Hello!! I'm actually still not done, I don't even think I'm halfway yet lol but I'll get there! I'm lowkey scared of what's gonna happen though lol I'll make it

I feel like so far I'm feeling similarly to the other books, there are parts that I love and there are parts where I want to jump into the book and try to shake some sense into the characters. Or curse then out. Either one. Maybe both.

Giving you my honest opinion… I and nor does Lore ( @thrxughthenxght ) listen to Olivia Rodrigo. We’ve never associated her music with anything TSC related as well, sorry🙈

So today I‘m not only celebrating reaching 600 followers (it‘s crazy that 600 people seem to enjoy the random sh!t I post) but also I‘m celebrating the year that is about to end!

So let‘s have a little rewind, shall we?

I started my blog back in May, when I thought it would be super cool to post my thoughts, theories and aesthetics on this platform and share them with the world. And what can I say? It truly changed a lot for me. You guys truly changed a lot for me.

Not only the fact that I got to be creative but also all the amazing people I got to meet. People all over the globe with different lives and different interests. But they’re connected by one thing: Their love for books, their stories and their characters. And those people exchanging theories, hyping each other up and being so passionate about something was the most beautiful thing I‘ve ever experienced in my life and I‘m so thankful for every single one of you!

Thank you for helping me through this crazy year! You truly made it a better one! <33 And I‘m so excited for everything that is about to come and for every snippet and fan art we‘re going to freak out about! So let‘s raise a toast to the old year and let‘s welcome the new one!

so i haven’t been on here a lot these last few months, but i just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who broke their back to make me laugh, even on those days when i could barely break a smile (this line from labyrinth will never leave my mind) with a funny cat meme in my ask box (that is honestly what got me through these last months) or weird posts that only tumblr can understand and create, or a virtual cup of biscoff latte, a letter in my ask box i could come home to, or an angsty fanfic about an already angsty ship. this year has been a lot, both good and bad, full of changes (which i can now appreciate thanks to a certain person) and full of discoveries. so i just want to thank everyone who got me through these twelve months <3 once again, this hellsite has been my safe place. happy new year loves <3

uhhhh okay, i have something, not really a headcanon, but more like a little scene i had in my mind hehe

@astriefer i feel i need to tag you because... remember when we were talking about alastair singing inappropriate songs and i had this very sappy scenario in mind? well....

imagine tom and alastair in their little cozy apartment cuddling in the couch and being annoyingly in love as usual. alastair is completely lying on the other boy, basically turning into thomas's personalized blanket, while thomas is peacefully running his fingers over alastair's hair. they're both starting to doze off when thomas asks: “hey love, why don't you sing something for me? you're just so good when you sing.” alastair looks up at him half-asleep, and after a brief moment of contemplation in which thomas stares at him with the softest smile, he simply answers “as you wish.” then he starts singing. and oh the way he sings... he's angelic. there's no other way to put it, just heavenly. so good that thomas doesn't even pay attention to the lyrics of the song, completely lost in alastair's smooth and deep voice. this at least in the first ten seconds, because like waking up from a long and sweet dream, he suddenly realizes what the other is saying. thomas abruptly turns to alastair, red cheeks and a barely held smile on his face. “what on earth are you singing?”

alastair, who was clearly holding on till that very moment, bursts out laughing. and of course thomas joins in immediately after, unable to refrain himself.

“by the angel, what was that!? where did you learn it??" he asks, soft giggles escaping from his mouth unintentionally. thomas's reaction seems to amuse alastair even more because the boy starts laughing harder, making pure joy bubbling up from thomas's chest. thomas just melts into alastair's embrace and can't help asking more about the song, eager to investigate the source of alastair's knowledge, but before he could come out with any more questions a hand covers his mouth. the other boy, who has finally regained his previous composure, goes immediately back to his performance, like nothing happened. as if he wasn't cry laughing ten seconds before. instead he continues singing the most scandalous song he could have thought of, putting even more effort in it.

poor thomas is too far gone, undecided if he should continue laughing or look in awe. the hilarity of the situation is somehow muffled by alastair's incredible talent and the fact that his body is still very pressed on thomas. and that he is still the most beautiful man in the world. the most beautiful man in the world singing inappropriate songs. to thomas. while lying on him.

thomas feels his cheeks burning and can't stop smiling like a fool at that version of alastair carstairs he would have never dreamt to see in this life. alastair must have sensed thomas's adoration flowing through every inch of his body because he stops from time to time to give quick pecks on thomas's cheeks and nose before finishing the song in all his glory.

after a short moment of silence they both burst out laughing again.

“so, was it to your liking?” alastair asks, a huge grin on his face. “because if that's the case i can't deny knowing more songs of this sort you might enjoy-”

thomas abruptly kisses alastair's smile putting all the love he could in that simple gesture and then laughs, booping alastair's nose with his. “i love you so much silly.”
