, squeezing you tightly. "Whatever is bothering you, we can talk about it, please don't shut yourself away from me!" You'd never seen her so upset outside of battle. She was typically so bubbly, was she that concerned. "Everyone's so worried about you..."

"M-Me...?"" you repeat, not having realized how important you were to others.

"Please, if you won't come out, at least let me in..." she begged, pulling back with an earnest look, onyx scaleras glistening with worry. To her relief and yous, you relented, letting her inside.

Tsuyu Asui:

Tsu had noticed you withdrawing from your peers long before you actually had. First, you wouldn't talk as much in class, then you began eating lunch alone and declining invites out, and then, one day, you disappeared entirely.

She wasn't entirely sure how to go about comforting you, but it was obvious to her you were having a hard time. At first, she just left you alone, thinking you might have needed space, but then she began to wonder if there was something more she could do. Then it came to her, she was a big sister, she was so good at giving comfort to others. She'd just do for you what she'd do her her siblings.

"You you like a hug, ribbit?" the question caught you off guard as you stood in the kitchen, drink in hand, one of the rare occasions you left your room.

"What?"

"I've noticed you've been having a hard time, would you like a hug, ribbit?" She asked, offering you her arms. "I know being part frog, I'm a little awkward to hug, but when my little siblings were upset, I'd-" You didn't care how her slouched back back it odd for you to do it, you wrapped your arms around her, tears streamiong down your face.

"Yes, a hug would be wonderful, Tsu..." you answered with a sniffle. "Thank you." She happily enveloped you in a warm embrace, stroking her thumbs over your shoulders.

"Happy to help, ribbit," she beamed, resting her head on your shoulder. "I'm happy to give you as many hugs as you like, anytime you like..."

Tenya Iida:

Tenya was smart, obviously, but he was still a novice when it came to relationships with his peers and handling interactions. That's why when you began skipping class, he, as class president took it upon himself to hand deliver your homework, along with a stern talking to about attendance. That earned him a door slamming in his face, to nobody's suprise.

Now he knows better. Though it goes against his morals, he cuts you slack, visiting you every day briefly. Papers slide under your door in stacks. Neatly written notes, mock tests, and graded homework, all with nothing less than A's. You haven't done your homework in a week. Among the pages, one day, a letter appears, reading:

"I understand I am still learning how to be a friend, and you are teaching me new ways to be a better one. I appreciate that. I also understand I can't take your woes off your plate, so, even though I find it wrong, I will take on what of your burdens I can. I hope we can talk soon, but until then, take all the time away from school that you need. You will have perfect grades to come back to."

Ochako Uraraka:

'Good morning!' 'Goodnight!' 'How do you feel today?' It seemed like your phone never stopped dinging from how many times a day she texted you. Not only that but she'd check in on you in person multiple times a day as well, especially if you didn't answer any of her texts. She'd bring you breakfast in the mornings and dinner in the evening, catch you up on current events.

Eventually, you wound up letting her stay longer each time, texting her back longer replies. Before you knew it, you were texting/talking for hours. She'd send you a meme and you'd send one back. She'd tell you who liked who in the toher classes and you actually began to care.

You didn't even notice when the worries of your depressive episode began to fade into the background, the excitement of waking up to a good morning text lighting up your day each and every time.

Mashirao Ojiro:

It wasn't clear how it came to this, but here you were, cradled in Mashiroa's lap, tail curled around you securely. "Shhh, it's okay, let it out." he murmured, chin resting atop your head, thumbs stoking your skin with such care as he rocked you back and forth, letting you cry and vent your frustrations.

He hadn't needed to ask, he didn't beg you to talk. He simply knocked on your door and engulfed you in a warm, wordless embrace, the moment you opened it, holding you against him until you stopped resisting. You were rewarded for your surrender with his fingers gently raking through your hair. And then, you ended up like this.

"It's all gonna be okay, I promise." He swore, pressing a kiss to your temple as he felt your breathing calm. You'd cried yourself to sleep in his arms. He was just glad to see your pain fading away, even if momentarily.

