Being near the Fool when he's having a conversation must be weird. One moment you're watching him make exaggerated gestures unable to hear what he's saying and then the next he's declaring the most out of context shit to everyone within a mile radius.

Okay I was REALLY loving the start of the Realm of the Elderlings series until I got half way through the second book and stumbled onto the wiki page... now I legitimately kind of hate Robin Hobb. It is so genuinely offensive so give your love story to a male character and a gender fluid character reffered to as 'he' through out most of the series but to decide that their bond "transcends" sex, and there will just be this side character background woman who exists for the sex and making babies and domestic bliss part (starting WAYY too young and unrealistically matched like how are they getting back together and framed as deeply connected when they kind of stumbled into a relationship because they were young emotional and intensely lonely and societal hardships and standards) while the actual interesting character and soul mate with whom the main characters relationship builds over time/ literally calls fucking BELOVED is denied the place of love interest because they're not a woman....

Just say you hate women (yes internalised misogyny is real) and gays you didn't have to write 14 books about it

One of my favorite ass quest scenes and the one time Fitz correctly identified whether something was or was not his fault in perhaps his entire life.
