The Minotaur
These are only for romantic pairings, not platonic.
The ships in the polls are the twelve (12) most popular ships for each character based on the number of fics on AO3. However, The Minotaur isn't shipped with twelve different people and so there are only seven (7) options for his poll.
F.A.Q.
Ship List:
Percy/Minotaur (astercy)
Annabeth/Piper/Minotaur (annasteriper)
Hazel/Minotaur (hazerion)

Chromebook VPN setup
Setting up a VPN on your Chromebook can help enhance your online security and privacy while browsing the internet. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) creates a secure connection between your device and the internet, safeguarding your data from potential cyber threats.
To set up a VPN on your Chromebook, you can follow these simple steps:
Choose a reliable VPN service provider: There are many VPN services available, both free and paid. Ensure you select a reputable provider that offers strong encryption and a no-logs policy for maximum privacy.
Download and install the VPN app: Once you've chosen a VPN service, download the app from the Google Play Store or Chrome Web Store and follow the installation instructions.
Configure the VPN settings: Open the VPN app on your Chromebook and log in using your credentials. Select a server location you want to connect to – choosing a server closer to your physical location can help improve connection speeds.
Connect to the VPN: Click the connect button within the app to establish a secure connection. Once connected, your internet traffic will be encrypted, and your IP address will be masked, providing you with anonymity online.
Verify the connection: To ensure your VPN is working correctly, visit a website that displays your IP address and location. It should reflect the location of the VPN server you're connected to.
By following these steps, you can easily set up a VPN on your Chromebook and enjoy a more secure and private browsing experience. Remember to disconnect from the VPN when not in use to maximize your device's performance.
Astrill VPN installation guide
Setting up Astrill VPN is a straightforward process that allows users to protect their online activities and privacy. Whether you are using a computer, smartphone, or tablet, Astrill VPN offers secure and private internet browsing.
To begin the installation process, visit the Astrill VPN website and create an account. Once you have created an account, choose a subscription plan that suits your needs. Astrill VPN offers various plans with different features, so select the one that best fits your requirements.
After selecting a plan, download the Astrill VPN application on your device. The download process may vary depending on the operating system you are using (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, etc.), but the installation instructions are generally simple and easy to follow.
Once the application is downloaded and installed, launch the Astrill VPN client and log in using the credentials you created earlier. From there, you can choose a server location to connect to and activate the VPN connection. Astrill VPN offers a wide range of server locations across the globe, allowing you to access geo-restricted content and browse the internet anonymously.
With Astrill VPN installed on your device, you can enjoy secure and private internet browsing, safe from prying eyes and potential cyber threats. Remember to keep your Astrill VPN application updated to benefit from the latest security features and improvements.
Configuring VPN on Chromebook
Configuring a Virtual Private Network (VPN) on your Chromebook is a straightforward process that can help enhance your online privacy and security. A VPN creates a secure connection to another network over the internet, encrypting your data and hiding your IP address. This is particularly beneficial when using public Wi-Fi networks or accessing geo-restricted content.
To set up a VPN on your Chromebook, start by selecting the clock in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, click on the gear icon to access the settings menu. Under the "Network" section, click on "Add connection" and then select "Add OpenVPN / L2TP." Here, you will need to enter the connection details provided by your VPN service provider, including the server address, your username, and password.
Once you have entered the required information, click on "Connect" to establish the VPN connection. You can also customize the VPN settings further by clicking on the VPN configuration and adjusting options such as the VPN type, server address, and IPsec pre-shared key.
After successfully configuring the VPN on your Chromebook, you can easily enable or disable the connection through the network settings menu. Remember to disconnect from the VPN when not in use to preserve battery life and optimize your internet speed.
Overall, setting up a VPN on your Chromebook is a simple process that can significantly enhance your online security and privacy. By encrypting your data and masking your IP address, a VPN ensures a safer and more private browsing experience, whether you are at home or on the go.
Step-by-step Astrill VPN installation
If you're looking to enhance your online privacy and security, installing a VPN like Astrill can be a great step. Astrill VPN offers robust encryption and worldwide server options, allowing you to browse the internet anonymously and access geo-restricted content.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the installation process of Astrill VPN:
Sign Up: First, visit the Astrill website and create an account by providing your email address and choosing a subscription plan that suits your needs.
Download the App: After signing up, download the Astrill VPN app from the official website. The app is available for various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
Install the App: Once the download is complete, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Astrill VPN app on your device.