Denki Kaminari:

"Why'd you stop answering your phone?" Denki asked, leaning into your doorway. "I've been worried sick."

"It died," you said dismissively. In truth, you doom-scrolled the battery to death.

"Charge it, maybe?" he deadpanned, cocking a brow at you.

"Lost my brick." you answered numbly, moving to shut the door, simply wanting to crawl back into bed, only to have his foot come between it and the frame.

"Bullshit," he called, pushing his way into your room, kicking out of his shoes and crawling into your bed without care in the world. "C'mon," he patted the space beside you, rolling his eyes at your befuddled expression. He swiped your chord off the nightstand, popping it in his mouth. "Bring me your phone." he said, words muffled by the charged between his teeth.

Your shoulders slumped as you came closer, handing it over, watching him plug the chord into it before holding the power button and bringing it back to life. Reluctantly, you crawled under the covers with him. "What are you doing?" you asked as he opened the Youtube app.

"You look like you could use a laugh," he smirked fingers tapping across the keyboard. The search bar read 'kids getting hurt'.

Eijiro Kirishima:

Eijiro sat on the outside of your door, rapping softly against it near the bottom. "Talk to me, please?" He asked, defeated. "I wanna help..." He had been at this for hours, listening to you cry on the other side of the locked door. He finally sighed, shifting into a more comfortable position. "We don't have to talk, if you don't wanna, we could just chill..."

Ten minutes pass and still, your only response to his coaxing are sobs not even meant for him. "I'm not exactly cuddly, but I could give you a hug?" he offered, knowing it was futile. "We could watch a movie, just lay in bed." he swallowed hard, rolling his stiff neck. "Just let me know you're okay..."

Still, he got no answer and part of him began to wonder if he was doing more harm than good. "Want me to just go...?"

"...No..." your soft voice came from the other side- inches away. When had you moved closer? It didn't matter. His fingers slipped under the crack of the door as a sympathetic smile crept across his face, widening when he felt yours graze them.

"I'm not goin' anywhere," he reassured kindly. "We don't gotta talk, I'll stay out here all night if I have to. Until you're ready for more than company."

Koji Koda:

Koji had no idea how to help soothe your pain as shy as he was. He could hardly talk to you in person, what could he possibly do? Well, he did have your social media, and he knew your favorite animal...

At exact times, staggered throughout the day, your phone would buzz, always with a message from him saying something like: 'I hope you're doing okay today!" with an attachment of a cute video or picture of your favorite animal. Sometimes they'd come with a little factoid about the animal.

It wasn't much, but he put a good deal of effort into this ritual, always making sure the messages, facts, and media were never the same. Little did he know, his efforts weren't in vain, they meant everything to you.

Rikido Sato:

Rikido had many flaws, but if there was one thing he was an expert at, it was keeping an index of everyone's tastes, and baking. That's why when he noticed you beginning to pull away from your friends, he was quick to jump into action. He wasn't one for confrontation, but acts of service were how he showed he cared.

He knew you favored a certain flavor, and he challenged himself to see how far he could take that knowledge. What all could he do with the extract of one flavor?

You were taken back when you began finding treats waiting for you outside your room every day. Poundcake on Monday, cupcakes on Tuesday, tarts on Wednesday, and so on and so forth. After a week or so, he was beginning to sweat, having scoured the internet and every book on his shelf for new recipes.

On the eighth day, while setting a beautifully wrapped box of cookies at your door, he jumped out of his skin, looking up to find your feet in front of him. "Sato..." you muttered, smiling sadly down at him as he bashfully stood, hulking over you.

"S-Sorry to bug you, just uh..." he explained sheepishly, lifting the package off the floor and handing it over directly. "I-I made you some cookies and..."

"Thank you..." you smiled, holding them to your chest. "You're so sweet." He was delighted to see such a genuine look of joy in your tired eyes. He felt like he'd found you after a long search.

