ASTRO OBSERVATIONS by Oceanbaby888 🔥🐦🔥🛸✨
Just my thoughts & observations! Please do not steal my work or repost without credit. Thank you!
While Saturn, Sun, and Pluto are normally associated with power, I have observed the power of Mercury. To know how to manipulate and bend language to your advantage is definitely a skill! We forget that Mercury also rules our daily lives, and when a Mercurial person knows how to find those advantages through language, daily life, etc is not a force to be reckoned with! 💚🤖
I think it is so funny how during the Mercury in Aries transit there have been multiple diss tracks & public rap beefs in the music industry. Notably Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake but also Suki vs. JT. Especially with the North Node currently in Aries. If you postion the day Kendrick released "Euphoria," at 12pm in Santa Monica, CA (the location of Interscope Records), there was a Mercury-North Node conjunction in Aries at an orb of about 3°!!! The same when Kendrick released "Not Like Us" but at an orb of 5°!! Crazy work! 🤯😯
I think Virgos/Scorpios/heavy Plutonian placements (including MC) would make amazing data analysts and data scientists. If you are ever looking for a career that will call for finding patterns and digging deep into data and extracting some finds from it, I think this would be good. These placements are quite patient when it comes to finding patterns in my opinion. 📈
A Pisces that can separate their emotional state vs logical state is also a force not to be reckoned with. Really as crafty as a Gemini (sorry Geminis but yall can be crafty 🤷🏾♀️). Please never underestimate the power of a Pisces that can snap out of their emotional fuzz.
We have to commend the fact that mutable signs are so adaptable to life. As I grow older I notice life is just about change, change, and change.
I’ve noticed that Mercurians really don’t pick sides, I infer that comes from Mercury being the planet ruling neutrality. I think it’s less apparent with Geminis given they are air signs (who are known to thrive off being social), but more apparent with Virgos. 🙅🏾♀️
For a Mercury-Saturn aspect time is usually of the essence. 😂😂😂 Not saying they aren’t punctual, but I’ve noticed (myself included) we are very particular about how we spend our time. We don’t like our time being wasted at all and will leave people behind if needed.
🧡🧡🧡

I think I've come to the conclusion that I in fact suffer from moral guilt.
#even if someone jokes about the most mundane things like “oh September Libras are such red flags”#I begin to get really paranoid and start to genuinely believe im a bad person#idk if this is a good example.#does anyone know what im trying to say?#astrology mention#or like “if you like to wear green shirts you would most definitely betray someone”#and all I can think about is the fact that ill betray someone and I isolate myself and even get sick

I know people say that 8/12th house synastry makes you intertwined and bound on a soul level right away and so on and I’m not saying that this is false at all, but I just want to add 6th house synastry to this
6th house is your daily life, routine, work, etc.
Having prominent 6th house synastry brings someone literally into your life, this person suddenly snuck into your life and pops up everywhere, almost sneakily tries to bind their routine with yours which is so powerful when it comes to attachment and how relationships of any kind are build and maintained in general in our life!
You can be bound to a person by emotion only and it’s very strong but so is being bound to a person because you literally spend your everyday life with them. It makes you attach to someone so fast, that’s why having beneficial 6th house synastry generally is very nice to have!
And if this routine feels nice and easy too?!?! Endgame, that’s your hubbie now
#honorable mention having virgo placements in significant contact in synastry#astrology#synastry#6th house

Basically do you think Edwin knew Monty was asking him on a distinctly romantic outing, or that Monty's crush flew over his head entirely right up until their first kiss. Was he surprised because he didn't realize he was being unclear about trying to let Monty down slowly, since he had feelings for someone else, or was he surprised that Monty had romantic feelings for him?
#edwin payne#monty finch#monty the crow#dead boy detectives#polls#I'm so curious to hear how people interpreted it#because i thought Edwin was letting him down slowly but went a little TOO slow on my first watch through#but after a few rewatched i think edwin was in full denial the entire time#the only person who says they think it's romantic explicitly is Niko#and Edwin makes it clear he doesn't believe her#Monty asks him out for coffee or the ghost equivalent HANG OUT. NOT DATE.#and he mentions his venus moving through his fourth house which I can only assume has some deep romantic implications in astrology?#but I don't know enough about astrology to say for sure. just. yknow. i know who venus is in roman mythology.#but i doubt Edwin would take that same logical leap as enough evidence that a BOY might have a CRUSH ON HIM. INCONCEIVABLE.#also I'm not tagging this as montwin because that feels disrespectful 😂

