A/N: This counts as a headcanon, right? It should.. If not, please let me know! 😅

Astolfo sleeps holding onto you like his life depends on it. His head rested on your chest while his arms are wrapped so tightly around you that you fear he may break a bone. It's a suffocating, selfish embrace that purely benefits him and his needs and he won't let up no matter how much you complain.

Noé sleeps like me a wild little kid. You may fall asleep with him in your arms or vice versa but it's only a matter a time before he wakes you up by accidentally kicking you in the face or causing a ruckus by tumbling off the bed.

Muichiro sleeps curled up to your body. His arms are draped around your waist, his head is rested on your chest or shoulder, and his legs are tangled with yours. More times than not, you get woken up by his hair tickling your face.

Zenitsu sleeps clinging to you as if you're his life source or something. His legs and arms trap you and prevent you from escaping and his grip is surprisingly difficult to break out of. He's also a heavy sleeper which makes it hard to wake him up. Good luck trying to go to the bathroom..

Nagi sleeps like the dead. Legs stiffly together and his arms crossed against his chest. Sometimes he'll snake an arm around your waist but most times you're just cuddled up to his side.

Kunigami sleeps embracing you in a protective manner. An arm is limply over the back of your neck while the other is resting on your back or hip. When he's awake, he tends to rub little circles into your back until you both eventually lull off to sleep.

Hello anon, thanks for the request (ASTOLFO IS THE COOLEST) and for waiting for so long. Sadly, this request is very vague so I am going to stick to the basics about Astolfo for this one. I can only write in detail if I am given a concept. Also for the NSFW, I will try to focus more on their personality so it won't be that explicit (?)

Lol this is my first time writing Astolfo as well, so I hope it's ok.

Astolfo General Headcanons (SFW AND NSFW)

Warning: Some implied 18+ content in the NSFW section (but not detailed). I am tagging it as 'LEMON FANFIC'.

Also the master parts are a gender neutral master, and Astolfo has (they/them) pronouns in these headcanons.

SFW

💓 Astolfo may not seem like the strongest or the most powerful servant to many, making them a very underutilized and underappreciated character. However, what they don't have in stats, they make up for in HEART.

💓 Astolfo has the sheer power of will to do anything they set their heart to, and if they like their master; you bet that they will go above and beyond, pushing past all limits! (to the moon)

💓 Though they seem very whimsical and illogical in their actions and movements, Astolfo is a very popular character amongst all in Chaldea. They're easy to talk to (though they may take the conversation in completely unprecedented directions), they do as they desire, and they express themselves completely sincerely. Though they may accidentally inflict some chaos at times, every day in Chaldea is an adventure thanks to them.

💓 You may catch Astolfo and Roland roaming naked around the halls of Chaldea sometimes. Please don't ask why.

💓 It can be fun as well to join the group of Paladins congregating amongst Chaldea for tea, or for any unexpected adventures as well! Though they make for an off-kilter bunch, they are good company to have.

💓 Astolfo loves hanging out with Chevalier D'Eon pretty often! They like to take many selfies with her, scrapbooking them into a little collection of photos to treasure their memories of Chaldea and all the people they've met.

💓 However, this does not mean they are to be underestimated either. Thanks to not possessing common sense, they have insight into things that others would usually overlook; and can be a great person to talk to because of that. There are times in which Astolfo can take on a much more serious hue than the impression that their outer self may give off. From such a lack of common sense could possibly be a fountain of wisdom... or maybe not? Who knows. Astolfo is an enigma, that's for sure.

💓 If the master has any struggles with their identity or with being themselves, Astolfo will support them WHOLEHEARTEDLY with their journey of self-discovery. Feel embarrassed about yourself? Astolfo won't mind. Struggling to affirm yourself? Astolfo gets it! They had times like that when they used to posses common sense as well. Once Astolfo is your ally, they will support you for as long as they possibly can.

💓 They may be a bit absent-minded or drift away sometimes, but they can be very sincere if the time calls for it as well.

💓 Flights upon Hippogriff by Astolfo's side can be an exhilarating and fun way to pass time, or trying on clothes together, or admiring nature, or doing something active, or more relaxed... Astolfo is not very picky with what they like to do; as long as it's fun.