"There you are..." he smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Missed you..."

Class 1-A PowerPoint Night

A PowerPoint night is when a friend group all make PowerPoints on random topics and present them to each other in case anyone doesn’t know. This is what I think all of class 1-A would do.

Yuga Aoyama makes a PowerPoint explaining french slang terms that he thinks the entire class should start using

Mina Ashido makes a PowerPoint rating everyone’s families. Points are awarded based on presence of both parents, how well each student gets on with their parents, whether they have siblings (younger siblings get less points than older ones) and how much she personally likes their family members.

Tenya Iida makes a PowerPoint on how to revise for their upcoming exam, complete with diagrams and information about the psychology of learning. The class feel like they’re in a lecture.

Tsuyu Asui makes a PowerPoint where she turns things the class has said into Pinterest-style inspirational quotes and they have to try and guess who said what.

Ochaco Uraraka makes a PowerPoint on tips to save money, because you cant tell me some of the people in this class buy useless things they either lose, forget about, or have no idea what to do with.

Mashirao Ojiro makes a PowerPoint of things he does not understand. It features things such as the existence of languages, barcodes, and credit cards.

Denki Kaminari makes a PowerPoint called ‘Crying Wrapped’, which details the reasons he has cried over the least year, which months he cried the most and the least in, and rates his top 5 cries with little explanation

Eijiro Kirishima makes a PowerPoint called ‘things I’ve seen at the gym that just make sense’. Some of them have pictures to go along with them, and Ochaco and Katsuki nod along and say ‘I remember that’ to every other slide.

Koji Koda made a PowerPoint on why Aizawa should let them have a class pet. The PowerPoint actually had good reasoning so they emailed it to Aizawa, who only responded ‘no.’ And did not elaborate.

Rikido Sato makes a PowerPoint assigning each classmate a type of cake. He lists the reasons, the ingredients, and has a nice message for each member of the class on the slide with their cake

Mezo Shoji makes a PowerPoint about how Tokoyami is Not Real. Enough said.

Kyouka Jiro makes a PowerPoint detailing the soundtrack she would put together if their life was a movie, complete with photos and video clips of stuff they’ve done to go along with each moment she assigns a song to.

Hanta Sero makes a PowerPoint called ‘Canada is not real’, and it lists all the reasons why he believes Canada is made up. Shoto is nodding along and finds it very thought-provoking

Fumikage Tokoyami makes a PowerPoint analysing everyone’s entire zodiac charts. Kirishima is shocked to find out there’s more than just the sun sign. They also give everyone their horoscopes for the next month.

Shoto Todoroki makes a PowerPoint on conspiracy theories that he actually believes. They’re all completely insane but he does end up convincing some members of the class by the end.

Toru Hagakure makes a PowerPoint on Disney Men and whether or not she would trust them with her drink with little to no explanation. All the girls agree with her ratings.

Katsuki Bakugo makes a PowerPoint rating each of the barbie movies based on whether or not he could beat the protagonist in a fight. The class is shocked to find out that Katsuki does believe he would lose to some of the barbies.

Izuku Midoryia makes a PowerPoint analysing the class’s fighting techniques and their strengths and weaknesses as heroes, using all the notes he’s written about each of them in his notebooks. Additionally, he assigns everyone in the class a current pro hero that they’re most similar to.

Minoru Mineta makes a PowerPoint rating the girls in every class of their year group and is not allowed to present it.

Momo Yaoyorozu makes a PowerPoint assigning each classmate a different kind of tea, complete with the benefits of each flavour and why she would give it to them. She also includes the prices and the best places to buy them.

Ochako doesn't have that much money, or any at all, so she usually window shops. Tsu isn't broke or rich, so she spends a normal amount.

If you were rich, they wouldn't use you for your money at all.

And if you were broke, they wouldn't mind!

Ochako loves to give you two gifts, she isn't able to buy the gifts, but she loves to make them.

Same with Tsu, it isn't her love language but gifts are something she loves to give.