Rising signs
Just a post about rising signs - the details I notice about each physically and personality wise. I may change/add to this later
**Aspects to ascendant, venus, stelliums, degrees, and anything in 1st house can affect your rising sign**
___
Aries
Strong/thick eyebrows
Strong features...sharp jaws and cheekbones
Can have markings on their face
May have big foreheads
Naturally blunt and straightforward, sassy
___
Taurus
Broad shoulders (esp if person has strong venus + Taurus influence). Taurus does rule the neck and shoulder areas
Pointed chin and cheekbones, angular jaw
Long fingers
Tend to be more slender compared to Taurus suns
Simple and clean fashion usually, may wear accessories. I know a lot of Tauruses/Taurus placements and they all rly seem to love accessories, especially on their wrists or necks
Calm demeanour, may even seem slow
Can look tired/sleepy
___
Gemini
May have long limbs
Small faces and features
May wear glasses
Talkative
Usually straightforward in communication, may not even have a filter
___
Cancer
Seem to be small ppl - height, weight, presence...most are often very quiet and even a little shy. Often soft spoken
Cancer rising women may have bigger chests and/or thighs
Round faces, cheekbones
Watery and soft eyes. Idk how to explain it, they just look watery, like they're gonna cry. May look sad naturally (although I've observed this in all 3 water risings...)
They just look soft and gentle overall
Can have a caring, motherly/parental energy to them
___
Leo
Always noticeable tbh even if they're not stylish. E.g I had a Leo rising classmate in high school who was not fashionable in any way, but he was also the only student in our class who wore leather gloves everyday. He also always styled his hair. I have a female leo rising acquaintance who always dressed up every day to class. She never looked plain. Her hair was always styled and to this day it is still fluffy and curly
But a lot of them do like fashion tho and take pride in their style
Usually have fluffy/styled hair
Broad back and shoulders, always stand tall and upright
Can look like cats sometimes
Cheekbones
Tbh surprisingly quiet ppl, only their presence is loud. But can be social if you approach them
___
Virgo
Virgo rising men tend to be really tall, while Virgo rising women are often shorter
Wider faces and forehead
Square shaped jaw; often have nice strong jawlines in general
I've also seen so many wear glasses. I'm starting to wonder if it's a Mercury thing...
Can be talkative
Have a very down to earth energy
___
Libra
Most are conventionally attractive physically, seem nice and likeable at 1st glance. Even if they're not, they know how to talk and act to make ppl like them either way. Libra placements want to be liked and so always try to make a good 1st impression. So yes they're careful about their image
Balanced proportions. Long legs especially, no matter their height
Dimples
A lot tend to wear neutral colors; often know how to dress and appear neat
___
Scorpio
Long faces, big noses
Often have a sharp, intense gaze
May have hooded eyes, arched brows
A lot love to wear black
May have an intense, intimidating energy
Are pretty quiet ppl
___
Sagittarius
Often big in some way - height, weight, presence...you can definitely hear their laugh from a mile away
Thick thighs and/or butts. Sag rising women especially may have curves
Not that stylish I've noticed...they just wear whatever is comfortable
Very friendly and approachable. They can talk to anyone and befriend them. People may always want to talk to them too
Very energetic and expressive
___
Capricorn
Often smaller ppl. Body build leans more onto the stocky, thick side and most are short
Noticeable teeth; prominent bone structure in general
Care about the way they dress; always want to look presentable
May seem serious at first glance. Tbh I think they are a bit more intimidating to me compared to a Scorpio rising
Hardworking ppl, always busy with something
___
Aquarius
Round eyes, always seem to have a spark in them
Can dress in experimental fashion. Like their sister sign Leo, they want to stand out too. Although Leos may appear more cool and trendy, while Aquarius dress a bit quirky
May be thick in certain body parts
Very straightforward ppl; they don't seem scared to speak their mind...although Aquarius placements in general just tend to be blunt
___
Pisces
So many look lost tbh often have the "deer in headlights" expression naturally
Pretty in a whimisical kind of way...Although just may be a Pisces thing in general
Have the watery eyes look as well; round and big eyes
The Pisces rising I've come across often have small waists
___
Masterlist

