Canaan House fun. As in what would happen, if all the houses sat down to play Monopoly?

Second House: The ones who insist reading the rules mid-game. Judith quit, because she thinks the Third is cheating.

Third House: Corona picked the cutest piece, and pretends she's just having fun. Secretly she supports Ianthe, who already has 8 different plans at the ready. Babs doesn't play, just keeps scowling at Gideon.

Fourth House: Nooo Magnus, don't buy that hotel! Magnuuus, I don't need help.

Fifth House: Magnus just wants the kids to have fun, so he "loses" halfway. Abigail provides snacks and hot chocolate.

Sixth House: Palamedes is allied to Harrowhark, and they are working together to win (or at least he thinks so)

Sevent House: They are not present, for obvious reasons.

Eight House: Silas refused to play, as it is beneath him (nobody invited him), and in the past two hours he kept telling to Collum how easily he could've won.

Ninth House: Harrow is 100% sure Palamedes is her enemy, and must be destroyed. Gideon has no idea how to play, but she keeps getting angrier at the glances Ianthe keeps shooting at Harrow. Secretly the Fifth keeps giving them tips, which are, according to Harrow, are unnecessary. (She still utilizes the tips)

Ianthe wins. Gideon and Babs are having a fistfight. Camilla got into a fight with Judith, nobody knows why.

speaking tumblrwise only.. notreddit/twitter as im a tumblr person So I've been in the south park fandom, atla fandom, recently entered helluva boss/arcane fandom tags and can confirm a 100 percent the bojack fandom is the most peaceful fandom out of all of em. the other fandoms have to much ... hateful energy that seem to exist to suck fun away out of fandom spaces

mask is done!! rushed the paint job and may end up redoing it, can’t believe i won the costume contest at the work halloween party with this tho. pattern is by @paleopanthera , love this pattern and definitely want to make this again when im not pressed for time and know what im doing!! first time i've made a mask/done anything 3 dimensional like this so there was a slight learning curve

Soo, in The Locked Tomb it's been explained that guns are outdated, and nobody uses them anymore (except BoE). But what if we gave guns to the characters? (Spoilers ahead)

Second House: Both Judith and Martha has one military issued handgun. They don't use it, except when Judith starts saying she should take over, bc murders, emperor, etc. Then she howers her hand near the gun. (At the Teacher part, she emptied her gun)

Third House: I think Corona would have a cute gun, and everyone thinks she cannot use it. But she can, and she will. Ianthe has one concealed gun, for no reason, and Babs is banned from having guns.

Fourth House: SOMEONE TAKE THE GUN FROM JEANNEMARY!! SHE ALREADY SHOT SILAS AND BABS!

Fifth House: Abigail has one gun, just in case. Magnus has several, all taken from the Fourth kids. (Seriously, don't give Jeanne a gun)

Sixth House: The book ends 80% sooner if Camilla has a gun. The remaining 80% is Pal trying to take the gun from her. (He also cannot be trusted with guns, btw)

Seventh House: Normally Pro probably had a gun, what he never used, and never planned to. But he wrote 8 poems about it.

Eighth House: I think Collum should have a sawed off shotgun, bc it would be cool. That's it.

Ninth House: Gideon cannot be trusted to have a gun. That doesn't stops her from having a revolver, what Harrow used at THAT part. (You know which part)

Jod: Has one, old gun, what he never uses, but likes to talk about it while he has a tea party with Harrow.

Mercy and Augustine: They had guns, but Jod was forced to take it from them, because they just kept shooting each other in the leg during arguments.

G1deon&Pyrha: Bold of you to assume they don't have at least ten guns somewhere.

Cyntherea: The fight at the end of GtN would be different if Cythy had an assault rifle.

Alecto: Apocalypse Barbie. With a shotgun.

Nona: NONA PUT THAT DOWN!

you know this is cool i'm loving this but in a perfect adaptation a solid sixth of the story would just be big fishing and it would feel like it never fucking ended.

we're excited but also nervous since they're still in their puppy stages 😅

working at a summer camp makes me hate 90% of the adults in this world and brings back trauma I didn't remember having. like oh my god, they're horrible to these kids. like they forget they're little, they're babies.

I have a kid, she's in our state for the summer, she lives with her mom another state during the year. she's stressed, she's away from her person, she's at a camp where she doesn't know anyone, she's stressed out. she was labeled a problem child and a cry baby before I even got a chance to work with her (I'm not a special counselor or anything, I'm just good with kids, so I kinda get used like a miracle worker by everyone else, which is kinda annoying, but I don't complain cause the kids need me).

it's the 3rd day of the second week of the session, so she's been here over a week, everyday she's spent most of the day hysterical, getting yelled at, and being so anxious that she would go all day without eating. you would assume that the director and supervisor at the very elast would have done something about this????? right????? nope.

first day I worked with her, I came to the realization that they just kept yelling as this 7 year old, for being overwhelmed, never once gave her a single tool to help calm down, and actively made the problem worse.

you wanna know what I did that calmed her down and got her playing with the other kids and actually enjoying camp in less than five minutes? I was kind, I gave her a breathing exercise to do, I explained what she was feeling (she kept saying she didn't know why she was upset, why she was crying, etc. cause she was too young to understand what it felt like to be overwhelmed/overstimulated) and "magically" everything was fine. did this stop another counselor from reporting it to the director, no, for whatever my co-counselor said she was "misbehaving" and was "difficult" and than the director came in her and threatened her with consequences if she didn't "pull herself together" (reminder, this kid is 7, going through a custody issue with her parents, and has extreme anxiety that manifests physically in the form of nausea). this of course sent her from being conversational and calm back into hysterics (I have no other word for how bad this break downs are, they're like panic attacks on steroids).

said counselors were back out of the room and within five minutes, with those breathing exercises, she was calm again. in the span of a few hours, I got a kid who no one had heard speak outside of tears playing and laughing and telling stories about her mom and her home (things that would typically set her off). it's so rewarding watching her come out of her shell and love camp, but so heartbreaking she spent over a week miserable.

this isn't the only case of this here, it's been like this since the current supervisor and director got hired and I need them to quit, cause they're ruining this camp (that has been here for generations, literally) for all of us. so many of the staff want to quit, kids don't want to come, we get less and less junior counselors, and all of us are miserable.