Picnics by the pond. You three enjoy nature together all the time!

You three love to bake together. Ochako would bake you both your favorite desserts as a suprise.

Tsu is a very blunt person, but you and Ochako are very dense. It took her having to outright kiss you both for you and Ochako to realize she loved you two romantically.

Sometimes, when it rains, the three of you decide to take walks. Mainly for Tsu, but you and Ochako enjoy them as well.

Tsu's siblings LOVE you and Ochako!

Tsu notices when you or Ochako are nervous, so she holds your guy's hands to calm you down.

Ochako is the best at comforting! She's able to relate to people on a personal level so whenever you or Tsu are down she's able to make either of you feel better again.

Tsu is definitely into crystals, so she'd give you and Ochako ones that remind her of you guys.

Tsu and Ochako are able to communicate very easily with you.

Tsu is patient and blunt, while Ochako is calm and understanding.

If an argument were to surface, you three would understand eachothers side and improve.

Your communication with each other makes you all stronger!

In the winter, You and Ochako cuddle up with Tsu. You have to keep her warm somehow..

Unlike Tsu, Ochako would post you both!

I'm curious, in The New Day's AU, what traumas do the parents/older siblings project onto their surprise adopted kids?

Oof this answers probably going to be long and all over the place so bare with me please.

Shigaraki: Shiggy has abandonment(All his family dying then later Afo leaving him) and trust issues(Finding out that the heroes he loves so much are the reason his father abused him and later failing to be saved by those same heroes.). He fears his last real piece of family being taken away from him so much that he'd do anything to keep Izuku safely contained at his side even if it means hurting his little brother. The heroes would do much worse to him in his mind.

Dabi: To me Dabi has a severe inferiority complex and so so much rage from being beaten abandoned ignored and replaced by Endeavor. That even though he loves Shouto there's a mean little part of him that likes seeing his father's masterpiece so weak and utterly dependent on him. He's never going to let Shouto grow to be stronger than him and despite being kinder than his father Dabi is still just as manipulative and possessive. He's never going to let any of his family become more powerful than him or be away from him ever again.

Hawks: Hawks went through so much neglect and abuse from not only his bio parents but also the commission. He's lacked any sort of familial bond for so long that even though he is using the same tactics used to train him on Tokoyami he feels its not wrong because its still better than what he went through. Finally being able to freely partake in his avian biology and using those same instincts against Tokoyami is cathartic for him. He's indulging in all the things he was never allowed to do/have even if its against Fumikage's will.

Twice: Jin grew up a poor kid with neglectful parents he honestly thought he was doing Ochaco a favor by taking her in. He assumed she was in the same boat and thought he could provide her a better life. He's not trying to be malicious he just can't stop projecting his and Himiko's experiences onto her. He thinks her wanting to go back is self-destructive/self-harming behavior and will stop at nothing to end it.

Toga: Poor bby has so many issues from her parents she couldn't help but project that onto Ochaco. She can't see parents doing their best despite their poor finances all Toga sees are people trying to exploit/use their daughter. Himiko just wants to give Ochaco everything she ever missed out on and more even if that's not what Ochaco wants. She wants her to be cherished and loved even if her idea of love is a bit...skewed.

Spinner: Poor Spinner faced so much discrimination in his life he thought Asui would genuinely happier with him. He thought she would be happy to live with someone who has experienced the same type of discrimination.

'Y/n!" You heard someone calling your name. You turned away from Asui and looked towards the person who called you. "What's up, ugly?" you playfully teased your brother. "That's not nice, you know. And you're calling yourself ugly too, even though we look the same," Denki smirked, proud of his comeback. Asui couldn't help but let out a muffled laugh, causing you to roll your eyes. "Whatever, what do you want, Denks?"