So Magnus Protocol mentioned astronomy enough times that I had to look into it.
In tmagp 27 the Magnus Institute is looking for:
Which, as Celia pointed out, is a weird request. Constellations change throughout the year, so maybe they were searching for something different.
The Institute purchased The Hilltop Centre in 1997. What moved from the northwest to the northeast over the Central Europe night sky during that time?
The Hale-Bopp Comet. The most viewed and recorded comet of the 20th century.
So I went back to tmagp 21, where astrology was mentioned again. Kennings' writes:
We are under the impression that the Institute wanted to use the change of the century for its grand experiments, but was stopped when it burned down in December 1999.
But what if they changed their mind? I know, Kennings' wrote it's basically a lost battle, but why use the change of the century, when a total solar eclipse was seen over Central Europe in August 1999?
If the Institute did go back to its roots and focused more on Astrology... than the Protocol might've burned it down too late. The experiment had already happened.
#I'M JUST SAYING#tmagp#tmagp spoilers#tmagp theory#this has been on my mind for the past WEEKS#it might be nothing but you can't mention astrology and not expect me to get out the red string

Planets in the 4th house
The 4 house is the 2nd angular house ( angular houses are 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th) This house it’s ruled by cancer and the Moon, it represent home, family, ancestors and it’s quite a sensitive house since here we can also see the childhood and the upbringing of a person. Planets here especially if they conjunct the IC play an important role in how your physical home was but also if you felt emotional safe or not. If you do not have any planets in this house, check your house ruler ex (Pisces 4th house, check where is Neptune and if afflicted) also in case you do have planets check if they make harsh aspects with other planets as this will play an important role as well. In the following post I’ll explain how each planet+ Chiron (I do have a different post on this but I like to add more details) affects the quality of this house.
The Sun: with this placement usually, you’ll remember fondly about your childhood years. You may take a lot of pride in your heritage and your ancestors. Your sense of self-worth and confidence will be highly tight with how good you can take care of the ones you love. You may be very private as a person and you won’t like to share with the world your accomplishments, you may prefer instead to share them with the ones that are close to you. You may be perceived as a maternal figure in your friend group. With this placement you home may be very nice decorated and you can also be really good at investing in real estates or agriculture.
The Moon: as a person you may need a lot of solitude and a lot of emotional stability. Usually it’s a good indicator of someone that has a very close relationship with their families, if the Moon it’s in positive aspects, if afflicted can indicate that emotions are usually suppressed and kept private. This placement can indicate that growing up you were close with your mother or that the relationship with her affected how your emotions work (again here depends on the sign that the moon it’s in). You may need a very comfortable home and may be interested in research about your family lineage. You can also enjoy having a lot of plants in your house or have a specific décor.
Mercury: with this placement most likely you are someone that like to change homes often or change furniture quite often in your house, it can also mean that you enjoy having people coming over to your place. In your childhood place probably, you had a lot of books or you were very invested in reading and you needed a lot of mental stimulation from an young age. One of your parents may have been a bit detached or not offering you as much emotional support as you needed. You may enjoy in your house to have a lot of books or you could enjoy having a library. Sometime this can indicate that you would love to write stories about your family history, depending on the aspect it can be more historical of fictional.
Venus: as a child at least one of your parents was gentle, caring and patient. You may have the tendency with this placement to incorporate a parent attitude with your partner. You may be very welcoming and make others feel very comfortable in your presence. Your house may be very well decorated and you may like to invest in furniture. You may like to organize a lot of family events at your home as well. Venus here can indicate also a rich or luxurious home growing up or the possibility that you’ll make it that way when you are older. You may have a great aesthetic taste when it comes to your house.
Mars: with this placement I’ll say that on a positive note it can represent the fact that you have a very protective attitude towards your home and family, usually being the leader in your house. This placement usually it’s a difficult one, since a lot of aggressivity and emotional outburst happen behind close doors. Usually at least one of the parents can be very impatient, stubborn, aggressive and dominant, it can also represent the fact the you don’t like the place where you grow up and you moved as faraway as possible. A predisposition in choosing partner similar with the more dominant parent it’s possible with this placement or you as the chart holder can become more dominant. This can also indicate violence in some case in the family.
Jupiter: this placement it’s a good indicator in homes where there are more siblings or there is a big family. Often time the childhood is happy and optimistic. You will wish for your home and family that you create over time to be either with a lot of pets either with a lot of kids. Most of the times people can always find shelter at your house, even if they are friends or people in need for a place. You may be drawn to a more boho life style, a nomad life or a house in a foreign land. There is a possibility with this placement that you’ll inherit property or land.
Saturn: your childhood home may have been very restricted or your emotional and financially needs couldn’t have been met. One of the parents could have been colder and more distant also. The relationship with your mother can be a karmic one. Often time Saturn here can mean that in older age you can be prone to poverty. It’s quite difficult to work with this placement since Saturn here requires a lot of self-discipline and healing. If in positive aspects it could be easier to resolve past trauma and childhood wounds. Saturn here can indicate in some cases that the father is absent or distant from your life or the fact that you had to much responsibilities growing up and you had to mature faster than others.
Uranus: this is as well a difficult placement to have, it usually means absent parent due to work, divorce or death even. You may have felt detached from your family or like the “black sheep” of the family. Your upbringing could have been non traditional and often times you may have very interesting childhood stories. You may want to move a lot of you were forced in the childhood to move a lot. You house usually it’s quite unique and different, often times you may choose to leave with friends since you may feel more comfortable and “at home” with them than you own family. You may also want to break free from the family conditions and go against everything you learned.
Neptune: with this placement it’s safe to say that you would want to be a gentle parent to your children or you are very good at decorating your own place, you may also be prone to have this ideal fantasy about family as well. With Neptune here could indicate that a parent was either missing, addicted to substances or a parent that was loving but didn’t had boundaries with you. You may be prone to have false memories of your childhood and you may not be able sometimes to see your parents as the way they are. If Neptune has hard aspects can indicate that you are someone prone to escapism and addictions. You may have been exposed to a lot of gaslighting when young and struggle to set proper boundaries with the people around you.
Pluto: this placement can have different meanings and depends a lot about the aspects that the planet does with the whole chart. In some cases this aspect can mean that you can have perceived one parent to be controlling and manipulative in more extreme cases this can indicate that one of the parents has narcissistic tendencies. In some cases, it’s an indicator for abuse and violence while growing up or a parent that was heavily depressed. You may have a lot of emotional trauma and usually this placement also mean that you had to self-reliant from an early age. You may have and issue with the sense of belonging somewhere or accepting yourself. You may need to go though intense transformations until you learn to find security within yourself and develop emotional maturity.
Chiron: with this placement, most often than not the upbringing was difficult and traumatic. Most of the times abuse physical, emotional or sexual was present in the childhood and sometimes you have a hard time processing. Because of divorce or separation, you will usually get attached to one of the parents, where this parent is highly influence in your life. With this placement self-nurturing and balance it’s important. You may have an intuitive ability to pick up on other people emotional wounds.