🍋 Now, Astolfo is famous in their many legends for their powerful libido and incredibly vivacious spirit. In other words, they enjoy sex. And they are very good at it, too.

🍋 They are a very attentive lover, wishing to fulfil their lover's needs, touching upon the spots that their partner likes the best; and helping teach their partner on where they like to be touched, as well.

🍋 They will likely not be the sort to get flustered or surprised. This is a domain that Astolfo is extremely comfortable within, and you bet that they'll be able to make you feel comfy too. There's no shame when having sex with Astolfo, so feel free to let loose and liberate yourself alongside them!

I meant that ppl are mad at the bi erasure of Achilles so ‘ppl would riot if the character is straight’ was referring to that, which admittedly I worded wrong. Some ppl are disappointed that Fergus being ‘bi’ (I don’t know enough of him to know if this is true or not) had no males on his list only women and therefore ‘he’s straight’ so they’re upset on that. Also because he has some females that ‘is meant for the player’ has reawakened ppl crapping on him again for having ‘no tastes’ or some other argument.

But yes, ppl get mad at male characters who show interests at the female characters pandered to the player, and then they get treated like garbage by the fandom. So yes, a list would be fun but also just in fandom shipping spaces it’s just too exhausting to deal with. Some people will enjoy it and other ppl will use it as a weapon to gatekeep. Tumblr is on the side where it’s more chill—other spaces are not.

I've tried to participate in inktober for the first time this autumn. The concept was to draw only illustrations for my big chasseurs headcanon about chasseur's everyday life (I've written a series of fics about it).

My headcanon is Marco knits, Astolfo wears his cardigan in extra "Lost children". So on the first sketch Astolfo sleeps covered by the shawl Marco has knitted.

VnC 58: the case study of astolfo

After a whole year of suspense, the Case Study of Vanitas is back with a bang and so is this tumblr blog. Time isn’t real, so let’s pretend that this analysis came out when I wrote it after reading chapter 58 rather than the day before chapter 59. Let’s go!

As always, although it’s been a while, this post will contain massive spoilers for VnC 58 and is intended for those who have read up to this point in the manga!

Chapter 58 begins with (an absolutely stunning shot of Vanitas’s tarte tatin) a quick recap of the plot so far and where the main cast is at the moment— Domi and Jeanne tragically finish their conversation offscreen; Domi and Noé have an adorable reunion; and Jeanne leaves the hotel alone, likely to report on her successful mission to a worried Luca. Jeanne looks adorably carefree as she heads out and I pray for a flashback to her conversation with Domi in the near future.

Moving rapidly along, we cut to the Archiviste Noé caught a glimpse of last chapter, traveling through the border between worlds. We learn that she’s familiar with Comte and likely Luna as well, and she and Comte sit down to have a very Pandora Hearts flavored tea break. Comte says that mystery Archiviste hasn’t travelled to the human world in ages, making it very unlikely that she was there explicitly to see Noé, although it’s possible she was (like Comte) waiting in the shadows to intervene if the fair fight reached a certain point.

Mystarchiviste in turn reveals that Comte’s existence is “unstable”. The only context we really have for that term is Vani and Misha, artificial followers of the blue moon lying somewhere between human and vampire… Comte certainly acts like a vampire, but maybe he’s actually something much more in between? My half-theory half-headcanon is that his obsession with Luna stems partially from feeling commonality with another being who doesn’t understand their own existence…

Speaking of Luna, Comte taking their form has interesting lore implications (can he take the form of anyone he’s met, or is there another requirement that has to be met first?) and also interesting fanfic implications but let’s move rapidly onwards to the real meat of chapter 58.

the chasseurs are insane

A majority of VnC 58 takes place in an extended flashback, as Astolfo reflects on his past. This flashback confirms a lot of what past chapters have implied about Astolfo— he was consumed by self hatred and guilt following the vampire attack, to the point of attempting suicide. The whole flashback could easily read as yet another parallel to Vanitas, who, after finding himself as the sole survivor a second time in a row, turned to a path he knew would culminate in his own death.

We meet two fun new characters during this section of the chapter— a guy wearing an earring (I was half-wondering if this was a younger version of Olivier’s assistant, but their eyebrows and earrings are different, so he’s probably one of Gano’s homeboys) and Charles.