"Can we sit together on the bus?" he asked. "Okay, what did you do?" you asked suspiciously, knowing that Denki wouldn't willingly sit or hang out with you. "Nothing, can't I just want to be with my loving sibling?" he said, attempting to hug you. You quickly put your hand on his face, stopping him from getting any closer. "Yeah right, spill it." Denki sighed and glanced behind him. "I don't know what I did wrong. I was teasing Bakugo about how he acts differently around you, and maybe he has a crush on you. The next thing I know, I'm getting punched," Denki whined. You rolled your eyes and pinched his cheek where he got punched. "You're not that clueless, Denki. You should know better than to mess with him."

"STOP THAT, IT HURTS!" he yelled in pain. You couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "You're so loud, how are we even related?" You rolled your eyes as Denki held onto his cheek. "I know, but please sit with me. He'll kill me if I'm not with you. If he sees you, he'll calm down," Denki pleaded. You shook your head and said no. "Nope. I'm sitting with Tsu," you smiled as you patted his back. "Good luck," you said mischievously as you walked away. "You know, I wouldn't have minded not sitting with you," Asui said, walking alongside you. "I know, but that's payback for when he gave Mineta my underwear," you shivered.

Your class is currently on a trip to the mountains. Aizawa mentioned that you all needed a break and some fresh air, and although you suspect he might be lying about the break, you're still excited to explore and hike around. As you boarded the bus, you noticed Denki hiding behind a seat, hoping to avoid Bakugo's attention. However, luck was not on Denki's side as Bakugo ended up sitting right across from him, his eyes fixed on Denki. You couldn't help but giggle as you turned your attention back to Asui, who was talking.

After an hour or so, you finally reached the mountains, and all the kids eagerly rushed out to stretch their legs. You walked towards Bakugo and jokingly told him to go easy on your brother so he could carry your things back home. Bakugo rolled his eyes and replied, "I'll try, but it's not my fault he's an idiot." You smiled softly and squeezed Bakugo's forearm before saying goodbye and running back to your friends.

After 2 hours of your class hiking, you were stepping down a ledge when somehow fell, your face eating the dirt. " Y/n are you okay?" Asui was the first one to ask you, as she helped you up. Your fall getting the attention of some people who were walking behind you. "Yeah just a scrape" you lied, fullying know it was something more serious when you heard the pop. "Yeah there's some blood, let's go find a place you can sit"

"Are you alright, Y/n?" Denki asked, jogging up to you. "I'm fine," you replied coldly, the pain threatening to bring tears to your eyes. "You're acting strange," he began. "I swear, I'm fine. Let's just keep going," you insisted. Your friends nodded and continued walking a few steps ahead, but suddenly, you collapsed onto the floor. "Nope," you said, wincing in pain as you grabbed your knee. "I told you!" Denki exclaimed. "Let me carry you-" he attempted to lift you, but struggled. "Wow, Y/n, did you gain a ton or something?" he remarked.

"Go to hell," you hissed. "Im getting Mr.Aizawa" Iida said before running off to where he was last time. "Fucking idiot" Bakugo pushed him as he easily picked you up. "Katsuki, put me down," you whined, trying to pry his hands off.

"Don't touch me."

"Don't touch ME!" you yelled. Denki was right about one thing - you became incredibly irritable when in pain, much like the guy currently carrying you. "Y/n, calm down, we're just trying to help," Kirishima attempted to reason. "I don't remember asking for your help, bitch," you snapped. Kirishima's mouth dropped open in shock as Denki burst into laughter. Just as you were about to use your quirk on your brother, nothing happened. "Can't we ever have a normal day?" Aizawa sighed as he approached you, using his quirk, with Iida following closely behind. "Where does it hurt?"

"My knee," you grumbled, arms crossed tightly as you were still being carried. Aizawa glanced at your knee, then back at you. "Looks pretty bad, Y/n. You're going to have to go to the hospital."

"Nope. I absolutely refuse," you declared, starting to climb off of Bakugo. "Yes, you will, and that's final. Denki and Bakugo will go with you. I have to take the class back now anyway."