Launch the App: Open the Astrill VPN app and log in using the credentials you created during the signup process.
Select a Server: Choose a server location from the list of available options. You can select a server based on your preferences, such as speed or location.
Connect: Click on the connect button to establish a secure VPN connection. You will now be able to browse the internet privately and securely.
Customize Settings: Explore the app settings to customize your VPN experience further, such as enabling features like Kill Switch or Split Tunneling.
By following these simple steps, you can easily install Astrill VPN on your device and enjoy a safer and more secure online experience. Remember to keep your VPN app updated for the best performance and security features.
Chromebook VPN compatibility
Chromebooks have gained popularity for their simplicity, portability, and affordability. However, when it comes to using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) on a Chromebook, users often wonder about the compatibility and effectiveness of VPN services on this platform.
The good news is that Chromebooks are generally compatible with most VPN services available on the market today. VPN providers offer dedicated Chromebook apps or provide setup instructions for manual configuration. By using a VPN on your Chromebook, you can enhance your online privacy, secure your internet connection, and access geo-restricted content.
When choosing a VPN for your Chromebook, it is essential to consider factors such as security protocols, server locations, speed, and customer support. Look for VPN services that offer robust encryption methods like OpenVPN or WireGuard to ensure that your data remains secure while browsing the web.
Additionally, ensure that the VPN service has a wide range of server locations to help you access content from different regions and bypass censorship restrictions. Fast connection speeds are also crucial for seamless streaming and browsing on your Chromebook.
In conclusion, Chromebooks are compatible with most VPN services, providing users with an added layer of security and privacy while using their devices. By selecting a reliable VPN service and following the setup instructions, Chromebook users can enjoy a safer and more unrestricted online experience.

A Catch Up
Hello all! I have decided to do a ‘catch up’ post describing what has happened since my last post, as despite my intentions to fill in the gap with posts, time and energy is precluding me from doing so. Thus, while I may at some point go back and ‘plug the gaps’, for now I simply want to get up to date. So, since my last post:
1) Qau-Dar left the estate on the Isles to go and stay at an inn near the docks, growing frustrated with the length of time they were remaining on the Isles and wanting to leave sooner rather than later. Lillandril convinced Asteril, who knew the various inns and taverns of the docks from her own disappearances in the past, to go and find Qau-Dar to try and convince him to return. While he did not return the Lillandril’s family home, Qau-Dar also did not leave the Isles, remaining at the docks among other Khajiit.
2) While remaining at the docks, Qau-Dar noticed the ship they had travelled on to the Isles arriving into the harbour - despite the fact it was supposedly still undergoing repairs. When Fayrl next visited Qau-Dar, he told the Dunmer about seeing the ship; when Fayrl went to speak with the captain, it emerged that the ship had in fact been repaired very soon after arriving in the Isles. More importantly, it emerged that the captain had received word from a high ranking Artist that the ship could leave without its’ exotic passengers.
3) Confronted by Fayrl with regards the message to the ship, Lillandril (who had been under the impression that the repairs were more extensive than first thought, and that issues with pirates off the coast made travel more dangerous than normal) confronted his grandfather about the situation. Cyrillon, in his calm and somewhat resigned way, ultimately revealed that it had been Lillandril’s grandmother who had ordered the ship to leave, keen to take the opportunity to keep Lillandril on the Isles and back in the family.
4) An angry Lillandril confronted his grandmother about her manipulations. Despite her pleas that she had been looking out for the family and Lillandirl’s interests, and that Lillandril and his family would be welcomed back indefinitely if they remained, the further revelation that she had been in talks about a potential marriage for Lillandril (his marriage to Rialas being, after all, only a small indulgence that could be easily smoothed over) only made matters worse. Angry and hurt, Lillandril ordered the others to pack and stormed out of the family home, joining Qau-Dar at the inn at the dockside while they tried to book passage on the first ship out of the Isles.
5) Thanks to Fayrl taking over negotiations, the group swiftly found passage. Despite Tel’s arguing that the group sail to Morrowind rather than Skyrim, a combination of expedience and Lillandril’s stubbornness saw them deciding to head north towards the Nord homeland. Travelling first to Anvil, and then via various ports throughout Hammerfell, they eventually arrived back in Solitude. Along the way, the group took a chance to explore the various ports, with Gwemba in particular enjoying the chance to explore the culture of her parents.