Earring guy is suspicious. He might have some sort of plot relevant past (cough cough, No. 7- [i am escorted off the stage]), he might be an average chasseur with a vampire related incident in his history, or he might just be your standard issue psychopath. My favorite Mochijun Flavored Detail this chapter is the panel where, under the guise of breaking up Mira and Gano’s brawl, he moves to block Olivier’s line of sight and path to Astolfo. It’s just so Mochijun and i missed her so much—-

Charles is neato, but he sort of has this vibe where he’s not meant to be the star of the panels he’s in. It’s like Astolfo isn’t fully looking at him. Even though Charles is trying to inspire faith in Astolfo here, the only light Astolfo sees is Roland. In his double-page introductory panel Charles is exclusively lit by light coming in through the door as Roland opens it. Roland, meanwhile, looks like a savior, the light behind him blinding, and Astolfo bursts into tears when he sees him. I’m so excited to watch their relationship collapse as this flashback continues..!

Through Charles’s conversation with Astolfo, we learn a very interesting piece of lore: when a vampire bites someone they aren’t injecting an aphrodisiac or poison with their fangs— they’re actively rewriting their world formula, and sometimes these effects are permanent. I feel like I should’ve been able to riddle this out, given the whole mark of the blue moon thing, but the fact that this happens so frequently throughout the series, and that Jeanne has rewritten Vanitas, is feckin shocking and feels like it has some very interesting implications for the series. Perhaps Archivistes are unique in that, rather than rewriting with their bite, they read what’s already there.

I honestly don’t have many other thoughts on Charles. He gets carried around and nobody’s allowed see him, possibly implying that he’s become sicker/ his existence has gotten more unstable ;) since he originally became a paladin. Maybe he’s the head honcho Roland and Olivier are working against, maybe he’s actually dead by the time we hit the main plotline. At this point, it feels like he could move in any direction.

interpretation, extrapolation, being wrong, that’s the mochijuncycle

Vampires rewrite the world formula when they bite others, often leading to devastating and permanent consequences for those they’ve bitten. Misha and Vanitas aren’t the only two unstable beings in existence— while we’ve never heard of VnC vampires turning humans with their bite, maybe once a human has been rewritten enough times they too become unstable. Maybe Comte, in constantly changing his name and shape, has been rewriting himself to the point of instability. Maybe Noé struggles to rewrite because, as an Archiviste, he was born to simply read and record.

But you probably shouldn’t trust me on any of this because, as always, this is 100% my biased initial interpretation of Chapter 58! I hope you’re all as hyped to see this flashback play out as I am, and I’ll see you (hopefully somewhat) soon for VnC 59!

A/N: Love Astolfo and I love when people request stuff for him! I hope this is to you're liking despite not being the most comforting! 😊

↪ In my opinion, Astolfo would find a clingy significant other very, very irritating.

↪ Maybe out in public, though, his irritation will waver depending on where his partner falls on the clingy scale. Like, if they're at a seven or higher and is always trying to follow him around, repeatedly stomps all over his boundaries, needs reassurance 24/7, I see him being infuriated and breaking up with them.

↪ Now, anything under a six is manageable. Maybe his partner tails after him but is always talked out/talk themselves out of going to the extremes. Maybe when he's hanging out with them they need him to compliment them or reassure them on something every now and again. See, that's a headache, but a headache he can deal with.

↪ I definitely see him taking it the wrong way. Like, if his partner tends to try and follow after him or distract him from his duties in order to spend time with him, I see him twisting it in his head and thinking they're trying to protect him which'll anger him because that means in his head that they think he's weak and needs protecting which he doesn''t need from anyone.

↪ If they're physically clingy, that'll also be a problem. He's not a touchy person..at all. He's begun to despiss it actually ever since..y'know. It's definitely a boundary for him and if his partner steps over that, they may get hurt. ( I definitely see him like instinctively swinging on them or something after being reminded of what happened in the past from a simple side hug or any sudden physical contact )

↪ He doesn't mind saying affirmations in private settings. Depending on how long he and his partner have been dating, he'll naturally have some walls down around them which'll allow him to feel more comfortable saying certain things. In public, he doesn't want anyone to view him as soft so his partner is out of luck there. He'll also grow very annoyed very quickly if his partner needs reassurance every five minutes. ( I definitely see him blowing up on them in that case )

↪ An overly-jealous type of clingy person will also get on his nerves. He's forced to socialize with many people in his line of work..and outside his line of work. He talks to males and females alike all the time and if his partner blows up over something like that or, even worse, accuses him of infidelity, he won't put up with it and'll ultimately leave.

