I think when you wore that strawberry dress. It changed something, started seeing a lot more men in dresses that year. Maybe I sought it out but I do think u did something.
I have had a lot of people and fellow creators tell me that seeing me wearing a dress so confidently made them feel able to do it themselves.
The ones I hear about most are the Stawberry Dress and the Bi dress I wore to the first Streamer Awards, which was also the first time I wore a dress in public.

Trying to work out my gender and sexuality while being exploded with public attention was terrifying, but I feel like things have chilled out a lot, and I finally think I have worked stuff out.
It makes me so happy to have inspired so many! Be who you want to be! Don't let anyone stop you!
Fuck gender roles! <3

This was a couple months ago, but this is me and my best friend at prom. I’m on the left.
Thank you @theeretblr for helping me get the confidence to wear a suit to my school’s prom. I rocked that shit and I was happier than ever

Sooooo , Eret , Just wanted to ask , Do you "like" Astrid?
Clearly that annoying night fury rider has something with her. If I wanted to get near her, then I’d have to fend that guy off. Plus, she wouldn’t like me back.

was anyone going to tell me that you had a fucking GLOW UP since when I last saw any of your content around two or three years ago or was I just supposed to find that out upon stumbling onto your tumblr blog
Queen I cannot stress this enough you are GORGEOUS
I found this pic from 2020. The signs were there from the start!
Comparing it to how I am now, even when I'm not presenting fem, I am feeling higher levels of self-confidence about my body and personal image than I ever have! :D
Thank you <3

Do you know if there is a name for feeling like you have no gender? I'm too afraid to google it
I'm not afraid to google it
Tumblr media
Yep, Agender! Now go do some more research, there's nothing to be afraid of! Also a reminder that labels do not define who you are, you can use labels to help explain to others how you feel, but you should not feel like you have to put yourself into a box.

This is probably a frequently asked question, but here we go! I’m a guy who wants to try dressing more androgynously (and who also probably isn’t gender cis lol), what’s your advice on breaking that gender barrier for the first time?
This is one of the best questions I have ever received!
I'm so passionate about this! There are so many different ways someone could experiment with AMAB gender for the first time.
Simple ways to "break the gender barrier" could be: - Asking a friend(s) to use a different name or pronouns - Growing your hair out or getting it styled more "femme" - Experimenting with make up > Most days I just clean shave and use concealer and powder to cover up any blemishes or facial hair darkness. I'm only recently learning more about makeup stuff myself, but it works! - Trying on more "feminine" clothes (e.g. bras, v-neck shirts, skirts) - Wearing shape wear (e.g. hip pads, breast forms) > I wear breast forms slotted into a regular bra most days. I can share what I use most of the time if anyone is interested. > Breast forms have the benefit of being removable and come in different sizes. > I've seen breast forms as cheap as $22, but the ones I like most are usually around $60-$70. > From an outside perspective, breast forms are almost always perceived as real in my experience > If you are wanting to try out breast forms, I would recommend starting relatively small (around A-C cup size) and then go bigger if you want. I have found it is much easier to style around having smaller breast forms, especially more casually. > Larger breast forms will need a more supportive bra, especially as they aren't glued to your chest (though those do exist) > When presenting Fem, I am generally wearing some hip and butt pads, these help balance out my silhouette with my breast forms to be more feminine overall. (Again, I can link if interested)
I hope this helps! Those are just some ideas and advice from someone who has been working a lot of this out themselves. I'm sure many people have had different experiences, but these are things that I know have worked for myself and friends. Please let me know if you guys can think of any more! Thank you!

hi, i saw your recent ask and i was wondering. how do you build an androgynous/femme outfit? especially for AMAB people who tend to have a more rectangular body shape.
thanks in advance!!
I think being able to separate clothing from gender is an important part of being able to present how you want to present.
Of course, there is a lot of cultural pressure around certain pieces of clothing being associated with certain gender presentations. However, I find that clothing is not the main thing that helps me with androgyneity. For me, that would be shapewear in the form of hip pads, butt pads (these are basically boxer shorts with inserts for specifically shaped pads), and breast forms.
Here is how I present most days I go out compared with a more masc look:

The main differences between these are the makeup and the shapewear for the femme look. Otherwise, the cargo pants are the same, and the vneck t-shirts are the same brand.