"Let's head back to where the buses are, Denki," Bakugo suggested, and the three of you made your way down to where an ambulance was waiting. They transported you to the hospital, where you underwent an x-ray and were given strong pain medication. Now, you sat on the bed, waiting for your doctor to arrive. "Why are we flying? I thought we were already at the hospital," you slurred, looking at Denki. "Y/n, we are at the hospital," he chuckled, taking a seat in a nearby chair. "Nuh uh, then why do you feel so light?" you smiled mischievously. "I should probably record this," Denki said, pulling out his phone.

You sighed, turning your head and spotting Bakugo. "Oh, hi," you greeted, giggling and waving your hand in front of his face. "Careful," he snapped, moving your hand away. "Why? I want to touch you. You have such a soft face," you whined, continuing to pet his cheek. "Y/n," he warned. You withdrew your hand, crossing your arms. "You're so mean to me. How am I supposed to love you if you're mean to me?"

Bakugo's eyes widened in surprise. "Denki, stop filming," he exclaimed, clearly caught off guard. Denki shook his head, a mischievous grin on his face. "Nah, bro," he chuckled. "I still love you though, no matter how mean you can be. I'll always be by your side." You couldn't help but giggle as you reached out and held his face.. "Denki, look at how handsome he is," you said, planting kisses all over Bakugo's face. Bakugo's patience wore thin as he snapped, "Stop recording idiot!"

"Fine, fine," Denki smirked, starting to walk away. "I'll leave you two alone."

"Finally. He really gets on my nerves," you huffed. Bakugo, surprising both you and himself, began to let his walls down and show vulnerability. "Do you," he started, his voice filled with doubt, "do you love me?" he asked, avoiding eye contact. "Of course I do," you reassured him. "Why do you think Denki keeps bringing me up in front of you? He knows I like you."

"Why me? There are so many other people who are more your type. I should be the last person you go for," he muttered. "But you are my type, Katsuki. Why can't you just accept that?" you replied, determined to make him understand. You gently grabbed his face, forcing him to look at you. You knew he despised feeling vulnerable, but you didn't care. "I do-" you began, but he cut you off by pressing his chapped lips against yours, his hand gripping your shoulder. The moment was interrupted by Denki walking in. "Can you two hurry the fuck up? The doctor still needs to pop your knee back in place."

"Oh man, these drugs are really hitting me hard," you exclaimed.

"Denki, if you breathe a word about this to anyone, I swear I'll make you regret it," Bakugo growled. "Oh, don't worry, I've already shared the video of Y/n kissing your face in the class group chat," I added mischievously.

"You better start running, Denki," you giggled, sensing Bakugo's anger rising. "Y/n, let the doctor know he's about to have another patient," Bakugo shouted. Denki sprinted away, with Bakugo hot on his heels. "I'M SORRY!" Denki's voice echoed down the hallway.

"Damn," you muttered, as your phone kept buzzing with messages from the class

Shouto and his adoptive sisters, part 2

Would have loved to see an actual team-up between these two: The guy who thought his quirk works best without teammates around him, and the girl known for being one of the most versatile battle comrades you can have.

Asui is the older sister to two younger siblings. I headcanon that she talks to Todoroki like how she talks to them: Encouragingly and patiently, without any condescencion.

They got closer after Asui cried in front of him and the other kids, who sneaked away to Kamino. Todoroki was reeeally sleepy, but he still felt bad about having partly caused her distress, so he tried to talk to her more afterwards.

When the weather turns cold, Todoroki and Asui often end up sitting close to each other: First on the school bus, then anywhere else. Todoroki gets some comfort out of seeing how his fire side, which he had rejected for so long, can be helpful to others even outside of combat - be it to keep Dark Shadow obedient to Tokoyami, or to keep Asui from involuntary hibernation.

Headcanon: Todoroki intentionally chose the spot in front of Asui and Uraraka. He wanted Deku and Iida to join them but before they could, Aoyama and the other girls placed themselves around 1-A's pretty boy.