↪ Basically, he'll put up with someone like that, but only to a certain extent.

[FATE OC X CANON/YUMESHIP] TrisQuia AU

One of my favourite AU's for TrisQuia (short for Tristan x Juquia) is the Punk AU. Mostly because it was at the beginning more of a „I would love to see Tristan dressed up more in my style!“

But it grew on me more for different reasons. My interpretation on Tristan is more Gottfried von Straßburg based, but we for sure can say that in all Versions Tristan is kind of unhinged and wild at one point, haha. But in Gottfried von Straßburg it felt more this natural rebellious teen phase. I thought when he was younger the rocking spirit came more through. He gives me the vibes of someone who was born into nobility but in the end just wants to make music and go hunting with his Dog, haha.

This paired with the fact how much comfort it gives me because it hits so close at home.

Also the fact that FGO gave me enough content to feed into my thought of „Punk-Rock Tristan would be a thing“. E.g; Enma-Tei when he plays more wildly the harp, while he is not happy with the song choice he surely gives it all or the Saber Astolfo Interlude where, after losing his „restraint“ he goes full head-bang mode - Bonus for the Ritsuka Fujimaru doesn’t get it Mangaka Tsuchida for once drawing Tristan in Fetish Wear in their FGO Doujinshi.

Of course this is all fun and games, nothing to taken too serious. Especially since I use it for my silly little Headcanon.

Also we can’t deny that Tristan looks very attractive in this style, haha!

As a whole I also like that in this AU Tristan can live more by his own choice and does what he wants without much holding back. He is still a softie who carries a lot of empathy for others and has his romantic and silly side - He just rocks hard!

Can you tell more about your Fate redesigns? Like your Penth, Hektor, Paris/Apollo, and Astolfo?

OKAY so first Imma talk about Paris/Apollo because Alexander-Paris is one of my most in-depth designs ATM and also explains some of Hektor's concepts!

Ignore that all I can in find my camera roll are SUPER old doodles of him lmao XD this ask really making me go through doodles from last year

So firstly is the color symbolism! I noticed in FGO that his design is very light-colored, and while that's interesting, I thought it would be more symbolic to have the main colors be dark as to point towards how he inherently can't escape his fate and actions as an adult, even in a child/teenage body, and also as a sort of symbol of how dark his future is. Adding on, Paris is VERY SPECIFICALLY summoned as having a child's body but the memories of his entire life, and I had the idea that the darker colors also show that he knows more than he lets on/he isn't innocent. The gold and such are to point towards him being a prince and technical demigod, and the blues are just in general for color diversity

With his horns and wings: Both Hektor and Paris in my AU are biologically Apollo's children (reference to some versions of the Troy Boys actually being his biological children instead of Priam's), so the horns and wings symbolize that (which Hektor doesn't have, more on that later). Apollo-Sheep's "humanoid" design concept actually has the wings and horns too (just bigger and more fancy lmao). Another Fun Fact: Both Hektor and Paris have some sun/fire related abilities in my AU, although it's slight

Next Paris and Hektor's eyes! Yep! I put thought into eye color! Paris' eyes are orange, while Hektor's are black. HOWEVER, when they use their NPs, Paris's eyes darken to black and Hektor's glow orange! Prominently, I honestly just thought Hektor having glowing eyes when using his NP would be Fun and Sexy XD However then i was like "...Okay but what if... Paris had opposite? What if... Symbolism?" And this idea is so cool to me because of how they can connect!!!! Hektor's glow because he's deemed to be Troy's hope, while Paris's darken because he's deemed as Troy's downfall!!! Sorry I just love how I can make the brothers contrast each other and how they can be interpreted AAAAA

I also made Paris's hair darker while Hektor's hair lighter so that they would look more similar to each other/look more like brothers, same with them both having wavy hair and the eyelash part on the bottom eye (it's kinda hard to see in the pictures RIP). I just wanted them to be a lil match-y. They also both have beauty marks that mirror each other! I imagine both of the Troy Boys to have thicker bodies