Hi Eret! I was at Tommy's show tonight and I just wanted to say that I'm so, so deeply sorry if us in the vip section pointing you guys out caused you or any of the other ccs there any trouble. It was absolutely amazing being able to see you though, even from the first floor. I hope you still enjoyed the show!
No worries! Let me explain how it was from our perspective
I was invited to TommyInnit's LA show last night with some other creator friends (e.g. Slimecicle, Ted Nivison, RubberRoss, and more). Security tried to make sure that we wouldn't get swarmed, so they brought us in at the back of the theatre and took us away for the intermission.
We were brought back a bit early for the start of the second act. All the lights were still on, and when one person saw us and shouted our names, everyone else started turning around!
Tumblr media
It was so sweet to see how excited everyone was! But I did definitely appreciate that the security was on top of it to prevent it from getting too rowdy! I hope you enjoyed the show!

I SAW ONE CHILL STREAM. ONE
AND THAT WAS WHEN I REALIZED SOMETHING WAS UP ABOUT MY GENDER
THANK YOU KING HOLY F••K
Sometimes I feel like a version of Medusa, but instead of turning people to stone, I queer their gender.
Congratulations on being able to find yourself! I'm glad I was able help with that <3

I forgot things could "trend" on Tumblr
Is the trending page important on here? Either way, being up there is pretty cool! Thank you for the love!
I want to get into using Tumblr again. Is there anything I should know about that most Tumblr users just take for granted? :o

can you share what breast forms you use please? :O
Of course!
Here is a list of some various shapewear things I use as an AMAB Genderfluid person:
Chest Stuff - Breast forms: https://a.co/d/3Ph0LBW - Cheap bra that I use most days: https://a.co/d/08kTI2v - Larger, full coverage bra that is more supportive: https://a.co/d/dtKLRXm
You can just slot the breast forms into the bra. Make sure to measure your band size so you get the right size. I would recommend starting smaller to average size (B/C cup) as larger breasts can be harder to make more casual outfits with (they're also just heavier).
Hip Stuff - The short hip pads I use (though they are currently unavailable): https://a.co/d/8apRadX - Longer hip pads that I use sometimes, they are sometimes too long for certain skirts, dresses, and shorts (also unavailable D:): https://a.co/d/iXXzvPJ - Butt pads: https://a.co/d/0zdzmZv
I can't attest for other hip pads, but I'm sure you can find similar to what I have!

Are you open to makeup tips and stuff?
Because as someone who basically figured out how to do makeup fully through experimentation and stuff I learned some handy dandy things
PLEASE! I need whatever make up/outfit tips I can get!
There's a lot to learn, especially when I never grew up with femininity, so I'm learning it all now.
To anyone: Are there any good make up looks/tutorials/advice you would recommend? :o

Hi. This is prolly not gonna be seen but n case you do, i wanna thank you! I live in a country where people likeus arent really.....welcome, but youve made me so comfortable in my own self. Without your help and things you do to make positivity spread, especially about matters that are usually (to me)said to be wrong, i have been able to come out to most of my friends and even some of my family(only my sister lol)
Without you i probably would have still been confused , hating the lgbt and hating myself most of all.
So thank you! for the work you do, to make so MANYY people like me feel safer
I am so proud to hear about your journey and I wish you so much luck as you continue onwards! I never thought I would be able to have this level of impact on so many lives. I remember how alone I felt trying to work my own stuff out when I was younger. I had so little representation that I thought I'd have to bury and hide how I felt in order to be "normal".
When there are more people who feel able to be comfortably themselves, then others will see their journey and perhaps gain the confidence to pursue their own self-discovery! Being open and comfortable with yourself helps others do the same, even if you don't know them.
You matter! Take care of yourself, take care of others, you are loved, you are supported, we're here for you all. Be proud to be you! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Also, this is a very useful resource on Coming Out and general LGBTQ+ terminology from the Trevor Project. It's been a while since I shared it here, so here it is again! :)