Astro Observations by Claude 👾💓🚀
Please do not steal without credit. This is the work of TarotLadyTalks LLC.
Hey! This is just my personal views based on what I studied and the people I interacted with, and any common themes therefore.
- Sagittarius placements may be slow to commitment because they have seen others commit to something (marriage, having children, etc) and saw how these same people may have been struggling and were in over their heads. We also have to remember that Sag risings have Saturnian 2H (values, tangibility) and 3H (rationale) houses in Capricorn and Aquarius. If they do decide to settle, it’s after alot of careful consideration and thought. No need to do something you’re unsure of.
-Libras are so misunderstood because a lot of people expect them to be fierce like their sister sign Aries. Yet, Libras show their teeth when something is undeniably messed up. If you got a Libra (reasonably) mad at you, check your perspectives.
-I’ve seen a few Gemini placements and Leo placements who look decades younger than they are. When I asked what routine they had, a similar answer was to just not take life so seriously and find ways to have fun and let the stress go. And they do! These placements do not let age define them!
-Pisces placements do have some of the highest emotional intelligence I have seen in the zodiac when they go through the proper emotional healing. Speaking of healing, try to visit the ocean more often if you can Pisces. You are represented by the ocean after all.
-Please do not ask a Plutonian person to be the bigger person. That only fuels them more to not be the bigger person 😂😂😂😂.
-Kinda an observation but also a question. I wonder if Moon-Pluto aspects have noticed or discovered they have a mom or other ancestors who have been occult practitioners? I have a Moon-Pluto conjunction and I discovered my mom read tarot!! 🤯
-Saturn in the 5th house may struggle with just having fun. Like, a fun day doesn’t have to be planned to the tee. Just let the day take you. Same for Mercury in the 5th (if you’re on the Virgo side).
-Aries/Mars/Capricorn/Saturn in the 4th house life may get better once you leave home. If you can’t right now definitely take your time. Spirit has your back 💓.
-If you ever met someone and you can’t stop thinking of them or you feel like they should be in your life for a reason, check to see if y’all have 8th house synastry or 8th house composite placements. Also check the rulers of the 8th. I wouldn’t say 12th house because I feel like 12th house synastry/composite may cause more of a “whatever 🤷🏾♀️” vibe. Or at least what I’ve seen/experienced.
-If you feel safe around someone and don’t know why, check the 4th house and moon placments in synastry/composite. 🌙
-If you feel like you don’t resonate with degree theory, check the 12th part of your placements! Me and a couple buddies did this and it was soooo accurate. If you want a blog post going into detail about it I’ll surely do it, but for now you may just want to google it. And here’s a nice beginners resource: https://sevenstarsastrology.com/twelfth-parts-introducingdodecatemory-signs/
See ya later!!!