I gave Paris some armor parts as well as to look more similar to Hektor, while I also kept the cute dress parts because the cute stuff just seem to be more of his own style and I think That's Neat. The symbol on his skirt piece is Romeo's command spell symbol, matching with a headcanon I had posted some time ago about the command spells appearing somewhere in a Servant's design

Paris also has these sorta long-sleeve glove things due to me originally adding it to my Jekyll/Hyde redesign (which I need to remake) and Paris, in my AU, is one of Hyde's best friends, so I thought it would be cute for them to have a lil match-y thing XD

With the black wool, I thought it would be interesting to show physically of Paris being more of the "black sheep" of his family, especially considering he wasn't raised as a prince, he was raised as a sheep herder. And how he was sorta cast aside as a baby due to the prophecy of him becoming Troy's downfall

This is my current concepts for Hektor (the graphite sketches are a lot older than the digital btw, but good a good idea about his arm and shoes design), but it needs some work XD I want to add a lot more later on, but this is a good start I think

with Hektor, color-wise I tried to make his pallette somewhat a mix between opposite and similar to Paris. For him, the dark colors represent more of his death. He doesn't have the horns or wings anymore due to Achilles dragging his corpse, too. I think I posted some old sketches before of the back of his head having the broken bases on his horns. I would imagine his back having scarring and some skin disfigurement where his wings once were as well

With the red, specifically the red wool and the red gradient in his hair, I wanted it to represent the blood that was shed during the Trojan War. Plus, it also contrasts against Paris's blue colors, pushing more of that contrast between the two

With Both the Troy Boys' personalities, Paris still has that childish demeanor about everything, but he's definitely fully Aware and could manipulate if he really wanted to. However he doesn't really, unless if he wants to get away with childish things (like sneaking candy). He's a bit cheeky at times, and in general is A Lot like his canon FGO self. He likes being helpful when he can. Although something I added is that he Hates romance/romantic things. He thinks it's gross, but also his view point is due to the Trojan War and his whole thing with Helen.

Hektor is a mix of things that's hard to explain. He's similar to his canon FGO self. The thing is that FGO itself states that he has a facade going on, which pretty much is what For Funsies AU also does, so there isn't much for me to add XD Although I think in my AU, his facade is a bit different. Other than that, he's silly goofy as usual

i could have sworn I had pictures of her that are more recent/go more in-depth with her design ideas, but I can't find any TwT I'll talk more about her personally redesign since there isn't much physically I can exactly say

Next with Beserker/Penth, her concepts are still definitely a WIP. The general idea I have for her is this 16 year old being very elegant yet absolutely able to kick your ass with the slightest provoke. She's beefy, I would imagine (I really wish I had better sketches of her). I kinda want her to lean more towards having a "royalty" look yet also young and armored up. Iirc in Canon FGO she literally has herself be summoned at a younger age so Achilles can't flirt with her, so I decided to lean on her looking young. I also gave her more furs and armor coverage since she's a warrior and also the whole thing with her fighting in a bikini just. Doesn't sit right with me.

Personality-wise, I think she would try to act very mature and serious, but she's Not immune to Acting Her Age. Aka being a goofy teenager. She definitely tends to butt heads with Paris because he keeps stealing her hair comb. I definitely think she's super smart though, considering the business she has going on in Canon FGO. However, even smart teenagers can be silly (as a treat). She's definitely still has that Extreme personality trait, like tending to take things too far and being rather hot-headed. I like her dynamic with Mr. Utterson because he'll be like "Thank God you're here. Maybe you can talk some sense into Paris" and immediately Penth is trying to knock Paris out with her fist because it's faster and more efficient XD (also as revenge for stealing her comb). She's wonderful, although I'm still working on her dynamic with others and how she generally acts

In general, color-wise I'm thinking of making their outfit+armor VERY vibrant with Many colors to the point it's gaudy and dramatic. I kinda still want a cutesy look with them, but also messy and disorganized to show more of the sorta "frantic" and "can't sit still" vibe they have. It's hard to change anything about Astolfo because they're already a pretty interesting character with a solid design and personality.
