something, something.. simon starting off with paying for your nails, sending you off every couple weeks with way too many bills in your pocket and a promise to treat yourself. then he starts getting involved in what kind of color and design you get, getting way to invested in the seasonal themes and aaaall the possibilities. till one day you manage to drag him with you. he looks so out of place in your usual nail shop, your sweet nail designer kind of scared of him, till you tell her to just not pay him any mind. it takes you at least 3 more times of him joining till you manage to bully him into sitting in the chair as well. next time when he's back on base everyone tries to give him shit for the little pink heart on his ring finger. but he couldn't care less, all he had to think about was his girl at home, happier than ever and with a matching heart on her nails.

The colors of the aurora are caused by the atoms in Earth's atmosphere getting excited by the sun's charged particles slamming into them. Green tends to be the most common, showing excited oxygen particles 60-150 miles in altitude. It's also the easiest for our human eyes to detect. Red occurs higher up, above 150 miles, and because there's less oxygen, it takes a stronger stream to show up. Purple is also uncommon, and comes from excited nitrogen atoms below 60 miles. The fact that this display was so colorful was due to its immense strength from the five(!) coronal mass ejections that were belched out in our direction on Friday. The sun might yet serve up some more action as it's still in the peak of its 11-year cycle.

Something I think about sometimes is that I can't be fully honest when someone asks me what my favorite book is, because its an AU fanfic about characters from the dream smp in the setting of an interstellar world and society ruled by a very powerful dictatorial nationalist empire which exploits the native species of different planets for their own gain written in 86'083 words devided between 3 chapters, and that's apparently not the answer people are looking for :(

Bold of you to assume I haven't already considered ideas for my version of season 7 that are inspired by FNAF!😉

And Bendy and The Ink Machine... And Poppy Playtime... And Indigo Park... And every other indie horror game I've ever been obsessed with...

I would have LOVED for there to have been a case set in an abandoned amusement park or pizza place (or another mascot-themed establishment). I am OBSESSED with mascot horror games like these, and I wish CC had done a case inspired by this genre!

Which means I'll have to take matters into my own hands!😉

But I am hearing you loud and clear on this idea! It would be interesting to see the hunters trying to solve a murder in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (or CC equivalent) while dealing with the possessed animatronics trying to kill them! And in the AI, they could find a way to free the souls from their prisons!

It would be so cool to see an artist or writer's take on this idea! Or another indie horror mascot game! Honestly, crossover ideas for CC are endless!

Hiii :3 rewatching some Scarland videos. Gave me an Ad Astra question..

You said Impulse was still taking care of Scarland in Scar's absence, so for absolutely Noooo reason at all... Do Scar's morning/nighttime announcements still work? How do the Hermits and Lifers and all feel about it? :P If this isn't too weird a question to ask thank you for your work you're amazing :3

OH THAT HURTS I hadn’t even thought about that. I imagine that by the time everyone got back from the game (except scar lol), the morning/evening announcements had stopped working — but Impulse fixes it at some point. He wants everything to be perfect for when Scar gets back. He’s heartbreakingly careful with the discs that have the recordings on them, and has a nice healthy cry when he hears Scar’s voice on the speakers again. Jellie wanders around looking for him for a while before she understands it’s not really him.

I’d say quite a few of the hermits/lifers visit at least once, even if they just stand on the outskirts and listen. Some of them hate it, it’s like hearing a ghost, but some of them find a painful sort of comfort in it. They used to complain, before, about how loud and how often the recording played. Now they’re afraid it’s all they’ll have left.

This is post-Hidden World Toothless, meaning he and Hiccup have already been separated for some time and he can fly on his own thanks to the mechanical tail. Toothless, in an effort to escape some sort of threat while flying, attempts to camouflage and the buildup of energy timed with a plasma blast ends up punching another hole through space-time similar to Ford's portal. He flies through, crashes in the woods of Gravity Falls, and ends up getting stumbled upon by two very excitable kids...

I want to use third movie-Toothless specifically so he can have some fatherly instincts on top of his already protective nature, so he becomes attached to the twins very quickly and tries his best to keep them safe. Ford and Dipper eventually figure out that Toothless doesn't belong in their dimension and help him get back home, but in the meantime... shenanigans ensue <3

Imagine, you moving into an apartment right across from Simon. Right? He introduces himself. You make him cookies, and just overall become friends.

After a few months, you two become close. And you bake him sweets whenever you can for his deployments. And he brings them with him. To show off your amazing baking skills.

And then he buys you a dress. Tells you to try in on. And you do. You come out and he's just like "You're beautiful. Like a Goddess..." and you're just flustered. And after a while of you making conversation, he kisses you

aaaaaaah Simon munching down on your baked goodies and all the boys being jealous of him the first time they get to try some too 🥹

… no because the first time Simon brings along your baked sweets the boys just give him a weird look; trying to figure out for the life of them how he acquired those and if he murdered a sweet old lady to steel her sweets. the next time he brings them along the questioning starts. 

“she’s JUST my neighbor… and her baking’s pretty tasty” his excuses become worse and worse each time, especially how he tries to talk himself out of sharing any of your sweet gifts with them, they’re meant for him after all, but eventually he caves and from then on out the guys bug him about meeting the woman with the magic hands. 

till one day they actually do get to meet the baker behind the goodies, the reason for Simon’s gentle mood and hidden smiles. you’re so smitten with him, it’s hard to miss. Soap gives Simon a loopy grin, telling you to keep baking because he got way nicer since he eats more treats. Gaz seconds that and holds up two thumbs up behind your back for Simon to see. Price pats Simon on the back, “looking forward to her sticking around, she’s good for you” 

that evening Simon asks you to stay over, this time it’s his turn to treat you. he goes all out, cooking you a delicious meal, and seeing him there in the kitchen, your heart warms up so much, what a sight to behold, that giant man with a heart of gold, that you were allowed to call all yours now. 

such a sweet idea, feeding simon is such a deep rooted need i can't uuuugh 💖 and plssssss him calling you a goddess???????????? i'm deceased 🫠