What’s your favorite bit of lore? Or favorite holiday/festival in genshin they’re pretty neat
i'm absolutely biased towards lantern rite tbh
as for bit of lore, i'm not really sure. i feel like 'bit of lore' is really weird to define, bc ultimately most lore is all connected into bigger pictures. obviously i'm partial towards liyue lore in general, but as for a specific little bit...
probably still the possibility that zhongli is partial to archery.
#thank you <3 <3#i know his passive talent is for crafting spears but like#the only reason why that talent is for spears specifically is bc he is a polearm user. nowhere in the talent itself nor other related media#do we get a mention of zhongli being particularly good at crafting polearms over other weapon types#we know he made the pwjs and the jade cutter. he didn't make jadefall but he did wield it. he also made summit shaper#we can assume he made vortex vanquisher n the unforged but there's no real confirmation on either. we do know he didn't make memory of dust#assuming he did make those last two that's still an equal number of polearms and swords he made. more swords if you wanna count the unforge#ofc he could've made countless op polearms off-camera. but we're never told that#dainsleif's factoid abt the talent is more about zhongli knowing his rocks than zhongli being a good polearm maker in specific#and the skill's name in chinese is more about astrology and divination than anything else. again more on zhongli knows his rocks#so like- we don't know that he had a mastery over crafting polearms in specific#and we know he wielded catalysts and polearms and likely swords as well#and still#the only real imagery on his design on what weapon he uses#is a fucking archery ring. nowhere is it mentioned that zhongli uses bows (that we know of)#yet he wears that thing on the daily. like he still uses it. like he needs to literally keep it on hand. why#why would he do that if he apparently does not historically use bows.#only thing i can think of is that he still practices archery. over any other weapon type. which is a hilarious thought tbh#but more crack theory than anything

Happy Escapril! I hope everyone’s having a good day so far. I’m dropping my first poem with @adventurerswritingguild second prompt from their list! Day two is “The Internet.” I really channeled this song for inspiration. It won’t read the same, the message is ultimately what I’m going for here.
Song Playing:
Here’s my poem with Alt Text provided. I hope you enjoy.
Oh snap! I maxed out tumblr tags for the first time! That’s a new record. 30 max. Huh. Good to know.
Update with Spoken Word
[#escapril Spoken Word] “A 25 year old Codger’s Cloud Rant” by CJOAT for AWG Shoutout @boburnham
youtube
It is April 10. I have another update. It took awhile. I have been getting worsening nightmares as of recent. So I haven’t been sleeping well. Rather at all.
That talk is not for this post.
I made a graphic for “A 25 Year Old Codger’s Cloud Rant.” I made it cyber themed based on the internet. It was hard to make due to the effect on my eyes but…this is an eyestrain warning. Be warned, as I cannot add the eyestrain tag when there’s 30 already.
I hope everyone has a good day, whenever you see this. You can do this. I’m proud of you.

What do you think Apollos astrology sign was? I’m asking cause we know he is into that like the freak he is
I know the fandom has apparently deduced that he was born late in the year, with the only specific day headcanon I'm aware of being New Years' Day, so... Capricorn? Though we don't know if he even knows when his real birthday is,
Vibes-wise, I'm admittedly not sure. I'm not one to think about astrology too much... Leo, maybe, but that's just because I know the most about that one (it's what I am) & astrology things are general enough that you can assign them to anyone. Maybe Aries?
#ask brodoroki#ace attorney#apollo justice#the context to him mentioning astrology is so funny#i forgot about it before i replayed ajaa