I saw a fan comic once, in which Asui brought Todoroki a cup of tea and he accidently refers to her as “nee-san”.  I headcanon that this has happened more than once. Todoroki’s cheeks turned rosy the first couple of times. Then Asui asked that he call her “Tsu-chan”, and he felt even more embarrassed by that.  

As such, Asui remains “Asui” when they are with others. She doesn't correct him, because when she’s alone with Todoroki-chan, she gets to hear “Tsu-nee-san.” Todoroki ends up calling her that nonchalantly. They also ignor that he's actually a month older than her. Considering how he doesn’t use honorifics with any of his other classmates, Asui feels rather special.

Todoroki really does emit youngest child vibes sometimes.

It seems like, barring Deku and Bakugou, most of Todoroki’s classmates didn't know anything about his family drama, until Dabi broadcasted it to the whole nation.

For example, I’m don't think Iida ever picked up on anything prior to Dabi’s dance. He's probably Todoroki’s closest friend (alongside Deku), and he cares a lot. But Iida also tends to be blind to emotional undercurrents. In one of the light novels, he accidentally pisses Todoroki off by telling him off for how he refers to his father. When he visited Todoroki in his room on Troy, he also made a well-meaning but misplaced comparison between their families.

However, a few of them did take notice of Todoroki’s complicated family life, e.g. Kirishima (Todoroki didn't hide much in BNHA's supplementary works). I headcanon that Uraraka and Asui were also among those, who at least picked up on the fact that Todoroki had grown up in a very strict environment. Asui Tsuyu: Average, though struggles more than others due to her larger family. Often has smaller meals for her younger siblings can eat properly.

Bakugou Katsuki: Wealthy. His parents both have well paying jobs and don't hesitate to spend. I mean, he lives in a house where most live in flats/apartments. He's doing fine financially.

Hagakure Tooru: Steady. As in, average but doesn't really experience any highs or lows.

Iida Tenya: Rich, considering his family lineage. Doesn't flaunt his wealth but also can't really hide it considering his upbringing.

Jirou Kyouka: Wealthy. Her parents are musicians, pretty popular ones, so she's pretty well off. Only really tells people if asked directly.

Kaminari Denki: Average. A few dips here and there, but doesn't struggle as much as others may.

Kirishima Eijirou: Average. Not much to say here. He's a single child, so there's only three people to worry about feeding or spending money on.

Ojirou Mashirao: High. Enough to afford consistent martial arts lessons, in any case. Doesn't really experience any surges or dips.

Satou Rikidou: High. His parents own a bakery, supplying more than enough money to live comfortably.

Sero Hanta: Average. Experiences lows more than highs, but is more than comfortable in his lifestyle.

Shouji Mezou: Low. It's average according to his hometown, but low according to the main city. If he tried to live there, he'd struggle a lot.

Todoroki Shouto: Rich, considering Endeavour. Doesn't flaunt his wealth, but is unknowingly rubbing it in sometimes.

Honenuki Juuzou: Average. His parents' mutations aren't so obvious, but's enough to prevent them from climbing higher in the chain.

Kaibara Sen: High. Ends up spending his allowance on his friends and doesn't really think about buying expensive stuff.

Kamakiri Togaru: Average. While his father shares his mutation and thus can't get a high paying job, his mother doesn't have a mutation and works as a nurse.

Kendou Itsuka: High. Her parents own the dojo she learned martial arts from, and it gets a lot of students.

Kodai Yui: Average. Her parents don't have any oustanding jobs, and they don't struggle with bills or putting food on the table.

Komori Kinoko: High. Her family owns a farm, so their expenses are able to go to things other than food.

Kuroio Shihai: Low. He gets his quirk from them, with his father having the completely black skin, which turns many off, and his mother has a shadow that moves in audacious ways, so both can't land a good job.

To be honest, in canon, I'd have most be in the 'High' or 'Wealthy' category, due to U.A. being a top-notch school. However, in this rewrite, hero students are scholarship students, so money isn't a factor into them attending U.A.