6) Despite a snowstorm, and an attempt by a bandit gang to overrun the group, they arrived safely back in Whiterun after a few days of travel. Lillandril, Rialas, and the children returned quickly to the shop, finding it relatively neglected, the neighbour who Lirim had asked to mind the place having quickly lapsed in her duty. That said, despite the ust and general dank mustiness of the place, the combination of Lillandril’s reputation and the increased guard presence in the face of the state of war and the Daedric invasion kept any real damage from having occurred.

10 facts for Drecenil!
Thank you for sending!
Unlike my other OCs, he’s not so developed, so i used this ask meme to introduce the basics of his backstory (or what i have of it thus far) rather than just trivial facts; which is why I put his picture and all. Kinda like… the second part of my introduction post to him.
___
1.) He has a disarmingly deep voice. Like, deep; he almost sounds like an orc minus the guttural vocal tone. (He can do a mad orc impression, though, I’m sure.) This wouldn’t be so big of a fact if he didn’t look to be an absolute peak Altmer twink.
It was actually an accident, his deep voice; I forgot to choose a different one before finishing his character creation but now I’m keeping it.
___
2.) He’s not only a member of the Thieves Guild but is also an Eye of the Queen.
Hell of a resume.
Also, note, he’s not the protagonist of the Thieves Guild questline in ESO. That goes to my other character & his.. “friend”. (they hate each other 65% of the time but either way he’s kind of her partner on heists and all.) Deslandra. He’s not the AD hero either, obviously; but he is acquaintances with Kallalon. Kallalon finds him grating, though, and Drecenil finds Kallalon weird so it’s an odd sort of relationship.
___
3.) Peach is his favorite color.
___
4.) Got a bit too drunk with Razum-Dar one time and somehow ended up with a tramp stamp of the Aldmeri Dominion symbol. Drecenil has a vague memory of it being his side of a good-hearted drunken deal and to this day Razum-Dar AND Drecenil have no clue what the fuck Raz’s side of it was.
Drecenil: “I got a damn tattoo above my ass, what the fuck did you do?”
Raz:
___
5.) Grew up in a well-off family with two other siblings. Well-off family aligned quite often with Veiled Heritance-esque sentiment before it actually existed (so, uh. Like the majority of Summerset Altmer, unfortunately) and he was disowned for opposing political views (he IS an Eye of the Fucking Queen) PLUS a track record in thievery PLUS a.. bit of a relationship with a Dunmer.
Doesn’t like to talk about it too much, and while he’s generally a very impish person who jokes about anything in fucking existence, that is one thing he avoids.
…
Oh my God. Wait. I just thought about this and I’m literally losing my mind, OK, this is so contrived but do you know what? Do you know who I’m making his two other siblings? LARYARIL AND ASTERIL FROM THE AD QUESTLINE. “Cassius, who the fuck–” Remember? Those two Altmer twins!
I can’t go into detail because spoilers but the former provided some delicious lore to tear apart about Pelidil and his plans/the situation with Naemon, in addition to contributing to one of the most interesting parts of the AD questline. (the………… Pelidil Situation. Here’s the quest where a lot of the shit involving them goes down although there’s the one prior to it that provides more backstory; including this letter from Pelidil.)
So now Estryon has two more distant ancestors to add to the Thramian timeline. I initially had that Drecenil was an only child but I suppose I can make this work.
___
6.) Dunmer that he gets with is //spins wheel Balen Hlaalu, from the Thieves Guild. I had this determined prior to this ask meme; but it was a pretty uh– random choice. Don’t know how to write a Dunmer nevertheless a Hlaalu so this should be fun.
Also. They eventually end up having a totally 100% planned (not) kid named Eriana. (guess what trans + dysphoria-induced trigger that targets with the intention of trying to take down)
___
7.) He was the closest to Asteril out of his two siblings. This is an obscure historical reference only like five people on my main would get but think… Asia Booth and John Wilkes Booth and the sibling bond they had; two peas in a pod. Just… take any really close and meaningful sibling relationship and you have Drecenil and Asteril.
After Drecenil gets the boot from the family Asteril still maintains personal correspondence before she joins the Thalmor herself. Not the same as Drecenil, for the Eyes of the Queen are obviously different than the general Thalmor, albeit still the Thalmor. (with Laryaril following suit but… we all know how that turned out eventually)
___
8.) He has an absurdly high pain tolerance. Like. Absurdly high. Freakishly high.
___
9.) He hates chocolate. Loathes.
___
10.) He’s a cat person. Has an Abecean Ratter Cat named Dawn. The cat acts like a demon to everyone else except him.
___
