I don't regret my dsmp phase but I genuinely think its time for people to move on. No one should be making discduo posts and fanart in the year of our Lord 2024, no one should be making edits of c! Wilbur or discussing the motivations of c! Tommy, or cosplaying characters from the DSMP. It feels like people doing that are still stuck in 2021 and I'm scared for their mental development. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be watching the CCs, hell, last year I was still writing fanfiction about the CCs, but seriously, its time to let the dsmp die and remember the good old days

This whole ‘Emmet Vanishing’ situations has really shown a flaw in their system with the train being completely down just because one guy is missing. This seems like a great time for the DWMA to send student cannon fodder I mean interns/job shadows to help out lmao.

I mean in their defense, they live on train 24/7. Death really couldn’t have found anyone better to protect the train than 2 super powerful meisters/weapons who also has an obsession with public transit sksksk

I’d say before Emmet and Ingo were in the picture, the train either didn’t venture out as much as it does or constantly attacked/endangered. Them taking the helm and building it from the ground up, rebuilding it as a simple freight train to a passenger one is pretty impressive!

But on the topic of cannon fodder students, I seriously think Emmet and Ingo would 100% be against them working on their train simply because in their mind, it goes against all safety regulations SKSK

Question ...if fairies rely on desire to feed,would Dev be a GOOD food source or a terrible food source? Does desire come from wishing or wanting more, essentially. Because dev like.. Has all he can want except his dad's approval ,so how does that work?

Fairies' food comes from the innate emotion a person has while Wishes are just the only way Fairies can pull the emotions (food) out!!!

The more the desire is out of reach, the more delicious it is, and the longer the fairy can go without needing another meal. It's simply easier to harvest from children because they have big emotions, and weak minds and impulses. A child can say "I wish" more openly than an adult does, making it easier for Fairies to cultivate.

Dev's one of the best food sources there is. In fact, he's able to feed a family of 5 for at least 8 months! However, he's also one of the worse sources to collect from because his desire is noncollectable by magic.

Which means you'll need an expert high-class, high-ranking Fairy Godparent who can siphon out his Desires into smaller parts via multiple smaller wishes!

I am thinking about how Edwin asked Charles if he'd been crying, when they were in the Devlin house. Something about it seemed to me like this wasn't something Edwin was unfamiliar with.

So please picture, it's the early 90s, and for two ghost boys things are going pretty swell. They have their freedom, this blossoming friendship, and a detective agency they're starting up. But also remember that Charles is a 16 year old boy. No one can see him or hear him. He can never go home. He'll never hug his mom again. His friends killed him. He can't sleep. Or sometimes it's the little things, like not being able to taste his favourite foods and drinks. He is 16 forever now, and in those early years sometimes it hits him that he's dead, and the grief just knocks him down.

Edwin may never be comfortable with the emotional outbursts but he is understanding. Edwin didn't have time to grieve his own death, and he has no one on Earth to miss, but Charles had a life, and he had people, and things that brought him comfort that are beyond him now. So when Charles cries and grieves his own death, and says it's not fair, Edwin doesn't argue. He just tries to be there for his new friend as best as he can.

So as far as I can tell you havn't said how Vil got Urcon. He just shows up with a child? Where did he get the child Mellos? How does one just find a child? You can't just take a scraggly lost child from the streets like a kitten and claim it as your own. Surely there are laws and regulations for stuff like this. And how did he meet Urcon? How did he get emotionally attached enough to want to adopt him? Did he prepare himself for a deluge of questions from his husbands? Was he thrown for a loop when they just accepted it no question?