saturn in bungou stray dogs
saturn is a malefic (strict and uncomfortable), masculine planet, ruling capricorn and aquarius. being the last visible planet, saturn is all about boundaries, limits, and containment. in a personal chart it signifies areas where the native might be restricted.
in a very literal, extreme sense of it, saturn is handcuffs, chains, shackles, and this exact imagery is very present in bsd. atsushi is being literally nailed down and locked. it's also his tiger that's being restricted and locked down; and then, atsushi being out of the orphanage, there is a discernable boundary between him and byakko that he is yet to overstep.
dazai is also repeatedly shown restricted—handcuffed, attached to a wall, immobilized, imprisoned. he seems to be thriving in containment, he uses it, expects it, provokes it. he's playful with saturn all throughout the narrative, and it's reflected in the way he views life. what is the ultimate restriction if not death? death contains the freedom of being, and dazai seeks it, just like at times he seeks literal containment in order to realize his plans.
there is also a connection between saturn and being deceitful and manipulative, it's a communicative restriction that is also used by bsd characters a lot, either in order to survive or to reap a benefit.
saturn is the only planet with rings, and restrictive things are often circular. think handcuffs. or wedding rings. it makes me think of dazai's bandages—a literal barrier between his skin and the world, entwining him, like second skin. skin, functionally, is saturnian, because it contains our organs, muscles, and bones. if there is a boundary, there is a reason for it.
saturnian limitations can also be associated with poverty, hunger, and being orphaned. the influence of this type of limitation can vary in a personal chart. a well-behaved saturn makes a person aware of their fate—they recognize how unlucky they've been and they try to make best with what they've been dealt. a less functional saturn can make its native stingy, cynical, and envious. in both cases, people afflicted by saturn are extremely aware of reality. they have never worn rose-colored glasses, they will never be able to.
in a way, one of saturnian themes is doing your best in a chaotic world, therefore, in less extreme cases, saturn is about things that contain chaos, like moral, ethical, and legal restrictions. in bsd, morality is one of the essential themes, and it's contained in legal structures that disagree, clash with each other, but need each other nonetheless.
moral duty is saturnian, and kunikida's philosophy is one of the examples of this theme in bsd. his ideals let him restrain the harrowing chaos of life, and he feels obligated to act on them, otherwise he would be too aware of the world crashing and burning around him. in a way, he's similar to dazai in how they both embrace the saturn of it all, but dazai is more nihilistic about it, while kunikida is deliberately saturning his way through life.
it's interesting and meaningful that kunikida used to be a teacher, because teaching, mastery, and apprenticeship are huge for saturn. it's about tradition and continuity. the dynamic between a mentor and a mentee is omnipresent in bsd. saturn is often associated with father figures and authority figures, and the discipline imposed by them is not always pleasant. the moon is caring, it facilitates growth by giving, but saturn refines you by imposing rules and limitations. when dazai disciplines akutagawa, he's a saturnian figure. saturn doesn't care if you like him, saturn cares if you respect him. when there's a boundary needed, dazai quickly becomes restrictive about atsushi's emotions too.
it's compelling that bsd takes place in a seaport city. water is a natural border, and in greco-roman tradition it was believed that saturn also rules water bodies, ports, and trade. it's also interesting that we first see dazai after his attempt to drown, because drowning is very saturnian—they say that mars is dying in a fire, saturn is dying by drowning. of illnesses, it's said that saturn is responsible for those that arise from coldness and moisture.
another little thing about saturn: some astrologers believe it patronizes clowns. it sounds silly, but it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. as saturn deals with social restrictions and common sense, it patronizes everything and everyone that dances on the border of socially acceptable—the marginalized, the mad; holy fools and clowns. a clown is something between a birthday party and terror. clowns are funny because they rebel against common sense; clowns are terrifying because they rebel against common sense. of course, the first connection i make is gogol, and his aquarian perception of reality. sometimes your common sense aligns with the acceptable social paradigm, then you're lucky. and sometimes it doesn't align at all, then you're revolutionary or an outcast or both.
this reminds me of irl!dazai's quote that also reflects a lot about bsd!dazai: "as long as i can make them laugh, it doesn't matter how, i'll be alright. if i succeed in that, the human beings probably won't mind it too much if i remain outside their lives."
the ultimate lesson of the planet of saturn is about fate. destiny is jupitarian, it's the direction you're growing in. fate is saturnian, it's the cards you've been dealt, it's a car that can't be uncrashed. saturn teaches you about the limits of the world around you and of your own psyche, and then it poses a question: if it's hard and painful and unlikely to result in anything, will you do it anyway? if you can't do it the easy way, will you try at all?
#bungou stray dogs#bsd#astrology#honorable mentions include beast!akutagawa because saturn is agriculture and “reaping what you sow” both literally and figuratively
