This is gonna sounds goofy but in a particular fandom ship I'm in the fans really bicker about height difference and seethe when artists make the male character taller than the female. I don't particularly care one way or the other and find that type of nitpicking to be pretty petty.

But then I imagined what if astarlach shippers did that and cringed. I imagined astarion taller than karlach, him bending down to kiss her or to pick her up and embrace her and the thought made me so uncomfortable! I know it's a nonissue but just picturing astarion taller than karlach is so weird to me. Someone else suffer with taller astarion cringe with me. He stays shorter no matter what! Haha

Started a new bg3 playthrough. this time im doing everything by the book. being as good as possible. Gale, Wyll, and Karlach are my babies. Astarion and Shadowheart hate me. Laezel is possibly coming on to me, but I think thats bc im a dragonborn.

Surprisingly, this might be my favorite yet. I hate that I enjoy being good.

hmm i don't think the nuances of astarion's reaction to araj is to do with him finding romanticisation of his vampirism specifically to be distasteful so much as, like, she's objectifying him and that's what he doesn't like (but instead of sex, it's based on his vampirism). something something there's a difference between strangers and someone you trust something

the bug in the game that makes astarion just look grossed out and smile awkwardly at the camera for a second when you ask to kiss him and then back at Tav like he's literally asking us if we're being for real is literally making me cry laughing like oh my god

The kiss of the Ascended Astarion is coming, folks. That means a new batch of fixers poison scrolls.

About the kiss itself, the new movements and phrases afterward if any are to be made.

In repertory:

- He's cringe and gross, ew - His kiss is creepy - He's abjusively kissing - He's manipulatively kissing - It's the honeymoon phase of the abusive cycle - He fakes feelings because Mephistopheles took his soul\all good - Kiss with Cazador 2.0. - It's not Astarion's kiss, it’s a husk's kiss - He not himself anymore - He's mimics feelings because he's stuck in trauma - He's like a True Vampire obsessively kissing, it's not love - He has no feelings, he's incapable of love. - Tav is humiliated in his eyes, he doesn't love - He despises Tav and considers Tav a degenerate pet-property, he doesn't love, the kiss isn't real love - It's an act of possession, not a love-kiss - It's a power play, not a love-kiss - He's kissing misogynistic\plain hateful - *Something passive-aggressive, provocative, snide* - Hot, BUT I love Spawn, his kiss is genuine, true and better wuw - It's sad to see that. This tasteless song is sung about everything the Ascended Astarion does. Generally from those who hate the "romanticization" of dark romances with the vampire-decadent who is Astarion. So it's anything, but one single nice romance with the "evil" man for the "path of evil" (like Minthara) in the game and a sincere kiss of Dark Love.

It's funny if Spawn and Lord kiss is no different. And it's not fair if one of them gets a kiss and one of them doesn't. I hope I didn't miss anything. Post will be edited if so
